Hello ,In my project I am using many images as assets , some as a logo others just a background for a button.However, when I compile the project through Keil, the images appear weird and noisy.In the other hand when I compile the project through TouchGFX (GCC). The images are displayed correctly.Example:Here is the screen when compiling through TouchGFX Designer (GCC):Here when compiling through Keil:Any solution to let Keil compile correctly ?

I have a system that uses an STM32L476 controller, where we are using EXTI0 to wake up on a falling edge interrupt.My interrupt service routine used to wake up, contains an IWDG reset, so any time the interrupt gets serviced, we just reset (that's the intended way of waking up)void EXTI0_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI0_IRQn 0 */ MX_IWDG_Init(); // HAL_IWDG_Init(); /* USER CODE END EXTI0_IRQn 0 */ HAL_GPIO_EXTI_IRQHandler(GPIO_PIN_0); /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI0_IRQn 1 */   /* USER CODE END EXTI0_IRQn 1 */ }The problem seems to be, that once we go to sleep, if there is a pending interrupt, it gets serviced, so we reset.I tried to clear the pending interrupt, so that it doesn't get serviced, but it doesn't seem to help, only in debug mode.I tried to clear it like:while(EXTI->PR1 & 0x01){ EXTI->PR1 = 0x01; }And also by:HAL_NVIC_ClearPendingIRQ(EXTI0_IRQn);(The NVIC function doesn't even clear the bit properly (?!) )Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi,I need to seperate my code into different .c and .h fileswhen I do this, the Keil IDE compile no problem. But the compiler from withing TouchGFX designer gives an error of undefined reference.I know this issue is solvable my editing the Make file in target/gcc folder. But I have no idea how to edit it exactly,help is appreciatedConverting images Linking build/bin/target.elf build/ST/STM32F746G-DISCO/gui/src/model/Model.o: In function `Model::transmit(unsigned char, unsigned char*, unsigned short)': C:\TouchGFXProjects\AksApp/gui/src/model/Model.cpp:39: undefined reference to `esit::transmit(unsigned char, unsigned char*, unsigned short)' build/ST/STM32F746G-DISCO/gui/src/model/Model.o: In function `Model::receive(unsigned char, unsigned short)': C:\TouchGFXProjects\AksApp/gui/src/model/Model.cpp:48: undefined reference to `esit::receive(unsigned char, unsigned short)' build/ST/STM32F746G-DISCO/gui/src/model/Model.o: In function `Model::receive_it(unsigned char)': C:\TouchGFXProjects

Hi all,Could you check this problem for me? It can not received information from canoe, data(from transceiver) already reached RX pin of SPC5.The data transmit from Conoe is : The source code in Attachment.I use external OSC is 8M.CanBitRate is 500 kbps.Thank you very much.

Hello all,When I call this function osalThreadDelayMicroseconds(1u), I found that 1us is not implemented, and the actual result is 1ms.But if you call osalThreadDelayMicroseconds (9000u) it can reach 9ms.The parameter usec is less than 1000 and is 1ms.May I ask why I can't achieve 1us?I used 1000 for system timer tick number：

Hello,I'm trying to do a project which involves using both UART and SPI to better understand these protocols as well as the HAL drivers.I have generated the project with the cubeMX and for the first step I'm trying to send some data via SPI2 in interrupt mode when I press a button.The code logic is like this: The program cyclicly checks in an endless while loop whether I press the user button or not. If I do it's going to start the process of sending some data via SPI in interrupt mode. I have configured my controller on the board(NUCLEO F401RE) in master full-duplex but I have not connected any cables to any other device/board yet as I just want to test the sending in interrupt mode first.I put some code which lights up the user LED in the 'SPI2_IRQHandler'(global interrupt that should be fired when transmission is completed if I understood corectly from the datasheet) if which in turn calls HAL function 'HAL_SPI_IRQHandler' which takes care of clearing flags etc.void SPI2_IRQHandler(

I need to make a device that communicates (modbus) with a product that uses the rs232 protocol, with 7 bits and 2 stop bits. I use CubeMx and HAL libs. There is some process to do this. As is known in STM32, only have 8 and 9 bits in length.

Hi,I'm using STM32H743ZI and uVision 5.28.0.0.Traying to program the FLASH Bank 1 results in an error. The error is thrown by FLASH_WaitForLastOperation(). In SR1 the following bits are set:PGSERR1INCERR1Any Idea?RegardsJakob

hi I'm trying to write some code to read on i2c an as 4058b encoder with the HALL library with stm32, with arduino it works perfectly:Wire.beginTransmission (_slaveAdress);Wire.write (internal_register);Wire.endTransmission ();Wire.requestFrom (_slaveAddress, nbByte2Read);for (bytes i = 0; i <nbByte2Read; i ++) {readArray [i] = Wire.read ();}readValue = (((uint16_t) readArray [0]) << 6);readValue + = (readArray [1] & 0x3F);Could you have an equal reproduction of code with HALL i2c?thank you

HiI am evaluating the new STM32CubeIDE .When trying to create a new project (based on an existing project done using eclipse + GNU ARM Eclipse) i am encountering a problem when accessing the project properties to define include directories; Preprocessor defines, etc...When assessing "Project -> Properties -> C/C++ Build -> Settings" i am getting a "java.lang.NullPointerException". The error log is in the PostThe project was created as a new C project, I then copied to the folder the respective source code. The project was created as a "C project" and ToolChain selected was "MCU ARM GCC".If i create a project as a "STM32 Project" using "Cube" to generate the code i am able to access this menu.STM32Cube Version -> 1.0.1Build: 3139_20190612-1256 (UTC)Java: 1.8.0_211OS: Windows 10 v1903!ENTRY org.eclipse.jface 4 2 2019-06-28 10:09:29.817 !MESSAGE Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in: "org.eclipse.jface". !STACK 0 java.lang.NullPointerException at com.st.stm32cube.

.i have compiled adc application from examples, i dont know how to import program to my spc56el70l5-disp kit using spc5-udestk.can any one help me or point me in right direction.

As for SPC56D-Discovery board, refer to page 5 of its application note AN4438, Getting started with SPC56D-Discovery board, it mentioned a test program calling "Test App SPC560D-DIS board.zip?. Somehow I can't find it on ST's website. Where do I download this file? Thanks.

I have looked around in the GUI to see if it can be included anywhere, but I am not able to figure out how to do it. I found the example projects which have the FreeRTOS component so I guess it must be possible to do in some way.

I'm having difficulty setting up an SPC560P50L project for CAN. The given example (OS-less CAN) seems to due internal loopback which is not very useful for my application. (pinouts arent even automatically set)I'm using the discovery boardhttps://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/stmicroelectronics/SPC560P-DISP/497-14706-ND/4866312I need to transmit and receive data at 250Kbps. I was able get transmission working by changing Time quanta (TQ) bits and read it on a PC application and by enabling the PB0 pin. I'm having difficulty receiving data on the RX line. My breakpoints do not trigger for "RX==OK". I've tried variations of disabling bits in the MCR like LPB and SRX_DIS (the bits I believe are responsible for the "virtual/internal" bus they use in the example.) but have had no luck.Are there any sample projects that transmit out out the board to an external node and receive from an external node? Let me know if there is more information I can provide

Hi,I am reading a burst of data 3072 half words from slave SPI device.The Slave device requires NSS to be released after each half word transmission.When I loop on HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive() function with size =1 for 3072 times it's OK.but when I try to do it in one shoot using Size() with size = 3072 , the NSS is set low for the whole 3072.the same happens when I try to use DMA "SPI NSS is low during the whole time of the 3072 half words". I set NSSPMode = SPI_NSS_PULSE_ENABLE;Here's my SPI Initialization tag.hspi4.Instance = SPI4; hspi4.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi4.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi4.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_16BIT; hspi4.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi4.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_1EDGE; hspi4.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_HARD_OUTPUT; hspi4.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_8; hspi4.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT_MSB; hspi4.Init.TIMode = SPI_TIMODE_DISABLE; hspi4.Init.CRCCalculation = SPI_CRCCALCULATION_DISABLE; hspi4.Init.CRCPol

With an STM32F764 I want to receive 33 bytes from 11 daisy-chained 24 bit ADCs via SPI in read-only mode. The received data looks okay but there are 37 to 39 bytes in the buffer. Also with other byte numbers I receive 2 to 6 bytes more than expected.HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA is called by a GPIO interrupt from an external ADC when the 33 bytes are ready. After finishing the DMA the buffer content is processed in Sampling(). There is no other communication taking place on SPI3.I have attached a scope screenshot which shows the excess data in red./*SPI init for external ADCs (only Rx)*/ uint8_t SPI3_Init_ADC(void) { hspi3.Instance = SPI3; hspi3.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi3.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES_RXONLY; hspi3.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; hspi3.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi3.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_1EDGE; hspi3.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT; hspi3.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_4; /*SPI3_CLK = 12.5 MHz*/ hspi3.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTB

STM32F746/AtollicI want to receive periodically a certain number of bytes from an ADC via SPI using DMA.Since there is no Tx line, I thought it would be correct to set the SPI at SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES_RXONLY and to program a DMA for Rx. I called this DMA with HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA(&hspi3, SplRxBuff, 33) and expected to receive 33 bytes in SplRxBuff.My buffer actually receives the 33 bytes but the SPI generates additional clocks which I want to avoid.In this forum I got the advice to use SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES instead of SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES_RXONLY and to add a Tx DMA even if there is no GPIO for Tx.I tried to do this but I don't receive any data. What could be wrong?Here the DMAS for Rx and Tx are set:/*DMA 1 / channel 0 / stream 0 transfers data from external ADC to sample registers*/ __HAL_RCC_DMA1_CLK_ENABLE(); /*DMA clock*/ hdma_spi3_rx.Init.Channel = DMA_CHANNEL_0; hdma_spi3_rx.Init.Direction = DMA_PERIPH_TO_MEMORY; /*from SPI to memory*/ hdma_spi3_rx.Init.PeriphInc = DMA_PINC_

I created some simple project in CubeMX for testing timer6 functionality. I configured PSC (prescaler) and ARR (automatic reload) registers. For now the interrupt handler is running correctly (it is running at calculated period), however I needed to add some special code in the end of this handler:void TIM6_DAC_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM6_DAC_IRQn 0 */ uint32_t z; static uint32_t y = 1;    y ^= 1; set_gpio(y);   htim6.Instance->SR = 0; z = htim6.Instance->SR; }to get it working properly.I mean - in the 10th line I'm trying to acknowledge the interrupt flag (clear it in SR status register ). It should work but it doesn't. I have to add the 11th line to get it work. As the proper work I mean that the blue led is blinking accordingly to the set period. Blinking led is done by set_gpio() procedure.The strange thing is that when there is no the 11th line the program doesn't work properly. I thought that zeroing the SR should acknowledge the inter

Hi,I came across of this video of people counter recently from STMicroelectronics. I was wondering where can I find more information about it or code. Because , I don't understand how field of view is divided into two zones. I couldn't find anything like that in the API.
