I am currently trying to perform the Cross-talk calibration procedure, but I am confused because the procedures mentioned in the documents "Proximity and ambient light sensing (ALS) module" and "VL6180X cross talk compensation implementation" are somewhat different.The document "Proximity and ambient light sensing (ALS) module" mentions that the offset needs to be written before performing the measurement, but this is not mentioned in the document "VL6180X cross talk compensation implementation."Additionally, the "VL6180X cross talk compensation implementation" document uses RESULT__RANGE_RAW. Could you please advise which one I should follow? Thank you.

Hello -I have an Accel 28 board made by Mikroe that has the LIS2HH12 device. As per the Mikroe data sheet I set J1,J2,J3 to positions 2-3. I have removed J5 so that line isn't pulled up.I've got the first 6 pins on the lower left up connected to my NUCLEO-L476RG development board.GND, 3V3, SDI, SDO, CLK and CS. I have confirmed CS, CLK and SDI have normal and good signals. Yet, SDO is distorted, almost non-existent, but does return the correct value occasionally. Please see scope pix attached. Top is SDI/MOSI, bottom is SDO/MISO. I've also tried unplugging SDO pin from Accel 28 to STM32 to confirm it's not a loading issue. On this test the function did return the correct value of 0x41 to "Who am I" (0xF) command.It's clear to see this is a peculiar signal and not normal at all. Also attached is Accel 28 schematic.Could you please offer any suggestion as to what the problem might be? Have you seen this before?Thanks!

Hello,I have an issue when compiling a makefile from a project using an STM32H5 and ThreadX with NetXduo library.this is the error i have:make[1]: arm-none-eabi-gcc: Argument list too long make[1]: *** [Makefile:1119: build/TheBlueBox-v2_AZURE_NS.elf] Error 127 make[1]: Leaving directory '/cygdrive/c/TheBlueBox/FW/TheBlueBox_AZURE/TheBlueBox-v2_AZURE/Makefile/NonSecure' make: *** [Makefile:88: all] Error 2Argument list is too long... What should i do?i am compiling with windows 10.I've attached the makefile (All has been generated with cubemx 6.12.0).

Hi STM community!I am new to STM microcontrollers and this is my first post :)My board is a tiny STM42F401CCU6 @ 84MHz. I already have made some first steps with CubeMX and CubeIDE, after I came from the arduino IDE which was a bit too simple (reading some ADC voltages, driving a 7-Segment Display with a shift register).Some day I want connect a HIFI DAC (PCM5102) to I2S in order to build a VA synthesizer, using a Half Duplex DMA Transfer. This is a challange for me, because there are so many things to configure in the CubeMX. The programming itself seems quite smooth thanks to the CubeIDE and CMSIS.My current focus is the clock configuration, which is quite complex stuff for MC beginners. I have watched some YouTube vids from STM but I wondered, why the I2S clock ist so high, when I configure a I2S interface. At any sample rates it is set to 96MHz, even when the HCLK is only 16MHz.I thought, the I2S clock is calculated by sampleRate*BitsPerSample*Channels, which is only 128kHz on

Hi all,we are developing a product with the STM32H573. The idea is to use the STiRoT for secure firmware update. The MCU is connected to a Linux CPU via SPI. Now we plan to do the provisioning during the production using the Linux CPU that has a ethrnet connection to the outside world. The question is: Is that possible? Is the boot pin required or is a jump to bootloader sufficient?I have modified the provisioning scripts to use UART and I have tested it using the H573DK eval board, but it failed. This is because after programming the option bytes the bootloader is not starting again, as STiRoT gets activated. Maybe the sequence can be modified?What are the detailed steps? E.g. what is the RSS doing and how? Thx,Roman

hi anyone can please help me for the integrating vl53l0 sensor with rx71m mcu,because i am not getting specific document for communicating it with rx71m over i2c please support

HiI wanted to test ST MotorControl Workbench for experimenting with brushless motors, I have installed and tested the MotorControl Workbench 6.2.1 and MotorControl Workbench 5.4.8 on win 11 and both of them would fail to generate the projects out of box with this error message,I have set them to use keil IDE v5 and my stmcubemx version is 6.10.0you can check the error log hereQuote2024-01-28 18:56:58,742 DEBUG [Main.lambda$run$0] Arguments: [-ioc, C:\Users\Ali\Desktop\mc\EvalG0_SingleShunt_IHM023V3_HAL\EvalG0_SingleShunt_IHM023V3_HAL.ioc, -xdm, C:\Users\Ali\Desktop\mc\EvalG0_SingleShunt_IHM023V3_HAL\EvalG0_SingleShunt_IHM023V3_HAL.wb_def]2024-01-28 18:56:58,745 DEBUG [ArgsValue.readPropertiesFile] [AppConfig] pack.source = "C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\MC_SDK_5.4.8\Middlewares\ST\MotorControl"2024-01-28 18:56:58,745 DEBUG [ArgsValue.readPropertiesFile] [UserConfig] do not exist in "C:\Users\Ali\.st_motor_control\wb2mx.properties"2024-01-28 18:56:58,753 DEBUG [ArgsValue.get

I am using USB peripheral on the STM32U5 with TrustZone enabled. I met a problem. In Non-Secure area, USB_DRD_FS->CNTR, USB_DRD_FS->CHEP0R can be set correctly. In Secure area, I can set "USB_DRD_FS->CNTR = 0x9D00;".But I can not set the "USB_DRD_FS->CHEP0R = 0x8280;". The register value remains at 0. How can I use the USB peripheral in Secure area?

Hi all!Thanks again for the help so far.Just another question, is it possible (or normal?) when creating a pack to have it insert snippets of code into main.c just like the code snippets that get inserted by the cube when you change peripherals etc? Thanks again.

Hello, is there any documentation regarding the startup on both cores as I see there are several possibilitiess to gate the other core or to let them run directly in parallel. Nevertheless, CubeMx generates a common startup file which is shared I assume. Does ST provide more information on this topic? Where can I find some reference material, e.g. ARM for a dual core approach?

I want to change the screens above into slides. I want to know how to slide between screens without swipe container. Please help me.

I can find the UM1021 document for STM32F105xx, STM32F107xx, STM32F2xx and STM32F4xx, but nothing for STM32F7xx.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

Hi,in ds for STM32H747xI/G  , DS12930 Rev 2 , for Temp.sensor CAL2 : 130° (Parameter) is written here: BUT  max. temp for chip is 125° :So i assume, this is misspelled  , because in all other : (H743, H750, H7A3 ..) 110° + 30° are given.NOT 130° .

I just finish a TouchGFX code to generate an adjustable sine wave. I am planning to make 3 of them to mix them and play chords but there is a problem: how can i play a function that generated in STM32 on the speakers of that STM32?I would be so glad to any help from you all.

Hi,  i am using STM32H753z  i try to switching FDCAN GPIO is PD0, PD1  to UART tx and rx (same pins)now i changed FDCAN to UART tx side  is fine but in Rx side  i face issue ( no data is receiving to receive buffer).     #define CAN_AFR 0x99 #define UART_AFR 0x88 #define CHANGING_PORT 0xFFFFFFFA void switch_UART_TO_CAN(void) { if(HAL_UART_DeInit(&huart4) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } GPIOD->AFR[0] = CAN_AFR; GPIOD->MODER=CHANGING_PORT; MX_FDCAN1_Init(&hfdcan1); } void switch_CAN_TO_UART(void) { if(HAL_FDCAN_DeInit(&hfdcan1)!= HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } GPIOD->MODER=CHANGING_PORT; GPIOD->AFR[0] = UART_AFR; HAL_UART_Init(&huart4); MX_UART4_Init(); }

My use case is about computer vision (yolo model preferably) and how to monitor its inference in order to have an idea of its carbon footprint when running on the chip. I heard that stm32-zoo has a yolo model available, so it is possible to use it on the chip (correct me if I am wrong :D).Would you have any useful tips for such a case regarding the monitoring part? Is there a dedicated software available from ST?Thanks in advance ST Community!

Hi    i am receive data using UART 4 and transfer same data back like loopback but data is mismatch.  same process in stm32f207 is working,    #include "main.h" UART_HandleTypeDef huart4; void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_UART4_Init(void); int main(void) { char rx_buffer[10]={0}; HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_UART4_Init(); while (1) { HAL_UART_Receive(&huart4, rx_buffer, 10, 1000); HAL_Delay(100); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart4, rx_buffer, 10, 100); // HAL_Delay(1000); } /* USER CODE END 3 */ } void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Supply configuration update enable */ HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_LDO_SUPPLY); /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2); while(!__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_VOSRD

Dear community, on the ADC3 IN18 (internal temperature), I have an unconsistancy between the output of the ADC (reflecting the value of the temperature and the reference value TS_CAL1 and TS_CAL2 (0x3114 and 0x40C0).the ADC is in 16 bits and I got a value from the ADC 0xA152.When using the formulae converting the value from ADC to temperature, the result give 685 °C !!!!I change the conversion scale to 12 bit, and now the result is -163°C.it seems the reference value are fix whatever the ADC scale range. but nowhere I found a formulae explaining the influence of the conversion scale neither the influence of Vref.we extend the sampling time to comply with the minimum 9 µs.

We are planning to make a board using a STM32 MCU in a Modbus application. What we need is a Modbus-RTU. We found that STM32F030 can satisfy our needs and cheap enough but it does not support Modbus. Could we use STM32F030 in this case by special software additional design or we should find another MCU supporting Modbus? If we could use it then we need support about the additional software design. Would you please support us?Thank you!
