Hi all,Based on the tutorials, I am trying to create an AI lib using NanoEdgeAI.The lib seems created successfully, see attachment.But when I add it to the MDK project and compiler it, some errors like below is present:When I remove the libneai.a, the project can be compiler normally.Could you tell me what I was wrong?Thanks.

I'm using the NUCLEO board NUH723 to develop a project and I need to understand better how the HAL_SAI_Transmit_IT works. In my code I use the HAL_SAI_Transmit_IT to send data to the SAI1 interface --> 48KHz, stereo,32bit: I have to send two buffer of 128 word (Arxbuff31 and Brxbuff31, stereo,32bits),   uint8_t DAC_Buffer[BUFFER_SIZE]; // __attribute__ ((aligned (4))); uint8_t ADC_Buffer[BUFFER_SIZE]; // __attribute__ ((aligned (4))); int32_t *p31; q31_t Arxbuff31[128],Brxbuff31[128];     p31=(q31_t *)DAC_Buffer; for(x=0;x<128;x++){ *p31++=Arxbuff31[x]; *p31++=Brxbuff31[x]; } ---- ---- while(!RxDataReady); status=HAL_SAI_Transmit_IT(&hsai_BlockA1,DAC_Buffer,256); ---- RxDataReady=0; ---- In what way the data must be stored in the output buffer (DAC_Buffer) for both the channels ? (I suppose Left4bytes,Right4bytes,Left4bytes,....) The "size" parameter has to set to the 2*128 ?   Thank you, Luigi

Hi, I had successfully created a project using the AN5464 application note using the following hardware: NUCLEO-F303REX-NUCLEO-IHM08M1I have create the project using MotorControl Workbench 5.4.4 and managed to achieve rotation on the motor, however this doesn't seem to be a reliable code, it works for a while and then suddenly stops working, I have debugged the code and I have realised that it never goes beyond the "while(MC_GetAlignmentStatusMotor1()!=TC_ALIGNMENT_COMPLETED){}" eventhough it has worked for the past week! I have also noticed the motor doesn't take any current (0.01A) which means it doesn't even try to move if I don't power the microcontroller but only the ihm08m1 board it takes 0.04A when I plug in the microcontroller it goes down to 0.01A. Previously it was using 0.045A - 0.4A of current while driving the motor and 0.45A when in locked rotor mode. I cannot understand why did it suddenly stop?! I have checked the encoder and all 3 channels work fine. any help is much a

The error will appear when I configurate the module of AdcGroupDefinition, but the port and the hardware channel are configuarted correctly and conform. I have recently upgraded CUBEIDE to v1.15.1I tried to add a example project to my workspace and it states Required Software PackageWhen I click next and finish, I get the errorI have checked for updates etc and tried to download manually using Embedded Software Packages Manager but it appears the version only goes up to v1.0.0have reinstalled the software on a windows but they are still not available.Whats happened?

Hello,I am trying to port SBSFU functionality on NUCLEO STM32F767ZI board. I am referring  STM32F769I Discovery board project  (image 1 project: single slot variant) from the examples available. I have followed the steps mentioned in the UM2262 and AN 5056 for porting SBSFU and User application to custom board. I have successfully uploaded the SBSFU firmware to the STM32F767ZI board and able to see the "Secure boot and Secure firmware upload screen" on Tera term. I am trying to upload the firmware through the Y Modem, the file upload starts and showing 4.7% on the screen as shown in attached image and suddenly the upload window gone. I am getting "File not correctly received"  message on the screen as shown attached image.Following changes I made in the use application firmware.1. Updated the BSP packet required for my STM32F767ZI board2. Updated the startup file for my STM32F767ZI board3. Modified the UART settings : used UART3 instead of UART13

Has anyone found an error in CubeMX when trying to use one of the examples (specifically I2C_OneBoard_Communication_IT_Init) where CubeMX is stating that it is based off of the V1.3 software package.  My updater says that V1.3 is not available, but the CubeMX is still requiring it to be downloaded.   TIA

Greetings to the community, After digging around the relevant documentations and the reference manual for the chip family (STM32U5xxx), I couldn't find any relevant info on configuring SPI protocol to be in open drain config. The idea is to power the SPI protocol with 5V using the open drain configuration. In addition, while storming through the config part of the IDE - only pull up/down alt. configs are available. Since there is one slight mention on the following page of the reference manual (2894/3637, right under figure 838), I wanted to ask if there is a bug in the IDE, or the open drain config could be manually done (eg. within the GPIO init) or for this concrete MCU this config is unavailable on SPI1?   Thank you all in advance!

Hi all, I've been working on reducing the power consumption of a project I'm working on using the STM32G431.Stop modes are not an option on this chip since I need to keep some peripherals active, but I've beenable to reduce the needed system clock to below 1Mhz, and use the LP-Run/Sleep modes exclusively. I've gone as far as I can in terms of reducing overall frequency. According to the CubeMx power estimator pane, I can  reduce the power consumption further by about 75% by avoiding the use of a crystal and supplying an external clocksignal instead. This so-called "HSE Bypass" mode powers down the oscillator circuit as well as the PLL.  But I've run into a wall in implementing this. If I can't use a crystal, what do I put on the board to generate my (say, 1Mhz) clock? I don't have an FPGA or a big-brother CPU on the board to provide the clock. And to add one would negate the power savings several times over (to say nothing of the BOM cost). &nbsp

I'm working on a project with the EVALSTDRIVE101, and my motor has Hall sensors. I'm able to use the Hall sensors with SDK 6.2, but with SDK 6.3, the processor runs to the HardFault_Handler routine if the Hall sensors are enabled (as an auxiliary speed sensor).If the Hall sensor is enabled, the HT_Init function is called in the FOC_Init function in the mc_tasks_foc.c file. However, if I step into the function, a file opens indicating "Can't find a source file ... mp_hall_tuning.c." If I keep stepping through the disassembly, I eventually get to the fault routine. Something obviously broke in the new implementation.Can someone tell me where the mp_hall_tuning.c file is and why I don't have access to it? Is it included in a precompiled statically compiled library or something?

Hi,Since there is no obvious to ping an ST rep directly from an ongoing thread, I'm posting these questions in a new thread in the hope that ST will respond with answers.  These arose during discussion in another thread:How Can I Provide a 1mhz HSE Bypass Clock For Low-Power - Without Wasting More Power Than I Save??  Questions:1. In "Low-Power RUN" mode, the current consumption at 1Mhz given by datasheet (refA)is 255uA for fHSE, and 820 uA for fHSI. The power consumption with HSI is noticeably higher.What is the reason for this difference in power consumption?2. Does "Low-Power RUN" mode support the use of an HSE *crystal*, or only HSE Bypass mode (i.e. an external clock). (The following questions assume an HSE crystal is supported in "Low-Power RUN" mode):3. Do the datasheet tables for "Low-Power RUN" (see refA), which detail the current consumptionfor "HSE" assume the use of HSE bypass (i.e. external clock), or are they valid when anexternal crysta

HI community,I got my hands on a MAX22192 evaluation kit (SPI GPIO expander) , currently attempting to communicate with it. While I can receive the input status from the IC, it doesn't respond to the commands I'm sending to it through NUCLEO G474RE.The evaluation kit includes a USB dongle with its own GUI interface, which I used to capture the waveform.My SPI is clocked at 2.5 MHz, and the IC supports speeds up to 12 MHz."Communication with Nucleo G474RE (Getting input status but unresponsive to commands)@2.5MhzCommunication data with evaluation kit usb dongle (which works perfectly fine)@5MhzAs per the datasheet this is my read and write packet structureaccording to led matrix register iam trying to setl led at index 0 and in the frame 2 iam trying to readback the status this is my code  int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initia

The ST MIcro website offers this free tool link but when I download it, its appears to be resticted as a trial use.I followed the instructions and there was a link on the download page that gets installed, simple and good for a year.Thanks

I made a touchgfx project by CubeIDE,when I choose touchgfx framebuffer by allocation,after build ,the framebuffer is placed into flash,then ram.I wonder why.

I wanted to use the STM32F439 timers, any of them but timer 8 seems to be the best one with my current peripherals, to act as a trigger source. Basically, the timer would drive a pin low, and at specific counts of the timer, drive the pin high for ~50ns, then reset low. The counts that change the output would be software defined. The trigger would also be software defined. An external oscillator is used to ensure accuracy. The load should only be about 10 pF and 5.5 uA.Would it be better to bit-bang the output with internal timers instead?

I wanted to use the ioc and all the code from a project into another project. So, I copied the project and pasted in a workspace, then renamed the project, but ioc is not changed. So while opening, I get error messageInvalid Input: Must be project's active .ioc file.Project's 'board_HW_Test' active one is 'board_HW_Test.ioc' fileDo I need to rename only the ioc or any other changes without loosing the data.

HI, my application is a tcp echoserver which works perfectly but, only for 10-20 minutes, after don't ping anymore. I'm using STM32H723 with LWIP and RTOS and I think it's a memory configuration issue. This is my setup: void MPU_Config(void) { MPU_Region_InitTypeDef MPU_InitStruct = {0}; // Disables the MPU HAL_MPU_Disable(); // Initializes and configures the Region and the memory to be protected MPU_InitStruct.Enable = MPU_REGION_ENABLE; MPU_InitStruct.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER0; MPU_InitStruct.BaseAddress = 0x0; MPU_InitStruct.Size = MPU_REGION_SIZE_4GB; MPU_InitStruct.SubRegionDisable = 0x87; MPU_InitStruct.TypeExtField = MPU_TEX_LEVEL0; MPU_InitStruct.AccessPermission = MPU_REGION_NO_ACCESS; MPU_InitStruct.DisableExec = MPU_INSTRUCTION_ACCESS_DISABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsShareable = MPU_ACCESS_SHAREABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsCacheable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_CACHEABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsBufferable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_BUFFERABLE; HAL_MPU_ConfigRegion(&MPU_InitStruct); // I

The datasheet of STM32WL33KB states that the frequency bands 159-185 MHz, 413-479 MHz, 826-958 MHz are supported.However, the website mentions that "For greater flexibility, it supports wide frequency bands from 100 MHz – 2.4 GHz". Can I get some clarification as to whether 2.4 GHz is supported or not?

Hello ST Community, I have setup a SPI master and a SPI slave, both use DMA in Normal mode. The word size is 8-bits and the data size is 8-bytes. The problem is that the slave transmits messages which contains old data. When it should send:MISO: { 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01 }it sends:MISO: { 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x01 }When it should send:MISO: { 0x02, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02 }it sends:MISO: { 0x01, 0x01, 0x01, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02, 0x02 }OBS: The debug gpio is toggled when the ISR finishes and when theTxBuffer is edited in main.This pattern continues for every transfer it contains 3 old bytes.Implementation (slave):The slave updates the response in the main function. int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init(); HAL_SPI_Transm

Hi,I am conducting tests with the HSM and SFI. I have tried the use case of attempting to install an SFI with an HSM that uses other keys. Obviously, I couldn't do it, but now I cannot connect the microcontroller in "normal" mode. If I connect it in "Hot plug" mode and try to change the RDP, it shows the following message:Enabling RDP when TrustZone is active!If no valid secure code booting and calling non-secure code, it may prevent disabling TrustZone And RDP.And if I click OK, it shows the following message:Your device may be lost FOREVERWhat should I do to fix this error so that I can reconnect the microcontroller to the STM32CubeProgrammer?Best regards,

Hi, in my current audio processing set up I have a CODEC set as master connected to my STM32F446RE (slave). The current configuration utilizes I2S DMA interrupt callbacks to handle the input and processing of these samples received. The CODEC receives an external clock signal of 12.288 MHz in order to achieve a sample rate of 48 KHz. How can I calculate the amount of time we receive every sample from the CODEC to the STM32F446?

Hello,As I enter debug mode and start to run (code execution), nothing is updating in the debug window( the t1 variable at the bottom of the debug mode window just showed me zero or .0026)However, my program works fine on my STM32F10x MCU. When I stop the code execution, the watch window variables show the last updated value, and the RTOS RTX also shows the old state of each thread, and the t1 becomes a number regarding the execution code time.I have updated my ST-Link V2 to the latest version and MDK Keil software to the latest version and installed compiler version 5 for my code compilation.But during execution, nothing was displayed. I have also set the core clock to 72MHz at Debug->Trace->Core clock, but it did not change anything.I need to know why the debug window is not working correctly.

Sorry to say, but I'm running macOS 15.0 Sequoia (beta), and STM32CubeIDE 1.15.1, and the splash image is upside down again for me. :)

Hello There! I have bought EVAL- SCS001V1 sink device for my application in which I need the output as 12V/2A from the mentioned sink device. I came across below problems and I seek help on it. 1) Problem related to STSW-STUSB002 GUI version 2.0. The first problem is with the GUI version 2.0 as specified. When I made hardware connections as mentioned in the quick start document and I tried to connect the Nucleo- F072RB with the GUI 2.0, I got an error which says " The Parameter is Incorrect". and I'm unable to connect the hardware with the GUI 2.0. I have resolved this issue by using the previous version ( STSW-STUSB002 GUI 1.09 ). So my hardware got detected in this version and I was able to program or write the NVM successfully. In the Connection Status of the GUI 1.09 it showed that " OK STUSB4500_L  Detected (COM19), at address 0x28 (I2C bus 1)" sharing image below. 2) Problem related to the usage of the source device and selecting desired PDO's. Currently I'm using the 65W m

My three ToF sensors on a finger ring are working (using a Portenta C33).https://youtu.be/qL_alTQpko0Next steps: train and realize gestures (and maybe visualize in Unity). So far, my sensors mounted on a finger ring (for RingGesture) is working (just to consider the power consumption and to do an active ranging in a sequence, just one sensor at a time).
