Hello, I want to communicate with a PC using FDCAN with the Nucleo-H743ZI2 development board. According to the information I found,the STM32 board requires a transceiver for CAN communication,and since the PC does not have a CAN port, a CAN to USB interface is necessary. Could you recommend suitable transceiver and CAN to USB interface products for use with this board? Thank you.

Hi. I am having issues with my TouchGFX application freezing since the semaphore blocking my UI thread is never returned. The screen freezes after running for roughly 10 minutes, sometimes earlier, sometimes after longer times. Based on what I have read in other posts, it could be DMA2D related (?). I am running TouchGFX 4.22 on a custom board using a STM32H750 with DMA2D/ChormeART enabled. Assets are stored in external flash, single framebuffer in SDRAM. System is running FreeRTOS. 480x272 screen running using LTDC.Not really sure how to tackle this issue or how to solve it. Here is what I have tried so far (without any success)I have tried playing around with the DMA2D interrupt priority, but the issue still remains the regardless of the priority is 5, 9 or 15. This seemed to have some effect here.I have tried guarding the endFrame() function as suggested here. I added this solution in TouchGFXGeneratedHAL::endFrame().I tried changing osSemaphoreWait(frame_buffer_sem,

Hello, I create new STM32 project for STM32MP131AAG3 with baremetal. I encounter the following errors when to build the codes of DMA generated by STM32CubeMX.undefined reference to `HAL_NVIC_SetPriority'undefined reference to `HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ'static void MX_DMA_Init(void){  /* DMA controller clock enable */  __HAL_RCC_DMAMUX1_CLK_ENABLE();  __HAL_RCC_DMA2_CLK_ENABLE();  /* DMA interrupt init */  /* DMA2_Stream1_IRQn interrupt configuration */  HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(DMA2_Stream1_IRQn, 0, 0);  HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(DMA2_Stream1_IRQn);}I fixed the code as follows.static void MX_DMA_Init(void){  /* DMA controller clock enable */  __HAL_RCC_DMAMUX1_CLK_ENABLE();  __HAL_RCC_DMA2_CLK_ENABLE();  /* DMA interrupt init */  /* DMA2_Stream1_IRQn interrupt configuration */  IRQ_SetPriority(DMA2_Stream1_IRQn, 0);  IRQ_Enable(DMA2_Stream1_IRQn);}Is this bug? Or is there possibility that I took mistake MX settings or else?I

i am using STM3210e-eval board which has stm32f103zgt6 MCU no i am just sending data over uart to my pc the uart is interfaced with rs232 port so for the looking at the schematics i have connected it's tx and rx to ft232rl's rx and tx respectively and taken the vcc and gnd from the board to the module i have also check the ioc file and it has been set properly asynchronous  mode with 1 stop bit and none parity bit i have also double check the baud rate but i recieve something else on putty now the problem isn't in putty because i checked the data directly over oscilloscope directly from tx pin of mcu and it shows the exact same data as was shown on putty so i guess the mcu is some how converting my data into something else and then sending also it is not random on checking from for all the integers i found out that starting from 1 for all the odd numbers if sent 1 it shows 127 ascii value character and for next odd it decrements to 126 and so on and now for even number it stars at

I'm using H753 which has hw crypto, and was hoping to improve the sbsfu execution time (e.g. time to validate FW header at start tup) by enabling hw crypto. However HAL_CRYP_MODULE_ENABLED doesn't do anything. I looked through the integration guide and starter doc for the sbsfu, the only place talking about hardware decryption is 7.2 in an5056, "implementing a hardware decryption" by "Select STM32 devices integrating cryptographic hardware IP", but no detail guide was provided.Is it possible to enable sbsfu to use hardware crypto acceleration? Or that will require a major customization effort in the SECore?

Hi, We have a custom board based on the STM32MP151C CPU and we found that after migration to stm32mpu-ecosystem-v4 (linux-stm32mp 5.15) provided by the meta-st-stm32mp yocto layer (langdale) there are some errors during MMC writing procedure:[ 3358.815661] blk_update_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 1199146 op 0x1:(WRITE) flags 0x800 phys_seg 1 prio class 0 [ 3358.815720] EXT4-fs warning (device mmcblk0p12): ext4_end_bio:342: I/O error 10 writing to inode 229382 starting block 599574) [ 3358.815754] Buffer I/O error on device mmcblk0p12, logical block 15893We observe the same behavior on all of our boards, so we have eliminated MMC corruption. The fsck.ext4 doesn't help and the errors still occur.In the previous ecosystem based on linux-stm32mp 5.10 everything was fine and we've never noticed any problems with MMC.Have you faced such an error and know any solution for it? How should we proceed with it?Thank you in advance

Hello,I may have a misunderstanding about Dual-Flash programming, so my question might seem strange.In Dual-Flash mode, does the write speed double?If so, I think the following code cannot achieve double the write speed in Dual-Flash mode. (stm32h7xx_hal_qspi.c)What are your thoughts on this?   /** * @brief Transmit an amount of data in blocking mode. * hqspi QSPI handle * pData pointer to data buffer * Timeout Timeout duration * @note This function is used only in Indirect Write Mode * @retval HAL status */ HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_QSPI_Transmit(QSPI_HandleTypeDef *hqspi, uint8_t *pData, uint32_t Timeout) { HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_OK; uint32_t tickstart = HAL_GetTick(); __IO uint32_t *data_reg = &hqspi->Instance->DR; /* Process locked */ __HAL_LOCK(hqspi); if(hqspi->State == HAL_QSPI_STATE_READY) { hqspi->ErrorCode = HAL_QSPI_ERROR_NONE; if(pData != NULL ) { /* Update state */ hqspi->State = HAL_QSPI_STATE_BUSY_INDIRECT_TX;

Hi everyone.I'm trying to use a NUCLEO-F401RE, a X-NUCLEO-IKS02A1, and a STEVAL-MKI197v1 and the following software: v3.2.0.4544 AlgoBuilder, v1.25.1.11665 Unicleo-GUI, v1.15.0 STM32CubeIDE, v6.11.0 STM32CubeMX and the X-CUBE-ALGOBUILD and x-CUBE-MEMS1 software packages (everything running on windows 11). First I didnt use AlgoBuiderI selected every sensor each board has on the x-cube-mems1 (package) and build it using CubeIDE (no error or warnings), but the Unicleo-GUI shows only the X-NUCLEO sensors, being unable to switch between (for example) the different Gyr/Acc sensors.If i dont select the board extension IKS02A1 CubeIDE gives no trouble (0 error and warnings) but the Unicleo-GUI doesnt recognice my board and i get stuck here:(note: If i select to list all coms it appears, but shows nothing and cannot start) When I try to create a custom firmware for AlgoBuilder, if I select the Algo custom aplication option without the MEMS IKS board extension. I copy the project

How to use in main.c the user button of B-G431B-ESC1 board ?I want to togle the position each time I press (amd release) the button.Waiting for target position completed and than I can press the button again.I have selected the PC10 pin in MXCube that originate this code in main.c: /*Configure GPIO pin : PC10 */GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_10;GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_INPUT;GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL;HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOC, &GPIO_InitStruct); in main I write this code, but nothing happen.Where is the problem ? if ( GPIO_PIN_10 == 0 ){while (GPIO_PIN_10 == 0){}Pos = MC_GetCurrentPosition1();if ( Pos == 0.0 )Pos = 314.159;elsePos = 0.0;MC_ProgramPositionCommandMotor1(Pos,1.5);while ( MC_GetCurrentPosition1() != Pos ){}}

I have a board that programs without error but fails to run code most of the time. In the failing state, I can use CubeProgrammer and ST-link to view registers after programming and activate peripherals that would have been enabled by code. I can see these peripherals run as they should, and the software shows the CPU running, but again…no code executes.After repeated plugging\unplugging\re-programming I can randomly see it in a state where it executes code as it should but its not common. I also see hardware reset commands randomly make run code as well, but also not common.Are there registers I can read that will give me clues as to why code never runs or runs and hangs?

Hello All,  I am planning to port FatFs on the IS25LP064A flash drive to communicate with my STM32H573ii over SPI. The FreeRTOS is running on STM32H573ii.According to the IS25LP064A datasheet, the maximum page size is 256 bytes. The total size of the flash drive is 8 Mbyte.1] Could you help me set the following parameters in FatFs?GET_SECTOR_COUNT = 32768 (8 Mbyte / 256 bytes)GET_SECTOR_SIZE = 256Do I need to set the value of FF_MIN_SS since my maximum page size is 256 bytes?FF_MIN_SS = 2562] As per the datasheet, the erase block size is 4 Kbyte.GET_BLOCK_SIZE = 16 (4 Kbyte / 256 bytes)So Could you help me to find out the values of above parameters? Are they correct?Thanks in advance.

I cannot login in the STM32CubeIDE V1.15.1, it keeps falling, I have a plain private internet connection without any additional firewall than the one there is on my computer. I do not use vpn.Everything else Works fine on the interneti have also tried to disable my firewall, still no luck, Have also tried hotspot on my phone, no differenceI have tried all three network settings under the preferences.I can login in the browser, but I cannot download the software for reinstall, everytime it keeps prompting me for login into stm again, even that I already is logged in.I have tried to restart my computer several time.On my computer at my workspace it works at it should.

Hello,I would like to evaluate the STM32H753XI MCU and I suppose the right board for that is the STM32H753I-EVAL2. Since I am completely new to STM MCUs and MPUs, I would like to know a little about it:- Is it sufficient to have the board itself and STM32CubeH7 to run and debug applications?- Is it suitable for bare-metal software development?Thanks,Ricardo

How can I find the CE Certificate for the VL53L0X?

Hello,I have a board with an ST component in SMB housing (a diode?) marked BL6, next line GP 733. What part number could this be?

I'm trying to get the internal temperature sensor working on a custom board with an STM32L432KC. VDDA is 2.5V and is stable. The raw readings I'm getting are about 200 counts higher than I would expect on a 12bit config. The reading doesn't change based on temperature, usually I can see a 5 degree change if I shoot compressed air at the chip. I'm guessing I'm somehow reading a different ADC channel but I'm not exactly sure how to debug that. Attached are the register values after boot up.

Hi, I am currently working on a Embedded software application which require multiple SPI, UART peripherals/ pinouts(Min 2). I have used SDP-K1 (MCU- STM32F469) Eval board for my previous project which is suitable for my current project as well except that I need multiple pinouts. Is there any Eval board/Development board suitable for my Use case. Please help me out

After some period of approximately 2 years my login is rejected as having incorrect username or password. Careful reentry is not successful, I keep getting the same rejection. I conclude that passwords expire after some time.If that is true, why not a message " Your password has expired. Please create a new password" to avoid fruitless attempts to reenter the password that worked the day before?Or correct me if I have the wrong assessment of the problem.

I am using 3 Channels to generate 6 pwm using complementary pwm by timer 1. I want to release outputs of CH1 and CH1N when modulation is low (ie. PWM near 50%), and do the same for other channels (shifted 120degrees in time).I try playing with register CCER :TIM1->CCER &= TIM1_OC1_DISABLE;  // using  #define TIM1_OC1_DISABLE ((uint16_t)0xFFFE)and later :TIM1->CCER |= TIM1_OC1_ENABLE;   // using #define TIM1_OC1_ENABLE ((uint16_t)0x0001)Disabling works fine, but re-enabling is done with approx 10ms delay for some reasons when I need a few tens of us max delay.. (PWM is at 30kHz, center aligned)..Using MOE bits works fine, but does skip outputs on all channels simultaneously.Any idea ? Thks, Pierre

HelloI working with spc560p and I send or receive with SPI very good and had no problem, but if I want to send or receive more than 4 bytes (32bits) in one message (one chip select), what should I do? I used this format for send and receive: spi_lld_start(&SPID2, &spi_config_Achip);spi_lld_exchange(&SPID2, 4, txbuf, rxbuf);spi_lld_stop(&SPID2); Is there any sample in spc5studio wizard?

Hello, I checked the L9961 datasheet for information on the cell voltage protection function, but couldn't find the operating voltage.  Other products usually provide Over Voltage Protection (OVP) for cells, but in the case of L9961, only the cell measurement range is mentioned.  Could you clarify if voltage limitation needs to be set solely through I2C communication between the BMS IC and MCU chips?

I am testing CORDIC module on STM32H723ZG. The results from CORDIC_FUNCTION_COSINE calculation are consistently negative where they should be positive and vice versa. This holds for 32BIT calculations and for 16BIT as well. Cannot find why this is taking place. The code and example results below.Has anybody seen this behavior?For example: The testing part of the code for 32Bit case looks like this: CORDIC_Config_32BIT(sConfig);printf("***** CORDIC RESULT 32BIT ***** \n");for (int i = 0; i < 360; i+=1){q31_angles[i] = f32_to_q31(i / 360.0) << 1; // angle in rad divided by pi,f32_angles[i] = q31_to_f32(q31_angles[i]);printf("%lf - %ld - %lf \n", i*2/360.0, q31_angles[i], f32_angles[i]);}for (int ii = 0; ii < 360; ii+=20){CORDIC->WDATA = q31_angles[ii];CORDIC->WDATA = ((int32_t)0x80000000);tt1 = (int32_t)CORDIC->RDATA;tt2 = (int32_t)CORDIC->RDATA;cor_cos = q31_to_f32(tt1);cor_sin = q31_to_f32(tt2);printf("%16ld - %16.3lf - %16ld - %16ld - %16.3l

Hello, I am using the STM32f107vct6 which has 256kbyte flash memory size. However, after connecting to MCU via st-link V2 and ST-link utility it shows me just a few pages of my flash memory size and the wrong flash memory size.what is my mistake?

Hello, I have implemented a high-speed USART @921600 baud rate with STM32f10x @72Mhz. I want to send 3000 Bytes to a slave MCU.In slave MCU, I used USART DMA to read MSG[300]byte data collect the data, and copy them into a larger array(Data[3000]).My problem is that when the first 300 bytes come from the USART and a DMA interrupt occurs, I don't have enough time to copy MSG[300] bytes to my larger array Data[3000] and if I use a memory-to-memory DMA, I am worried about the variable changing when the incoming the second-300byte packet changes the previous values of MSG variable. what is you idea?

Hey,im developing a zigbee sleepy end device. The device is supposed to periodically send sensor values (max length of 512bytes) read via I2C to the coordinator using the custom cluster. I use the HW_TS to trigger the sensor readings and sending the message. After a few messages (~8-20) the sleepy end device messages start to not arrive in time or at all and out of order, ending with the end device hanging up and being removed from the network by the coordinator.What I have tried:Disabling sleepy mode -> resolves the issue, but not acceptable due to energy consumptionUsing the SE Messaging Cluster with burst messages -> no changeUsing fastPolling -> as expected, no changePlaying around with interrupt priorities, especially sysTick Timer set to highest prioity. My current setup:I would appreciate any advice on what might cause this issue or what else I could try to avoid wrongly timed/garbled messages from the SEDs!Best regards
