Hi, I'm not sure whether this is a bug in the Cube or whether I'm missing out something. I tried opening the F439 in the Cube and it has the 24-bit RGB option. Just to check while I was there I searched for the LTDC_B0 pin and found it on PE4, so I went back to my F429 window and sure enough, when I click on the PE4 pin, it can be configured as LTDC_B0, yet that would only be possible in the 24-bit RGB888 mode. So I'm confused. I'm on 5.3.0. I went through the bug fixes included in the recent 5.4. release but didn't find my problem.I guess it wouldn't be a problem to generate the code for the F439 and copy it over but I'm still not sure whether my micro supports it and I have no way of testing it rn. My display only supports the 18-bit RGB but I want to replace it with slightly different one which in turn only supports the 24-bit... Thank you for your suggestions.

Hi,There is a bug in the release v1.9.0 of the STM32F0 HAL library.In CAN_Receive_IT() and CAN_Receive() functions the RTR value of the pRxMsg is wrongly set.Here is what is done:pRxMsg->RTR = (CAN_RI0R_RTR & hcan->Instance->sFIFOMailBox[FIFONumber].RIR) >> CAN_RI0R_RTR_Pos;with CAN_RI0R_RTR_Pos = 1;It means that if the message is a Remote one, the pRxMsg->RTR is equal to 1. However the CAN lib header file mentions: uint32_t RTR; /*!< Specifies the type of frame for the received message. This parameter can be a value of @ref CAN_remote_transmission_request */With CAN_remote_transmission_request values defined as: /** @defgroup CAN_remote_transmission_request CAN Remote Transmission Request * @{ */ #define CAN_RTR_DATA (0x00000000U) /*!< Data frame */ #define CAN_RTR_REMOTE (0x00000002U) /*!< Remote frame */ /** * @} */And that does not match ! CAN_RTR_REMOTE is equal to 2.In the v1.7.0 release, the bit shift by CAN_RI0R_RTR_Pos was not present and t

Hi!I'm trying to enable the PDM interface on a STM32WB55RGV with one microphone. Basically i followed the AN5027 application note, but I'm not able to start the clock on the proper GPIO. The configuration from CUBE-MX seems ok, and I checked the registers value, so maybe I'm setting up the wrong API to start the streaming.Any advice? MX_SAI1_Init();   osDelay(10);   //HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA(&hsai_BlockA1, (uint8_t *)mic_buff, MIC_BUFF_LEN); HAL_SAI_Receive(&hsai_BlockA1, (uint8_t *)mic_buff, MIC_BUFF_LEN, 100);     /* start application */ while (1){ osDelay(1000); }

I have done porting of low level driver required for touchGFX to stm32l496 discovery board and I want to change the orientation of display. For that I am using setDisplayOrientation API and I can rotate UI (buttons and other widgets) by 90 degree. But the images remains in the same orientation. So does anyone have any idea about how can I solve this problem ? Thank you.

I am following the instructions in the 'UM1718 User manual", section 10.9, "Switching to another MCU".In STM32CubeMX I opened a new project and chose the F303RETx MCU option. Then I imported a working .ioc file into STM32CubeMX that was originally set for the F303RCTx, then, as described in the instructions, did Try Import, which worked, then named the project, and clicked Generate Code, for the STM32CubeIDE, which worked, no errors reported.But, when I open the project in STM32CubeIDE, and try to compile, I get the error about missing files as follows:compilation terminated.make: *** [Drivers/STM32F3xx_HAL_Driver/Src/subdir.mk:81: Drivers/STM32F3xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32f3xx_hal.o] Error 1In file included from ../Drivers/STM32F3xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/stm32f3xx_hal.h:46:0,         from ../Drivers/STM32F3xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32f3xx_hal_adc_ex.c:55:../Inc/stm32f3xx_hal_conf.h:206:12: fatal error: stm32f3xx_hal_exti.h: No such file or directory &

Hi!I use M24LR64E supplied with 3V3 and communicating with PIC microcontroller.I am facing a big and urgent problem: I2C writes are working really fine according to manual specification until the memory is subjected to EMI. After that, any I2C write returns NACK.How can I work around?

I'm using STM32CubeMX 5.4.0. When I enable LTDC and DMA2 interrupts (for example) in the NVIC tab in NVIC Mode and Configuration, when I switch to the Code Generation tab there are no entries for either LTDc or DMA2D. See attached screenshots. What is preventing Code Generation ?

Hi,from Properties -> Paths and Symbols i added file path to 'Include Directories'. Then, i added my source file and my header file to 'my_libs' which i created under project_name -> Drivers.When i call a function from library i see 'undefined reference to (function_name)' error.How can i fix this? Best regads.

Can someone explain to me how I can do to be able to view all the settings? The cursor is on the edge and there are still too many settings to list that I can't see.Since they released version 5, CubeMX has become increasingly confusing and difficult to use ...

Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it? I am having this problem on the nucleo board.

IDE and CubeProgrammer require the JRE to develop products and bring them to the market and OpenJDK is not an option. The question has been posted in several topics lately. The MP1 incudes Linux, is there a license impact to release products with ST provided boot, kernel and system images to the market ? Personally, until now managed to keep the Oracle JRE off any of the systems unti

CURRENT PRODUCT Our existing devices have a custom USB DFU bootloader starting at address 0x08000000. Our main application starts at 0x08008000, after 32Kb of space. I can jump from the main app to the bootloader with no issues (using a NVIC_Systemreset) and back from the bootloader to the main application. NEW FEATURE I need to extend the capability of the bootloader to include OTA, however, existing customers are not able to re-program the bootloader without special tools. So the bootloader code (0x08000000) portion MUST stay the same.ATTEMPTMy solution is to add the OTA portion at 0x08008000 (PROGRAM 1) and shift the main application up to 0x08010000 (PROGRAM 2). I made adjustments to each linker script and in the system_stm32l4xx.c to ensure the VTOR is 0x08008000 for PROGRAM 1 and 0x08010000 for PROGRAM 2. When I look at the memory map the SP seems correct with each address 0x08008000 and 0x08010000 having a value of 0x20010000.When I jump I use the following code block from DFU e

Hi, I am using an STM32L4 MCU and I need to make the COMPx_OUT acting as a retriggerable monostable output. I know I can use timers as blinking source for COMPx_OUT, but this would not help, and as far I understand, the only way to solve my problem via firmware would be, at each EXTI interrupt:Set to VOH the GPIO outputStart a one shot timer for t secondsSet to VOL the GPIO once the timer has overflowed.Am I missing something or is there any better automated firmware solution ? Thanks for any hint. Hello community, am writing here because I need support in designing an RFID-based system.At current stage I have settled on the ST25RU3993 IC as an RFID reader. However, I can't understand if and how an antenna should be connected to the IC.Can anybody guide me in the right direction?Thank youM

Hallo ,I am trying to debug an imported project from CubeMx, which is just the configuration of the STM32MP!57C-DK2 board, I built the solution in the system workbench and then connected to the board. on the Console I cannot see any IP Address for the board, so i used ifconfig, and i entered the eth0 ip address in the debug configuration, when i debug the solution, i end up with this error message(attached).I attached my debug configuration as well. I also tried port 3333 which got the same problemI tried to debug just the OPENAMP_TTY example, it cannot be compiled (Photo- OpenAMP)I wonder what is wrong?. Your help is very much appreciatedNote; Regarding the OpenAMP problem, I saw the answered question, i followed the answer but the problem still exists. Maybe there should be some sort of special ocd or gdb config?. I am not sure as am totally new to that boardThanks in Advance

Hello, I'm using the OpenAMP_TTY_echo example with some modification.if (VirtUart0RxMsg) { VirtUart0RxMsg = RESET;   while (data < 65535) { itoa(data, buf, 10); if(VIRT_UART_Transmit(&huart0, (uint8_t *)buf, 10) != VIRT_UART_OK){ Error_Handler(); } data ++; }   data = 0; }On Linux side I'm use write on ttyRPMSG0.But if I don't read, the log give me the message:rpmsg_tty virtio0.rpmsg-tty-channel.-1.0: No memory for tty_prepare_flip_stringI think that I'm understand the problem, but what can I do to prevent this problem?

After migrating to Nordic-nrf52832 platform with STM32CubeExpansion_NFC5_V2.0.0, I can initialize successfully (all initialization processes can succeed), and fail to Polling Tag Detect.Refer to the example completely for program running processint main(void) { bsp_board_init(BSP_INIT_LEDS); bsp_board_init(BSP_INIT_BUTTONS); APP_ERROR_CHECK(NRF_LOG_INIT(NULL)); NRF_LOG_DEFAULT_BACKENDS_INIT(); timers_init(); spiInit(); NRF_LOG_INFO("SPI example started.");   if( true != demoIni() ) { NRF_LOG_ERROR("************ rfal NG **************"); } while (1) { demoCycle(); NRF_LOG_FLUSH(); // bsp_board_led_invert(BSP_BOARD_LED_0); nrf_delay_ms(500); } }Debug Log Democycle() didn't crash, just couldn't get the card searching result.
