Solved

Hello all,   I am working on a ECU system and using CAN protocol to communicate with peripheral. The MCU i am using is a STM32F446re. I have a problem when trying to execute "HAL_CAN_Init(&hcan1)" function. Indeed, the line "hcan->State = HAL_CAN_STATE_READY;" in this function, the State value becomes "HAL_CAN_STATE_LISTENING", "HAL_CAN_STATE_READY", although my PCB is link to the CAN bus. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I tried to send a LIN frame by creating a task .The code didn't conatin any error but the frame wasn't sent What could be the problem ? This is my project

Hello everyone,I'm working on a project using the STM32F334R8 MCU to capture two rising edge signals with the intent of obtaining the CNT value at each signal's rising edge. My calculations and data are meant to be processed through an external interrupt and transmitted to a computer. I am using a 72 MHz clock with Timer 2, specifically channel 1 and 4.In my debug testing, everything initializes correctly—both input capture and external interrupts start properly, and both CCR1 and CCR4 registers display values. However, when I attempt to retrieve these values using readcapture, the function consistently returns zero. I have also tried accessing the register values directly without using the API, but the results remain the same. Here are some key points:MCU: STM32F334R8Timer Clock: 72 MHzTimer used: Timer 2 (Channel 1 and 4)Issue: CCR displays values, but HAL_TIM_ReadCaptureValue() returns zero.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or can provide insights on why this discrepancy o

Hii I am using STM32F103C8T6 controller. In this controller I am using the UART1 and UART2 transmitting and receiving data. In UART1 I adjust 9600 Baud rate, 8-data bits, None parity and 1 stop in these configuration I am transmitting and receiving data is good, But in UART2 I adjust 9600 Baud rate, 8-data bits, Even parity and 1 stop in these configuration I am transmitting and receiving garbage data. Please help me to use the UART2 in these configurations.

I downloaded and installed the latest STM32Cube IDE. However, I can't compile even the simplest program, because during the creating of a project I get warning stating that I must download and install the Firmware Package. The system is a Windows 11 virtual machine without Internet access, so I suppose I should download Firmware Package on other computer and then copy to the VM. However, I cannot locate that Firmware Package. The problem is very similar to this one:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/how-to-install-stm32cubeide-without-internet/td-p/116152However that solution didn't work for me.

Dear Team,Can we set the expiry date of .HEX file?Regards,N.Anwar

How can I enable Serial Wire View (SWV) on the STM32U031R8 controller? I am receiving a "tracing is not supported" pop-up window. Additionally, when I try to enable it from the debug configuration, the option appears to be disabled. Could this be because my controller has a Cortex-M0+ processor? Could you please explain the reason for this issue?

I cannot connect to the ST sensor tile.box when using the ST BLE sensor APP. What should I do?

Hi, I have a custom board with STM32G030K6 and I wish to use the buildin usart bootlaoder. I have checked the AN3155 and AN2606, but I still cant figure out how to enter into the bootloader. I found that for my MCU, I need Pattern 11 to activate bootloader, which means:But after searching whole datasheet of the mcu, only boot bit setting I found was PA14-BOOT0 and there is no other boot bits to set up in cubemx.I have a feeling that there is some info or application note that I am missing. Any help would be really aprpeciated.

Hello I can't able to connect my NUCLEO - H7A3ZI -Q. Its showing error while commenting. Please help me with solving this issue.

Hi Team,Can you please help me regarding the licensing of STM32 MCU for CUBE IDE? is it required or free for all STM32 MCU?Regards,N.Anwar

Hi, I’m working with an ST25R3916B custom board connected via SPI to a custom embedded Linux system. The system is running the ST25R3916_v2.8.0_Linux_demo_v1.0, but it is unable to detect any NFC tags. The issue seems to originate from the nfc_demo_st3916b application, specifically in st25r3916.c at the st25r3916OscOn() function. The application fails at the check on ST25R3916_REG_AUX_DISPLAY_osc_ok at line 287. To bypass this, I commented out the check, which allowed the application to run, but it still does not detect any tags. Here’s what I’ve observed:With ST25R_SELFTEST defined in st25r3916.c, I see a 400 µsec pulse on the IRQ line when the application starts, and it runs without errors. However, no further pulses or signals are observed on the IRQ line afterward. When I define ST25R_SELFTEST_TIMER in st25r3916.c, the initialization fails on the second test at line 232, and I do not observe any pulse on the IRQ line at all.I would greatly appreciate any advice or recommendations

Hello, I am looking for the BSDL files for the processors of the STM32H757I-EVAL board and the STM32H755 processor. Thanks in advance!

This is my first time posting.Thank you for viewing. ・I would like to use the VL53L5A1 sensor with the STM32L0 series.・Created according to the manufacturer's document "UM2974".・When I created it with STM32CubeMX Ver6.11.0, the build did not pass. The device used is "NUCLEO-L010RB".・It says that "53l5a1_conf.h" does not exist, but is it not generated? I would like to know the solution.thank you.

Hi,I want to send sensor data from several sensors with STM32WB to another STM32WB (the main controller in my system). Unfortunately I only find examples where communication is established between STM32WB and a smartphone or similar, but not with a STM32WB as the "central".Is there any example / hints?Best regards,Achim

uint8_t rx_buffer[32], rx_flag, rx_index, rx_data, RxData[32];   void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { if (huart->Instance==USART1) { //if the data is not being received, clear the buffer if(rx_index ==0) { for (int i=0; i<20; i++) { rx_buffer[i]=0; } } //if the character received is other than 'enter' ASCII13, save the data in buffer if(rx_data!=13) { rx_buffer[rx_index++]=rx_data; } else { rx_index=0; rx_flag=1; // turn the rx_flag 'ON' HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, rx_buffer, sizeof(rx_buffer), 100); // transmit the data via UART } HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart1, &rx_data, 1); // restart the interrupt reception mode & receive only 1 char at a time!   }   }I declared a 32byte rx_buffer[], when I send more than 32 Bytes, the board couldn't receive any more serial data through interrupts! Attached my sample callback function and code inside that portion!Regards,Thangz

Is there like a general rule or guide to find these specific RMs and ANs? Or is more like find it and save it for future use?

We need to perform some SPICE (LTSpice most likely) simulation of analog circuitry using the STM32L4 OpAmp (TQFP package not BGA).I can only find this IBIS model, which will not help me much for this analog case, and not the SPICE model, which would help a lot.Where could I find the Spise Model of the STM32L4 OpAmp when used as "standalone" will all the IO pins output on MCU external pins (both in "normal mode" and "low power mode") ? Would it be possible to get it or to get support to create it ?Thanks.

Hello, Am working on a code to control a robot and receive data from IMUs on the robot using NUCLEO-L4R5ZI-P. In high-accuracy ODR mode, can the frequency of writing to the fifo be automatically aligned, for example 960 to 1000hz

Hi Team,I searched sensor fusion performance information of LSM9DS1TR, LSM6DSO IMUs as below,1. Static Accuracy (Yaw, Pitch, Roll) = ?2. Dynamic Accuracy (Yaw, Pitch, Roll) = ?3. Orientation Settling time = sec? However, I did not find it in the respective datasheets. I need to know the accuracy of the IMU from ST. Could anyone share the above details?

Hi,Can somebody please suggest me a ToF sensor with signal sampling rate of atleast 1MhZ. Thank you

Hello, I'm a little confused about the SPI communication. I tried to get the MCP2515 working with the STM32, but I end up at the beginning because I can't read data from the SPI. Both the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive and HAL_SPI_Receive functions give me STATUS_OK, but an empty Rx buffer. I have tried to link MOSI and MISO together to isolate MCP2515, but no luck, zero data. This code has generated the graphs from the oscilloscope below, but the rx buffer is still empty: HAL_GPIO_WritePin(CAN_CS_GPIO_Port, CAN_CS_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); uint8_t spitesttx[2]; uint8_t spitestrx[2]; spitesttx[0] = 0xAA; spitesttx[1] = 0x55; HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive(&hspi3,spitesttx, spitestrx, 2, 10); SPI_rx1 = spitestrx[0]; SPI_rx2 = spitestrx[1]; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(CAN_CS_GPIO_Port, CAN_CS_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); Scope of 1-CS, 4-CLK and 3-MOSI/MISO wire. My SPI configuration:   hspi3.Instance = SPI3; hspi3.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi3.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi3.Ini

In STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.16.0 can not remove the breakpoints:Not by "Run/Remove All Breakpoints", not by "Toggle Breakpoint".Hard to see - is breakpoint set or not!Menu item "Remove Breakpoint" is missing! How to get around this bug?
