When trying to generate code using STMCubeMX, both TrueStudio (understandable) and STM32CubeMXIde are greyed out. I have the newest version of CubeMX, CubeMXIde, and TrueStudio installed. When will the 757 be supported? We are in a rush in developing a major prototype project (we have been waiting for DSI support forever on the H7 line) and now that it's available, support for it is far from complete. There seems to be no mention of it being supported or not anywhere.Thoughts? The 753 is supported, so why not the 757? There aren't very many differences between the two parts (except for DSI and the power supply).

I plan to purchase NUCLEO-F767ZI & X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 for my project. I just wonder whether the Unicleo-GUI works with the combination of  NUCLEO-F767ZI + X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1.Your advice is highly appreciated. Qingshan

I am using STM32 Nucleo-h723zg for a UART serial transmission using UART4 and UART7. I have used UART4 only in my code to test since using both was not working. Still, nothing is showing on my RealTerm serial monitor. I used STM32 Cube IDE. I don't know why I can't see data being transmitted on the serial monitor. /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2024 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS. * ****************************************************************************** */ /* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------

Hallo,I have a board with stm32u5. This board sends mqtt messages to a broker using a cellular modem. As os, I'm using AZURE RTOS. I'm wondering if it's better to use lwip, netxduo or stm32_cellular as a substratum. Where can I find examples of netxduo with cellular modem? To use netxduo, I have to flag something else apart nx core and mqtt? thank you a lot.

Hello everyone,I'm currently facing an issue with STM32CubeIDE when trying to flash our board. It wasn't like this before and nothing special really change in the project configuration but now when I try to run the code I get this : STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. HI, I configured boot pins STM32G030 to enter bootloader at startup of system, but now how do I check if the chip is actually in bootlaoder mode? After setting boot bits, I know that the main application code on flash memory is not loaded at start up (mcu not responding to uart commadns as it does in application code), but when I try to use commands from AN3155: I get no response on uart (trying "Get version" and "Get ID" commands), also tried the "Go" command, doesnt work. The system is connected by STM32G03 connected to FT234XD-T(chip on PCB) and then via USB to PC. The UART communication works without problem in application code mode, at 115200 baud.

We planed the BlueNRG-LPS in one of our projects to use it as a Network Co-Processor via the ACI command set and also have some code ready for that. Can we now just switch it against an STM32WB05xN and use the same commands, or is their command set different / even limited to HCI?

Hello everyone,I'm reaching out in hopes of getting some urgent assistance with a project I'm working on for my studies. The deadline is approaching quickly, and I need to resolve this issue as soon as possible.Project Overview:I'm developing an anomaly detection application using NanoEdge AI Studio for a student project. My setup involves an LSM6DSOX accelerometer/gyroscope sensor connected via the I2C protocol to the STM32H755 Nucleo board. The objective is to collect motion data for training AI models that detect anomalies.Problems Encountered:UART Data Transmission: My main issue is that I can't get any data to show up on the serial monitor of my PC. Here's what I have tried:Virtual COM Port over USB: I initially set up UART communication using a virtual COM port through USB. I configured the UART in CubeMX, ensuring the baud rate, word length, parity, and stop bits matched on both ends. However, no data appears on the serial monitor.UART to USB Converter: I also tried using a UART

Hello,I want to implement an application for detecting items in the kitchen on an STM32-H747i-DISCO board. I installed Python 3.10.2, TensorFlow 2.8, CUDA 11.7, and cuDNN v8.8.1. After installing the model zoo , I tried running the command in  Command Prompt python stm32ai_main.py , from this path " ..\stm32ai-modelzoo\object_detection\src".  But I encountered the attached errorI

I'm making a simple USB MIDI implementation, and using a DAW to send note-on/note-off events from the computer to the device. The maximum packet size is 64 bytes, events are 4 bytes each so up to 16 events should fit in one packet. When I send one or two events at a time, everything works great - it can run for hours with no problem. But when I send three events (12 bytes) in one packet, something goes wrong. The 12 bytes are received ok, interrupts keep working as normal, and subsequent reported data lengths are correct... but the content of the received buffer never changes any further. It just holds the same old 12 bytes forever, until I reset everything by re-plugging the USB cable. Is there some reason that more than 8 bytes would be a problem? It's interesting the initial 12 bytes are actually received ok, and even more than that is ok too. I can send up to the full 64 bytes allowed in a packet and all the data is received ok, but only once. Here is the relevant section of code:

Dear,I am facing a problem while importing a project (that is built from another computer) to a new system, IDE is not generating .elf in the debug folder. While compiling is also warning about the same. Suppose I take a .elf from the old system and paste it in the new system (in the debug folder) and provide the path through settings in the debug configuration. In that case, the project is getting built and running with original parameters such as some variables, etc.The issue here is that1. if change the value of used variables and build the project, it always starts with old variable values.for example:Variable is Idc = 10; // set in old systemand I change it to I dc = 5;but after building the project it always starts withIdc = 10; 2. Another issue is ADCs are also not affecting by changing any value.3. Breakpoints are also not working. Kindly help me in this regard ThanksNeelesh

Hi everyone,I'm working on a custom board based on STM32MP157F-DK2. I am running Yocto 5.0.3 (scarthgap) with trusted boot (not signed).I could build the Zephyr (3.7.0) rpmsg sample that worked out of the box:https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/samples/subsys/ipc/openamp_rsc_table/README.htmlNow the issue is when I tried to debug the m4 core with a JTAG, the board crashes, here is what I see on the Linux console: E/TC:0 tzc_it_handler:79 TZC permission failure E/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:420 Permission violation on filter 0 E/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:425 Violation @0xdeadbef0, non-secure privileged read, AXI ID 1 E/TC:0 Panic at core/arch/arm/plat-stm32mp1/plat_tzc400.c:84 <tzc_it_handler> E/TC:0 TEE load address @ 0xde000000 E/TC:0 Call stack: E/TC:0 0xde002961 E/TC:0 0xde017cd1 E/TC:0 0xde0046d7 E/TC:0 0xde0179f7 E/TC:0 0xde023679 E/TC:0 0xde000348 I started JLinkGDBServer with those parameters: JLinkGDBServer -port 2331 -s -device STM32MP15XX_M4 -endian little -speed

Hi,I have been trying to place a function in the ITCM region for some time with no luck. As close I get was HardFalult There are some examples for the F7 series on the web. Some dating back to 2016, some similar to F767 with the same core but I cannot make them work. Each example uses a different way, making it harder to figure out. Modifying the linker file, modifying the startup.s file.Yes, I read AN4667. I am using STM32CubeIDE 1.1.16. Is there a clear application note or up to date example code that I can use?Best regards,Tim

Hi, When I input 32000 (32 kHz) into the AUDIO_IN_SMAPLE_FREQUENCY macro within cca02m2_conf.h The advanced tab within microphone properties is lost, not allowing me to select 32 kHz, 16 bit input. I have noted that when entering 48 kHz and 16 kHz as the AUDIO_IN_SMAPLE_FREQUENCY, the advanced tab is available, allowing me to select the correct sample rate, and stream audio in Audacity.  Has anyone encountered this issue in the past and has a work around? Using X-NUCLEO-CCA02M2 shield with the Nucleo F401RE board and Windows 11 OS.

Hi,I cannot login to myST. When I press myST|login nothing happens, no window with prompt for credentials appears.Because of that I cannot manage and download firmware packs. Code generation does ton work. Generated project is incomplete and cannot be build.STMCubeIDE version: 1.16.0.Regards,Piotr Romaniuk

Hello ...I cloned the github repo:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeL4/tree/master I am trying to compile the PWR_STOP1_RTC project but keep getting a fatal error  ../../../../../../../Drivers/STM32L4xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/stm32l4xx_hal_def.h:29:10: fatal error: stm32l4xx.h: No such file or directory where can I find this file to include within the ....Drivers/STM32L4xx_HAL_Driver/Inc?Thanks

So i started to learn stm32cubeide recently i decided to write a driver for AS5047u magnetic sensor using SPI and i can communicate with the IC with SPI. On reading the data i get a 16 bit value from it the first two bits are don't care bits and i have now 14 bits of data. How do i convert them into angles ? should i convert the 14bit Binary vaue into something else ??? This is the datasheet of the IChttps://look.ams-osram.com/m/48d90c982e0879e8/original/AS5047U-DS000637.pdf Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hello everyone! I'm close to validating all my schematics for a PCB project, and I wanted to be sure at 100% that a section is correct.I'm talink about the USB-C section, that connects directly to the STM32H7 microcontroller. It will be used to access a NAND Flash Memory that is connected via SDMMC 4 Bits Wide Bus directly to the STM32 :  Can you please tell me if there's an error? I also saw that in some designs they connect the CC1 and CC2 pins to a 5.1k resistor each, do I have to do the same for this design?I'm also confused about the 22 Ohms termination resistors. I saw countless forums and discussions where some people say they're necessary and other people say they're not. What's the recommendation for an STM32H7A3VIT6 microcontroller (Full Speed 12.2Mbps)?

Hi, Recently, I purchased a X-STM32MP-GNSS2 Evaluation board which came with an antenna. As per the instructions, I could find its compatibility with STM32MP157F-DK2 and Raspberry Pi.  Can anybody help me getting its interface and data logging using STM32 Nucleo-144 board?

I'd like to use both of the Synopsis USB controllers on the STM32H743VIT6, one as device, one as host, but to do that I understand that the other USB controller is accessed through the USB HS device, which is disabled because of the use of LTDC.Currently I have the FS USB device working as switchable dual-role Host/Device.I don't know why the HS USB controller is disabled by CubeMX, as the pin outs for HS DM+/- are free.Is there a way to get around this to use both USB controllers and the LTDC?

I'm using a custom board with an STM32H730 and an external HS PHY USB3370 via ULPI, set up as an OTG-HS "Device Only."When I connect it to my computer, Windows shows "USB device is not recognized".In "USB Device Tree Viewer," it says "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)".This happens on two boards, and I've confirmed that the ULPI pins are correctly matched.I'm not sure if I'm missing something in the configuration.I'm attaching the .ioc file and could use some help figuring out the problem.  Thanks!

Hello, I'm having trouble setting up the USB Device middleware on STM32CubeIDE, latest (1.15.1).The usb_device.h file generated by the IDE (in USB_DEVICE/App) is not found when compiling the Core/Src/system_stm32h7xx.c file.Looking at the command line, it appears the include for USB_Device/App is not present, despite being added as expected by the IDE to the properties.Would anyone know why that would be, and what can be done about that ?Thank you.PS: note I have tried cleaning the project to get non-incremental compilation, to no avail.
