hello,"I need some help on how to build an 8x8 relay matrix and how to control it with my STM32 board."

Hello, I'm using STM32H750VBTWhen I'm trying to use DMA for ADC data collection I'm experiencing MCU crush. Currently I know that issue happens when DMA fill half of defined buffer.I'm using STM32CubeIDE and builded in CubeMX. To precize issue I used debug By SWD STLink. to be able run code step by step I desabled continuous conversion mode. Attaching my Cube MX  ADC settings:And DMA settings After pre configured by CubeMX initiation I'm calling conversion by HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc2, (uint32_t*)testDMA, 20); And entering into while (1) loop where calling adc2 conversionHAL_ADC_Start(&hadc2);after every loop I checking testDMA[] bufferand DMA cycle by cycle fills testDMA as well up to [8], but on testDMA[9] debugger shows errors and don't able to cintinue code running (example on attached screen) I tried to change in HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc2, (uint32_t*)testDMA, 20); from 20 to any another value and issue happens on half of

Hi Community,I am currently facing an issue with my STM32H7B3I-DK board. The board was working fine, but suddenly, while I was uploading the code, the LD7 LED turned on indicating a low voltage fault. However, I am confident that the USB is providing the correct voltage.In an attempt to resolve the issue, I tried upgrading the firmware and used CubeProgrammer to reset the board with a shown voltage alternating between 0.21v, 0.35v and 0v. I also tried using the STLink utility, but I keep getting the “No STM32 Target found” error, and there is a Fail File existing in the mass storage when connecting the board containing "The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU".Additionally, I noticed that the WiFi LED (LD1) and the 5V Power LED (LD5) are weakly lit. I am unsure if this is related to the current issue or if it’s a separate problem.I have been searching for solutions online and tried several suggested methods, but none have worked so far. I would appreciate any help or

Hello, I new with embedded hardware. I have a bluepill (original) and STLINK-V2 debugger (a not original).And now, I want to change the my STLINK-V2 for a new one, which I can make debug, not only programming.I found the STLINK-V3MINIE. But I'm sure if can be used with bluepill, any one used this debugger with bluepill?. Any issue using it?.Thanks in advance/BlueIcaro

Hello,In this thread, I would like to clarify a point regarding how to read the RTC_CLR[ALRF] flag. I am using the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller and the STM32Cube Firmware (HAL) version 1.8.5. This flag indicates that the alarm has been activated.My intention is to determine the reason for the system reset, as I have configured two ways to exit the STANDBY mode before enabling it:1. Through the wakeup pin.2. Through the activation of the alarm.To achieve this, I am trying to read the RTC_CRL[ALRF] bit after returning from STANDBY mode and executing the functions HAL_Init(); and SystemClock_Config(); The result I obtain is somewhat curious. When the debugger is connected (Stlink V2), the flag is correctly activated after the system reset. However, when I disconnect the debugger and perform logging through UART, the bit never gets activated, even though it is the alarm that causes the system reset.I have created my own function to read the register following the instructions I´ve found o

Hi We use an STM32L452 with an external LSE (32.786 kHz) oscillator. We would like to use PC13 as a GPIO input with interrupt. In the errata sheet for the STM32L452 (ES0388 Rev9) I find the following entry:“2.2.12 PC13 signal transitions disturb LSEDescriptionThe PC13 port toggling disturbs the LSE clock.WorkaroundNone.“ What does “disturbs" mean for the LSE? What is the impact, if PC13 is used as a GPIO input with interrupt?

Last year it was in STM32CubeIDE under X-CUBE-MEMS1... now it's no longer there. The only board extensions are IKS01A3, IKS02A1 and IKS4A1. What about IKS01A2?Pietro

STM32F303VCTSTM32CubeIDE 1.14.1Simple program generation with IDE, main() while loop user code that toggles a GPIO.System hangs during HAL_Init() for the sysTick vector in: void HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(IRQn_Type IRQn){/* Check the parameters */assert_param(IS_NVIC_DEVICE_IRQ(IRQn));/* Enable interrupt */NVIC_EnableIRQ(IRQn);}Break the debugger and we are at an invalid address: 0x1FFFEf06.I am assuming there is something wrong with either the vector table location and/or the NVIC configuration, but the vector table at 0x08000000 and code/flash are identical to the code that runs on Discovery board.Both are using SWD. Discovery board is loaded/debugged via ST_LINK USB, custom board is loaded/debugged via STLINK-V3MINIE, USB to SWD.I have been through many threads regarding user vector table locations, offsets, etc but none have seemed to help. All looks good.Is there something that the ST-LINK on the Discovery board is doing during load/boot that the V3MINI isn't that could be affec

STM32F303 - Application running fine in CubeIDE debugger, custom board. It will not start as standalone, programmed with CubeIDE or CubeProgrammer with .elf or .hex.I have created an 'attach' run debug configuration, which can successfully display program execution and symbols when connected after CubeIDE starts the application.I have placed the following code in main() in order to pause execution at the top of main to hopefully attach and step through to identify the fault.However, when I attach after a cold/power reset, this is my trace, as if the system is not making it to main after cold start/no debugger.I see the following data in the flash at location 0x0000 0000 when read with CubeProgrammer:Shouldn't 0x04-0x07 contain the program start address of 0x0800 0000 + vector table size?Is the flash is read protected and I am looking at invalid data?

Hello all.  I have an ISR inside which I want to disable and enable interrupts. Reference manual says :  https://www.st.com/resource/en/reference_manual/rm0016-stm8s-series-and-stm8af-series-8bit-microcontrollers-stmicroelectronics.pdf Disabling the interrupts#asm PUSH CC POP ISR_CC(1) SIM #endasmEnabling the interrupts#asm PUSH ISR_CC(1) POP CC #endasmI want to achieve mutual exclusion. I have tried using sim and rim and it works for now.However the above method got me confused. What do I do for POP ISR_CC ? Please suggest me exact ways. I have found this inside a blog. Is it correct?uint8_t atomic_begin(void) __naked { __asm ; Copy CC value, put in A reg for return value, and disable all interrupts. push cc pop a sim ret __endasm; } void atomic_end(const uint8_t istate) { (void)istate; __asm ; Restore CC from arg value in A reg. push a pop cc __endasm; }

Hi all,seems that there is currently no download link for STM32CubeMonPwr or am i missing something ?

Hello, Using Windows 10 with WSL 2.I have an STM32MP157D-DK1 board and am following the ST guides to get this running. I'm trying to run bitbake to build a basic distribution image, but I keep getting this error. I tried googling but can't find anything relevant. This feels like a i setup something wrong issue ... but I went over the steps I'm supposed to follow and I can't see what I missed. Hello,Please forgive me for what is probably a newbie question.  What is required to implement an HDMI interface with the STM32F7 or H7 MCU series?  Is a DSI-to-HDMI bridge always required?  What is the max. supported display resolution?Thanks,Scott

Hi,I am writing C++ program on Visual Basic first, once it is compiled I will port it into STM32 Cube IDE environment. I wrote a simple for loop. When I run this code, I get very strange value for z out of the loop that is 1971940899.You can see the terminal output as below. when z is equal to 10, the loop will be broken out 5 when z is equal to 10, the loop will be broken out 6 when z is equal to 10, the loop will be broken out 7 when z is equal to 10, the loop will be broken out 8 when z is equal to 10, the loop will be broken out 9 when z is equal to 10, the loop will be broken out 1971940899 Could you please help me resolve ?Thanks.for(int z=5;z<15;z++) { cout<<"when z is equal to 10, the loop will be broken out\n"; if(z==10) { break; } cout<<z<<endl; } cout<<z<<endl;

Hi, I'm trying to check I3C protocol with NUCLEO-H503RB and IKS01A1.I just followed below link for I3C. https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Getting_started_with_I3CAnd I can see that the master transmit the data but there is no ACK from the slave.(I've attached the scope shot).I was trying to buy IKS01A3, but it was out of stock, so I just bought IKS01A1. Because it seems same IC. Is it okay?I've also tried below example from the github, but result is same. https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH5/tree/main/Projects/NUCLEO-H503RB/Examples/I3CPlease help me to find a way to check I3C.

Hi  I am trying to RTOS on my device STM32-H563ZI I get a hard fault when I hit the function osKernelStart(); in the main loop When I started debugging ,my code seems to get  hardfault after vStartFirstTask in function xPortStartScheduler() I am trying to toggle LED in the task  from this example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPrcpbKNSjU Thank You.

Ref: https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-stm8006.html#overviewI have downloaded the software above which is a companion to AN2659 but there are directories not mentioned in the application note.  Can anyone tell me what the RIDE and EWSTM8 directories are please?Thanks.

@Guillaume K, @Jocelyn RICARD Since my previous question on the same topic (see here) I have reviewed probably all the MCUboot/TF-M-based solutions available for ST MCUs. There are currently four options that I am aware of:TrustedFirmware-M (TF-M) using the latest MCUboot, implements well-documented PSA-API, actively developed and maintained by community.Regretfully, this solution appears to be no longer actively supported by ST, STM32U5xx HAL version is 1.0, so no support for new ST MCUs.ST's TFM, described in AN5447 and UM2851, still available as a part of the STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.4.0 package under /Projects/B-U585I-IOT02A/Applications/TFM folder, probably abandoned, removed from GitHub for this reason.Secure Boot and Secure Firmware Update (SBSFU), described in UM2262 and partially in AN5447, STM32U5G9 supported, based on relatively old TF-M 1.3 (current version is 2.0, version 2.1 to b

RTC3 of some newer STM32s introduce a RTC mixed mode, where both binary part (32-bit down-counting sub-seconds register SSR) and classic BCD calender (TR/DT) mode are operational.In my case I am using this for classic style BCD alarms together with binary mode timers used by the CubeMX generated LoRaWAN stack.This works perfectly fine until I try to set the BCD calender time part with HAL_RTC_SetTime.It turned out, that as soon as RTC->TR is written, RTC->SSR is reset to 0xFFFFFFFF. As all timers backed by the binary mode rely on some SSR timestamp, they fail.I tried backing up SSR and writing back after RTC->TR write, but it seems to be read-only.Am I missing something? If a mixed mode has been introduced, I doubt normal behaviour is that the BCD part cannot be set anymore without affecting the binary mode part.

Hi, I am trying to understand the difference between blocking/non-blocking rfal apis.  ReturnCode rfalNfcvPollerReadMultipleBlocks( uint8_t flags, const uint8_t* uid, uint8_t firstBlockNum, uint8_t numOfBlocks, uint8_t* rxBuf, uint16_t rxBufLen, uint16_t *rcvLen );  It seems to me that the above api is a blocking one. How can I achieve the same functionality in a non-blocking way ? The reason I am asking this is because it seems that this api is taking too much time to execute (Without the time required to perform I2C read). Is my understanding correct on the RFAL library sequence for the above api ?RFAL library request ST25R3916 for the requested amount of data.RFAL waits in a busy wait loop until interrupt pin changesOnce the interrupt pin changes, RFAL library performs read from ST25R3916.I am concerned about step 2 as it is a busy wait loop and other threads seem to be starving.

I did not find any solution of Bootloader for CAN2.0A or CAN2.0B with SMT32. Currently i am using below part no. MCU-'STM32G0B1CCT6' CAN IC-'ISO1044BD'
