Hello, I am trying to enable the Mailbox functionality on ST25DV64KC-DISCO board. I am using the NFCTap project,And inside it added my own storyboard and a View controller. This view controller first detects a tag at launch in view didload, then it fetches the mailbox status, and lastly it tries to enable mailbox with presentpassword api on which it crashes. I have also attached a screen cast. Please let me know if anyone faced a similar issue and can advice a solution.

I'm currently working on sending an HTTPS POST request using NetX Duo. However, I encounter a TLS-related error during the process. i am using cloudflare CA cert(CA works ok i did mqtts). #define NX_SECURE_TLS_UNSUPPORTED_TLS_VERSION 0x110 /* An incoming record had a valid TLS version, but one that isn't supported. */ Below is the relevant part of my code: tls_setup_callback static NX_SECURE_X509_CERT trusted_certificate; static NX_SECURE_X509_CERT remote_certificate, remote_issuer; static UCHAR remote_cert_buffer[4096]; static UCHAR remote_issuer_buffer[4096]; static UINT tls_setup_callback(NX_WEB_HTTP_CLIENT *client_ptr, NX_SECURE_TLS_SESSION *tls_session) { UINT status; /* Initialize and create TLS session. */ status = nx_secure_tls_session_create(tls_session, &nx_crypto_tls_ciphers, crypto_metadata_client, sizeof(crypto_metadata_client)); /* Check status. */ if (status) { return(status); } /* Allocate space for packet reassembly. */ status = nx_secure_tls_session_p

Hi,   Due to my mistake, when using the GUI tool to update the firmware, I mistakenly loaded the configuration file into both the PATCH and CONFIG sections. As a result, the chip is not functioning properly and cannot connect to the GUI tool. Is there any way to recover and reconnect to the GUI tool and update the firmware again?

I'm looking to program multiple STM32H723 chips on the same board through the same programming interface. I'm currently using SWD. I see in the documentation that multidrop is supported but I don't see any information about how to program the instance ID to be different across the different chips on the board. Is this possible? Or did ST also hardcode the instance ID to all 0s? If not possible with the H7 series, do you have any series that support changing the instance ID? Thank you

Upon triggering a notify event calling the following function "Custom_STM_App_Update_Char()", the STM32 successfully sends data, which I receive on my iPhone using ST BLE Toolbox. However, after that, the STM32 becomes unresponsive to further BLE requests. I can see that the system hasn't crashed, as it is continusouly calling "UTIL_SEQ_Idle".I am using a BLE application: server profile with a custom profile. I have already seen the other forum post titled "STM32WB55 Stops handling events after sending a notification" which sounds similar to this, but I am not deliberately pausing or stopping the sequencer at any point (as far as I'm aware).Another unusual thing I've noticed, is that every other characteristic has been given a handle for the function "Custom_STM_Event_Handler(void *Event)" in "custom_stm.c", which I am able to use to call other functions to handle thos events, however, for my notify event, I can only see handles for NOTIFY_ENABLED_EVT / NOTIFY_DISABLED_EVT which aren't

Hello,I am not receiving SPI interrupt on the NUCLEO-G491, and I would like some support. Here is the source code project.https://github.com/katsumat/STM32CubeIDE/tree/main/workspace_1.16.1/SPI Specifically, I would like to perform the following actions: single line name SPI connection. Here is the waveform for SPI1   I have set a breakpoint here at /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */, but it is not being hit.I have set a breakpoint at SPI2_IRQHandler, but it is not being hit. Could you advise me on why the interrupt is not occurring?

Hello,I have a board with a STM32U575RGTX CPU, and i use SPI1 with a 2.8" TFT ILI9341 Display.I got problems with the GPDMA1 configuration, and need help.main.c:  int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_GPDMA1_Init(); MX_CRC_Init(); MX_TIM2_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init(); MX_ICACHE_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ _lcd = ili9341_new(&hspi1, LCD_RESET_GPIO_Port, LCD_RESET_Pin, LCD_NSS_GPIO_Port, LCD_NSS_Pin, LCD_DC_GPIO_Port, LCD_DC_Pin, isoLandscape, LCD_CS_GPIO_Port,LCD_CS_Pin, LCD_IRQ_GPIO_Port, LCD_IRQ_Pin, itsNONE, itnNormalized);

I have a hardware trigger that needs to change a scene (think a Home button but I cannot use a hardware key event).I am trying to change the scene for days but I cannot find a working solution. The best looking solution was this: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-touchgfx-and-gui/how-to-implement-quot-switchscreen-quot-in-touchgfx/m-p/384809Using this method crashes the code. Well technically the code is stuck in this loop in syscalls.c: void _exit (int status) { _kill(status, -1); while (1) {} /* Make sure we hang here */ }  My code in the model is like this: void Model::tick() { uint16_t buttonState = getButtonState(16); if (buttonState != previousButtonState) { if (modelListener != 0) { modelListener->onButtonStateChange(buttonState); } if (static_cast<ButtonEnum>(buttonState) == ButtonEnum::MENU) { static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(Application::getInstance())->gotoSplashScreenScreenNoTransition(); } previousButtonState =

Hello,I am using STM32G491 FDCAN modules 1 and 2 in bare metal. While everything works perfectly on CAN2 the interrupt on CAN1 is constantly disabled. And I do not mean the flags but the actual interrupt does not fire. Each time the interrupt for CAN2 fires, the interrupt from CAN1 is disabled. When I read out the register NVIC->ISER[0] after initialization then I can see bits 6 (EXTI0) and 21 (FDCAN1_IT0) are set. Once FDCAN2 interrupt fires these two bits are reset to 0. I need to enable them again in the ISR of CAN2. How can this happen? How can the interrupt simply be disabled by a different interrupt?

Please see:https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32/issues/2585#issuecomment-2517922666 I am stuck, being unable to use the device as a I2C slave.

Hello,I am currently working with the TouchGFX Designer tool and have successfully created a simulator project. I would now like to migrate this project to the STM32H7S78-DK board but am unsure of the necessary steps or adjustments required.Could you please guide me through the migration process?Board: STM32H7S78-DKTouchGFX Version: 4.21.1IDE: STM32CubeIDEThank you!Mehul

Hi, I developed an application using the stm32wb5mm-dk. Everything works until I try to use an external 5V power supply. In fact, I change the position of JP2 on position 7-8 (to select 5V EXT) and I soldered SB4. However, when I supply the board through CN8, LD2 is on, JP1 is at 3.3V but the application on the STM32WB seems not to being run. If I provide power also through the USB STLK, it seems to start running. Is there any other JP or SB to adjust for extenal 5V supply? Thanks.

Hi, I am having STM32U575ZI-Q development board. I have implemented a firmware with FreeRTOS with low power support where the firmware goes to the low power mode and unless there is an external interrupt, it stays in a low power mode. Now, I want to measure the current ocnsumption when the MCU goes to the sleep mode (STOP2 mode specifically). Is there anyway I can measure the current from the STM32Cube IDE or any addtional board that can be interfaced with the development board?

I have a STM32F411 board connected with a GPS module connected onto USART2I also have Tim1 and Tim3 configured for PWM generation on their channels respectively.I am running a list of commands (from an array) to execute line for line. Most of the execution is in the form of assigning new values to the Timer channelsEg: __HAL_TIM_SET_COMPARE(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_2, motor1_speed); Motor speed is a variable assigned from the list. As the program executes the list (by iterating  line for line, these variables get assigned those values.)The GPS on the other hand is being polled via USART2The problem is that I need both the execution of the array as well as the GPS to continue running. However, the array execution is causing a "blocking issue". I have about 15 lines of instructions in the executing array. The GPS will only work AFTER ALL the commands of the array has been executed due to its blocking issue.I investigated from many sources who advised:Use RTOS - this did not work. It st

Hello everyone, I am working with the stm32h755 and I'd like to move data from spi3 rx (D2 domain) to my AXI SRAM (D1 domain) with the DMA controller DMA1. I am a bit confused by what I am reading and I can't really figure out if this cross domain transfer is possible with DMA1. Regards,

Hi,I am working on SBSFU with stm32L476 Nucleo Board I am following the steps of Tutorial Security Part6 - STM32 security ecosystem - 02 Building the SBSFUI have Download Stm32CubeExpansion_SBFU_V2.6 but which is the highlighted directory are missing please provide URL to download. BR,Raj

Hello,I have a question need your help!About :MCU L431(80MHz),SPI 5M,IC ST25R3916. NFC06A1I use "rfalNfcvPollerReadMultipleBlocks()" read two blocks at a time, but I found that it takes 9 ms to read successfully. How can I shorten this time?

When I used V4.3.1 before, there was a "5 Emulator" step, but it doesn't exist in V4.6.0.Is Emulator no longer available?

Hi, I would like to evaluated ADC of STM32H745. I would like to have 12bit 5.12MHz dual ADC. According to my understanding, I need to use model STM32H745II in 176 pin UFBGA to obtain ADC performance. Is there any board like nucleo, which can be used for evaluation?

Hi,I have some flexbuttons in a container.I'd like to change let's say the border size of all flexbuttons inside that container when one flexbutton is pressed. Is there a way to do it with some kind of foreach loop ? like: for each item in the container, if the item is a flexbutton, item.changeBorderSize(10);thanks!

I am a newborn to this whole side of techI am running Windows 11I have bluepill that I am trying to run the bluepill diagnostics fromhttps://mecrisp-stellaris-folkdoc.sourceforge.io/bluepill-diags-v1.640.html#bluepill-diags-v1-640I am using a STLINKv2 USB clone and flashed the bluepill diagnostics to the bluepillI am now attempting to connect to the bluepill to run the diagnosticsInitially I tried to use the connection via the STLinkv2 adapter but do not see a new COM port for it (Intel Active MGMT is COM3)I then thought the mini-usb may be where I need to connect to but also with no joy in connecting or seeing a new COM portAny idea what I am missing

I think these pinned topics are no longer "news", and should be un-pinned? @Amel NASRI

Hello, now I will record 32 GPIO's via DMA for the analyse. The DMA itself shall triggered with a timer. So first I have found different information to solve this. So I have tested some solution, but on the STM32F756 will it not run.My solution is: GPIOD and GPIOE tranfer with two DMA streams to an public array. After the DMA transmition complete I will start the ISR to switch the buffer. At the moment, the DMA transfer is not started. The timer runs, but the NTDR register is not changed. Here my configuration for the DMA and timer: /* DMA1 inititialisation */ LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_DMA1); NVIC_SetPriority(DMA1_Stream1_IRQn, NVIC_EncodePriority(NVIC_GetPriorityGrouping(),0, 0)); NVIC_EnableIRQ(DMA1_Stream1_IRQn); NVIC_SetPriority(DMA1_Stream2_IRQn, NVIC_EncodePriority(NVIC_GetPriorityGrouping(),0, 0)); NVIC_EnableIRQ(DMA1_Stream2_IRQn); /* TIM2 initialisation */ LL_TIM_InitTypeDef TIM_InitStruct = {0}; LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_TIM2); L

Hello,Any access to the calibration memory addresses of the analogue temperature sensor or the internal reference causes a hard fault if ICACHE is enabled. Here is an example:ui16Temp = __HAL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE(0x0BF0, ADC_RESOLUTION_12B); MX_ICACHE_Init (); ui16Temp = __HAL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE(0x0BF0, ADC_RESOLUTION_12B);Stepping in the debugger, we can see that the first operation gives the expected result. After enabling the ICACHE, we end up in a hard fault.I pass the fixed value 0x0BF0 just for testing purposes to skip all the ADC related stuff. My workaround is to store the calibration values in a global variable before enabling the ICACHE and use the variable instead of the memory addresses. Is there any other solution to this?Took me a few days to figure this out. Hope it helps someone.

Moved from MPUs forum as STM32F4 is an MCU. Hello, Im trying to write the USB code from scratch. I have written the code that enables and initializes the usb OTG and I can confirm that it receives SETUP packets in the RX FIFO.  I am receiving the GET_DESCRIPTOR request and i am trying to respond to it but I am unable to write in the TX FIFO in order to respond to the packages. I have followed and executed the steps in page 1368 ( IN data transfers , packet write). When i try to write to the FIFO using the memcyp command i am unable to confirm that the packet is indeed written in my FIFO and there is no change in the USB behavior ( appears as :Device Descriptor Request Failed in device manager after 10-30 seconds).  If i try to manually write the FIFO in 32 or 64 bits at a time, it doesn't work at all and i get to the Hard Fault Handler. The addresses i have tried to write packages to are 0x50001000 , 0x50002000 and 50001040 , nothing worked .
