Hello,I'm trying to use both channels of the DAC on STM32L432, but I'm having a very annoying issue: channel 2 only goes up to 0.5V! I think I've configured both channels correctly, because both channels output voltage that changes with my code... but the output just looks like this:What I expected to see was two identical triangle waves... I'm sweeping an integer from 0-4095 and back down to 0, and sending it to both DAC's. I've tried multiple different commands to write the values to the DAC's, including:HAL_DAC_SetValue(&hdac1, 1, DAC_ALIGN_12B_R, dac_val);HAL_DAC_SetValue(&hdac1, 2, DAC_ALIGN_12B_R, dac_val);and this:DAC1->DHR12R1 = dac_val;DAC1->DHR12R2 = dac_val;and this:HAL_DACEx_DualSetValue(&hdac1, DAC_ALIGN_12B_R, dac_val, dac_val);All produce the exact same wave forms in the photo... Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to configure the two channels differently? Here is my config:static void MX_DAC1_Init(void){ DAC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};&nbs

HiWhich registers can be read/write on the STUSB4500? What are the register addresses? The datasheet only mentions the NVM parameters and their default values, how do you set them via i2c?ThanksJM

I have a problem with a hardfault in my system that I cannot resolve. The problem occurred while operating the display. When I change the transparency value, hardfaults suddenly occur (BSP_LCD_SetTransparency). But elsewhere in the program. Now I have a hardfault function that should give me information about the cause. Unfortunately I don't know how to interpret the registers. This is the function in which the debugger jumps:void HardFault_HandlerC(unsigned long *hardfault_args){   volatile unsigned long stacked_r0 ; volatile unsigned long stacked_r1 ; volatile unsigned long stacked_r2 ; volatile unsigned long stacked_r3 ; volatile unsigned long stacked_r12 ; volatile unsigned long stacked_lr ; volatile unsigned long stacked_pc ; volatile unsigned long stacked_psr ; volatile unsigned long _CFSR ; volatile unsigned long _HFSR ; volatile unsigned long _DFSR ; volatile unsigned long _AFSR ; volatile unsigned long _BFAR ; volatile unsigned long _MMAR ;   stacked_r0

Hello    I was trying to run Sample Test Code from application wizard into my ECU(SPC560B40L3) but it doesn’t worked out.I’ve attached the snapshot. Could you please help me out into this?

Hi Dear'sI'm currently using the mb96f683 series microcontroller.I want to choose an alternative to the scp family for this microcontroller. Please help me if anyone has any information.

Hello,I tried a project created by @Mon2 in this post. I've converted the SW4STM32 project to Atollic one and build it with arm-atollic-eabi-gcc and arm-atollic-eabi-g++ (gcc -v 6.3.1). Everything worked fine so i swapped the resolution in *.touchgfx file to make it landscape, edited the screen and generated code. Then i added the line HAL::getInstance()->setDisplayOrientation(ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE);to main.cpp (just before start of kernel) and suitable include. Rebuild the project and uploaded it to the board. After these steps the UI components like buttons (except flex button), sliders and some others does not render correctly (pic bellow), but function normaly. So my question is - What am i doing wrong? Or is this some bug in TouchGFX? (found similar issue here but for STemWin) Edit:added zip with project

The ST202EB (ST202EC, ST232EB, ST202EB, ...) RS232 receiver's datasheets shows the following application circuit.Table 7 lists recommended capacitors values for C2-C5 (for the device ST202E is states 0.1 nF, for device ST232 it states 1uF).I think this is a typo. It should rather read C1-C4, as these capacitors are associated directly with the voltage doubler and voltage inverter stages of the tranceiver IC. I believe that C5 is rather a simple bypass/decoupling capacitor. What do you think?Best regards,Dan

i have compiled adc application from examples, i dont know how to import program to my spc56el70l5-disp kit using spc5-udestk.can any one help me or point me in right direction.

I am using an STM32F769NI with a MT48H16M32LFB5-6 SDRAM chip, everything works fine. we are looking to set the drive strength to 1/4, 1/2 and full to evaluate the effect on EMC testing. From what I read in the programming manual, it states to perform a dummy read access while BA1=1 and BA=0 in order to select the extended mode register instead of the load mode register and then program the needed value. When I perform the dummy read I receive a hard fault. If anyone can help explain what needs to be done to program the extended mode registers it would be greatly appreciated.Our configuration is /* SDRAM device configuration */ sdramHandle.Instance = FMC_SDRAM_DEVICE;    /* Timing configuration for 90Mhz as SDRAM clock frequency (System clock is up to 180Mhz) */ Timing.LoadToActiveDelay  = 2; Timing.ExitSelfRefreshDelay = 8; Timing.SelfRefreshTime   = 3; Timing.RowCycleDelay    = 5;

I have the "TeseoSuitePro_6_1_3" suite. It comes with installed bin files for STA8089GAT. After I flash the firmware that arrives with the tool I get the tool to start , it sees the GPS satellites with good levels but it never gets a fix. I am also able to configure it to see Galileo but still no fix. What is wrong? is it a bad firmware? The suite reports: STA8090_v4.5.12.1_D1 Also mentioning our flash device is a 128M part MX25U12835FBBI-10G

I do not understand how to properly boot from SPI as it contradicts the BOOT table in the guide document for the STA8089GAT pins on page 22 (“STA8089GA-Pin-by-Pin-guideline.pdf?).To boot from SPI we need a pull up on BOOT0 which has an internal pull down according to the same document. The same for BOOT1, according to the table it should be “1? in boot from SPI and it has an internal pull down.Could you please explain what are the correct setting for STA8089GAT device boot? Is the document an error?Does it mean we need to force BOOT0 to GND on production for first firmware programming and then place a pullup on it?

Posted on June 23, 2017 at 14:03Hi everybody,I'm using SPC560P50L5 processor.I need to declare some sram program and data sections. How can i do in spc5 studio?my code consist in different function, and each of this need a particoulare storage address zone and a particoular ram zone. Are there the possibility to create a personal application.id file? Are there a possibility to do that outside application.id file (for example into main.c file)?Thank you very muchNicola#spc5 #memory-sections-ram-linker #memory-sections

Hello!I have question about CR95HF (with SPI interface selected, MODE: Reader). Is it possible that chip can inform HOST/external MCU (STM32F4) when some TAG/Device shows up in RF field range? There is IRQ_OUT pin, but it's only informing when some data to be received by HOST is ready. So I assume HOST has to poll device with SendRcv Command (0x04) and checks respond if it is not an ERROR_CODE (0x8700)?Also there something like "Wake-up by Tag Detection". Is this something I am asking for? Thanks!

I'm able to download an image onto STM32MP157C-DK2 according to the wiki. The Cube Programmer indicates success. When I flip the boot switches to ON and reboot, DL8 lights after a few seconds but nothing on the screen. During flashing the LCD does display information.  Thanks in advance.

UART7 is not working when configured with same pin numbers as given in the STMCubeMX code. When connected as per schematic pin config, it is working.(Corresponding code also changed)So why is this happening like this? Please help.

STM32F30f4 Does this in debug mode or release with and without STLINK attached via SWCLK Pin 20,SWDIO Pin 19,NRST Pin 4.Using HSI clock and PLL , but tried also without PLL. I've only enabled IO on the standard IO lines available, PA0 -> PA7 Pin 6 to Pin 13, PB1 Pin 14, Pf0 Pin 2,PF1 Pin 3, PA9 Pin 17, PA10 Pin 18. Runs in debug OK for fixed number of cycles then locks in system memory, looping at 0x1ffffed68. The only enabled services are SysTick, Penable request for system service and system service call via SWI instruction, NMI and hardfault interrupt. All set to defaults.I'm using IAR EWB for ARM 7.80.04.1295, shared component 7.5.6.4719. Anyone come across this?

Hi,I have some experience with BLE and Nordic devices (mostly nRF51822 and BLE 4.1).The Nordic provides sniffer firmware for their devices and I used it a lot. ---Now, thanks to ST team, I have the P-NUCLEO-WB55 kit in my hands and started playing with it. I am thinking about BLE 5 now.I wonder if ST has a sniffer software using the USB BLE dongle (the dongle is a part of the P-NUCLEO-WB55 kit). Thanks,Bogdan

Just got my STM32H745 DISCO today. I notice ST uses ST-Link V3 on all dual core boards. Does ST-Link V2 still work for dual core lines? I searched around on ST website and could not find any answers. Beers provided for anyone giving a hint ;)

I am trying to program BDMA of STM32H743 using Nucleo board to perform DMA Peripheral to Memory operation . What I have found a bit difficult is that I could not see any information on Reference Manual , Datasheet or on forum for the mapping information of basic DMA (BDMA) channels for SAI4 block A peripheral of STM32H7 MCU. What I can see is the only Request ID mapping for DMAMUX2 which is 15 in this case. Can anyone please help me to identify which channel should I use if I am trying to use SAI4_a BDMA?

I have tried to get the CAN peripheral up and running on STM32F407 discovery board. But I am stuck at one point. Inside method HAL_CAN_Init(CAN_HandleTypeDef *hcan), I end up in the HAL_CAN_STATE_ERROR.Is there any example available to test on the discovery board and to cross verify mistake made in my code..I have used STMCubeMX to generate the skeleton code and have written the CAN initialization in the user code block.

Has anyone got CubeMX5.2/TouchGFX4.10.0/STCUBEIDE1.0 or SW4STM32 or TrueAtollic working properly with any Discovery board? I mean be able to build with no errors and run it on any Discovery board? I had it working with CubeMX4.xx/TouchGFX4.10.0/SW4STM32. But when I  updated CubeMX4.xx to 5.2, I get build errors. I tried the procedure put by Zhi Pang on the community, but it doesn't work anymore. I get build errors. If you have it working please send me some info on how you did it.ThanksKiran

Hey!I would like to create a log and store it so i could access the information later, for example for a device the monitors how many people go in or out a store and at what times. It would be helpful to store it in a sd card or the boards memory itself so i could just connect it to a computer and check the time
