The S/W included in this Discovery Kit is nice as a demo, but as expected, I would like to tailor it to my application. I have not found any listing for the entire S/W included in the DK, perhaps because it is proprietary and the demo is basically an advertisement for buying TouchGFX, etc.However, I don't want to buy anything... I have already bought the DK and want to use the H/W (and if possible parts of the S/W) for my own projects.is there a listing of the entire S/W?if not, I need to understand how to drive the graphics display... as a minimum and I haven't found this info, but it must be around somewhere.Thanks,

When I upload my code the controller it was working fine for few cycles after that it gets stuck somewhere else and the code is not running. I checked it with the debugging mode in that when I run the code is working fine and when it gets struck I stopped the program the breakpoint appears into the hardfault_handler.could someone help me oi solve the issue if I tried to upload the same code into another controller if was working good Thanks in advance

Hello,I'm working for the first time with an ST-LINK V2 on a Windows 10 laptop, and it doesn't work with an MCU or without it.I am trying to isolate a problem, so I connecteed the ST-LINK on its own, without any attached wires, besides the USB that connects it to the computer.When I'm connecting it to the laptop. I get STM32 STLink in the device manager.On STM32 Cube Programmer, when I try to connect to it, I get the following:When I try to update its firmware, I get the following:Is This normal?If not, what does it indicate? how may I fix this?Thanks!

Actually we used this part "ST25DV64K" in our design, For pins AC0 and AC1 need the best tuning circuit , if possible Please can you share the circuit ?

I have generated the code (LED PB7 GPIO_OUT) by using STM32Cube Mx for MDK ARM5. While loading the code , I am getting following error.Contents mismatch at: 08001000H (Flash=00H Required=31H) !I have resolve this issue by erasing the flash using ST-LINK UTILITY after that code is loading first time but it's not executing (PB7 LED not blinking) then I reconnect the USB and it seems LED PB7 blinking. If again I am trying to dump the same code , I am getting same above error..Can you please provide the solution to resolve this issue.

My environment is Nucleo-F446RE(STM32F446) with TrueSTUDIO / CubeMX on Windows 10.I tried to get a 6MHz frequency signal by Input Capture module. However, modules often skip timer values./* Private user code ---------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ uint16_t captures[240]; void HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { if (htim->Channel == HAL_TIM_ACTIVE_CHANNEL_3) { } }   void HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureHalfCpltCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { if (htim->Channel == HAL_TIM_ACTIVE_CHANNEL_3) { } } /* USER CODE END 0 */   int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ HAL_TIM_IC_Start_DMA(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_3, captures, 120); /* USER CODE END 2 */ }  This is an example of an aquired buffer(captures[240]) on my environment. [825, 840, 856, 864, 2653, 2668, 2684, 2700, 4465, 4481, 4497...]Interval between signals are should always from 10 to 20, but it has more than 2000.This problem doesn't occur when I change

Hello,I am bringing up an SPC570S50E1. Using the dev kit I am able to successfully bring up and run some simple code, but I observe a clock division for the clock going into the core.When I route out clockout with a divider of zero and sysclk running from the crystal, I observe a 40 MHz oscillation on the clockout pin. However, when I write assembly code that toggles a GPIO pin every clock cycle, I observe that the clock cycles take 200 ns each, suggesting a 8x clock division happening between the clock stage that the clockout feeds from and the clock stage that the processor core feeds from. (If I run the core from the internal 16 MHz oscillator, I observe the same division behavior). I cannot find any registers or configuration bits in the manual that describe such an 8x clock division. Please let me know if this 8x division is inherent or if there is some way to disable it, so that each clock cycle indeed takes 25 ns. Thank you very much,Anton

1)    Could you please tell how to enable “Divide by Zero? exception for SPC56EL60 controller ?2)    What happens if exception is not enabled, what is the behavior of controller ?NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

Hello,I am trying to generate my own image Distribution package for my DK2 board.How to assign hardware cryp1/hash1 to A7 kernel?Do I need to modify some .dts files? Or do I have to enable some options in menu config?Give me please step-by-step recomendations if it is possible.Thank you.

With the STM32 in stop mode 2, is it possible to use the RTC as a additional low power timer?I mean to trig IRQ periodically.I tried the PWR_STANDBY_RTC STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.14.0 example for STM32L476 and the code never stop at the breakpoint in function RTC_WKUP_IRQHandler(). What's more, to avoid debugger I tried to set the LED2 ON inside this function, but the LED never lights up.

Hi All,Can anyone suggest a STM controller supporting following features.1) 1 I2C Port.2) 4 UART Ports.3) 20 Gpios4) 1 RGB LED PinThanks,Ashok

Hi there, we want to use the ST25R3911B on our own board, so I've implemented the whole SPI communication in a Xilinx Zynq FPGA. So SPI communication is tested and working, so reading writing to registers is no problem.Now I have to implement the RFID protocols, which are nicely provided by ST. So I've downloaded the software implementation from:https://my.st.com/content/my_st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcu-mpu-embedded-software/stm32-embedded-software/stm32cube-expansion-packages/x-cube-nfc5.license=1552982656184.product=X-CUBE-NFC5.version=1.3.0.htmlTo save some wires (interrupt wires), instead of interrupts I do poll the interrupt registers on every function call "st25r3911CheckForReceivedInterrupts".So running the main.c of this example, the process got stuck in a while code of the example:static ReturnCode rfalTransceiveRunBlockingTx( void ){   ReturnCode ret; // following while loop will never finishd:   do{

Is it possible, to zoom a text and especially text with dynamic text?The scenario is, to zoom into a screen, if a user is detected by a sensor.

Hello,I'd appreciate if you could release a tentative list of the widgets you plan to integrate in the future release of TouchGFX with a few words about their features. Thanks in advance,Guillaume.

Hi,I have a STM32F407 Discovery kit, I'm working on costum bootloader program. I writed my codes, make the necessary changes in the Flash.id file with CubeIDE. I want to write bootloader section (0x1FFF 0000 address system memory) with STM32 ST-Link Utiliy but it is error. How can i write system memory my codes? Thanks..

I get and install CubeMX 5.0.1In page Pinout&Configuration->GPIO I havent all GPIO (look screenshot)

Hello. Any idea, why? I try

Hi, I am looking forward using the TIM20 timer as per datasheet says on a STM32F303RE (nucleo-eval board) but the STM32CubeIDE only show timer up to number 17.Is this a bug?Thanks.Cyril.

Hi, everyone, I use STM32MP157C-DK2 on my macos(Mojave) laptop. I saw other threads the stlink can not install some driver on macos. but I can not see any /dev/tty.* device, Does I missing some config thing?

Sorry for such a newbie question....I can connect and debug in CubeMX, was trying to get a project started in CubeIDE.I can select the CPU, but I don't see the board package. Is there some initialization I might be missing? IDE connects, then pausing debug, it is in the fault loop. I see the package dimension data in the datasheet, but do not see the suggested PCB footprint dimensions for the UFDFPN12 package . Not can I find any CAD footprints or 3D models for it in the Stmicro site. Where are such things?

Hi All,I am working with the STM32F302R8. I want to set the system clock as the PLL through derived from the HSI. I want a clock of 64MHz which I should have set through the appropriate registers.I think I have set all I need however, after the RCC configration is done, the system clock switch status (SWS) in the RCC->CFGR register still indicates 0x00, initiating that the HSI is used as a clock directly.I have a blinky at the end which currently the LED stays on while the code is running and never turns on when I am debugging.#include "stm32f302x8.h" int x =0;   void Delay (uint32_t nTime); uint16_t ADC1ConvertedValue = 0; uint16_t ADC1ConvertedVoltage = 0; uint16_t calibration_value = 0; volatile uint32_t TimingDelay = 0;   int init () { //RCC->CR = 0x1; //HSI on RCC->CFGR = 0x003C0002; //PLLSCr = HSI/2 , PLLMUL = x116 (62Mhz), PLL = sys clock RCC->CR |= 0x01000000; //PLL on RCC->AHBENR |= (1<<18); //Enabling AHB GPIOB //RCC->AHBENR |= (1<&

Hi,I use the STM32CubeIDE to generate the code of STM32L4 Discovery kit IoT node (B-L475E-IOT01A) and I have added code to use printf command. I can send text to HyperTerminal except ">" as code below.printf("\fSTM32L4 Discovery kit IoT node (B-L475E-IOT01A)\r\n>");But I tried to use code below. It can send ">".uint8_t Text1[1] = {'>'};HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1,Text1,1,100);Could you advise me to solve this problem?Thank you

Hi,Actually now I'm working on the FlexCAN boot operation and I have few queries to be addressed to start over. I have this rudimentary question for an embedded engineer, sorry for it. how do I know the code length/size of my software? while pushing code on SRAM via FlexCAN boot, what should be the register value for PCONFx registers? In the 3rd step of FlexCAN boot sequence, how do I push my software to the SRAM? Please help me with the files or process or the sequence in which the code has to be pushed serially in CAN ID 0x013Thanks for your time in advance.Best Regards,Prashanth Mohan

Hello,I hope someone can help with this riddle.We just started working with our custom board, based on stm32h743 (untill now we worked with eval stm32h743-eval board).The internal memories, GPIOs and other interfaces works OK, but we have the following strange issue with the external sram:In our test we write 0x400 bytes (0x200 16-bytes words) and read these 0x400 bytes and compare values.Reading from sram immediately after writing works OK, ( we get the same values we have written for all the 0x200 16-bytes words), but if we stop at breakpoint and open memory debugger for addresses starting from 0x68000000 just after the reading and do a step , then the memory in 0x68000000 .... changes from the correct written values to 0xfffffff .... We suspected that it is issue of debugger view of memory, but we see similar behavior even if we close all memory views: when we just toggle a led after the reading, and do again a reading of 0x200 words we then see that only some values inside the 0x40
