Hello.I have  to develop a project with Riverdi STM embedded display (that uses STM32H757). In this project I have to read the USER NAME and the SERIAL NUMBER of GnuPG smart card. I started from AN4800 that is for GSM File system Smart Card but I don't understand how it works. I search on internet and GnuPG card is used by this library git.gnupg.org Git - gnupg.git/summary . Can someone support me? Someone has tried to use GnuPG card? Thankyou in advice.

Hello ST Community,I'm working on a Predictive Maintenance project using FP-SNS-DATALOG2 to capture real-time sensor data from my STWINBX1 (STEVAL-STWBXCS1A). Here’s my workflow so far:Data Acquisition: Captured sensor data using HSDatalog_GUI.Format Conversion: Converted data to NanoEdge CSV format using " hsdatalog_to_nanoedge.py ".NanoEdge Processing: Uploaded the converted data to NanoEdge AI Studio and successfully downloaded a benchmark.Model Training Issue:I connected my board via USB-C and STLINK-V3MINI (otherwise, my PC and NanoEdge wouldn’t detect it).My STLINK is properly recognized on COM3.However, when I try to train the model, NanoEdge AI Studio does not recognize the board—it detects nothing.Has anyone encountered this issue before? Could it be a driver issue, a missing configuration, or something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!@Andrew Neil @SimonePradolini

Hello everyone,As a students at a company do I try to build a tool or method to evaluate some parameters of NFC coils (Q and L). I have been given some NFC tags to proof the correct functionality later. One of those tags is the "ANT7-T-ST25DV04K" with a 14 mm x 14 mm, 13.56 MHz dual layer etched antenna. My problem is, I could not find any values for the quality factor (Q-factor) and the inductance L for this NFC coil. So, I would like to ask if anyone knows the Q-factor and/or the inductance L of this coil.Otherwise, if you know these parameters of an other NFC tag, it would help, too. Kind regards,STSD20 PS. Of course I have already looked in the product datasheet.

Hey ST,In the FW package that comes with the STM32H7S78-DK, I've been using the Template-XIP project as the base for my own project, and I noticed this issue with the MPU setup of the external SDRAM on the XSPI1 line. Whenver I would try and access memory above 4MB of the external ram chip, I would see a memory controller fault, and my Firmware would halt it's operation. In all of the MPU setup and extmem manager code, the size of this chip is always defined as "32MB". Which would be correct if this define was made for Bytes. But, Since it's an all caps define, I think what probably happened, is that all the defines are written in terms of MegaBits, Instead of MegaBytes, but are following an all caps convention. You can see this in the file stm32h7rsxx_hal_xspi.h:#define HAL_XSPI_SIZE_1MB (0x00000010U) /*!< 1 Mbits (128 KByte = 2^(16+1)) */ #define HAL_XSPI_SIZE_2MB (0x00000011U) /*!< 2 Mbits (256 KByte = 2^(17+1)) */ #define HAL_XSPI_SIZE_4MB (0x00000012U) /*!< 4 Mbits (512 KB

On the WL33 range of boards is it possible to utilise the MRSUBG without turning on the LSE within the RCC section and instead have the MRSUBG utilise the LSI?I have found that if you leave the LSE enabled in RCC but set the clock configuration to use the LSI the program still functions but I wonder if it's still utilising the LSE under the hood.

Win 10, x64, STM32CubeIDE version 1.17.0I'm trying to open a CubeIDE project from a workspace but it just doesn't load, see image below. I select the folder for my workspace, click finish & am then told that there are no projects in the folder. Yet the folder does contain a CubeIDE project. The open project option is also greyed out in the projects menu pull down. What am I missing here?

Hello everyone,I'm currently working on a USB Type‑C Power Delivery design using the STM32U575VGT6Q and the TCPP01‑M12. According to the TCPP01‑M12 datasheet and the example from the UM2581 STM32L5 Nucleo Board, the DB pin should be connected to a GPIO pin on the MCU.The MCU provides two DB signals to properly indicate a dead battery condition. Can these signals be used and fed to the TCPP01‑M12 DB pin? However, I cannot find any option in CubeMX to select or configure just one DB signal – it appears that this specific configuration is not available in the graphical interface.Has anyone encountered this issue?Should the second DB signal be connected together with the first one?Should I leave it unconnected or tie it to a defined potential? Is stacking of an external interrupt on the second DB signal a suitable workaround to use it for the FLT signal? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello everyone, I am currently starting my master thesis and i have to design a control loop for an inverter with the STM32 U545 RE-Q. I have started programming in STM32 a week ago so everything is complicated and overwhelming ... I am aware that there are multiple examples that i can download from every family of NUCLEOS but non of them have worked for me. I have tried the U575 example called ADC, where data from the ADC is written on the DMA, i have configured the IDE as in the example, created the Node, the Queue, etc... And i have literally copied the lines of code provided in the main.c file but it is not working. In fact, i can not compile as there are the following errors:../Core/Src/main.c:112:3: warning: implicit declaration of function 'MX_ADCQueue_Config' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]112 | MX_ADCQueue_Config(); ../Core/Src/main.c:114:56: error: 'ADCQueue' undeclared (first use in this function)114 | if (HAL_DMAEx_List_LinkQ(&handle_GPDMA1_Channel

HI everyone, I have recently bought a STM32N6570-DK and I am trying to follow this tutorial to try and implement an example model on my board. I am able to get results and good benchmark but when I go to Generate Your Project I am unable to download anything. It doesn't show any option to download the files.  I believe it have been should be something shown like this in the videoKindly help me in this regard.

I'm trying to create a new project from a exiting ioc file. When I click the "finish" button, it shows a progress bar but disappear very fast, and it did nothing else. No new project created, no nothing. I don't know what went wrong. Is there an error log or something so that I can see what's happening?

Hello! Is there any additional information about on how to use on ST25R3916 the bypass mode of internal VDD_RF regulator to be able to a transmitter output current higher than 350 mA (up to 500 mA) supplied from an external source. In ST25R3916 datasheet only gives this information:"If a transmitter output current higher than 350 mArms is required the VDD_RF regulator cannot be used to supply the transmitter. VDD_RF and VDD_DR have to be externally connected to VDD_TX (connection of VDD_RF to supply voltage higher than VDD_TX is not allowed)."Also i see in the ST25R3916 Discovery Board (MB1414B) schematic open jumper J206 and unplaced decoupling capacitors C209, C210.What are my steps to enable VDD_RF regulator bypass mode? Only close jumper J206 and placed capacitors C209, C210? Is there anything also that needs to be done?Best regards, Rob.

Hellow! I am trying to use “FLASH_EDATA_EraseProgram” with NUCREO-H563ZI.When I execute the code, it works normally, but when I connect to the debugger again after closing the debugger, part of the EDATA is initialized. When running in standalone mode, the EDATA is not initialized even if the power is turned on and off, so it looks like the debugger is deleting part of the EDATA. However, the starting address of the area to be deleted is not fixed, and it changes each time the EDATA is deleted and reprogrammed, and it is deleted until the end of the EDATA area.   The code below is for verification purposes, and is simply a copy of the check process before the original code's erase process.     int main(void) { ... /* Start option byte load operation after successful programming operation */ HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch(); /**** To check the values stored in the EDATA, insert Check_Flash_Content immediately before HAL_FLASHEx_Erase */ /**** First time, skip this process by “ju

Hi,When the sample program FLASH_EDATA_EraseProgram is executed on the NUCREO-H563ZI board, it appears that 0xAA55 is correctly written to the high-cycle data flash. However, when debugging is terminated and the board is rebooted, the data in the latter half of the flash is not written, and it remains in the Erase state (0xFFFF).Since the memory in the Erase state is not at a sector boundary, it cannot be considered that it was erased later. Also, although the memory in the Erase state causes an NMI interrupt when read, it is possible to write to it, and after writing it becomes possible to read normally. Please give advice how to work with the high cycle data!STM32CubeIDE 1.17.0NUCREO-H563ZI board NUH563!$MR2STM32H563ZIT6U AA327 VQ revision XFLASH_EDATA_EraseProgram 1.12 Debug run "FLASH_EDATA_EraseProgram", break main.c:215 and reset CPU, Memory Monitor 0x90002700High-cycle data memory dump after HAL_FLASH_Program() Debug stop, debug run again, break main.c:167 and rese

It says "It is crucial that you use a consistent set of versions for the CMSIS Core - CMSIS Device, as mentioned in this release note." but I do not see any CMSIS version in the release notes. Which CMSIS version is recommended for cmsis_device_f3 ?

Hello,Please excuse the basic question, I am reading the datasheet of stm32f429ve trying to understand which pins I need to send data from the microcontroller to an audio codec using I2S. I understand the I2S interface requires three pins, with an optional fourth pin:Bit clock, using PB13 = I2S2_CKWord clock, using PB12 = I2S2_WSSerial data, using PB15 = I2S2_SDMaster clock, using PC6 = I2S2_MCKHowever, I do not understand the function PB14 = I2S2_ext_SD. Is this dependent on whether the pin is transmitting or receiving like MOSI or MISO in SPI? I cannot find this documented anywhere which makes me think it must be obvious :)

There were MANY demo programs on the evaluation kit on first power on.  Since I have been trying out different example software, I see that I have flashed over the top of the original demo.  I suspect I just need to build another project with another example program, but there are so many!  Anyone know what the example program is called that the evalulation board came with?

Hello,I am a PowerTrain Electronics Hardware Architect by profession. For one of my new hobby electronics developement I decided to use STM32 micro controller. To start with I bought NUCLEO_F030R8 and able to blink on board LED as I program. Then I tried to program on board micro controller with my ST-LINK/V2 ISOL. I disconnected both jumpers at CN2. Tapped out SWCLK of target controller from pin 2 of CM6. Then tapped out SWDIO from pin 4 of CN6. I took 3.3V and GND from CN6 pins 4 and 6 respectively. I connected these four wires to ST-LINK/V2 ISOL as in the image In Debug configurations of CubeIDE, ST-LINK/V2 ISOL is founf with SWD setting. But when I try to program I get error message as target not found. What am I missing here? Is the reset is mishandked by onboard programmer? Should I take care of this and few others?Thank you, Anesh S.

Hey,I am using the STM32f769NIH controller and my application has Touchgfx and freeRTOS enabled. The code downloading time is too slow and I want to speed it up.I figured that turning off the external loaders in the debug configurations yields a smaller code size. Originally it was 6.08 MB and after the it became 256 KB. This .srec file takes mere 6 seconds to download while the 6.08 MB file took 1 minute. The issue is the IDE keeps waiting for debugger connection for almost 1.5 minutes before it finds it and then downloads the code (Image attached). I need the command which can generate the .srec file with input elf file. It should exclude external loaders. I'll manually download this .srec file from the STMCubeprogrammer.Currently I'm using this command which generates the file but the code doesn't work. "%OBJCOPY%" -O srec --gap-fill 0xFF --strip-debug --srec-len=32 --srec-forceS3 --remove-section=.loader --remove-section=*FlashSection "%BUILD_DIR%\STM32F769I_DIS

so i was following an online tutorial (from digikey, where they teach how to use dma) and in it the values from ADC is transmitted through DMA to a buffer of decent size (4096byte). But it seems they always use the hal delay function after using uart transmission. Is this necessary, i noticed that without the delay function my frequency goes from 1khz to 7khz and i dont see any issues with the transmission too.i mentioned about the dma from adc in case its relevant for using the delay function in uart

Hello,I started a blank project for the STM32H743 with AzRtos, ThreadX, NetXDuo..  There is something weird with the compiler and linker, or I don't understand how to setup the project...The project compiles and runs, but the memory mapping seems to be all over the place, and I can't figure out why. There are 2 RAM sections that I want to use... RAM_D1 (axi-ram) and RAM_D2 (SRAM1).  These are the current locations/size:So, I want all the data, stack, variables to go into RAM_D1 (@2400_0000) and only the ethernet Descriptors and DataPool in (@3000_0000).In the ethernet configuration, I setup the memory addresses as follows:Note: it seems the RxBuffers Address is not used anywhere (correct me if I'm wrong, but I searched everywhere in the code and could not find it being used).  Anyway, the Ethernet descriptors were put at 0x3000_0000, and 0x3000_0060. Under AzureTROS settings, I allocated 40k to the NetXDuo memory pool In the Flash.Id file I made these entries:.e

Hi,I am trying to set up a basic project on a Nucleo H743ZI2 using AZRTOS ans NetX, but I can't get it to work. I am relying on this guide: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/creating-a-dual-ipv6-amp-ipv4-netxduo-udp-application-for/ta-p/570521The only change I made was turning off IPv6 and deleting the code that manages it. However, I can't even ping the board. I also tried with the program linked in the guide, but it didn't work either. I don't think it is a problem with a board, because I tried the same thing with FreeRTOS + LWiP and it worked just fine. I am new to AzureRTOS and NetX, so I don't really know what to look for.I'd appreciate any help.

Hello,I started a new project using the H743, ethernet, LAN8742 and NetXDuo (on one of our custom boards).  Its a very simple project that initializes the hardware, initializes AzRtos, ThreadX, and NetXDuo, and starts TCP, UDP, and ICMP.  This project is just a base (Starting point) for much bigger projects.  When connected to the network, i can ping the board, it can either use a static IP or  the DHCP client. The strange part is that the software works when the clock configuration is set to 400MHz.  If I try to set it to 480MHz, NetXDuo doesn't receive any packets from the network.  At 480MHz, the phy is working properly and it detects (prints a line) stating the status of the ethernet cable (plugged in / unplugged). The phy is sending a 50mhz clock to the H743, so I don't understand why the MCU works at 400 but not 480.   Anyway, I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why it doesn't work.  Everything in the Clock Configuration

I am using pin PA8 in open drain GPIO output mode to control the power supply voltage on a custom board. Normally, the power supply output 5V but when PA8 is set low, it adds an extra 3k resistor to ground to the voltage feedback pin on the power supply and the output switches 12V.The voltage feedback node is nominally 2.5V.This works fine except that when PA8 is high (open drain), the supply outputs around 7.5V and the voltage at the PA8 pin is around 1.5V, not the 2.5V I would expect. Internal pull-ups and pull-downs are disabled.I rewired the prototype board and switched to a different pin (PB11) and everything worked correctly. This problem exists on all of the prototype boards that we have powered up so far. What is going on? Why is that particular pin acting like it has a very weak pull-down when high instead of going open drain?
