[Not a bug report, explanation below, first post kept for context]I'm writing a USB host library for the STM32H743 rev V. Bits PENA and PENCHNG of register OTG_HPRT represent Port enable and Port enable/disable change. Port enable is supposed to be a status bit - can't be set, can be reset which disables the port, or is reset when the port is disabled because of a disconnect.PENCHNG is supposed to be change detection bit about PENA, gets set to 1 whenever PENA change, optionally triggers an interrupt via a chain of interrupt-aggregating register. PENCHNG is supposed to be reset when it causes an interrupt. This reset is supposed to be accomplished by writing 1 to this bit, as per the datasheet. PENA is also described as rc_w1 (clearable by writing 1) but that's probably a mistake.Except, writing 1 to PENCHNG doesn't clear PENCHNG, it clears PENA, and disables the port. Writing 1 to PENCHNG a second time (when PENA is 0) sets PENCHNG to 0 as expected. This makes it impossible to clear t

I'm using the STM32F769DI and the SMT32cCube for a project which will be using the CMSIS DSP libraries in a computationally demanding application. My C code is set for fast optimisation. __FPU_USED and FPU_PRESENT are set. ARM_MATH_CM7 is defined. I compare two blocks of simple float32 multiplication using the CMSIS library and a simply loop. I'm linking in the arm_cortexM7lfdp_math library from the GCC directory. I can check the timing with a scope on LED2.// 711 usBSP_LED_On(LED2);arm_mult_f32(x, y, z, 10000);BSP_LED_Off(LED2);// 50 usBSP_LED_On(LED2);for (int k = 0; k < 10000; k++) { z[k] = x[k] * y[k];}BSP_LED_Off(LED2);Does anyone have any insight into why the simple for loop should be so much faster than the SIMD based CMSIS library. Is there some additional initialisation necessary? That I've missed. I've tried compiling the CMSIS library into my own library but realised pretty much the same results?

Hi,Does ST provide the S-Parameters model for the RF pins of the STM32WLE5 device in order to use it in AWR Micro wave office simulation of the RF chain of a board ? Thanks,Viola

We use ST25NFC_Embedded_Lib_ST25R3911B_1.6.0 for our current project. There are some example inside. In most example in stm32l4xx_hal_msp.c are the following code: GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_All & (!(GPIO_PIN_3));HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &GPIO_InitStruct); But & (!(GPIO_PIN_ should be & (~(GPIO_PIN_Please fix this in next release.Otherwise an assert inside HAL_GPIO_Init trigger because GPIO_PIN_All & (!(GPIO_PIN_3)) results to 0Do you ever test your code with assert_param() enabled?

I saw at least one person elsewhere mention this (but got no answers). On the STM32H503 (LQFP48 pin package)...This configuration:HAL_RCC_MCOConfig(RCC_MCO1, RCC_MCO1SOURCE_HSE, RCC_MCODIV_5);Produces no output on the MCO1 pinbut changing it to this:HAL_RCC_MCOConfig(RCC_MCO1, RCC_MCO1SOURCE_HSI48, RCC_MCODIV_1);generates an output (albeit, not terribly accurate, which is expected from that source). In fact, I tried every other source setting and they all work except PLL1Q.PLL1 is configured as:HSE=24Mhz crystalM= /12, N=x250, Q = /2, and MCO divider = /5  So output should be 50MHzI confirmed that the HAL is setting the register correctly (RCC_CFGR -> MCO1SEL == 0x011) via SWD.I see nothing in the Errata on this---is there a silicon bug here?

Hii,I am working with stm32f100 series microcontroller, where I am having issue with NRST pin, I have connected a capacitor of 0.1uF(also tried 10uF) between NRST pin and ground. Microcontroller has an internal pullup. and it is showing 3.3V at the terminal which is correct. but after connecting the programmer, when I am trying to load my program, there is a sudden fall in voltage at NRST(checked with oscilloscope) for just a millisecond. and this is disconnecting my board with the programmer. I am using STM32CubeProgrammer. how to resolve this.I have not connected the WDG circuit to NRST.The error I am getting , I have attached below.

I want to run ethercat master on stm32H7 series.who know how to do?have example?

Hi everyone,I'm new to working with STM32, and I've been using a custom board designed with the STM32C0 MCU to work with various peripherals. Now, I'm looking to create custom LoRaWAN sensor nodes that can measure data from sensors using ADC and transmit the values via LoRaWAN to a gateway. However, I'm finding the LoRaWAN stack quite complex compared to my previous experience. Previously, I was mainly editing the code generated by CubeMX in the `main.c` file and occasionally in `app_main.c` for added modularity. Now that I'm transitioning to the STM32WL series, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. While I'm following the "Getting Started" series from ST, it doesn't cover how to use the peripherals or where to edit the code in detail. Does anyone have advice on how to approach this or where I can find resources to help? Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to use the DSP Library on the STM32WLE5CCU6 and some error messages appear on STM32CubeIDE. I have the same code tested and running on STM32F103C8T6 and STM32F407VET6 without any problem.STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.14.0 Build: 19471_20231121_1200 (UTC)STM32CubeMX Version 6.10.0STM32CubeWL Firmware Package v1.3.0 / 09-November-2022STMicroelectronics.X-CUBE-ALGOBUILD DSP Library Library 1.3.0I'm seriously thinking about switching to using any other STM32 with an external SX1262 chip via SPI interface than the STM32WL with its related libraries. The LoRa middleware is impossible to work with, I am forced to provide an UART interface  (Why not use SWV / ITM interface ?) and the ADC , I cannot disable it.This kind of thing sometimes makes me think about giving up on ST!

Hi, I have a program running on a STM32U083RCT that is raising a HardFault when running at full speed, but when stepping through the code using a debugger the code appears to run correctly. I have a transceiver device connected to to USART2. I have also tried a different transceiver and USART1. I'm also doing DMA ADC conversions. SP appears to remain at the same location during execution. I also two other fault conditions occurring are NMI or the debugger loses connection with:         Target is not responding, retrying...           I have tried to get the minimum program to repeat the issue the following is the code works, however if I enable DMA for ADC1 I immediately get a NMI. I don't need to use DMA for the ADC, but it would be nice to understand what I am doing wrong.           /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @

Hi. I am using NUCLE-F439ZI board STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.16.0Build: 21983_20240628_1741 (UTC) Lately I am experiencing problem, when I make changes in .IOC file and save and generate code it is messing my main.c file. It is copying big portion of main.c lines and adding them again in main.c file. It is impossible to continue working. Is this a setting problem or a bug in the software? Please help. Thank you. In STM32Cube FW_H7 version 1.11.1, UDP performance was normal, but in version 1.11.2, it fails to handle all transmitted and received packets. (STM32CubeMX Version 6.12.0) Except for the STM32Cube H7 firmware version, all configurations and source code are identical.   - In STM32Cube FW_H7 version 1.11.1.   - In STM32Cube FW_H7 version 1.11.2.   The configuration (without RTOS) of my project is below.   How do I fix this? Should I use version 1.11.1 temporarily? Or will this issue be fixed in the future?

I need to generate 3 PWM signals with the same frequency and referencing the same start point (so sort of synchronised) but with different duty cycles and delays before the pulse, like this:I'm using a STM32G474CEU6 MCU and STM32CubeIDE.I've spent days trying to figure out how to achieve this and so far failed.  I've had partial success with the top two (green and blue) traces by configuring a timer with centre-aligned PWM and two channels with different duty cycles.  That almost matches my requirement but it would be better if the start and end points of the blue pulse could be configured so they are not necessarily equi-distant from the start and end of the green pulse.  I've had no success with the red PWM trace. All help much appreciated.

We need ROHS compliance documents for (STM811SW16F, ESDA25W5, TSC214ICT) these part numbers, can you please share the document for further use.

Hi folks,I have a Projekt on an STM32G431CBU. The programm runs without erros in DEBUG mode as well as in RELEASE Mode, when I flash it from the CubeIDE. For me this means the binaries are OK.But if I want to flash the ELF-Files to the MCU with Cube Programmer I get an error message, saying that "xxxxx.ELF" is not a valid ELF file?!I am using CubeIDE Version: 1.14.0and Cube Programmer 2.14.0 Has anyone experienced similar issues and maybe a solution for me? Thanks and have a good one!Chris

Hello,I am using a Riverdi RVT101HVSNWC00 board (with STM32H757) for a product that needs a display, interfaces to devices, and writes data to a microSD card. After communicating with Riverdi, I gathered the correct SDMMC1 configuration to make the peripheral work and allow the Cortex-M7 core to write data to the filesystem on the SD card. M7 is completely functional with the SD card. However, the software architecture I would like to implement requires that the Cortex-M4 core be responsible for the SD card. I cannot get the M4 to even initialize the SDMMC1 peripheral no matter what I do.I have SDMMC1 enabled for only the M4 core in CubeMX, with the correct peripheral, DMA, and FatFs configuration. When M4 calls MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init(), execution eventually comes to HAL_SD_InitCard() in stm32h7xx_hal_sd.c. This then calls HAL_RCCEx_GetPeriphCLKFreq(RCC_PERIPHCLK_SDMMC), which returns 0 because HAL_IS_BIT_SET(RCC->CR, RCC_CR_PLL1RDY) returns false (bit not set) at stm32h7xx_hal_rcc_ex.c

Hi,I am working on the STM32WB55 with FreeRTOS and using the BLE stack on CPU2. Now, I need to implement STOP mode for the entire MCU. Ideally, I would like to put CPU1 into either RUN or STOP0 mode. I am used to handling this on simpler MCUs like the STM32L0xx. Is there anything specific I should be aware of with the STM32WB55?I am working with CubeMX, and I noticed it generated files such as stm32_lpm.c and stm32_lpm_if.c. I assume these are meant to be used for my power management requirements.RUN mode is clear to me — everything runs at full speed.I want to use STOP mode to minimize power consumption, and I know I should only enter this mode when BLE is turned off (e.g., no Advertising, etc.).I plan to wake up from STOP mode using either PC13 - EXTI or the RTC.If I call the function e_BLE_AppResult BLE_AppTurnOff(void), can I then put CPU1 to sleep in the same way as, for example, the STM32L0?Thanks for your help!

My MP157DAC board encountered some problems using SDKv5.0, u-boot could not be started correctly when using usb burning, it seems to be related to DDR, but I can not find the reason, the community does not have similar problems, hope to get some help: DRAM: E/TC:0 tzc_it_handler:79 TZC permission failureE/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:417 Overrun violation on filter 0E/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:420 Permission violation on filter 0E/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:425 Violation @0xfdb16fb0, non-secure privileged read, AXI ID 4a0

I tried to use eclipse to compile the STSW-ST25PC002 source code but encountered the problem in the attached picture. How to solve it?

Hello,A project generated using FreeRTOS CMSIS V1 compiles and works, but the same project using CMSIS V2 does not compile.freertos_mpool.h is missing while it is present in projects using the F4 family. It looks that this old issue has been solved for some family but not for all.

I need to externally generate image for my project. as touchGFX documentation mentioned that I can do that using imageconvert.out. when I followed the instructions of how I should use the engine (https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/working-with-touchgfx/using-ides-with-touchgfx.). it didn't work as it supposed to be. any ideas of how I should use it properly?

We are starting a new project which requires TouchGFX. However our project will be leveraging a significant portion of our existing code. Thus I have some questions relating to how TouchGFX uses the hardware CRC.Can you confirm whether TouchGFX requires the hardware CRC?Assuming the answer to the question above is Yes, see my followup questions. Can TouchGFX and the STM Crytpolibrary work concurrently, without me having to load/restore the hardware CRC registers. Can you explain when TouchGFX expect the CRC module so we can correctly provide concurrent behavior to all parts of our software? We currently use the hardware CRC + Crytpolibrary concurrently in our software. We accomplish good behavior by load and restore the CRC registers before/after the Crytpolibrary uses it.

Hello, I need to make 10 samples via Tim13 and PWM in STM32H7. I implemented the next script, but finally, on the oscilloscope, I saw about 50 samples every 0.1 sec. Do you know, how easily control the number of samples for Timer in stm32?       #include "main.h" TIM_HandleTypeDef htim13; void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MPU_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_TIM13_Init(void); int main(void) { MPU_Config(); HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_TIM13_Init(); uint32_t sample_counter = 0; #define SAMPLE_COUNT 10 TIM13->PSC = 0; // No prescaling TIM13->ARR = 1; // Minimum possible period TIM13->CCR1 = 1; // 50% duty cycle TIM13->RCR = 0; // No repetition TIM13->CCMR1 |= (6 << 4);// PWM Mode 1 (not 2, as we want the output to be high when CNT < CCR1) TIM13->CR1 &= ~TIM_CR1_OPM; // Disable One-pulse mode (we want continuous operation) TIM13->CCER |= 1; // Capture/Compare 1 Enable TIM1

HI, For testing and debugging FMC_norflash(MT28EW01aba) with custom h753 board, I used h743i-eval example as it is for read,write,erase, hence, i could read Manufactring code in memory browser, but in live expression i see address is different, so, where should i check for proper tx and rx data to be match. #include "main.h" #include "stm32h7xx_hal.h" #include "stdio.h" #define BUFFER_SIZE ((uint32_t)0x1000) // Buffer size for read/write operations #define NOR_BANK_ADDR ((uint32_t)0x60000000) // Base address of the NOR flash #define ERASE_TIMEOUT 0x00A00000U // Timeout for erase operation #define PROGRAM_TIMEOUT 0x00001000U // Timeout for program operation #define WRITE_READ_ADDR ((uint32_t)0x8000) // Address offset for read/write operations #define MANUFACTURER_CODE ((uint16_t)0x0089) // Expected Manufacturer code #define DEVICE_CODE1 ((uint16_t)0x227E) // Expected Device code 1 #define DEVICE_CODE2 ((uint16_t)0x2221) // Expected Device code 2 #define DEVICE_CODE3

I created a project with multiple screens and i want to recceive data and display them on the 4th screen so i created a task and a queue . I followed the MVP model and  int the model class i put the code in the tick function but when i run the code these errors appers
