Hi everyone,I want to convert an integer to string on CubeIDE, how can I do it ?thanks

HiI am new to NFC solutions and I have to design a product that can read NFC tags inside an area of about 30x40cm. The tags won't be far away, I think less than 10cm. But they are all placed inside this area, with the wire-antenna around them.Is it possible to fulfill this requirement with the ST25R3911B NFC reader?What would be the best solution for the antenna (wire diameter and umber of turns)?Thank you very much for your help. Best regardsMichael

Posted on June 27, 2017 at 06:45Hi all,I am trying to read a four bytes register from TDC-GP30 ultrasonic flow converter using HAL_SPI_Receive function. Below is the code that I am using for reading the register contents:/******************************************************************************* * Function Name: gp30_read_n_bytes * Parameters: n_bytes = how many bytes should be read * read_opcode = read opcode of the device * read_addr = read address of the device * * Return: n bytes from the specified read address * * Description: Reads n bytes from an address in GP30 * ******************************************************************************/float gp30_read_4_bytes(uint8_t read_opcode, uint8_t read_addr){ uint32_t Result_read = 0x00000000; uint8_t Result_read_buff = 0x00; GP30_SPI_enable(); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1,&read_opcode,1,100); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1,&read_addr,1,100); HAL_SPI_Receive(&hspi1,&Result_read_buff,1,100); Result_read |= (Resu

Hello, I have a STM32MP157C-DK2 board and I would like to install some packages.But in /etc/apt/sources.list.d there is no sources.list file with repository links to a server.The folder soures.list.d is empty. Where can I get this link to update system and download some packages.Best regards,Marius

I am working on a product. For prototype, I have used Raspberry Pi 3 B+ with Raspbian operating system and firmware in Python 3. For GUI, I used TkInter library. For mass production, I am trying to figure a cost-effective option, and I came across STM32WB series. I am wondering if STM32WB micro controllers (or any ST micro controllers) support the following:Raspberry o/sPython 3TkInter GUI libraryPlease advise.

Hello,Where can I find it?I would like to have the pinout of the RF board in order to connect it to another board than the ST25 detection board of the kit.Thank you for your help.Regards,Jean-Pierre

See the attached project. If I go to change the settings of ADC1, in the "parameter settings" increase the number of conversions from 2 to 3. In the following lines "Rank 3" should appear, but it does not appear:If I try to switch to another peripheral (for example ADC2) the page does not change. If I click on ADC1's "DMA Settings", the parameters of the DMA appear correctly, but if I click on "Parameter settings" again I find the empty page:Therefore it is not possible to set three or more regular conversions. Why this?Best regardsAndrea

Hi All,I don't want STM32CubeMX to generate a call to SystemClock_Config() because the clocks are set up in a bootstrap that runs beforehand (due to XIP Flash). There is an option in the Advance Settings page to do it, but it's disabled. I cannot select the check box to not generate the call (the other check boxes work).Is there a way to enable this feature?Cheers,David

Hello ST Community,in the folder STM32Cube/Repositery/STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.24.1/Projects/STM32F413H-Discovery/Applications/STemWin/STemWin_HelloWorld.I debug it into the card, it works but now i wanna use the ADC to convert some analog data and display the result! How can I do to add the ADC? I tried to declare the ADC1 function but it doesn’t work.thanks

I am not sure how to ask but some functions in HAL libraries, just starts with HAL prefix, for exampleHAL_GPIO_WritePin() ;But also some macros start with double underscores for example__HAL_GPIO_EXTI_CLEAR_IT() I know that ones are macros and others are functions but is there a reason why they are used this style ?Thanks.

Hey, I have an STM32F4 discovery board which have a user button on it. I am setting button pin as input and when I try pull-down, it works as it should be,HIGH when pressedLOW when not pressedBut if I do not know wrong, when I choose pull-up then it should beLOW when pressedHIGH when not pressedBut this code below, gives me an always ON led , whether i am pressing or not. if(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_0))  HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, LD4_Pin, 1); else HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, LD4_Pin, 0);Thanks in advance.

Hello.recently i get STM32MP1 chips, and i want to use it id devkit with FPGA. But i can't use CUbeMX to get pin definitions, as well as where is no examples that i aware of C code examples, just like with any other chip STM makes. When we get full support on this part ?Also is where 32b connection example for DDR3L ?

Dear all,I am facing to a stm32h743 issue. I have a Nucleo with the stm32H743 Rev Y that work perfectly. Now, I just tried the new Nucleo equipped with the stm32H743 Rev V. As expected, my previous code (Rev Y) does not work on the new device (Rev V). I noticed that it should be a Flash speed problem (if I slow down the PLL for the cpu clock from 400-MHz to around 100-MHz, my new board works). Now, the documentation of ST is really not clear about the procedure to set-up the Rev V. It seems I have to change "some" registers but the procedure is not evident. Any suggestion about how to set-up the Flash parameters for the stm32H743 Rev V?Thank's Edo

I am trying to implement a USB Host for keyboard and mouse. I have successfully implemented the demo that is shown here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlhUG4GsOT0Key presses are all being received successfully by the host. I am struggling with how and where to implement the LED controls of a keyboard. As far as I understand it this is accomplished through a USBH_HID_SetReport(phost, 0x02, 0x00, rep, 0x01). Using the function above will never send the report through and will always return a busy status. If anyone could advise when and where this should be implemented it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please let me know.

I would have thought the text on it would prove to be meaningful but apparently according to every search I have tried it is not. Thanks for your help.

Dear Members / ST Employee,I saw :https://hackaday.com/2019/02/27/new-part-day-the-stm32-that-runs-linux/Is there any other variant of STM32 that affordable ?Thanks

I have a USB development project that entails the creation of a composite USB device. To integrate it with third party USB stacks I'm developing an interface for the low level USB functionality. In the RM0360 user manual, Page 697 the DIR bit is described:This bit is written by the hardware according to the direction of the successful transaction,which generated the interrupt request.If DIR bit=0, CTR_TX bit is set in the USB_EPnR register related to the interrupting endpoint.The interrupting transaction is of IN type (data transmitted by the USB peripheral to the hostPC).If DIR bit=1, CTR_RX bit or both CTR_TX/CTR_RX are set in the USB_EPnR registerrelated to the interrupting endpoint. The interrupting transaction is of OUT type (datareceived by the USB peripheral from the host PC) or two pending transactions are waiting tobe processed.This information can be used by the application software to access the USB_EPnR bitsrelated to the triggering transaction since it represents the direc
