what's the main function of STM32CubeProg?thanks

Hello,While reviewing the provided Android app, I couldn't find any source code for the SensorModelClient class. Is this available anywhere? I'm trying to understand where the ongetSensorStatus handler is called, and the javadocs don't have enough information. Thanks

, but here goesI have a number of st link v2 dongles and i have not been able to connect to a pc on any os. I have win10 , win7 , desktop and laptop and it will not connect i have tried the latest firmware which is when i started really having the connection problem.  I get these messages no st link detected , or if you are trying to connect please try hardware reset etc... nothing works . I see the st32 in my device manager. is this a software issue or am I just doing or not doing something stupid!!!!! Help would be greatly apprceiated

What is explanation for this code (0x81) - can not find it in documentation.Receiving it for FS2JAST4 chip.

hello i need to protect my code from reading or just protect the two first pages is enough because ill put my devices on market ? i cliked on execute only code option in keil flash options my code doesnt compile here is the error :..\Middlewares\Third_Party\FreeRTOS\Source\portable\RVDS\ARM_CM3\port.c(254): error: A1944E: Literal pool entries cannot be generated in execute-only sections..\Middlewares\Third_Party\FreeRTOS\Source\portable\RVDS\ARM_CM3\port.c(272): error: A1944E: Literal pool entries cannot be generated in execute-only sections..\Middlewares\Third_Party\FreeRTOS\Source\portable\RVDS\ARM_CM3\port.c(405): error: A1944E: Literal pool entries cannot be generated in execute-only sectionswhat should i do ???

Posted on January 12, 2018 at 03:14I've just purchased an STM32F469 Discovery development board.  I've got the latest version of STM32Cube and able to build and run various examples on the board.  What I'm not finding is some decent documentation for the BSP drivers. There is of course the STM32469I-Discovery_BSP_User_Manual.chm located in Drivers\BSP\STM32469I-Discovery\ but this is pretty basic Doxygen documentation generated from the headers and not really a 'how to use' document.Does any 'how to' document exist for the BSP drivers?  I would love a document that explains, for example, the basic initialization steps necessary to use the LCD screen on the board.  Just some basic explanations of how to initialize like 'first call BSP_LCD_Init(), then call BSP_LCD_LayerDefaultInit(), etc'.Anyone know if a document like this exist?  Googling is turning up nothing.#stm32 #lcd #stm32f469 #bsp

In few word my code is divided in layer, I'll expect to change only the driver layer adapting it to the new micro.

I apologize for my english.I came across an incomprehensible thing for me (general experience with STM32 for about 10 years).I work with STM32L010K8. When I try to write to USART2->TDR, I fall into reset. Test on Keil and IAR, different optimisation.Has anyone come across this?

I am using SPC5Studio 5.8.1 with a SPC570S-DISP board. Following user manual instructions, I downloaded udestk-4-10-04-spc5-stk for using on board code downloader and debugger.I experienced a problem trying to cvonfigure debug settings because I cannot browse configuration files in UDE startup tab preventing me from using integrated tool.

Hello. I'm using SPC58EC-DISP Kit, SPC5Studio.I am writing a can communication program from the example.I want to know how to not use can receive filter.I want to All Packet Received.SPC58 Wizard Setting only Specified ID Received....

Hi ST Community,i am using STM32CubeIDE. But i can not create an example project as i am getting the following error. But according to old posts related to STM32MP157, other users have created the example project successfully. Need some help please for getting started.i am using STM32CubeIDE v1.0.0. Hi ST Community,I am trying to install the linux image on STM32MP157x-EVAL (as given in https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157x-EV1/Let%27s_start/Populate_the_target_and_boot_the_image ), But i am getting issue related to LCD output after booting from SD-Card. well all steps are ok till flashing SD-Card i.e.Flashing service completed successfullyBut the issue is after booting from SD card, i am getting nothing on LCD, could anyone give me suggestion, what went wrong. Why i am not getting the UBoot splash screen.P.S: b000 was used for flashing and b101 was used for booting from SD Card. and jumper settings are as JP3 [12], JP4[23], JP5[23]. Best Regards

Good day ladies and gentlemen, my currenct setup: I want to write a custom bootloader for the STM32F413, so I do the initialization made by CubeMX (HAL_init, SystemConfig etc.), after that i want to jump right into the application with the following:Bootloader: 0x08000000Application: 0x08004000 (PAL_FLASH_APP_START_ADDRESS) __disable_interrupt(); pApplication = (void(*)(void))(*((__IO uint32_t*)(PAL_FLASH_APP_START_ADDRESS+4))); __set_MSP(*((__IO uint32_t*)(PAL_FLASH_APP_START_ADDRESS))); __set_CONTROL(0);   SCB->VTOR = (FLASH_BASE | 0x4000); pApplication();Which works perfectly fine so far. My problem now is that i have to reduce the time needed for the complete initialization of bootloader and application.I want to do the Clock-Config etc. only once at the beginning of the bootloader because I have an external crystal (set to 8 MHz), don't deinitialize and jump in the application and directly use my functions. The problem is that the jump ends in the Reset_Handler of th

Hi,I'm following https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP15_secure_boot tutorialI'd like to perform a few checks before programming OTP WORD 24 to 31 since, as usual, and as indicated in STM32MP1 reference manual:An OTP word can be written in multiple shuts. The word value is updatable by adding bits to1, but a bit already set to 1, cannot be written back at 0I have generated signing keys.I have TF-A firmware signed with them.I can see TF-A header is indeed updated with a 512 bits signature value and a 512 bits pub key value (so as algorithm value). Is there an existing implemented way to:confirm publicKeyhash.bin is matching public key (and algorithm if I understand well) value embedded in firmware header ?more generically, perform firmware authentication from an external host PC ?This would be for me a way to be 101% sure before programming OTP.Thanks in advance for any useful feedback.Cheers,Alexandre.

Hello,my STM32MP1157C-DK2 is up and running. I can use the Stlink with other tools. However stm32cubeprogrammer does no show the disco stlink. Is this a know issue?

I am actually cross posting this question, I will include the original link below.I have been trying to get my env set up for two days and keep running into this issue; i have installed all the software to the best of my knowledge ( using arch linux os ). As mentioned I have the Stm Link programmer V2 and my board is the blue pill STM32F103C8T6. Complete conversation can be found here : https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/445372/st-link-version-2-on-arch-linux-not-workingOnly update from the link I provided above is I tried to install a firmware upgrade on the st link v2 dongle and now my light on the dongle stays solid and does not blink blue/purple when I open the st link GUI or when running st-flash within the command line. Within TrueStudio when I run Debug it will say that the cable is not connected properly when I have triple checked everything., other times it will just say it cannot find the device.Really not sure how to go from here; i'm new to embedded environment

Hi,I'm looking for the files of Loader_Src.c and Dev_Inf.c for STM32 ST-LINK utility external loader developing. Can someone tell me where these files are located? The user manual of UM0892 says "They are in an external loader project", but I don't know where it is.Thanks,James

STM32 devices names end with: VGTx, VGHx, RETx, REYx.The first 2 seem to be associated with memory size and the last 2 to the package. Is there any logic to it and is there any document describing it?

Attached is the IOC file I am using. When I generate the project, the STM32F7xx_HAL_Driver directory has a few folders inside of it, but none of the HAL files, including the stm327xx_hal.h file which prevents compiling from working. I have the "Copy all used libraries into the project folder" option selected. Why are none of the HAL files copied into the project directory?

Can someone confirm the correct part marking for STM32L072KBU6?

I am considering using the TouchGFX ecosystem for embedded touchscreen operation. From the TouchGFX website I understand that that it is written in C++. I'm programming in C and want to know if it is possible for TouxhGFX widgets to pass data to and from C functions?ThanksGreg

HelloI want to scroll text by hardware buttons, I call doScroll function and it works fine, but only if I put text in the text area using TouchGFX Designer,if I want to change the text, for example 14 lines Unicode::snprintf(textArea1Buffer,100,"test1\ntest2\ntest3\ntest4\ntest5\ntest6\ntest7\ntest8\ntest9\ntest10\ntestasd11\ntest12\ntest13\ntest14\n"); textArea1.invalidate(); scrollableContainer1.invalidate();I can scroll 10 of them, but instead of line 11 I get "???" and no 12,13,14 lines
