Hello ST, Can you confirm if the hardware of the https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-66gymai.html#overview is compatible with the https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32n6570-dk.html. Can i connect them together with the FCC cable (MIPI-CSI connector) ?Is this the correct driver https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-isp/tree/main/Middlewares/ST/STM32_Camera_Middleware/sensors/vd6g that i should use to work with the VD66GY on the STM32N6. Thank you.

I am working with the STM32U5G9 board and I have some trouble when displaying applications  As indicated in the tutorial (link below), I installed the 4 applications. I took the last ones from ST website.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMeiG9jS-yk&list=PLnMKNibPkDnF9x-s1e-v9Wtvv-fB88VWA&index=1 CubeIDE is already installed since I work with TOF sensors quite regularlyHere are my application versions.CubeMx Version CubeIDE Version STM32CubeProgrammer TouchGFX (last one) In CubeMx, I add the TouchFX Generator  After setting CubeMx, I followed the tutorial belowhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFljjd_vQGA&list=PLnMKNibPkDnF9x-s1e-v9Wtvv-fB88VWA&index=2With the configuration In TouchGFX Designer, I can simulate my application Unfortunately, in the CubeIDE step When I compile the project and upload the compiled application, nothing happens on the display (blank screen). From CubeIDE, I'm able to load the tutoria

I'm trying to develop a multiprotocol board with Dual Stack wM-Bus + NB-IOT. I found this link:https://www.st.com/en/wireless-connectivity/nb-iot-products.html So the ST87M01 module is capable of it. I have the next questions:1) The module is sold with the firmware (dual stack) flashed ?2) The module need extra hardware? It is a noise filter or something, or it just need a STM32L5 as a host?3) Where can I find documentation about how to control the ST87M01 module from the host? An AT command list or something. Thanks!

Hi. While testing the animation, I noticed strange behavior in the Animated Image widget when using the RGB565 image format with compression.I'm using an STM32U599, LTDC/RGB24bit, the animation is started with a button.Immediately after startup, the widget area turns white with dots. I could understand this if it were some kind of limitation resulting from the compression. But...If the widget is placed in a Swipe Container widget, after changing the screen and returning, the white area disappears, and the animation executes correctly. What could be the cause? I'm concerned about compression, because in this case, the size difference is tenfold.I also want to know if there's an option somewhere to prevent the framebuffer from being placed in flash memory every time the project is generated? Currently, I add the "__attribute__ ((section (".noinit")));" parameter, but this has to be done every time the configuration changes...

When I am trying to use the STM32CubeProgrammer in Linux, only the default connection option of J-Link is available. No other options "drop down" in the drop-down menu. Since I am set up to connect over USB, this means I am unable to connect to or reprogram the board (STM32MP257F-DK). When I test this same thing on Windows, it shows USB as a connection option, and it can connect successfully. The drop-down menu appears normal. It used to work properly like this in Linux before, and I don't believe I changed any settings in STM32CubeProgrammer since then. Is there a way I can get the standard behavior back when using Linux? I am following the steps as described here: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP2_boards/STM32MP257x-DK/Let%27s_start/Populate_the_target_and_boot_the_image

Hello,I am looking for guidance on how to share the CRC peripheral between two modules. For instance, in our application we are using the BLE stack (for example, following this: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:STM32WBA_BLE_STM32CubeMX#STM32CubeMX_initial_setup). We also are using the SAI interface to sample PDM microphones, and using the PDM2PCM middleware. The PDM2PCM library has something of a hidden dependency on the CRC being enabled. My question is - will the two modules conflict? I notice that in app_entry.c there is a mutex being used to control access to the CRC interface (presumably). How should I ensure that the two requirements don't clash with each other?Thank you,Jonathan

I am using the sensor LIs2DH, and I've read the datasheet and tried multiple values and manipulations of its registers. Now I want to use the sensor should be on a car and detect when will the car move.the problem I'm facing that it generates an interrupt at any vibratoin/touch on the board, and I want to avoid that. Also what are the best configurations for a free fall detection (because I think that would be the best solution for my case) Thanks in advance Register values are Register 0x0f has 0x33Register 0x20 has 0x27Register 0x21 has 0x00Register 0x22 has 0x40Register 0x24 has 0x08Register 0x25 has 0x00Register 0x30 has 0x2aRegister 0x32 has 0x27Register 0x33 has 0x00Register 0x34 has 0x00Register 0x36 has 0x00Register 0x37 has 0x00Register 0x2e has 0x00

I am looking for a button implementation for the Setting button way to achieve the steps:1. At the start, the Setting button is in OFF state on screen12. Press once, the interaction will change to setting screen for specific settings, this screen will have 2 clicks buttons CONFIRM and CANCEL. a.  If the settings is done and CONFIRM button is clicked, the settings are saved and return back to screen1 the Setting button should show the ON state.b. If the cancel button is clicked, there will be no saving and return back to screen1 with the Setting button is in OFF state3. If the Setting was in ON state after successfully CONFIRM the setting, press one more time, the Setting button should go back to OFF state, and NO screen changing.I am be able to use the toggle button to implement the Setting button, and by create the interaction to do the screen switch from the first press, and don't call the interaction on the second press to achieve the OFF, Switch Screen, CONFIRM, Go back t

Hi there, The BAL-UWB-01-E3 datasheet (and symbol from ST) defines DIFFn and DIFFp specifically - indicating that they are actually polarized. For layout reasons I need to swap them around which to my understanding would just turn the unbalanced signal 180 deg out of phase (which would be fine?) Are these pins actually polarized or did they just pick one configuration n go with it?

I used "generate-n6-model.sh" script to generate "network_data.hex" file as in the repo. However, it didn't match the original file. As a result, when I programed it to dev board "STM32N6570-DK", the app only shows images, and didn't detect persons. On the other hand, if I programed the original "network_data.hex" to the board, the app did detect persons. It seemed the "st_yolo_x_nano_480_1.0_0.25_3_st_int8.tflite" file didn't match the generated hex file.

Using a STUSB4500. I am attempting to request 9V @1A from a USBC wall wart. The wall wart is capable of delivering 9V @3A. If the device cold boots,(remove all power from the system) the request is a success and stays fixed at 9V. If I remove the USBC connector and plug it back in it will not go back to 9V, It sticks to 5V. It will not go back to 9V unless I remove power and cold boot again. Here is the I2C traffic to the device: write to 0x2B ack data: 0x2F read to 0x2B ack data: 0x25 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x89 read to 0x2B ack data: 0x4B 0x00 0x00 0x00 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x89 0x4B 0xD0 0x02 0x00 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x89 read to 0x2B ack data: 0x4B 0xD0 0x02 0x00 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x89 0x64 0xD0 0x02 0x00 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x8D read to 0x2B ack data: 0x00 0x01 0x00 0x00 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x8D 0x00 0xD1 0x02 0x00 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x8D read to 0x2B ack data: 0x00 0xD1 0x02 0x00 write to 0x2B ack data: 0x8D 0x64 0xD0 0x02 0x0

Hi,In the old VSCode extension there was a task called something like "Erase + Flash" which would flash the board and then the program could run. After updating, there is now no such task so the only option is to flash the board by debugging. Is there a way to flash the board without debugging?Best regards,Sašo

I'm attempting to use a stm32g030 as an I2C slave device however the mcu fails to accept connections with the master device.  I have run this code on several different board including several using a stm32g031 but experience the same issue so I am tentatively ruling out a hardware error.  I use physical pull-up registers on SDA and SCL.I have printed out several important registers after calling 'i2c_slave_init'.GPI0A->AFR[1]: 0x00066000I2C2->OAR1: 0x00008010I2C2->CR1: 0x000000bdI2C2->IIMINGR: 0x10b17db5PCLK1 = 64000000 HzThere must be something I'm failing to do in my code but I've been staring at code for so long I simply don't see it.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.-A// Rrequired Header Files //----------------------------------------------------------------------------- #include "stm32g030xx.h" #include "gpio.hh" #define slave_address 0x08 /** * @brief Initialize I2C2 as a 7-bit slave on PA11=SCL and PA12=SDA. * @PAram slave_addr

How can I get the stm32wl5moc hardware design reference ? I searched in the datasheets but there is no hardware design reference.  If anyone have an information about this kindly let me know.

I know, it's probably a design flaw, but hear me out.I'm designing a board with an STM32MP135 (in the form of a Myir Tech SoM). I have both USB1, and USB2 configured as USB-A / host mode. There is also an FTDI chip attached to UART4 for a console. The problem that I'm having is that when I try to enter USB DFU mode (bootn = 0, 0, 0) it will only work if I connect through an OTG-style adapter to another USB-A port. The only way that I can get it to enumerate is if I connect USB2 (type A plug on the target) to a USB-C to A converter, and then to a USB-A port on the laptop. If I connect USB-A on the target to USB-C on the laptop it does not enumerate at all and if I connect via a powered HUB it gets stuck in some sort of enumeration loop. This is the first board revision and I did not expect to need USB-OTG so those pins are floating, which I'm guessing is what I've missed, but I can't find where it mentions how they are used in the documentation. I don't have any use for USB-OTG otherwise.

STWBC86 TX can be use for bi-directional communication, when rx send PP-packet as QI defined, STWBC86 update to 1251 version and use GUI to read i2c reg address 0x0100, and it can read RX PP-packet. https://github.com/STwirelesscharger/STSW-WPSTUDIO/blob/main/STSW-WBC86FWBPP/STEVAL-WBC86TX_nvmpatch_1251.memh About GUI you can find here https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-wpstudio.html

Hi everyone, I’m currently working with an STM32H747 and trying to perform SD card write operations using core M4. The SMMC1 peripheral is connected to the D1 domain, which (as far as I understand) means that the M4 core (D2 domain) doesn’t have direct access to it. When I try to write to the SD card from M4 (using MDMA), it always fails — f_mkfs returns an error. However, when I run exactly the same code on core M7, everything works perfectly fine. So my questions are: Does it make sense that the M4 cannot access SMMC1 because of the D1 domain connection? Is there any way to make SD write operations work from the M4 core (for example, through shared memory, DMA Settings, or another workaround)? Thanks in advance.

I have a Nucleo-64 STM32F411RE. It's cool. I can program it, debug code and everything nice. But it's too large, however! I need to pack my projects to be as small as possible in order to ship to the market.  I need an official stm32 board with an included St-Link and features like nearly what a Blue Pill board offers, for now. At first I thought of NUCLEO-F042K6. Good price (10.8 USD), good size, ST-Link included, but its features may not be enough.  What do you suggest?

I am implementing custom CAN bootloaders for H725, G491, and H563. I would like to use the same bootloader across all MCUs.Are the flash interfaces across these MCUs close enough that a common bootloader is feasible? [I haven't compared the reference manuals yet]If there are differences, does HAL hide them?

I'm a new user of the STM32 and its tools, and I'm confused about their behavior when using ST's Arm Clang toolchain (not the hybrid Clang-GNU but the full Clang/LLVM). The ST-provided `cmsis_armclang.h` isn't being included in my build of a simple CubeMX-generated project. Instead, `cmsis_gcc.h` is included.Using the current version of STM32CubeMX (6.15.0), I created a project for the NUCLEO-U545RE-Q board (attached). I used the default settings except that I went with ST's contemporary approach for VS Code with ST's extension pack:Toolchain / IDE: CMakeDefault Compiler/Linker: Starm-Clang. I keep wanting to pick Sturm und Drang but sadly that's not an option. ;)And I modified two of the code-generation settings. From the .txt report:STM32Cube MCU packages and embedded software packs : Copy only the necessary library filesGenerate peripheral initialization as a pair of '.c/.h' files per peripheral : YesThe generated code's `starm-clang.cmake` defaulted to the hybrid toolchain by

How do I connect to the X-NUCLEO-67W61M1 uart in order to access the 'AT' commands?I never get the AT> command prompt, although I get the bootup output spew, see below sample. I have tried 2 different uart-to-usb interface boards that work on other systems, so I have confidence in them. The commands are documented here: http://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:ST67W611M_AT_CommandMy setup uses the X-NUCLEO-67W61M1 expansion board with the Nucleo-H7S3L8 host board, and I successfully built and run the ST67W6X_CLI sample application. Both boards have the default configuration for the solder bridges. I know I can use the CLI sample app for 'AT' commands, but that is through the host board, and not what I am asking.I have also been able to connect a serial interface interface to the TX & RX connectors at either the CN7 or CN9, on the X-NUCLEO-67W61M1 and get the bootup output on my terminal emulator. Contrary to the documents I could find, I had to use baud r

Device: STM32F411RE NUCLEOHello, I am having some issues with STM USBD AUDIO library. For some reason I cannot get it to stream audio data to a host device in a proper way.The device is successfully recognized as 2 channel 16 bit microphone by my PC.When I press the record button in windows recorder or audacity nothing happens. So far all I know is the USBD_AUDIO_DataIn is not getting called and from what I have read so far this is the function where I am supposed to be handling the sending data to host.I have been trying to get this working for weeks and I have had it working in the past with the following conditions: I put the LL_Transmit function in the USBD_AUDIO_SOF function. This worked as the audio data is supposed to get polled every 1ms anyway. Then I had the problem that every other packet sent was empty, so I added the LL_Transmit function back into DataIn stage and now my sine wave was being sent perfectly. Which is really weird if you think about it. I cannot imagine that t
