Hi Team, We have our customized projector majorly focused on educational field purpose. Its a short through projector with 16:9 aspect ratio. We are planning to implement Auto keystone and Auto Focus using VL53L5CX TOF sensor. Do you have any driver support for this particular implementation.?? Any Knowledge article related to this implementation??     Thanks & Regards Deep_Bang

Hi,I have a question regarding the possibilities and best practises of the early wake interrupt generated by the window watchdog. Is it possible to use the EWI to refresh the watchdog? And if so, is it actually a good idea and reliable? To describe the reason why I am asking briefly:I receive data over UART in fixed intervals, which refreshes the watchdog under normal conditions. If no data is received after a certain time I assume the connection is faulty, set a failsafe/timeout flag and refresh the watchdog. This would be triggered by the EWI and should not happen under normal operating conditions, it is purely a failsafe measure.Technically no reset is necessary or even wanted in this case. I know that this should be realised with a normal timer interrupt, but I am using all of the timers for something else. I could probably make this work with the RTC or a capture compare interrupt from timer 1, but ideally I do not want to use the same timer for two different functionalities as the

Hi there, I am working on a project using the STM32H755 zi that has 1 USBC port, can we use the same port for uploading the code, UART Communication and powering the device instead of using ST-LINK? Or is there any way to use ST-LINK for communication? Thanks for any help.

Hello , I have STSPIN32F0251 Development Board. In that board schematic we have found PA0_B Label that is connected default to Pin No 12 (PA0) of MCU(STSPIN32F251) .we want to know the importance and reason of connecting it. also where in firmware code it is defined and used.same for PA1_B and PA2_B pins also.we are using keil IDE and Motor Control Workbench Generated Code with MCSDK 5.4.6 versionThanks

I am using stm32mp157d-dk1, I want to cast screen to host pc to control via VNC, please help me, I can use a similar method without VNC, please guide me

1. I tested to FOC using MDK 6.2.1    (Motors :  Custom Motor / Power Board : X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1 / Control Board : NUCLEO-G431RB)    It has been confirmed that it is working.(Hall Sensored FOC) 2. I want to change control Board from NUCLEO-G431RB to  NUCLEO-F103RB    I created JSON by looking at NUCLEO-F072RB.    But it is not working     "ERROR"    The hardware selected is not compliant with the selected algorithm. Please review your selections. How to change json file?

STM32F0 DISCO.map has been created but I cannot see infoIs there another tool to check this info ?

Hello, I'm using the STM32F469NiH6 to try and do a certain number of SPI transactions (let's say 12 bytes) at regular intervals without core intervention, using Timers and DMA. And I have a couple of questions concerning this (I have had a look into the RM, in particular the peripheral registers, but a second opinion would be useful in case I missed/misunderstood anything) Is there a way for any of the timers to enable/disable the SPI directly? Is it possible to use DMA (triggered by a PWM edge, for instance) to enable/disable a different peripheral (like SPI) by writing to its configuration register (setting the Enable bit) ? If there's any help, official examples, community forum threads, or pointers to the Reference Manual, that definitively answer my questions above, that would be greatly helpful! Thanks!

i setup the STM32L4A6RGTx ioc, and try to configure LSE, but can't becinfugred in Clock configuration page.it was set to grey.whether anybody knows the reason?CUBEIDE 1.13.2MX 6.9.2-RC4

As Mickledore is no longer supported (by yocto) when can we expect an updated yocto release from ST for the stm32mp1 series?

Hi team.I want to drive BLDC motor in 6-step method like below figure. Is there any sample code for this method? Slide Link

Hi all,I am trying to config the LTDC, after config and generating the code by cubeMx, I see some config like the below:   pLayerCfg.Alpha = 0; pLayerCfg.Alpha0 = 0; pLayerCfg.BlendingFactor1 = LTDC_BLENDING_FACTOR1_CA; pLayerCfg.BlendingFactor2 = LTDC_BLENDING_FACTOR2_CA;  My config is the same as below:And I have tried to change some items for exploring as below:I can easily understand that L1_Alpha controls the transparency of Layer1, but others seems not clear.I am confused about what these items mean. Can some document introduce me to how to calculate the RGB result? Thanks a lot.

I could cry... ("rrrr", the more I dive into latest STM MCUs - the more I get frustrated - LOL)The datasheet for STM32U5A5, LQFP64 package, tells me: there are PB15 as SAI2_SD_A and also PC12 as SAI2_SD_B.But the CubeMX does not let me configure these signals as SAI2: I need just one pin (one of them, preferred as PB15 = SAI2_SD_A, for a S/PDIF output). But:if I load and see the features of this STM32U5A5, LQFP64 package in CubeMX:it tells me just SAI = 1- it is actually not true: the datasheet shows me a complete signal set "possibility" for SAI2 as I2S!- SAI2_A and SAI2_B are complete on the STM32U5A, even for this package!if I try to configure pins, e.g. PB15 as SAI2_SD_A, or PC12 = SAI2_SD_B:the SAI2 features for these pins are not there (not in list) - using CubeMXIs this a "bug" in the CubeMX tool? (I hope so!)Or:based on datasheet - still possible to use SAI2 and one pin as SAI2_SD_A or SAI2_SD_B as a S/PDIF output? How to generate code for SAI2_SD_x as S/PDIF output? (assuming, c

I have a board using STM32F103CBT6 chip.  After flashing the board once (through CubeIDE v1.14.0 with ST-Link v2) I cannot flash it again and keep getting the message "No target found".  Here's a snapshot of the chip circuit:  When I power up the board it flashes an LED that I programmed so I know the initial programming worked.  But I can't connect again. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am using STM32F407G.I am attaching a main.c (that use DMA) that reads simultaneously the voltage coming from 3 potentiometers connected to 3 channels of ADC.In the code, if you try to change "volatile uint16_t adc_value[3]" to "volatile uint32_t adc_value[3]" this is what happens:Huge values (above the upper limit 2^n with n = num bits) are displayed.I don't understand why this happens."adc_value" is the number read by the ADC while "adc_CH1_value_volt" is converted to volt (of the 1° channel)

void BSP_SPI_Write(uint8_t ValueL, uint8_t ValueR) { char txData[2]; char rxData[2]; txData[0] = 0b10101011; txData[1] = (uint8_t *)&ValueL; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_PIN_2, GPIO_PIN_RESET); TIM6delay_us(10); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, (uint8_t *)&txData, 2, HAL_MAX_DELAY); TIM6delay_us(10); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_PIN_2, GPIO_PIN_SET); TIM6delay_ms(100); txData[0] = 0b10110011; txData[1] = (uint8_t *)&ValueR; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_PIN_2, GPIO_PIN_RESET); TIM6delay_us(10); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, (uint8_t *)&txData, 2, HAL_MAX_DELAY); // <<< this hang the program TIM6delay_us(10); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_PIN_2, GPIO_PIN_SET); }

Hello,I am using the STM32 USBPD Library in a DRP battery bank application, and want to reduce idle power consumption. In the documentation and source files, there is mention of a usbpd_lowpower.h file but I cannot find this file anywhere. There is also a reference to this file in UM2785.Any idea where I might find this file? Thanks,Nate

Hello, I am new to TouchGFX. I am developping an UI forSTM32F746G-DISCOVERY board. The goal of my UI is that the user can choose some value of variables and then send it to an other device using CAN bus. All the graphical part is working well, I use three screens and model to acces the variables from all the screens. However, when I want to use the CAN, I face some issues. CAN driver have been made by my teamworker. I wanted to include the CAN driver file to the Model.cpp but I have includes errors. So I tried to include the stm32f7xx_hal_can.h provided by the project but it doesn't work.Any idea for including the CAN driver? Maybe I should not include it in the main.cpp.Thank youLucasCompilation error message:Converting imagesCompiling gui/src/model/Model.cppIn file included from gui/src/model/../../../../Drivers/STM32F7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/stm32f7xx_hal_can.h:45:0,                from gui/src/model/Model.cpp

From what I understand, a STM32L433RCT3 MCU powered by VBAT pin will shutdown except for RTC and backup registers.1. I'm wondering if the RTC Alarms can trigger during the VBAT period?2. Will any code execute from the RTC Alarm interrupt during VBAT? Will the interrupt run when VDD is reapplied to the system?

Hello everyone, iam using nucleo-U575ZI-Q board and trying to do Flash programming. I want to write the data in to the flash and read the data from the flash. I've written the code but something is going wrong with it. Could someone please help me in finishing my task. I will attach my code below.  Thank you

Hello everyone,After several hours of searching, I haven't found a working example of an electronic schematic for interfacing a USB OTG port with an STM32 F7.Furthermore, the documentation provided "AN4869 Rev6" by ST is not clear enough to produce a schematic. With the help of various links and documents I have tried to produce a schematic:- https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/problem-with-usb-otg-in-host-mode-no-host-user-class-active/td-p/572407 - https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/problem-with-usb-otg-fs-device/td-p/622824 - NUCLEO-144pins_Altium_Schematics-Layout : MB1137.pdf : page 4- https://controllerstech.com/usb-cdc-device-and-host-in-stm32/ - AN4869 Rev6The basis comes from AN4869 page 16:My schematic (2 PCBs linked by a small MOLEX type cable in blue):In general I would like to know if this schematic is functional and correct.More precisely:- C24 = 4.7uF but it says "MAX". Is it more appropriate to use 1uF?- Certain example adds a 1.5k

If I am trying to use INT1 to indicate a "data-ready" event, does that result in a Low to High transition on the INT1 pin? Or a High to Low transition on the INT1 pin?  Does the line stay high indefinitely, until the data is read? What happens when new data overwrites the old data? Does the INT1 line change state, and then back again?

Dear all, I need to know : 1.MTBF(Mean time between failure)2.Longevity.3.Shelf life or storage life. For component: STM32F446RET6I already try a online support, but the site show me “we can’t save this record ”.Can anybody help me?

I have set up the FDCAN and confirmed that sending single messages works. However, I cannot get the FIFO to work at all - if I queue two messages at the same time, only the first appears on the wire. It is fine if I add a 1ms delay before sending the second message. I guess this works because the first message is long gone rather than still active. Rather than dig into the HAL code, I created an external queue to feed messages in one at a time. The idea is to call HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ() to set up the next message when I get a TX interrupt. I can receive the FDCAN_IT_TX_FIFO_EMPTY interrupt which calls TxFifoEmptyCallback(). Calling HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ() from here has the same problem - the second message is not sent. I have also tried to receive the FDCAN_IT_TX_COMPLETE interrupt but have been completely unable to get the implementation to call TxBufferCompleteCallback(). My interrupt activation code is    &

Hi everyone,I am currently working on a PCB design using a Bluenrg-332ac chip. The official PCB design guideline has a resistor marked "X" as shown on the left of the figure below. But I saw the resistor soldered on the eval board. Can anyone explain whether we keep the resistor or not in the PCB design?Reference files: AN5526  STEVAL-IDB012V1
