Hello, I'd like to inquire if the STM32H735G-DK supports a CAN FD transceiver, or if I should purchase an external transceiver

Hello,Can I only write to the flash with 64 bit variables, or also 32/16/8 bit?I just used this function for this: HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_DOUBLEWORD, activepageaddress + u32_Offset, u64_Data)I have an STM32L432 uC.I already found this example: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeL4/blob/master/Projects/NUCLEO-L4P5ZG/Examples/FLASH/FLASH_FastProgram/Src/main.cMany thanks in advance.

Hello,I'm using NUCLEO-G474RE kit with soldered USB on PINs:PA11 - USB Data minusPA12 - USB Data plusVIN - VBUSIn the User configuration I have:nSWBOOT = CheckednBOOT0 = CheckednBOOT1 = CheckedThere is programmed program with blinking LED so I know it is running. The BOOT0 on board is connected after reset or power up.Unfortunately the bootloader never start and the board is blinking with my program instead. Can you please help what could be wrong so the bootloader doesnt start?Does the bootloader recognize if there is USB connected automatically? Thank you. Jan

Paragraph 10.7.3 of RM0456 manual for STM32U575/585 microcontroller cites registers RCC_AHB3AMENR and RCC_APB3AMENR to configure autonomous peripheral clock gating during stop 2 mode.However, I didn't find any other reference of such registers in the same document nor in the datasheet. Instead, it seems that such function is already covered by RCC_xxxxSMENR registers. May this be a typo? Thank you for the excellent workRegards

Sleep testing, How do I configure my GPIO pins to absolutely be surenone of them are supplying any power ?I wish to turn the all "off".And if there is a quick way to do it via  CubeMx , so I won't miss any ?   Thanks

Hi,I started a design with STM32U5 series MCU. In the STM32CubeX's HSE settings, there is a new option "DIGBYPASS Clock Source'. What's the differences with the old 'bypass clock source'?Thanks.

Hi everyone , can anyone please help me in the issue which i am facing, any help will be much appreciated, i am using the sample projects in the website will be attaching the link -https://docs.rakwireless.com/Product-Categories/WisDuo/RAK3172-Module/Low-Level-Development/#rak3172-on-stm32cubeide-with-stm32wl-sdk-v1-0-0   In the sample projects to open the project i always have to follow the below link completely even if many parts i am not using which is (Projects\NUCLEO-WL55JC\Applications\LoRaWAN) even then i have use in the same way which is (C:\Users\Dell\Desktop\Projects\NUCLEO-WL55JC\Applications\LoRaWAN\LoRaWAN_End_Node) or else i will receive an error in cube ide which is (make: *** No rule to make target 'C:/Users/Dell/Utilities/trace/adv_trace/stm32_adv_trace.c', needed by 'Utilities/stm32_adv_trace.o'. Stop.) even if i include the path in MCU GCC compiler it still gives me the above error.

I have the P-Nucleo-IHM03, I'm trying to use Motor Pilot V1.1.5 and it will not connect. The STLink works just fine when using CubeProgrammer

Hi, I have TouchGFX Designer 4.22.0 version installed in my PC. For my project I am using STM32U5A9NJH6Q  controller with Riverdi display part number SM-RVT50HQSNWC00-B. But, in the TouchGFX Designer application I am not able to create a project because in create->By Partners i am not able to find a template for this particular display. I can only find the templae for 1280*800 and 1024*600 resolution displays for Riverdi. But not for 800*480 resolution.  Can any one please have a look in this and help me fix this issue. I have also attached in the screenshot of how my designer application create window looks.

I need help with configuring HYPERRAM for my STM32 on a custom PCB. The HYPERRAM pins are about 32mm away from the MCU pins.The HYPERRAM works, but I get strange flickering on the display even with static data in RAM which I think comes memory errors of the external RAM. My memory passes some basic memory tests, but I think things go wrong when the LTDC peripheral reads from the memory at high speeds. I could be wrong about this, but I need to tune the configuration of the memory anyway. I want to exclude this possibility.There are so many settings and contradictory advice that I'm overwhelmed.Turning on D-cache for the HYPERRAM doesn't help.If I calibrate the delay block the memory tests fail. If I don't calibrate it, it doesn't fail. If I disable it it also fails.I've implemented calibration according to the following forum post: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32h7-octospi-mode-hyperbus-hyperram-access-and-delay-block/m-p/143244/highlight/true#M27659I can read the

I want to limpet  VL53L5CX driver so i used VL53L5CX_SimpleRanging driver for reference. so i can Enable USE_BARE_DRIVER ? and i got proper output? or you can give any example code where USE_BARE_DRIVER used , so i can use it and implement.  Also below data is required to write /* Download FW into VL53L5 */status |= WrByte(&(p_dev->platform), 0x7fff, 0x09);status |= WrMulti(&(p_dev->platform),0,(uint8_t*)&VL53L5CX_FIRMWARE[0],0x8000);status |= WrByte(&(p_dev->platform), 0x7fff, 0x0a);status |= WrMulti(&(p_dev->platform),0,(uint8_t*)&VL53L5CX_FIRMWARE[0x8000],0x8000);status |= WrByte(&(p_dev->platform), 0x7fff, 0x0b);status |= WrMulti(&(p_dev->platform),0,(uint8_t*)&VL53L5CX_FIRMWARE[0x10000],0x5000);status |= WrByte(&(p_dev->platform), 0x7fff, 0x01);

Hı everyoneI was trying to send the data to termite terminal. The data variables are coming from DS1307 (RTC Module) and BH1750 (Lux) sensor. However, The data coming from lux sensor is zero in termite. Rtc module variable is okey. Lux sensor variable is declared as lux. When ı debuged it, ı can see lux value properly but the USART transmit 0. By the way, both of sensor is connected to I2C1 bus. I have Stm32f4 discovery kit. How can ı solve that ? /* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" #include "DS1307.h" #include "bh1750.h" #include <stdio.h> #include <string.h> /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ char tx_buff[50]; uint16_t lux=0; /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */ /* USER CODE END PTD */ /* Private defi

Hello,I have a interrupt conflict between two peripherals on pins PK7 and PI7. I am aware that these two end up on same EXTI7 interrupt mux, hence conflict in interrupt occurs. I am wondering if there is a way to separate these interrupts on different controllers perhaps? Re-designing the HW is not really possible or very hard at this stage

Hello,I would like to determine the ADC sampling frequency.I am initializing the ADC with following: hadc1.Instance = ADC1;hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4;hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B;hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_ENABLE;hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = ENABLE;hadc1.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE;hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE;hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START;hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT;hadc1.Init.NbrOfConversion = 2;hadc1.Init.DMAContinuousRequests = DISABLE;hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SEQ_CONV;if (HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1) != HAL_OK){Error_Handler();} /** Configure for the selected ADC regular channel its corresponding rank in the sequencer and its sample time.*/sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_0;sConfig.Rank = ADC_REGULAR_RANK_1;sConfig.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLETIME_112CYCLES;//ADC_SAMPLETIME_3CYCLES;if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig) != HAL_OK){E

The target MCU on the NUCLEO-F446RE board receives its clock input directly from the on-board STLink-V2.1 probe (see clock signal MCO in figure below):That's because the crystal X3 is not soldered on the board by default. So, when I launch a new project in CubeMX for this particular board, I would expect to see this reflected in the clock settings:However, I see the following: That's weird. The default selection is 'Crystal/Ceramic Resonator' while in fact, no high-speed crystal is soldered on the board.Is this an error in CubeMX? If so, then the following .ioc file must be fixed:C:/Program Files/STMicroelectronics/STM32Cube/STM32CubeMX/db/plugins/boardmanager/boards/A42_Nucleo_NUCLEO-F446RE_STM32F446RE_Board_AllConfig.ioc

hi st-community,as i'm newbie embd engr.,i have limited knowledge of using to select mcu or mpu in stelectronics or any.so please suggest me for custom hardware making using stm32..as i have basic understanding of st-world..from past 5 month.I have tested the STM32F769I-DISCO for 12-lead ECG data acquisition and printing using a thermal printer, with a GUI  TouchGFX as the basis. Now, I need to finalize the choice of chip for our multi-parameter patient monitor application.1. is there any way for developing custom HW like using project files for discovery board to import in altium and able to customize to our need ..thats all i needed to do..2.  I've selected the STM32MP15 (dual core -800mhz main) as my processor for better handling, especially for external RAM memory like LPDDR3. Considering future development, would starting with custom hardware based on the high-level STM32MP15 be the best option?3.where, my previous post, i didn't get replay..where they told f7 is suitabl

 Hi, I'm working on STM32F746G-DISCO. Kindly can someone tell me if it is normal that after making some project screens on TouchGFX and launching the SIMULATOR, everything is ok. I open the project with CubeIde and add some code from the IDE and transfer it to STM32F746G-DISCO it continues to work, if I try to simulate it with the TouchGFX SIMULATOR I can no longer make it work and it gives me errors right in the lines of code I have added. Thank you.

Dear Experts,I’m currently working on a project involving an STM32 board (B-U585I-IOT02A). I would like to use this board as a TCP Server . Therefore, from the STM32CUBEIDE application, I had observed that there is an example project in which it is possible to render this board as a TCP Server (Nx_TCP_Echo_Server). However, my problem was that it only returns the value returned by the TCP Client. So, I wanted to modify this program so as to be able to retrieve the temperature parameters. So, I created a program based on an example (https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32StepByStep:Step4_Sensors_usage). I wanted to combine these two programs to retrieve the temperature data.To sum up, the diagram is as follows:After activating the I2C module in the hal_conf.h file, I had no errors during debugging and was able to retrieve the temperature when sending a request from Node-Red. Nevertheless, this program has a number of flaws. The number of requests is limited, as you can see in the image

Hello,We are in the process of integrating TouchGFX into our workflow and back-end build systems. We are using a STM32U599. Please see my question with respect to the tree belowWhat is the difference between TouchGFXNema and NemaGFX libraries?What does the wc16 suffix on the libraries mean? Middlewares/ST/touchgfx_components/ └── gpu2d ├── NemaGFX │ ├── include │ └── lib │ └── core │ └── cortex_m33 │ └── gcc │ ├── libnemagfx.a │ ├── libnemagfx-float-abi-hard.a │ ├── libnemagfx-float-abi-hard-wc16.a │ └── libnemagfx-wc16.a └── TouchGFXNema ├── include │ └── touchgfx_nema └── lib └── cortex_m33 └── gcc ├── libtouchgfxnema.a └── libtouchgfxnema-float-abi-hard.a

I am testing the development board STM32U5A9J-DK with THIS and trying to run the GPIO Toggle example program. But during the build process I get the error fatal error: stm32u5xx.h: No such file or directory.I am using CubeIDE version 1.14.1.How to fix this problem?

Hi All, I am facing problem with RTC in STM32.i have written function in my code where i am updating display function for time every 1 min. But whenever i am trying to  see the updated time in free running mode i am unable to see that. But it works fine in debugging mode or at power on or when i program microcontroller. Please suggest what can be done to resolve this issue? Thanking you in advance.

Enabling analog watchdog 1 for ADC3 on a STM32H723 in CubeMX with low threshold 0x8 and high threshold 0x80 generatesLL_ADC_SetAnalogWDThresholds(ADC3, LL_ADC_AWD1, 0x80, 0x8);but the doc comment for LL_ADC_SetAnalogWDThresholds() says regarding the third parameter * @param AWDThresholdsHighLow This parameter can be one of the following values: * @arg @ref LL_ADC_AWD_THRESHOLD_HIGH * @arg @ref LL_ADC_AWD_THRESHOLD_LOWindicating that the correct code to generate would be LL_ADC_SetAnalogWDThresholds(ADC3, LL_ADC_AWD1, LL_ADC_AWD_THRESHOLD_HIGH, 0x80); LL_ADC_SetAnalogWDThresholds(ADC3, LL_ADC_AWD1, LL_ADC_AWD_THRESHOLD_LOW, 0x8);However neither produces the desired result. The code generated by CubeMX sets the lower threshold to 8, whereas the code I assumed to be correct sets it to 0x88. The high threshold is left at the reset value of 0xFFF in both cases.Looking at LL_ADC_SetAnalogWDThresholds() the line MODIFY_REG(*preg, AWDThresholdsHighLow, AWDThresholdValue << ((AWDThr

The logic in functions HAL_SAI_Abort() and HAL_SAI_DMAStop() is flawed because the sequence of actions is wrong. A proper sequence is:Disable the SAI and wait for it to be actually disabled.Stop the DMA.Flush the SAI FIFO.In the current implementation the function SAI_Disable() is called after stopping the DMA. This causes a SAI underrun and a data glitch at the end of stream. The bug seems to be present for all series with SAI peripheral.Also the two functions do almost the same and the code is also almost the same, which is an example of a bad and bloated design.
