  Hi all I have St-link v2 and I am facing a problem for debugging Cortex M in stm32mp157-ev1. I think it is because of the differences between HW Vesion and FW in keil document and my results.     In attachment image is mentioned stlink v2-1. Shall i use Stlink V2 instead of V2-1? How do I change my version of the Stlink from V2 to V2-1? Best regards

Hi, I am developing a product which has a LCD. So I am using STM32F767zit6 MCU and MT48LC4M32B2 SDRAM on my custom board. I want to know is there any tutorial or example there which i can referrer to generate code form cubemx and test my SDRAM. I have a stm32f7508 -dk and I tried to use the example code provided in STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.15.0\Projects\STM32F7508-DISCO\Examples\FMC\FMC_SDRAM. When open the project in CUBEMX, i didnt see 0xC0000800 memory area changes. But i opened the same project using keil. Then it works. I want to know how to configure FMC module and write some code to verify the SDRAM. I have attached the project I m working.Thanks,Kasun

Hello,I'm trying to control the boot behavior of my STM32L412 development board which has a floating BOOT0 hardware pin.I'm trying to clear the SWBOOT0 bit in FLASH_OPTR using firmware. So far I am able to unlock the register and clear the bit. This works while the target is running, but as soon as I do a system reset, the FLASH_OPTR reverts back to a value of 0xFBFFF8AA. My code to clear the SWBOOT0 bit is below and all runs fine. What can I do to make FLASH_OPTR survive a system reset?__ramfunc void ClearSWBOOT0Pin(){     HAL_FLASH_Unlock();     HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock();     CLEAR_BIT(FLASH->OPTR, FLASH_OPTR_nSWBOOT0_Msk);     CLEAR_BIT(FLASH->OPTR, FLASH_OPTR_nBOOT0_Msk);     SET_BIT(FLASH->OPTR, FLASH_OPTR_nBOOT1_Msk);   HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock();  HAL_FLASH_Lock();   }

I'm struggling to create a simple touchgfx based project with cubemx for my F769I Disco board.I thought this is a simple job since there is nothing special. But I got and get stuck at several places.I created a new project using Board Selector and selecting "32F769IDISCOVERY", adding additional software "touch gfx"Now "LTDC Blending Factors: PAxCA not required for RGB565/RGB888" is redGenerating code created warning : "These IPs still have some not configured or wrong parameter values: [...TouchGFX..4.13...]"Application Structure seems to be set to "Advanced" otherwise files are missing in IAR 8 project.IAR 7 project is not compilable since intrinsics h is included in wrong order. (with IAR 7.70)Default save directory is inside user folder, this is not working since touchgfx does not support spaces in the pathSeems I have to open the created Touchgfx project in TouchGFX Designer and press "Generate Code"But after fiddling around all these issues, the project does not fit into the RAM,

Hi. I have generated a full device tree for the EV1 to add I2C5 pins PA11/PA12 for external connector hookup to some of my I2C widgets using STM32CubeMX. I've place the generated .dts file from the kernel/ folder into <linux-source>/arch/arm/boot/dts.I am now following the Wiki athttps://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_compile_the_device_tree_with_the_Developer_Packagein section 5.3.. . .PC $> pushd $WORKDIR/kernel/kernel-sources(ok)PC $> make O="$PWD/../build" multi_v7_defconfig(ok)PC $> for f in `ls -1 ../../sources/arm-openstlinux_weston-linux-gnueabi/linux-stm32mp-4.19-r0/fragment*.config`; do scripts/kconfig/merge_config.sh -m -r -O $PWD/../build $PWD/../build/.config $f; done(ok)PC $> make oldconfig O="$PWD/../build"(STOP)PROBLEM. The config script starts asking all of its unknown Y/n | y/N questions to which I have absolutely NO CLUE how to answer. Please advise regarding how to proceed to get a correct build.. . .(not done):PC $> make stm32mp157c-mydevicet

Hi All,So I've beern trying to write to the registers of the comparator 2 but when I debug , the values of the registers don't change. This leads me to believe that I have an issue getting the clock to the peripheral.I have a 16 MHz external XTAL which according to the RCC config below (unless I made a mistake) should give me 32 MHz at the APB2 bus which is used fro COMP 2XTAL (16 MHz) /2 = 8 Mhz -> PLL -> PLLMMUL = 8 MHz * 9 = 72 MHz -> HCLK = 72 MHz / 2 = 36 MHz -> PCLK2 (APB2) / 1 = 36 MHzRCC->CR |= RCC_CR_HSEON; //HSE on while((RCC->CR & RCC_CR_HSERDY) != RCC_CR_HSERDY); // Waiting for HSE to be ready RCC->CR &= ~RCC_CR_PLLON; // Disable PLL while((RCC->CR & RCC_CR_PLLRDY)== RCC_CR_PLLRDY); // Wait for pll to turn off RCC->CFGR = RCC_CFGR_PLLSRC_HSE_PREDIV | RCC_CFGR_PLLMUL9 | RCC_CFGR_HPRE_DIV1 | RCC_CFGR_PPRE1_DIV2 | RCC_CFGR_PLLXTPRE_HSE_PREDIV_DIV2;//PLLSCR = HSE/2 , PLLMUL = x9 (72Mhz),AHB prescaler not devided, APB1 Clock /2 = 36MHz

According to the STM32H7 reference manual (RM0433), there is only a single 128kB sector of user flash space available for STM32H750xB devices (0x08000000 - 0x0801FFFF).Other devices in the STM32H7 family (H742xI, H743xI, H753xI) have 2 banks of 8 128kB sectors, totaling 2MB of user flash available (0x08000000 - 0x081FFFFFF). During initial testing with an STM32H750xB device, it was discovered that flash beyond bank 1 sector 0 (0x08000000 - 0x0801FFFF) could be written to and read from, contrary to the indication in the reference manual for this device. Flash sectors starting at 0x08020000 and 0x08060000 could be used.Seeking an explanation for why flash sectors beyond the stated range seem usable for STM32H750xB devices and if there are any precautions to take when using these sectors.Has anyone encountered something like this with any of the STM32 MCU families?

I'm trying to make a simple low power application using the STM32L4R9I-DISCO board where I draw some stuff to the display, put the DSI link in ULPM, go to STOP2 mode, wakeup using the RTC,bring the DSI link out of ULPMrepeatI've gotten to the point where I wakeup from STOP2 and try to bring DSI out of ULPM, but DSI_PSR resets to the default LP-11 stop mode on both lines, which confuses the HAL_DSI_ExitULPM() function. This is not the behavior I expected, as the RM says the DSI is frozen and register content is kept during STOP2.Interestingly, DSI_PSR is the only register that changes. Everything else stays the same. It's like the PHY just "forgets" what mode the lanes are in.Code is attached at the bottom, I've tried not disabling the DSI (thought maybe it was resetting) but it doesn't make a difference, DSI_PSR still changes.

STM32L4P5G-DK data brief refers to the UM mentioned above for detailed description. But this manual doesn't seem to be available. Any clues where to find it???

I want to read 10 tags. I can read less. but I want to read all of them in each round. how can i optimize it? labels are affixed to a metal box. My st25ru3993 reader is located in a refrigerator. I connected the reader to the computer. I entered the appropriate values in the program (as shown in the video) but I can't get a proper result. Could you help?

Hi,I bought ST25RU3993-EVAL board.I want to reading tag's id. Can I make serial communication? I write console "minicom" .Then i set baudrate=3000000 and 8N1 and no flow control. But there is no text in terminal. How to make serial communication?

My board is STM32f072BBut I have a question, I can plug and reconnect to the PC in USB, but I think it is too much trouble and take time.Is there any way to reconnect without pulling the USB cable PC?

The power supply diagram shows the vssa pin of the chip, but it is not specified in the Pinout. It is also not clear the vddpa designation(= VDDRF1V5 or VDDSMPS) and why it is not connected anywhere. I also didn't find any information about vssrf. do you have a recommended connection scheme?

Hello, guys. I recently bought STM32H7B3I-DK and started playing with it. There are a few questions/issues I have:1) It seems that the board is recognized by the host PC only when it is directly connected to the PC's USB port. If I connect it through USB hub, the board is not visible and, consequently, not accessible. Do you have any idea why is that?2) I would like to perform printf style debugging of the code from STM32CubeIDE tool. I enabled SWV in Debug settings, opened SWV ITM Data Console, enabled port 0 and started trace. However, no printf messages are printed on the cosole. I am not sure how to set ITM block active. Would this be enough for transferring printf message to ITM block FIFO?#define DEMCR *((volatile uint32_t*) 0xE000EDFCU )   /* ITM register addresses */ #define ITM_STIMULUS_PORT0 *((volatile uint32_t*) 0xE0000000 ) #define ITM_TRACE_EN *((volatile uint32_t*) 0xE0000E00 )   void ITM_SendChar(uint8_t ch) { //Enable TRCENA DEMCR |= ( 1 << 24);

It asks to re-connect STLINK and press "yes". Nothing happens after. I've tried to install STM32CubeProgrammer to upgrade manually, but I could not get it running.OS X 10.15.4 java 14.0.1 2020-04-14Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 14.0.1+7)What should I do?Regards,T

Hi there!I've just started working with STM32CubeIDE and after a bit of a vertical learning curve I'm slowly getting to grips with most aspects of it.I want to DMA to GPIO and there doesn't appear to be any way to do this through the .ioc GUI interface. GPIO ports can't be targeted as a peripheral by the DMA interface, and when you select a MemToMem option in the DMA section, the code that is generated by STM32CubeIDE doesn't have any user sections, and is hence effectively not able to be edited by the user.The other issue is that the MemToMem DMA option doesn't expose the most useful options like "circular" mode (it only exposes "normal") and doesn't give the option to provide any triggers either.Have I hit the limits of what STM32CubeIDE is able to do already? or is there some way to achieve this through the STM32CubeIDE interface that I haven't yet seen?BTW FWIW I'm using the very very latest release of STM32CubeIDE.Thanks,Luke

I am working on a project that I would like to import a keyboard into, like the one in the examples. How do I import widgets into projects?

Hi,I am using STM32L0 MCUI am using HAL_USART_TRANSMIT function to send data to a computerI am using Timer interrupt to ensure that UART transmits data every secondBut when i see log on computer ,its not exactly 1 sec, and this change also varies with baudrate ,so if Baud rate is 115200 ,getting data on uart every 1.3 sec (approx.) and it is not same everytime,whereas with 9600 it is slower .How to ensure that uart sends data at every 1sec ( with HAL API or LL API or any other way) ?timer code(using systick timer) void SysTick_Handler(void)   {   /* USER CODE BEGIN SysTick_IRQn 0 */   /* USER CODE END SysTick_IRQn 0 */   HAL_IncTick();   /* USER CODE BEGIN SysTick_IRQn 1 */   if(flag_uart_delay == 0)   {   counter_uart ++ ;   if(counter_uart >= 1000)   {   flag_uart_delay = 1 ;   counter_uart = 0;   }   }   }Main Code if(flag_uart_delay == 1)   {   //HAL_TRANSMIT_DATA ( ... )

My board is single ended antenna, no AAT, and no capacitive sensor connected. I use a similar analog config with NFC06A1, but select only one channel. And it works when 'wakeupEnabled = false', failed when 'wakeupEnabled = true'. What may be the problem here? Am I missed something?Thanks.

I have been stumped on this for a long time. My board is a Nucleo F767ZI, and my LCD is an ILI9341 8080 interface. The AN2790 note gives the following equations for asynchronous SRAM:And the example they give for an SRAM with 100ns write cycle time:These are the 8080 timing constrains from the ILI9341 datasheet:And here are the tsu(Data_NE) and tv(A_NE) ranges given for the F76xx series for asynchronous SRAM:What's really throwing me off is tACC. The ILI9341 only lists data on max read access times, but I'm only concerned with write operations right now. And using the max frame access time gives me serious troubles:Using an HCLK of 72MHz, and setting tv(A_NE) = 0 (If max is 0.5ns then I assumed I could set this to anything lower?):(DATAST + ADDSET + 2)*(13.8ns) = 66ns (min write cycle time for LCD)DATAST*13.8 = 15ns (min low pulse write width for LCD)DATAST = (340ns + 10ns + 13.8ns - 1)/13.8ns - 4 - ADDSET ------> DATAST = 22 - ADDSET ???Please help me understand where I'm messing u
