Hi,I try to send data via CAN from the nucleo board to a USB-to-CAN device (peakCAN).I configured PA12 and PA11 as FDCAN1_TX and FDCAN1_RX. I measured pin 12 and pin 14 on the CN10 connector with a salea logic device, but got no valid frame. Pin 12 stays high (3.3V) and pin 14 remains low (0V).I also tried to change the PLL-frequency for the CAN peripheral to 40MHz as mentioned in some other posts (seen in the snippets below) - but it has the same effect like my implementation with 36MHz...Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks a lot...static void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END FDCAN1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END FDCAN1_Init 1 */ hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE

Hi,I am quite new to MEMS IMUs. I have a custom board containing LSM303AGR IMU connected to SAMD21 MCU via I2C.I am using the stm32duino LSM303AGR library.I am having a hard time understanding the Self test procedure. Is it possible to get a simpler procedural explanation? Also,1.Does self test require the device to be immobile?2.Can I take self test readings in mg (GetAxes() method instead of GetAxesRaw()), if so what is ST_X/Y/Z limits in mg? (from table 3 in datasheet is ST_X/Y/Z same as LA_ST?)(according to datasheet LA_ST min = 17LSB max = 360LSB, 1LSb = 3.9mg , so multiply by 3.9 for mg?) Thank you.

Hi,where can i find AN5500: ZSDK API for ZigBee® on STM32WB Series, referenced in AN5492 to be available on www.st.com?Regards, Rainer

1st question: How many numbers will be saved in RAM?2nd question: Is it possible to get more accurate data by decreasing the ADC sampling rate.Thank you.P.S: I'm sorry, if this is a very simple question but I am a structural engineer and nobody is perfect..

I'm working on a project where I have to drive a brushless motor. I'm using a NUCLEOF302R8 + X-Nucleo IHM08M1 with STM32CubeExpansion_SPN8_V1.0.2. I can't control my engine because I don't know how to modify the parameters contained in the MC_SixStep_param.h file. Is there an application note explaining how these parameters affect?

Hello, I try to control a motor using STEVAL-SPIN3201, a hall sensor and a encoder (in position control). I compile the generated files (generated via ST motor control workbench) via make. In speed position based on hall-sensor, the compilation work and I'm able to control the motor without problem. Moreover, when I add auxiliary sensor (Main: encoder, aux: hall sensor) and I start the compilation, I a have a RAM overflow during linking (overflow of 8bytes). To add the sensor we have modified the board (remove potentiometer) but I cannot found the related option in ST motor control workbench. Do you know if adding a second sensor on STEVAL-SPIN3201 is possible and if yes what do I have to change to make it works? Thanks in advance

Hi,Our board is base on STM32MP157C-DK2 and the HW difference are...1. DK2 CN7 USB Type-C is replaced by micro USB and removed STUSB1600.2. DK2 CN6 PWR-IN is replaced by DC jack and CC1 is 0.4v to PA4 and CC2 keep 0v to PA5.And we would like to program SD card (16GB, 8GB) by STM32CubeProgrammer with FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-dk2-trusted.tsvThe programmer can connect to our board via USB and this tsv is work to program DK2.Meanwhile the BOOT pin configures as USB mode (000b).Show the entire log as below:17:58:45 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.2.018:01:10 : Read TSV File: D:\AIRD\LiDAR\firmware\release_image\DK2\DK2-Trusted\FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-dk2-trusted.tsv18:01:10 : Number of partitions: 918:01:50 : USB speed : High Speed (480MBit/s)18:01:50 : Manuf. Hi,since a couple of days i tried to get the STEVAL-ROBOT-1 up and running properly. But as i mentioned here:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000003yGcdSAE/to-choice-a-kit-for-pmsmyesterday, i got more problems, than i would have expected from libraries, provided by a "mature" company like ST.Ok, giving up is not an option... So meanwhile i figured out, what´s wrong (After around 30 hours of search...). But step by step: After many problems, importing the (actual) STSW-ROBOT-1 into cubeIDE and getting it to be built, i faced problems with unreliable position control, unexpected behaviour with torque regulation, unexpected moving motor and so on. Until yesterday i thought, it´s maybe just an error in some overflow calculation, but THIS is even worse:In the file trajectory_ctrl.c , located in the folder \MCSDK_v5.4.3\MotorControl\MCSDK\MCLib\Any\Src , Lines 341 - 354 , the function void TC_EncoderReset(PosCtrl_Handle_t *pHandle) is the problem:This function is called within the E

Hey guys. I am facing with annoying problem. i have designed my own custom stm32 board with stm32f103cbt6 mcu. At the beginning, when i try to burn bootloader via stlink, I successfully did it and i could programmed my custom pcb via usb. the PC13 led was blinking with properly. but suddenly it goes. usb didn`t work and when i tried to burn bootloader again, stlink can not connect and it says the core is held in reset. do you have any idea about it? i have googled it several times, i found some solutions but they didn`t work for mine.

Hello,I'm using a Nucleo F446ZE to test timer capabilities to make a peak-and-hold PWM driver. I already have the core functionality where TIM1 uses DMA to run through a buffer of variable duty cycles at a higher frequency (e.g. 5 kHz) for the high-side mosfet. TIM2 is triggered by TIM1 to produce a synchronized signal that is low frequency (e.g. 1 Hz) for the low-side mosfet. The problem I have now is making a third timer output that is synchronized to the first two but with a programmable phase shift. In reality I do have code that will make a synchronized, phase-shifted signal as shown in the image but there is an issue.Image legend: TIM1 high-frequency (yellow), TIM2 low-frequency (cyan), TIM2 phase-shift falling-edge trigger (magenta), and TIM3 phase-shifted signal (blue). What’s supposed to happen is that the blue line goes high on the falling edge of the magenta line, as seen in the 2nd half of the scope image. And this method does work except for the very first output cycle as se

In the document UM1775 there is stated the following:"5 V and 3 V can be used as output power supplies when an extension board isconnected to pins P2 and P3....In this case, the 5V_O and 3V_O pins deliver a 5 V or 3.3 V power supply and thepower consumption of the extension board must be lower than 100 mA."Yet, the Supply for 3V_O is gated through T2 which in turn is controlled by PB15 on the SM32F103 (PWR_ENn); I guess that this is the controller which handles the ST-Link and cannot be changed. How does this controller determine if there is an extension board connected to P2 or P3 so that it enables that supply?

Hi, i want to use node.js on STM32MP157C-DK2. I found this post https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000B0xovG/installing-nodejs-on-the-stm32mp1 , but I dont want to rebuild the imageIs there a way to install node.js without rebuilding the image?I tried this raspberryPi-tutorial: https://www.instructables.com/id/Install-Nodejs-and-Npm-on-Raspberry-Pi/This works fine until I want to check the version withnode -vI get following error:node: error while loading shared libraries: libatomic.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory thanks in advanceLukas

I've looked at the reference design in the application note AN5615 page 13. This micro controller has integrated load capacitors for the high speed external oscillator. In the bottom right package, on the 32Mhz oscillator there is a symbol leading to ground. I do not understand what this specifies in wiring.Do the OSC_In and OSC_Out pins connect to the crystal and then connect to ground? My crystal package has 2 pads for ground as well. Is the diagram referring to these pads being connected to ground?I have attached some pictures of the schematics I am designing. I would greatly appreciate any help.AN5165: https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00504903-development-of-rf-hardware-using-stm32wb-microcontrollers-stmicroelectronics.pdf

I'm having problems loading the CR95HF.dll library into the Visual studio 2019 development environment. When I try to add the file copied in the path C:\Windows\System32\ the system returns the following error: "A reference "CR95HF.dll" can't be added, Please make sure that the file is accessible and that it is a valid assembly or COM component. Can someone help me?

I am using NUCLEO-G474RE as my hardware.STM32CubeIDE V1.3.1 and STM32G4 Fw V1.2.0.I am using ADC2 with 4 channels triggered by HRTIM CH B Compare 4 Injected. So these 4 channels are triggered interleaved, meaning that every HRTIM-CH-B Compare 4 only one ADC channel is triggered according to rank.So for 1st occurrence of Comparewill trigger rank1 then the second compare it will be rank2 so on and so forth until it gets back to rank1 again.I can see that the S/H is working as shown in the waveform below. The circuit is similar to HRTIM cookbook section 7.1 Debugging ADC operation.Below is the HTRIM outputMy setup for ADC2:static void MX_ADC2_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END ADC2_Init 0 */   ADC_InjectionConfTypeDef sConfigInjected = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC2_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END ADC2_Init 1 */ /** Common config */ hadc2.Instance = ADC2; hadc2.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV4; hadc2.Init.Resolution

Hi,I was playing around with my STM32h745I-Disco and did some tests regarding starting and stopping the CM4 from the CM7. But I accidantly messed my the option bytes up. I disabled BCM7 and BCM4 with CubeProgrammer and now the chip is not starting anymore. But I can also not connect to with the embedded ST-Link to recover the option bytes. Is there a way to get the board back to work?Thank you and best regardsPhilipp

I have bunch of M24C02 eeproms in some old equipment that I would like to reprogram. I have an ST-Link/V2 installed on an laptop running Windows 10. It has the STM32 STLink driver installed. I also have installed ST Visual Develop. Using this set of software/hardware how shall I proceed to read/write this memory?I believe I should hook up the devices according to this diagram

Hi,I'm playing around HSEM module and i noticed strange behavior. Why calling:HAL_HSEM_FastTake(HSEM_ID_0);orHAL_HSEM_Take(HSEM_ID_0, 0);lock all semaphores at once instead of just locking single semaphore specified by a macro using 0 as processid? Then calling release will unlock only the one specified macro and we end up with 31 semaphores locked unintentionally.

Hi all,I am considering the STM32L073RZ for a low earth orbit application. Would this MCU be suitable for the following operational environment?Altitudes of 590 – 630 km.Temperature environment range is -40°C to +70°C.Total Ionizing Dose (TID) exposure to 12 krad(Si).Would this device be susceptible to outgassing in a vacuum environment? If not suitable then are any alternatives available from ST? I have a strong preference for the ST development environment.Regards
