I have an STM32L433 that implements a SPI slave, it is connected to another MCU master. It is unclear from the datasheet and searches for answers whether MISO and MOSI on the slave should connect directly to MISO and MOSI on the master, or, if they should be crossed. Is master MOSI -> slave MOSI and master MISO to slave MISO correct?Sid

Hi,I have just opened my new STEVAL-PROTEUS1 evaluation kit for my project. I tried to connect it with the STBLE sensor app, but I realized that it does not appear on the Bluetooth search. Then I tried my STEVAL-STWINKT1B sensor kit, and it connected, so I assume that the issue is not related to the cable. Do you have any solution for this problem? I would appreciate it very much if you could help with this.

Noob here.  Using HAL and as much generated code as possible.   Ive run into an issue on how to self learn,  I've identified what I believe is the solution but nowhere( that I can figure out) in the reference document does it point to this in what I believe would be obviously described. I have a situation where I am in need of using an MCU to simulate a quadrature encoder and some other inputs to a larger system for testing.   The encoder goes from rest to 132kHz and back to rest 13 times a second.  My first attempt was to use PWM/DMA and phase shifting but it kinda fell apart on me maintaining the phase shifts.  I watched some videos and it occured to me that I could DMA a cyclic buffer through the GPIO without trying to maintain phase shift by writing directly to the GPIO:      uint32_t enc_cycle[4]; for(int i=0; i<4 ;i++) enc_cycle[i]=0; enc_cycle[0] = 0x00000001; enc_cycle[1] = 0x00000002; enc_cycle[2] = 0x00010000; enc_

Hi all,I'm working on a product that uses a TOF sensor (exact type# TBD) to identify if someone(s face) who is sitting in a chair is present within a certain distance and angle (around 20 degrees). If the right conditions are met the product should be switched on. I'm looking for ways to prevent the product from switching on based on false positives that the sensor receives from static objects when no on is actually present, such as wall, chairs etc. Appreciate your thoughts!

I am working to create a GUI and am trying to generate code, however, each time I do, I get an error that "The system cannot find the file specified." as TouchGFX tries to generate assets. A colleague of mine has generated the code on his system and it was able to generate all the code. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling TouchGFX, yet that did not solve the issue, and would love guidance on how to fix this problem.

Dear ST-Developer,i have discovered that the ADC configuration with cube takes only effect for one channel instead of every enabled channel. In the reference Manual and HAL_ADC documentation i have understood that each ADC-Channel of the G474 series are independent configurable from each other.  The problem is that the generated code by CubeMX seems to not generate the configuration for enabled channels.I have expected that ALL  ADC-Configuration for ALL enabled channels will be generated. So i faced the problem that only one ADC-Channel (independent from ADC1,2,3,4 and 5) was configured correctly.I don't want to check the code generated by CubeMX for correctness because then i can write it by my own from scratch. And i don't want to insert missing channel configuration by hand because i use CubeMX that should do it for me. Thats why we use it to simplify our work. Our code uses the Hardware configurations from CubeMX as single point of truth  so that we have only t

Currently using a STM32L4R9I-DISCO and I've been struggling to get the SWV ITNM Data Console to work so I can do some debugging. I'm quite new to this, but I've followed every tutorial online to enable UART and how to set it all up, to no avail. I've managed to get the Trace Log to work, but I am looking for values of the variables in loops as the code is executed. Is there any other way to do this or is someone capable of helping me set this up?

HI,I cannot delete page 15, or other pages, of the STM32C031K6T6 flash chip. HAL_StatusTypeDef status; EraseInitStruct.TypeErase=FLASH_TYPEERASE_PAGES; EraseInitStruct.NbPages=1; EraseInitStruct.Page=15; status = HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); status = HAL_FLASHEx_Erase (&EraseInitStruct, &PageError); status = HAL_FLASH_Lock(); Where am I wrong? Can someone help me?Thanks everyone in advance.

Hello,Is it possible to drive two independent LCD screens from one e.g. STM32MP157? I know it has LTDC controller and also is having MIPI® DSI but I was wondering if it can run them together (no overlapping pins)?I want  to make a product that will have one display (non touch), maybe for video output 720p - non touch; and one smaller screen 480p with touch to serve as digital buttons.

Hello, I try to use a TIM2 Interrupt to toggle a LED. I use a STM32F401C controller. If I toggle the LED inside the while loop with delay, it works fine.       while (1) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_15); HAL_Delay(1000); }       But there is no interrupt for TIM2. I attached the CubeMX ioc file. Have I forgotten something to parmatrize?

Hello STM32 Community,I am currently working on a USB Power Delivery (USB PD) project using an STM32L562CET6 microcontroller, where I successfully vary the output voltages and currents (5V 3A, 9V 3A, 12V 3A, 15V 3A, and 20V 5A) in SPR (Standard Power Range) Mode using the provided usbpd_pwr_if.c code.I am exploring the possibility of achieving the same functionality using a bit-banging method. Specifically, my goal is to configure the CC lines as GPIO in analog mode and generate the SPR signal pattern manually. I understand that USB PD communication involves precise timing and voltage levels, and I would like to confirm whether this approach is feasible with an STM32L562CET6 microcontroller. My Questions:1. Is it technically possible to achieve reliable USB PD communication using bit banging on an STM32L562CET6 microcontroller?2. What are the key challenges and limitations associated with this approach?3. Are there any specific STM32L562CET6 features or peripherals that could assist in

Hi all.Working with the Pack Creator I know I can create a header file that contains defines that are editable in the CubeMX view.I'd like to know if it's possible to have a pack that places defines in the project settings instead of a header file?

I have an ADC connected to an STM32-L4P5DK. Data should be read in the background by the DMA controller. SPI TX is assigned to DMA1 CHANNEL2, and SPI RX is assigned to DMA1 CHANNEL3. Both DMA1 CHANNEL2 and CHANNEL3 are synchronized with EXTI1 (DRDY signal from the ADC). The STM32 SPI2 is configured as a full-duplex master. Both SPI TX(to transmit dummy bytes) and RX are synchronized with the external interrupt (pin PD1 is assigned to DRDY). The problem is that I can see the data on the scope, but SPI2 is not receiving any data.I start TX using the function:  HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&hspi2, tx, 0x1b);  And receive the transmission using:  HAL_DMA_Start_IT(&hdma_spi2_tx, (uint32_t)adc_buf, (uint32_t)&(SPI2->DR), 0x1b); SET_BIT(SPI2->CR2, SPI_CR2_RXDMAEN);   DMA1 CHANNEL1, set to very high priority, is used to pull the chip select pin low on the DRDY falling edge. This channel generates a DMA request to control the CS pin.Ye

Could you shed some light on what the button "start wireless stack" actually does?1) Is there some flag in flash that has to be set after flashing the wireless stack? Or is it just an option byte or something?2) Why is this seperate button necessary? It would be easier and less likely to result in long debugging sessions if flashing the stack would automatically start it as well.3) Can this process be automated via the CubeProgrammer to have a single to click to install and start wireless stack?

Hi; I am using STM32U585ZIT6Q controller in my current project. I am enabled Trust Zone option. I have configured ADC 1 (4 channel) in non secure with GPDMA.I am not able to read ADC data. I have attached all configuration. I have used HCLK(160MHz) for ADC. if i got working example then it will more helpful. Please help me for same.

For example there would be a file called "common.h" containing a single line no #include or anything:../../../Common/Inc/common.hAnd in that path there is also a common.h containing the actual C code. The STM32Cube project structure is something like this with App1 and App2 being project folders so it is being used to link to common files.- Common/---- Inc-------- common.h- App1/---- Core-------- Inc------------ common.h- App2/---- Core-------- Inc------------ common.h It works so what I would love to know is how it works and what makes it work especially? Is it cube? If so, what in cube is it? How can I reproduce it?Grateful for any insight!Oscar

Hi, I'm trying to store some information in flash, I'm attaching the program. The problem arises when I use HAL_FLASH_Program function. Inside the FLASH_WaitLastOperation function (called by HAL_FLASH_Program), the PGSERR+PGAERR bits are set after the write operation. Do you have any ideas about this.?Thanks in advance// From datasheet rm0440-stm32g4-series-advanced-armbased-32bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf pag. 95#define ADDR_FLASH_PAGE_127 ((uint32_t)0x0807F800) // Bank 2void _qSaveConfig() {HAL_FLASH_Unlock();uint32_t page = _qGetPage(ADDR_FLASH_PAGE_127);FLASH_PageErase(page, FLASH_BANK_2);HAL_FLASH_Lock(); /* Check FLASH operation error flags */uint32_t e = HAL_FLASH_GetError();if (e != 0u) {qDebugFatalError("Errore in scrittura flash", e);} HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); // afesConfig == configuration to saveuint32_t sizeDataToWrite = sizeof(afesConfig);uint64_t dataToWrite[sizeDataToWrite];memcpy(dataToWrite, afesConfig, sizeDataToWrite); // Scrivi i dati nella memoria

Hi,I am facing a problem in implementing USB HID host input for keyboard.I can get only 12-13 characters in my buffer after which the keyboard doesn't respond to any input as can be seen in snap attached.source for keyboard handling is also attached

Interrupt Frequency Limit of M4 core and A7 core，where can i find its infomation? and is there some Testing Method？

Hello I'm using STM32F030C8.I'm writing the code because I want to use the internal flash memory like rom.Is there a set number of times I can write in internal flash memory? If there is a related document, I would like to see it.Thank you.

I have been using STM32F767zi for long time.I know some of the pin feature by heart.Last night, I enabled ETH for a moment and to see what pin it uses, then I disable it and then all the chaos happened.I realized that many of frequently used USART 2, USART3, UART5, USART6 pins are changed to other pins....I was like okay, then I follow to wire to the new pins, but it doesn't work well... weird. Then I reopen some other project of the  same board and realized that using same UART5, for exmaple, and saw that it was not that 2 pins as TX and RX.... Why and how is this happen?I tried to open new project, then pick the same Nucleo board, and immediately see the UART5 again, and WTF! another new pin?no, UART5 was all the while PB12 and PB13, USART3 is at PB10,PB11.... I have been using it for a year plus... Where come this PCx PDx and other new allocation that not actually working??Is this new update bug?Can anyone help how to load the really true working .ioc back?

Dear STM, May I know do you have product roadmap for Qi2.0 compliant 15W RX, due to obsolescent of Qi1.3 on 2026.

I see lots of posts with folk struggling to get code into ITCM, but not the (sorta) problem I have after getting things working.  It is just a compiler warning, but I'd like to find an elegant way of handling it.The issue is I am using memcpy to copy my code intended for the ITCM from external flash to ITCM space.  All is good and it works, but since the start of ITCM is at address 0, GCC understandably questions my intentions as I'm doing a memcpy to NULL!  It's just a warning I've been living with, but I'm in a clean-up phase and would like to clear this warning. Options I've considered but none seem a clean solution:1) Use -Wnonnull option: Would work, but the warning overall is a good one and not a good idea to disable for the entire project.  There might be some way to disable it just for the file making the call, but still--ick.2) Manually copy the first 4 bytes (or something like that) and then use memcpy for addresses 4+.  This seems the least ugly
