We are using STM32H743BIT6 microcontroller in our project. Which is the development board that we need to buy and use for this microcontroller for prototyping and development purpose? Can we use STM32H753I-EVAL2?

Hello.I am developing a development board (to sell to customers eventually), for which I want to have my own flashing dongle. Now, I have posted in another thread asking about the software that is in the ST-Link devices, and the response I got is that it's not available for the public. But so the SWD protocol is an open standard if I understand things correctly, developed by ARM. Is the "protocol" for flashing the STM32 chips open so that I can implement my own SWD flasher, given the SWD protocol, my binary file and the specifications on how STM32 chips are flashed with SWD?Regards,Daniel

Hello, I have a question about the internal antenna of the STM32WB55CGU6.First of all, does it have the internal antenna? And if so, what is the range of it? Thanks

Hey,I working on a project with the following goal: setup one central coordinator and let multiple sleepy end devices send sensor data periodically. For development I am trying to alter the code of the Zigbee_TempMeas_Client_Router/Zigbee_TempMeas_Server_Coord example projects, such that sending long strings is possible. The setup is the following:custom cluster with one reportable long string attributestatic const struct ZbZclAttrT ZclTemp_AttrList[] = {{MY_ZCL_DEV_LS, ZCL_DATATYPE_STRING_LONG_CHARACTER,ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_REPORTABLE|ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_WRITABLE,512, // custom sizeNULL, // callback{0, 0}, //no value range{1, 10}}};sleepy end devices run the servercoordinator runs the client and sends APP_ZIGBEE_Read_Temp_Attribute() request to the sleepy end devicesThe custom attribute is changed between each call of APP_ZIGBEE_Temp_Meas_Read_cb(). APP_ZIGBEE_Temp_Meas_Read_cb() is unchanged with exeption of the attribute and readReq.dst.nwkAddr = 0xFFFF;I configure the reporting similarily to the

Hello everyone,I am trying to control the GPO interrupt of ST25DV16 using X-CUBE-NFC04. I know that I should change the GPO register. As I want to use GPO_RFWRITE and GPO_ENABLE so the register value should be 0xC0. But when I want to use function CUSTOM_NFCTAG_WriteRegister, it doesn't work. I guess another function, CUSTOM_NFCTAG_ConfigIT, can also control the GPO interruption, but it doesn't work as well(these functions never return NFCTAG_OK). I am sure that I can read UID successfully and I can receive GPO interrupt(at default setting) successfully. The following are some of my codes: if(CUSTOM_NFCTAG_Init("ST25DV16")!=HAL_OK) {Error_Handler();}else{CUSTOM_GPO_Init();if(CUSTOM_NFCTAG_WriteRegister("ST25DV16", 0xC0, 0x0000, 1) == NFCTAG_OK){HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2,"writereg Success", strlen("writereg Success"), 0xFFFF); }if(CUSTOM_NFCTAG_ConfigIT("ST25DV16", ST25DV_GPO_ENABLE_MASK | ST25DV_GPO_RFWRITE_MASK)==NFCTAG_OK){HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2,"IT Suc

Hello,I usually make a code based on the timer callback function to handle multiple tasks. However, I don't know why functions like printf in the systick callback function don't work at all if the flag switching is in the same function. It works If I put the same code in the main loop, but not in the callback function. These kinds of problems sometimes happen with other functions, not only with printf.I kindly wonder which point makes these results from the controller. For example (flag is a global variable with 0 initial value), void HAL_SYSTICK_Callback(void){if(flag == 0){printf("Check\r\n");}}==> This gives tons of UART messages through printf func. void HAL_SYSTICK_Callback(void){if(flag == 0){flag = 1;printf("Check\r\n");}} ==> This never give any UART messages. If it is done in the main function, int main(void){... init functions ...while(1){if(flag == 0){flag = 1;printf("Check\r\n");}}==> This correctly gives UART message only once.&nbs

so, i have been using nano edge ai since a long time. but now i cannot log the signals when i am trying to. will they be any reason for that. please, solve this.

I want to test the SPC5-FLASHER program. When installing the program, you must register the serial number. How can I get a serial number assigned?Should I send the saved information by e-mail after recording the serial number request information during the installation process? Please tell me in detail how to register the serial number.

Hi Team,Am designing a BLE module using STM32WB55CEU6 for an IoT audio streaming project. Can somebody please help me in verifying the RF portion of schematics and layout. We are using an IPEX connector on board for BLE antenna and the signal is connected as below from MCU to antenna connector. Is it fine? Also, I have referred layout design for dev board using the STM32WBB55 MCU and I found that for RF section there is no reference given in immediate layer ie: layer 2 for signal routed in layer 1. Whereas GND plane if given under RF section in layer 3 & 4. Even we are using a 4-Layer stack up so is it mandatory to follow same.?Best Regards,Vyshnav Krishnan

The P-NUCLEO-IHM03 with type selected as "FOC" has the firmware pre-installed. After pushing Blue start/stop button, the motor starts but fails to continue. In Motor pilot, it is showing that a fault is thrown (startup failure) and the motor shuts down. The P-NUCLEO-IHM03 Black button needs to be pressed to clear the fault, but the motor still does not continue to run upon Blue button start. How to read/write PWM Register in P-NUCLEO-IHM03 - Kit ? It is associated with TIM1 having 4 channels. My motor is running for few seconds and then stop (which by default according to the documentation should be running continuously), that's why I am trying to figure out if PWM Registers are storing current values. In debug mode, SFRs section, I found TIM1, but it has several components, which one corresponds to storing current value? Please suggest. Thanks in Advance!

HiI get this error trying to install the X-CUBE-SPN1 extension for X-NUCLEO-IHM01A1 in STM32CubeIDE.I have downloaded the latest version of the X-CUBE-SPN1 extension and version 1.13 and 1.15.1 of the IDE.I get this error:Anyone has faced this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I create a new project with STM32CubeIde 1.15.1 (but same with 1.10.1)I add SDRAM 1 - BANK 1When I debug this project, after HAL_SDRAM_Init function in MX_FMC_Init(), I can wath the memory in MEMORY BROWSER at address 0x60000000.But on reference manual, SDRAM should be at 0xC0000000.I select Default mapping in Bank Mapping : If I select bank swapped, I have my datas at 0xC0000000.Is it a bug of STM32CubeIDE ?

Hello, I need your kindly support for this application.I would like to do a code for the STM32WB5MM-DK where the Bluetooth have a service with the following characteristics:ServiceCharacteristic 1: Read and Notify a random number from 0 to 100 (later will be a resistive sensor, so an adc will be later implemented)Characteristic 2: Write from the phone a value that the board will later requiredWith the value from Characteristic 2, control a GPIO. In this case, I have made several project but I do not end to comprehend yet the whole STM32CubeMx program. So far, I know the following aci_gatt_update_char_value() /* Updates the value */But where is the code that I need to put the user function? Thanks in advance for the support

Hi,I know the question has been asked before, and there is some information (to some extent) on the internet, though I cannot seem to make it happen. My question is:How can I use print() for debugging purpose? I have an UART peripheral up and running fine. I have a syscalls.c file that has a _write() function defined:__attribute__((weak)) int _write(int file, char *ptr, int len) { int DataIdx;   for (DataIdx = 0; DataIdx < len; DataIdx++) { __io_putchar(*ptr++); } return len; }So to my understanding, I should have the UART transmit implementation inside my _write function. So the modified _write function would look like this:__attribute__((weak)) int _write(int file, char *ptr, int len) { int DataIdx;   for (DataIdx = 0; DataIdx < len; DataIdx++) { // __io_putchar(*ptr++); while (!LL_USART_IsActiveFlag_TXE(USART2)) {} LL_USART_TransmitData8(USART2, ptr[DataIdx]); } return len; }So when using printf("Hello, world");somewhere in my code, I would expect my

Hello there,I want to recognize the digital and character written by hand with STM32F429BI.I think there must be split into the following steps:1. user input(write something in the screen by finger); (what widget I can use?)2. transfer the screen pixel data to MCU from touchGFX; (How to get the partial pixel data in certain areas?)3. MCU recognizes the content with some lib; (Can some Lib be used from ST?)4. MCU sends the result to the screen for display; (I know how to do this only :face_with_tears_of_joy:)Any advice and links are expected. Thanks for your help.

Hello there!I am trying to use some STM32F103RB Nucleoboards and some MCP2551 chips to make a CAN-bus. I got this problem where I can make it work in loop-back mode, but I cannot send from one board, to another one. I know the Circuit is stable and correctly weird, so I have deduced that it must be a problem with the code. I've provided a ZIP-file with the code that my group and I've made, and also some pictures of the setup in case you can spot anything wrong that I could not. We are somewhat sure that making a CAN-bus with STM32F103RB is impossible, but if any of you know what we're doing wrong, or if we are correct. The code can be found in this DropBoxLink: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/125mbvictjg6wwqbqnetw/CAN_BUS_KODE_BILLEDER_GRUPPE18.zip?rlkey=1z9k88380m35oaivu0i774j30&dl=0 Reciver code:/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body **********************

Hello Support Team, I am trying to use a power bank to supply power to my STM32H743ZI2 board. I have made a modification to the jumper settings: I changed the connection of JP2 from pins 1-2 to pins 7-8 as suggested for power bank usage. However, I am encountering an issue where the LD4 LED is blinking intermittently. Could you please provide guidance on the following points: Is the jumper setting adjustment from JP2 pins 1-2 to 7-8 correct for power bank usage? What does the intermittent blinking of the LD4 LED signify? Are there any additional configurations or checks required to ensure stable operation with a power bank? Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support. Best regards, Wolf Sripe Additional Information: Board: STM32H743ZI2 Power Source: Power Bank Jumper Configuration: JP2 changed from pins 1-2 to 7-8 Issue: LD4 LED blinking intermittently Thank you for addressing this matter at your earliest convenience.

Hello everyone,I successfully used USART1 and USART3 in my application. However, when trying to use USART4, Rx is working but not Tx. The idle signal stays at 0V all the time. Here is what I already check:UART initstatic void MX_USART4_UART_Init(void) { huart4.Instance = USART4; huart4.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart4.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart4.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart4.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; huart4.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; huart4.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE; huart4.Init.OverSampling = UART_OVERSAMPLING_16; huart4.Init.OneBitSampling = UART_ONE_BIT_SAMPLE_DISABLE; huart4.Init.ClockPrescaler = UART_PRESCALER_DIV1; huart4.AdvancedInit.AdvFeatureInit = UART_ADVFEATURE_NO_INIT; if (HAL_UART_Init(&huart4) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } }Clock and GPIO init __HAL_RCC_USART4_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); /**USART4 GPIO Configuration PA0 ------> USART4_TX PA1 ------> USART4_RX */ GPIO_InitSt

Hi... Greetings... We're planning to use STM32H503 MCU in our application. To brief about our application, we've a parallel RTC IC which has gone EOL. This RTC receives commands from the motherboard MCU. So, we're mimicking the RTC's functionality using a microcontroller and a serial RTC in a castellation PCB (smallest form factor). With the microcontroller's GPIO, we're trying to achieve parallel interface. Attached the timing diagram in this thread. Since it's a time critical application, we are preferring to go with a high speed MCU. The flow of timing diagram goes like this... When CS0 becomes low, the address is present in the address bus (4 bit). When CS0 goes low, within min. 50ns, Read / Write pin goes low. During read operation, the data corresponding to the address needs to be placed in data bus (4 bits of data) within 120ns max. During write operation, the data needs to be read from the data bus within 90ns. Considering the crucial timing, we are checking the feasibility

Hello everyone,Recently I have been learning to create and write data to a text file in a flash drive that is connected to the STM32F407G Discovery board via USB_OTG_FS. Now I want to share the text file in the Flash drive to a mobile device via bluetooth. How Can I do it ?
