In LwIP examples for NUCLEO-H723ZG, in the linker, I think that there is an incorrect range of RAM_D2 memory. For example here: MEMORY { ITCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x00000000, LENGTH = 64K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K ROM (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 1024K RAM_D2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x30000000, LENGTH = 288K }SRAM available from 0x30000000 has 32 kB availablefrom  the reference manual:Or am I missing something? I am writing here before creating an issue on GitHub as I am not sure I am not misreading something. I think they took it from the STM32H74x/H75x devices as those have this amount of memory. The example works correctly as the addresses used are hard-coded in the application, but the size should be correct either way.

I'd like to use an STM32C011F4P6 as a transceiver between USARTs 1 and 2.As a first approach, I've set both USARTs to 9600bd, and I want anything that's incoming on one of them to be directly sent to the other. In both directions at the same time.In the USART1 and USART2 configuration I enabled NVIC interrupts for both of them.I then created a HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback() in section 4 in my main.c: void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { /* Prevent unused argument(s) compilation warning */ //UNUSED(huart); if (huart->Instance == USART1) { HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart2, huart1.pRxBuffPtr, 1); HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart1, huart1.pRxBuffPtr, 1); } else if (huart->Instance == USART2) { HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart1, huart2.pRxBuffPtr, 1); HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart2, huart2.pRxBuffPtr, 1); } /* NOTE : This function should not be modified, when the callback is needed, the HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback can be implemented in the user file. */

using STMCubeMx 6.1.2 on a STM32H723The code generator does not generate this line in hal_msp.c / HAL_SPDIFRX_MspInit()GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = GPIO_AF9_SPDIF;The consequence is that the pin behaves like an output forced to 0 instead of behaving like an input, which obviously prevents SPDIFRX from working. The problem occurs at least for the 2 first SPDIFRX input lines.

Hi every ones. Where I can found L7915CV negative voltage regulator spice model? Or other equivalent spice model of other negative regulator. I saw that it is obsoleted.

HIIf the CAN message ID set to FIFO0 is received, HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback will be called correctly.but,HAL_CAN_RxFifo1MsgPendingCallback is not called even if the CAN message ID set in FIFO1 is received.The following is strange.step1Send CAN message set in FIFO1 from CANoestep2HAL_CAN_RxFifo1MsgPendingCallback is not called.step3Send CAN message set in FIFO0 from CANoestep4HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback is called.After this, HAL_CAN_RxFifo1MsgPendingCallback is called! !The data received in FIFO1 is from FIFO1 and is correct. Below is the code.Any help is welcome. #define FILTER_ID(id)      ((id << 5) | (REMOTE_FRAME << 4)) HAL_CAN_DeactivateNotification( &hcan, CAN_IT_RX_FIFO0_MSG_PENDING );HAL_CAN_DeactivateNotification( &hcan, CAN_IT_RX_FIFO1_MSG_PENDING ); HAL_CAN_Stop( &hcan ); /* FilterBank0 */sFilterConfig.FilterBank           = 0; /* FilterBank0 */sFilterConfig.FilterMode&

I am looking for a alternative chip to replace an obsolete part. The part is a ST UAA4003DP This a 16 pin chip used in a DC motor drive to control the motor speed.I can't find any information on this other than the fact that it is obsolete.. I did find a data sheet for a UAA4000 chip, but it is for a remote control transmitter.

Hi, I have a STM32F407 Discovery Board and I'have made full cihp erase. But I have no idea what I can do after doing this. In the communtiy I have read that I have to install the original firmware. How can I do that? Can you help me? Thanks from now.

Hi there,I am receiving a hardfault when erasing pages of flash, seemingly randomly. I can recreate the issue somewhat consistently if I rapidly erase flash pages. I have followed the example project from the STM32WB firmware package (erase flash example). This is my function for erasing flash. flash_status_t user_flash_erase_page(uint8_t page_number, uint8_t number_of_pages) { // static FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef EraseInitStruct = {0}; static FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef EraseInitStruct = {0}; if(HAL_FLASH_Unlock()!= HAL_OK) { return FLASH_ERROR; } /* Clear OPTVERR bit set on virgin samples */ __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_OPTVERR); EraseInitStruct.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_PAGES; EraseInitStruct.Page = page_number; EraseInitStruct.NbPages = number_of_pages; uint32_t page_error = 0; if (HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&EraseInitStruct, &page_error) != HAL_OK) { HAL_FLASH_Lock(); return FLASH_ERROR; } else { HAL_FLASH_Lock(); return FLASH_OK; } return FLASH_

STM32F103Im using HAL_UART_Transmit_IT but doesnt work, if change to HAL_UART_Transmit all works fime but add delays to move in motors. Where are my error? i see all videos on youtb and cant find the problem.I have enabled the IT on MX the priority are on 0, (try other combinations but same result)i call the enviar4Variables_IT on  the while of movement motors, for update the position without delay the motors.Out side the while i call with out IT with no problems.I check the debug up to return HAL_OK (not are busy, the addres of pointer its correct inside of HAL_UART_Transmit_IT )I think must works but i dont know what happenThanks in advancevoid HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { uartIT_free = 1; } void enviar4Variables_IT(uint16_t variable, uint16_t valor1, uint16_t valor2, uint16_t valor3, uint16_t valor4) { if(uartIT_free) { uartIT_free = 0; uint8_t data[] = {0x82, (uint8_t)(variable >> 8), (uint8_t)(variable & 255), (uint8_t)(

As mentioned above, I encountered a similar issue before when using the L0 series, and at that time, I chose to abandon hardware I2C in favor of software emulation. Now, with the STM32G431, when I use LL_I2C_HandleTransfer to configure continuous reading of multiple data along with LL_I2C_MODE_AUTOEND, after the first read operation completes the specified number of bytes, it automatically triggers a STOP condition, which is as expected. However, upon the second invocation of this code segment, I noticed that after reading the last byte, the SCL remains pulled low. This behavior seems equivalent to the I2C peripheral being stuck. The STM32, as the master, should not keep the SCL pulled low without performing any operation at any point. On the first read operation, a STOP condition was automatically triggered after reading 6 bytes of data, which is normal. When I call the same function for the second time to read data, after the last byte is read, the SCL remains pulled low, which

I have an issue with adding files to a project I have using the STM32 VSCode extension. I have been working on this project for some time without issue. However, today I needed to add a new source file, I opened STM32CubeIDE and added the source file and entered a small stub function. The project compiled in CubeIDe, so, I switched back to VSCode, my preferred IDE. When I opened the new file I saw a very short red "squiggle" at the very first character position. When hovering the cursor over this I get the message "command line error: language modes specified are incompatible. C/C++(1027)".The project builds within VSCode just fine; however, IntelliSense is inoperable withing the file. This makes editing much harder and I would like to know how to resolve this issue.I have tried deleting the additions and redoing them, the result is always the same.

Hi,I am currently using the M3_CryptoFW_RngHW_2_0_6.lib for MDK-ARM. However, I must adhere to this specific library version, and I now need it for IAR, meaning that the required library is M3_CryptoFW_RngHW_2_0_6.a. How can I obtain this version for IAR?Thank you,Ari

I want to set up error handling for my CAN messages, and I wanted to start with errors from sending messages to IDs not on the CAN bus net. However, every message I send is acknowledged. There is only stm32 chip set up on the net and the rest are currently TMC Pandrive motors. I am sending messages to individual motors with different IDs without issue - they're received and the motors react accordingly. So I am not sure how or why these messages to other CAN IDs are acknowledged. Below is the code I use in my CAN interface file.  #include <CANInterface.h> CAN_RxHeaderTypeDef rxHeader; CAN_TxHeaderTypeDef txHeader; std::vector<uint8_t> canRX(7, 0); CAN_FilterTypeDef canfil; uint32_t canMailbox; void HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback(CAN_HandleTypeDef *hcan1) { std::vector<char> sendBuf(60, 0); uint8_t bufLen = sprintf(sendBuf.data(), "response triggered\r\n"); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart5, (uint8_t *)sendBuf.data(), bufLen, 200); HAL_CAN

"Hi,I am trying to read an ADC value from the feedback of a PWM signal generated via TIM3 PWM.TIM1 generates a PWM signal with 4 channels, including complementary channels. The CCR value updates from the Sine table using DMA.The ADC is being read when the TIM1 update event occurs. The ADC data is saved to the buffer via DMA.However, when I try to read the ADC, the data is only saved alternately. Why is this happening?"

Dear all!I'm working with a custom board. I would like to make a simple application (without Lora). Just sending packets that the device receives from Uart over the air to another device. 1st approch will be only in one direction to keep it simple. Some entries unter middleware are selected and grayed out. Middleware-SubGHZPHY: It is selected, grayed out. I can't configure anything and there is no 'middleware' folder/code in the generated code. Do I have to add the code manually?Middleware-Freertos: It is selected, grayed out.  I can't configure anything and the code doesn't look like rtos (no threads and so on.FYI: I have activated SUBGHZ.Does anybody know a simple example/tutorial, how to start with an simple application, that sends packets from one device to the other device? Thanks!best regards

HelloSTM8S microcontroller. Cosmic compiler. How can I find out how much memory my C program is using and for what purposes?

Hello, STM32 community,I am currently working on a project using the STM32H755ZI-Q Nucleo board, and I've encountered a perplexing issue with the M4 core during debugging. I have written a basic code to toggle two onboard LEDs, and while the code seems to work as expected, the M4 core gets stuck at "Waiting for Debugger Connection" during debugging. Strangely, I can still add breakpoints in the M4 code and pause the LED toggling successfully. The project files are attached. Please can someone help me with resolving the debugging issue for M4? If you find this post irrelevant feel free to delete it.Solutions I tried: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stm32h755-dual-core-debugging-problem/m-p/608795#M22058https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/how-can-i-remove-error-like-waiting-for-debugger-connection/td-p/250559/page/2 Snaps from my Cube IDE:

hello everyone. I've bought a board from WeAct Studio and I've successfully configured LVDC it to show a constant 16 bit image from Flash . My LCD is round and 480x480 RGB666. pixel clocks and everything is spot on. there is no image artifacts nor image shifts on the LCD.  I put an image to a web site and generated some buffer like const uint16_t image_data_480x480x16[230400] = {0x2345,,,,,, };I use the code like this : pLayerCfg.FBStartAdress = uint32_t) &image_data_480x480x16;and it shows beautifully, Before I say the problem,  I have a full framebuffer and a test code is like that. // Define LCD dimensions#define LCD_WIDTH 480#define LCD_HEIGHT 480#define FBSize LCD_WIDTH * LCD_HEIGHT#define MemSetFrameSize FBSize * sizeof(uint16_t) // Define framebufferuint16_t framebuffer[FBSize]; void clearFramebuffer() {// Set all pixels to black (color: 0x0000)for (int i = 0; i < FBSize; i++) { framebuffer[i] = 0x0000; }} void FillFramebuffer(

Hi,I want to learn how to write a proper sensor library. I am aware that every sensor has specific way to work but i need to understand coding details. For example should use only one struct for writing and reading registers or maybe seperate structs for each register field like result, configuration, low limit, high limit etc.. Should i use static variable for my configuration struct or should user can create its own variable and push it to my configuration function. I'm trying to figure out best solutions for these kind of problems. Is there any kind of standart or guide? I would be appreciate if you'll enlighten me.RegardsFurkan

Hello everybody! I am new on this forum, my name is Francesco and I am an STM32 MCU enthusiast :) I am currently using the STM32F042U6G6 in one of my project and I noticed that in the ISR vector table generated by CUBE-MX in startup_stm32f042g6u6ux.s file, the addresses where DMA ISR vectors (other than DMA1-channel1) should be mapped, are given to "0" adddress and commented as reserved. However, on the reference manual of the MCU they are clearly specified to be the DMA channels ISR vectors. Didn't find anything on the errata so I don't think they are reserved to workaround some MCU hardware issues. Does anyone know why they might have been set to null pointer?Thank you in advance,Francesco

Hello,I need to create an .elf file from a program that I didn't write but has already proven to work. I'm using an STM32L031K6T6 processor and I work with STMCubeIDE. I selected the processor correctly when creating the STM program. The HAL directory is correctly added to the Include path. When I try to debug the project, the error "fatal error: stm3210xx_hal_adc.h" appears seceral times. If I am not allowed to change the code, what settings can I still investigate which could be causing the error? Thanks in advance.

Please help how I can find this library.STM32-H7A3ZI-Q with latest STM32CubeIDE

I'm working on a project with an STM32U5 device (NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q) and I need to integrate cJSON, mbedTLS, lwIP, and FatFS to load and flash a configuration file cacert.pemonto the STM32 device. However, when I searched for mbedtls and lwip in the middleware and software packages, I couldn't find them. Can anyone provide suggestions or guidance on how to integrate mbedtls, lwIP, and FatFS into my STM32 project? Additionally, I'm curious if there's a cJSON library available for STM32.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeU5/tree/main/Projects/NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Qhttps://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeU5/tree/main/Middlewares/Third_Partyhttps://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/tree/master/Middlewares/Third_PartyI've noticed that the STM32H7 series has middleware third-party tools like lwIP and mbedTLS available, but these are not included in the STM32U5 series. Is there a specific reason why these middleware components a

I have a very simple program, but with my board, the debugger does not work properly. It does work on a Nucleo board though. Attached i have the signals, that i could measure on swd clk and swd dio ( brown clock / yellow dio). The are not aligned, but they have the same scale.Programming the target does work. Also now with 8000kHz and NRST connected, unlike in my other thread i had today. See the error here: https://youtu.be/4i2mYk8yuQM I found out, that the counter "DWT->CYCCNT" runs if you hit resume, but the programcode is not beeing resumed.I have now removed the loops, so that there is only a bunch of GPIOB->BSRR |= (uint32_t) GPIO_PIN_10;andGPIOB->BRR |= (uint32_t) GPIO_PIN_10;Also i just letting it run without debugging. It runs for about 771us, independend of how many instructions i put there, so there is a precise time issue. But the curves of the signal dont look as they should. See attached.I just tried it with a fresh generated code from cube mx. Now it ru

Hi,I am considering STM32U5 to interface up to 6 PDM microphones. I see that  with some STM32U5 version 2 SAIs interface are available. How many PDM microphone can I interface in this case? I found some specific documentation related to G4 (up to 6 microphones) and H7 series (up to 8 microphones) and I would like to be sure about U5.Best regards,
