HelloI use STM32F769I-DISCO.Touch the screen to jump to the following functions.bool OTM8009TouchController :: sampleTouch (int32_t & x, int32_t & y){  / * USER CODE BEGIN OTM8009TouchController_sampleTouch * /  TS_StateTypeDef state;  BSP_TS_GetState (& state);  if (state.touchDetected)  {    x = state.touchX [0];    y = state.touchY [0];    return true;  }  return false;  / * USER CODE END OTM8009TouchController_sampleTouch * /}I want to know where this function is called from, so when I step through it, I can't see the source.Where does this function come from?I want to use another touch controller  if (state.touchDetected)  {    x = state.touchX [0];    y = state.touchY [0];    return true;  }Must write the process to get the coordinates for th

Hi,I'm working on NUCLEO-H743ZI board, using the STM32CubeMX 5.4.0 tool. When i'm generating code for SPI using DMA - It seems that it doesn't work.I tried to generate the same code for another device (STM32F411 Discovery Board) and i sow that there is a difference between this two components in the initialization order:STM32F411MX_DMA_Init();MX_SPI1_Init();NUCLEO-H743ZIMX_SPI1_Init();MX_DMA_Init();When I switched between these two functions it seems that the problem solved.is it a bug in the IDE?

I'm trying execution code:#define DEVICE "/dev/ttyRPMSG0"   int main(void) { int fd; struct termios tty; char buf[100]; int len;   printf("Opening device...\n"); fd = open( DEVICE, O_RDWR | O_NOCTTY | O_NDELAY ); // read/write, no console, no delay if ( fd < 0 ) { printf("Error, cannot open device\n"); return 1; } }But, always get: Error, cannot open device. :(I think, that in my Linux system there is no driver for this device: /dev/ttyRPMSG0.What am I doing wrong?How to create and manage a device /dev/ttyRPMSG0 from a program correctly?Board: STM32MP157C-DK2Many thanks.

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this question. In 'AN2450 LLC resonant half-bridge converter design guideline', it gives many equations. But I can't figure out how to get the Equation 45, particularly the section after ">=".Anyone can help me? Thanks.

If I call the function with the button from the STM32F746G-DISCO screen, e.g. a counter, do I have to use FreeRTOS to display the value of the counter on the screen?

Hi All,I have a ST32H745I-DISCO and would like to use its Ethernet port. It has a LAN8740A PHY connected to the MII port. There seems to be no Ethernet example for the STM32H745I-DISCO in stm32cubeh7. Does anyone know of an example that uses STM32 and LAN8740A over MII?Thanks,Ade

I have a compass program using an LSM9DS1 chip and the STMicro's CUBE-MEMS compass library. This is working.I switched from the LSM9DS1 to the LISM2MDL. I am using the same program. This does not work. It appears the STMicro CUBE-MEMS library breaks (never creates good compensation values) because the LISM2MDL magnetometer values are so far out of alignment.I captured the raw maximum & minimum magnetometer values from the LSM9DS1:Max X: 62 Min X: -38Max Y: 42Min Y: -57Max Z: 37Min Z: -60These are not very far from having zero average value. The offsets to make the maximums equal distant from zero:X: -12Y: 8Z: 12I adapted the program to use the LISM2MDL (I removed the STMicro HAL for the LSM9DS1 and replaced it with the STMicro HAL for the LISM2MDL. Now my raw minimum and maximum magnetometer values look like this:Max X: -5Min X: -44Max Y: 21Min Y: -16Max Z: 30Min Z: -9The X values are terrible and very far from having zero average value. The others are not too bad. The offsets to m

Hi,I have purchased ST25RU3993-EVAL board with complete set and I am able to read tags. I would like to know if I can interface this board - RFID Reader with another micro controller (I wanted to interface with TI CC1352P1 launchpad), via SPI (or via any serial communication). If so is there any programming tool?Is it possible to obtain driver and library files for ST25RU3993-EVAL board Thanks in Advance

Hello everyone,I'm using USART3 on F746, but only RX/TX pins which are mapped to pins PD8/PD9.Besides that, I want to configure general output to pins PD10/PD11 (to control LEDs), but they don't work when I try to control them. I looked up the AF mapping for the chip and can see that these pins fall into "USART pin domain" (PD10 = USART3_CK, PD11 = USART3_CTS). Can this prevent me from using them as GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP? Is this documented in any paper? Because I didn't find any such limitations in reference/datasheet and thought that I might program those independently. Thanks!Vladimir

Hi , After starting power supply , without any configuration od ST25R3911B, can we directly read the "IC Identity Register 0x3F" just to check the SPI with the controller is working or not ? Will it give the value specified in the datasheet or should I have to do some configurations before reading that?

Hi all,I have been pulling my hair out trying different ways to reverse my encoder counting direction. The checkbox "reverse counting direction" in Speed Sensing section does not seem to make any difference. I am using Attolic TrueSTUDIO IDE, and the Monitor in WB to check my speed. The corresponding code "#define ENC_INVERT_SPEED        DISABLE" in drive_parameters.h stays "DISABLE" no matter what I set in WB, but if I change measurement errors or FIFO depth settings, they will be changed in the very same source file.I also tried to manually change the code to ENABLE, with no change. Also tried to edit the TIM2 Initialization code and tried downcounting mode (instead of upcounting) with no success.Has anyone had similar issues? Any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hi community I'm using Nucleo-L011K4 board ADC to read analog level. Adjusting analog input to any value different that 0 works flawlessly but when I adjust input level to something <50mV ADC_GetValue return a digital value of 64 even if I wire ADC input directly to GND. I've test different boards with same result, I'm supossing that it's something wrong in my code. Are you so kind to let me know where is the problem?HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc); /* start ADC conversion */ /* USER CODE END 2 */   /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */   /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */     if (HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc, 10000) == HAL_OK) { /* wait for the conversion to be done and get data */ uint32_t adc_val = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc); /* get the value */ // adc_val >= 64 always! __HAL_ADC_CLEAR_FLAG(&hadc, ADC_FLAG_EOC);   } }   ...     static void MX_ADC_Init(void) {   /* USER CO

Hi All,When LWIP_NETIF_LINK_CALLBACK is enable in the STM32CubeMX LWIP middleware, it generates the following code from the FW_H7 V1.6.0 package:/* Set the link callback function, this function is called on change of link status*/ netif_set_link_callback(&gnetif, ethernet_link_status_updated);   /* Create the Ethernet link handler thread */ memset(&attributes, 0x0, sizeof(osThreadAttr_t)); attributes.name = "EthLink"; attributes.stack_size = INTERFACE_THREAD_STACK_SIZE; attributes.priority = osPriorityRealtime; osThreadNew(ethernetif_input, &gnetif, &attributes); The thread function it is starting is ethernetif_input instead of ethernet_link_thread.I think it's obviously a bug, so I'm not going to wait for confirmation and just log it as a defect. However, if I'm missing something please let me know.CheersDavid

I'm trying to use a function from a .c file (that I am trying to add to my project) in another .cpp file (touchGFX project screen.cpp), I included the header file, but I get an "undefined reference" error. I have figured out that this is a linking error, but I don't know how to link the .o files in the Makefile. I thought maybe putting the .c file into the same directory as the .cpp file would link them during the compilation process, but all it does is put the .o files into the same directory without linking them.I'm not too familiar with Makefile syntax, especially not how advanced it is in the ToughGFX Makefile, so it's hard for me to discern what is actually going on. Any advice?

Hello,in the datasheet of the M24LR64E-R is provided the internal capacitance of the M24LR64E-R for an SO8 package.Do you know what is the capacitance for the TSSOP8 package?Thank you,Mattia Berton

What does the grey filling indicate. Couldn't find any legend/detail covering this.I initially though it is the part connected to POR/VBAT circuit.. but doesn't look so.Attached image of the page.

I have ported the ST25DV NFC tag driver from STM SDK for TI's CC2650 SoC. Currently, I am able to successfully read and write TEXT data to the tag via I2C. However, when I read the data out from the tag using the STM's NFC Tap APP, I see that the data gets written from BLOCK 53 onwards in the EEPROM instead of the beginning of the block as shown below:Due to this, when I read the NDEF data from the APP, it does not show me the data that I have written. All the configurations are exactly as the driver provided by the STM. Am I missing something or doing wrong? What can be the solution to this? Thanks and hope to get some directions....

Hello,I develop on both Nucleo-WB55 and my own board with STM32WB55CG.When I use the Nucleo, everything works fine. When I use my own baord, I see the device in my smartphone application but I can't connect.I began to dig in and I found that when I use Nucleo, while connecting to smartphone, the software runs thru state EVT_LE_PHY_UPDATE_COMPLETE.But when I run on my own board the software doesn't reach to this state. Why is this different? I believe I'm using with the same stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_fw.bin.Thanks,Lior Malik

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a STM32WB dongle with an OpenThread MTD co-processor: I've started by modifing the example Thread_SED_Coap_Multicast from package STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.1.1.I can correctly going in full low power mode (CFG_FULL_LOW_POWER=1) and the power consumption is awesome!Anyway, when I try to get more info about the current network from the OpenThread stack it often returns null pointer (for example when I use otIp6GetUnicastAddresses, otIp6GetMulticastAddresses, otThreadGetLinkLocalIp6Address, and many others functions)Considering that I receive the notifichation from the otSetStateChangedCallback callback and check the role with otThreadGetDeviceRole, I'm sure I'm in the network (and I can both send and receive coap and udp unicast and multicast messages).I also tried by reading the OpenThread CLI source code and by implementing my code using the CLI as a guideline but where the CLI succeeds, I keep failing...At this point: are that function implemented? Am I m

Hi Community, this is my first post here.I was wondering if there is a way to get the previous releases of the CUBE-NFC03A1 libraries (1.4.0 and lower). In fact, I want to use the Ndef_lib examples which are not supported anymore in the latest version (V2.0.0)Thank you in advance,

Hello everyone,I am facing issues while performing Signal Integrity analysis using STM32h IBIS model.Currently i am analysing Signal Integrity for I2C signals where i am configuring my MCU I2C signal levels to 3.3V, but when simulated i am getting 2.4V at the I2C pins.If i perform the same test by configuring my MCU I2C signal levels to 1.8V, i am getting 1.8V at the I2C pins. Can anyone help me out in solving this problem.Model used for the analysis is attached below. I am using stm32h743_753_tfbga100.ibs.

Hi,I think there is a missing break statement in lan8742.c:170. In current version, if the code ever gets to line 170 (status = LAN8742_STATUS_RESET_TIMEOUT;) it will be stuck in an infinite loop. Adding break statement after this line fixes the problem. How I found this: My application needs Ethernet to work, so I added a system reset into ethernet_link_status_updated() in case netif is not up. If there is no Ethernet cable connected, this will cause that the system initializes ethernet and then resets itself since the netif will not be up. This goes on periodically for 15 - 30 minutes, but then eventually sooner or later the system will become stuck in the infinite loop described above.
