Hello ST Community,I was trying to use USBX with ThreadX and it worked. So far so good. But in our project, we will use FreeRTOS and after some research and getting in touch with some people, I learned that I can not use USBX with FreeRTOS. So they suggested to me to use USBX StandAlone. I'm now trying using USBX CDC ACM class in standalone mode. I inited USBX, my virtual comport appears in the device manager. I tried to send data from discovery kit to my PC with this function "_ux_device_class_cdc_acm_write_run" and I could send it. After one try, i tried to send again but this time it didnt send and this function "_ux_device_class_cdc_acm_write_run" returned "UX_STATE_WAIT".  I debugged the code, examine the transmit process. After transmit an interrupt occured and these flags are set;   transfer_request -> ux_slave_transfer_request_completion_code = UX_SUCCESS; /* The transfer is completed. */ transfer_request -> ux_slave_transfer_request_status

Hi, i have write a code to erase data of internal flash memory of the MCU. But when i  debug it,a page(tab) pops up with the following message: No source available for "<signal handler called>() at 0xfffffffe" . And i can't any longer debug. I use the MCU: STM32L4P5ZGTXP_FLASHIDE: STM32CubeIDE STM32CubeIDE ,Version: 1.16.0 My code comes from an example code of STM32. --------------AN EXTRACT OF THE CODE------------- main.c // if( __HAL_FLASH_INSTRUCTION_CACHE_DISABLE() != HAL_OK)//added // { // BSP_Error_Handler(genFuncLTDC_TRANSFER_ERROR); ////////////////////////////////////////// // } /* Unlock the Flash to enable the flash control register access *************/ HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); /* Erase the user Flash area (area defined by FLASH_USER_START_ADDR and FLASH_USER_END_ADDR) ***********/ /* Get the 1st page to erase */ FirstPage = GetPage(FLASH_USER_START_ADDR); /* Get the number of pages to erase from 1st page */ NbOfPages = GetPage(FLASH

I can use the fx_directory_create() api to create a single directory level.  However I cannot seem to create a directory with sub folders with a single call.  For example, I can create the directory "TestDirectory", but I cannot create "TestDirectory/Folder1".  The API example shows only a single level, but I could do such a thing with FAT FS f_mkdir() so the presumption is I can do this with fx_directory_create(), however all that I have tried have not work.  Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so, what should the syntax be for the directory name string.  Thanks,Hab

Hi all,we have a customer hardware with ISM330IS sensor on .We want to implement a pedometer on it like in the ISM330DHCX. Is it possible ?I followed the repo ism330is-pid/ism330is_reg.c at 413acfb51fd6f81a7449980a1caf286e37c909fe · STMicroelectronics/ism330is-pid (github.com) but it seems to not include it !Instead I see it for ISM330DHCX (STMicroelectronics/ism330dhcx-pid: ism303dhcx platform independent driver based on Standard C language and compliant with MISRA standard (github.com))  Can I use that code too ?

STM32H745 datasheet says:RTC_OUT can come out PB2 port. No other port is listed in the DS for RTC_OUT. See table 8, page 62. RTC_OUT also listed in table 10, page 90, and note for PC13, page 92.STM32H745 reference manual says:RTC_OUT can be directed to PC13 or PB2, with PB2 not being useful in standby/VBAT modes. See table 387, page 2081.Okay, so which document is correct? My instincts say the RM likely is correct, but building PCBs based on instinct will end up costing you someday, so I want the documents to be clear and consistent.

Hi everyone!I'm evaluating STSPIN32G4 for driving a small 6 kRPM 28-pole PMSM (up to about 30A load current - it's driving a propeller, 0.06 mH inductance, about 160 kV). Generally the performance is quite good, but I have noticed frequent STOPLL faults above a certain RPM. I tried many different tunes for the STOPLL but it didn't resolve the issue, and I went deeper. Turns out, above a certain RPM (~5k) bursty artifacts begin to appear in current measurement (In I_A, I_B and everything "above" it) and BEMF reconstruction becomes unreliable which I think upsets the STOPLL phase detector. This only happens:above a specific RPM on a loaded motorappears roughly where overmodulation starts to kick inthe "critical" RPM after it starts to appear go down if PWM frequency is increased I'm guessing it has something to do with the timing of current sampling (it probably samples the current at an invalid interval? or is it because of the distortion introduced by overmodulation?), and wou

While I am trying to write data in flash in memory it isn't being updated in the particular memory location while checking in debug session. And memory locations are showing 00000000 by default instead of FFFFFFFF and the image for same is attached hereby.I have also added one file named FLASH_PAGE.c which is also attached hereby. Kindly provide some solution for this issue.

basically, qspi is know to operate in memory mapped mode. where,fmc_nor flash used to operate in what? is the nand flash is only operates on non memoey mapped mode, where memory needs some driver to access . please, clear this doubt best regards, jr_mbed_engr

Hello, I and using Touchgfx in my project. I want to implement below.1) During run time , I want to to turn off complete screen.2) During run time , I want to change complete screen.3) I want to generate QR code dynamically and also want to clear it sometimes during run time. I got github link and added those files in my project. Still I am not sure how to call it. You have mentioned to call qrCode.setXY(0,0) , qrCode.setQRCode(&code), qrCode.setScale(4) , add(qrCode) methods but I am unable to find it.Can any one please help ?

Hello,The LIS2DUX12 datasheet clearly states that "12.1.3 FSM_START_ADD_L (58h) and FSM_START_ADD_H (59h) FSM start address register (R/W). First available address is 0x35C.".The default address in MEMS-studio is 0x0200. In the FSM examples on GitHub, the address also is the same: 0x0200.Why are these addresses different and which one is correct?

I've tried to use VL53L0X API, but it is too confusing. The API package STSW-IMG005 lacks any proper guidelines how to use API. The source file vl53l0x_platform results in one or another error.i'm unable to my own code VL53L0X as register map is not properly available in datasheet. Tried to explore discussion forums but unable to find any relevant solution. The problem i'm experiencing with API is How to link I2C write and Read operations with API function callsKindly guide me.i'm using STM32F103 and IAR workbench.Regards

How can add an external LSE oscillator to the STM32C011F4U6TR device as described in the datasheet (page 53)?I'm not able to find OSC32_IN and OSC32_OUT in the pin assignment. Instead, I've found OSC32_EN (pin1 of STM32C011F4U6TR) but I'm not understand what it is for.Could anyone clarify this?Gaston

Hello,I am using touchGFX4.16 designer, in windows 10.I want to display dynamic QR code generated from URL. I've tried to look for solutions like1) Generating QR code from external library & then displaying it on display.2)QR code widget is there in touchgfx4.24.Is it possible to migrate touchGFX4.16 project to touchGFX4.24. to achieve the above. Can any one please help?

Hi, I have an issue on STM32H7B3I-DK, I am not able to flash code, I atleast want to perform full erase, but I am getting " Error: Connection to target must be established before performing the erase command." error.Fig: STM32CubeProgrammer.Fig: Trying to erase the board. But still getting the above error.Anything else can I do on this board.

I have a CubeIDE project for a H743IITx board and an LCD and I added Touchgfx. The Touchgfx 4.24 contains the typical demo that switches between two screens. It runs fine in the simulator. I refreshed the project and it added all the necessary folders/files. Touchgfx is installed on the PC and the package was added inside the CubeIDE manager. As you can see in the screenshot, there are a lot of red underlined files when I attempt to build the project. There are about 240 errors.Usually, when so much code is underlined, it's a matter of missing libraries due to some kind of incomplete setup. However, I don't know what is wrong. I followed the documentation setup as well as different videos on youtube and actually the initial setup is not that complex.Any ideas what could be missing?

Hi All,I have a 50MHz clock with 1Vpp and the MAC is not working. The only information I have from the RM and datasheet is this is a digital input pin and never mentioned about the voltage level. Please help what is the clock pulse VPP for RMII reference clock pin ?Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone!I am trying to write a custom external loader for a custom board that has the STM32U5A9 microcontroller.I tried following the guide from this forum post: How to implement and use your own external flash loader: An example using STM32U5A9J-DK and from the GitHub repository found here: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader.With those, I was able to build an external loader that is visible and usable in the STM32CubeProgrammer tool. However, every operation on the external memories when using it failed as I received errors that the operations could not be done.So I set up to create a new project from the ground up by generating the STM32CubeIDE project from a STM32CubeMX project file and altering it to fit my needs. Again, I can get the build output to be usable by the STM32CubeProgrammer tool but this time I just stubbed the memory access functions so that they always return LOADER_OK (0x1). Even when configuring that each operation sho

Hello, i am trying to reproduce this demonstration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IVs-nuoXj8&t=439s on a custom WB55 board (WB55CGU6). In the video, the advertising consumes about 10 mA. In my case, it is close to 20 mA.    I though changing the CFG_TX_POWER would help, but it does not change the consumption. How to actually set the TX power of the BLE transceiver? Getting the consumption down to 10 mA would really help. #define CFG_TX_POWER (0x19) /* 0dBm */ #define CFG_BLE_MIN_TX_POWER (0) #define CFG_BLE_MAX_TX_POWER (0) There are 3 parameters in app_conf.h, which are a bit confusing and I wonder how they differ.

Hello,Please, I would like to know if Edge Impulse is compatible with the STM32H747-DISCO, and more specifically, if the FOMO model can be deployed in this board.Best regards

We are looking for a way to reduce programming time of STM32WB55CGU6TR.The issue we are facing is the need to program 2 different files , one for the FUS (firmware updatee service) and then another file for the main application. We need a way to speed up the programming process, one way would be to find a way to combine both files into one and program only one file.We are currently using 1.16.0 ble stackstm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_extended_fw.bin  Please help

HelloWe are developing a LoRa product using the STM32WLE5JC, and firmware package v1.3.0.We would like to enable multiple regions. From the STM32CubeIDE we open the .ioc file, which opens up the configuration GUI. There we have the possibility of enabling multiple regions. We have chosen this antenna for the application. When multiple regions are chosen, how does this setting work exactly? Specifically, how does it work in relation to the "Active region" setting. Even though multiple regions are chosen, there can only be one active region. What is the purpose of the "Enable Hybrid mode" setting? With multiple regions enabled - consider this scenario: if a device is in the EU and then moves to the US, how will that work? With multiple regions enabled, would a sensible implementation be then to implement a downlink message to set the "active region"?Thanks

Im using the stm32f407 discovery to run I2C in fastmode (400kHz), using the equation given in the datasheet, I choose the system clock to be 120Mhz, so I have 30Mhz pclk for I2C. duty cycle T_low/T_high = 2, so CCR is 25d, T_rise is 300ns so that would result in 10d. But the clock doesn't be 400kHz, it keep changing at 333kHz or 500kHz. sorry for my bad english, appreciate for any help.

Hi Team, I am Using NUCLEO-F767ZI board for Ethernet interface. After all Ethernet configuration. The code shows lots of error which is attached below. Guide me how to rectify this error, what mistake I was done during configuration and programming. This picture gives the detail of ethernet configuration. In LWIP I enabled the HTTPD_USE_CUSTOM_FSDATA (Custom FS Data)  in the HTTPD section.Below picture shows the list of error after build the code.Thank YouregardsRamachandran S

Hi,I have made some PCBs with STM32L452 and written firmware for them for a client. They have been running late with a payment but being a new client and also having paid all other invoices on time and being easy to work with, I don't want to make a big deal out of it. But, at the same time, I want to make sure they clear the invoice asap. So would like to send them downloadable code (not the source code) via email so they can check it works exactly as per new agreed specs (just in case that is the reason why they might have delayed the payment) but also so that it works only for a limited time. Then I can send them the fully unlocked code when the invoice is cleared. Any suggestions on the simplest way to do that without wasting much time writing a lot of code? Perhaps there are some freeware libraries I can use? Thank you
