i have got a problem when i download stm32cubeide and install. i have download the file "en.gnu-tools-for-stm32-7-2018-q2-update.20190328-1800.zip" is correct? i have extracted the file, but can not find out the installation file in extract folder. any problem. thank you.kevin

Updated Question:I have a custom PCB board with L052K8 and F051K8 with the same peripherals and correct hardware design for each (F051K8 has a VSSA for the ADC and different bypass cap), but only the L051K8 is able to program its firmware and reset correctly.I was initially designing the board for the L052K8 and could not figure out what was wrong for weeks, so I pretty much chose a different chip with the same footprint and peripherals (F051K8) at the end to minimize re-designing the hardware. The L052K8 does not seem to program its firmware or reset after it's been disconnected from ST-link and the IDE.Can someone please explain this?Original Question:Hi, I've just made a custom board for STM32L052K8, and I can't get the board to work. It seems that the connection is successful and I am able to program it using ST link (SWD).I programmed a very simple GPIO application with STM32CubeIDE (which I have verified using a nucleo board), and the firmware seems to run initially.However, when

Hi all,I'm currently using STM32F051K8 for a smartwatch project I'm pursuing on a custom made PCB. For power consumption reasons, I wanted to change the MCU to STM32L051K8 which has the exact same UFQFPN-32 footprint.Now, my project works perfectly fine using the F051K8, but I cannot get Keil to program L051K8 correctly. I've swapped the bypass capacitor correctly and 3.3V is workable for both MCUs.So I have even tried a simple LED blink program, in which Keil works correctly to program the F051K8, but cannot program L051K8.The funny thing is, the build works without any errors, and loads up to the board without any errors, but after a reset, the L051K8 does not seem to run the applicationI've used cubeMX to build the skeleton project, then I used Keil to write out the rest of the firmware code.Is there anything I should change on the firmware for using the L051K8 instead of F051K8? I have very limited knowledge on heap and stack and memories and all that which is making it very diffic

Hi!I have a STM32F765ZITx as master and a STM32F051C8Tx board as slave that im trying to communicated with each other over IrDa. The master is sending 6 bytes (2 startbytes, 1 length of data byte, 1 databyte, 2 checksum bytes) to the slave, which works as a request that the slave is going to transmit back to master a standard reply message containing 14 bytes of data (19 byte including header and checksum). Master transmits every 100ms. My problem is that the slave is receiving the correct header every two samples. This is the situation:sample 1: 254 251 1sample 2: 0 251 1sample 3: 254 251 1 sample 4: 0 251 1sample 5: 254 251 1  .  .  .So the slave is transmitting the standard reply back every two samples. Here is my init of IrDA on both boards:static void MX_USART1_IRDA_Init(void) { hirda1.Instance = USART1; hirda1.Init.BaudRate = 9600; hirda1.Init.WordLength = IRDA_WORDLENGTH_8B; hirda1.Init.Parity = IRDA_PARITY_NONE; hirda1

I have requirements to keep a header bar with a number of status indicators visible on all screens. At first I created a custom component representing the header bar and placed it on all screens. But that is a duplication and any time I change screens, the bar animates with it.I then tried using swipe containers, but TouchGFX designer crashed with an array index out of bounds error every time I tried to hide the container I'm not editing. Any insight as to how to maintain a common container for part of the screen on all screens/views?

I am trying to go in standby and wake up after few seconds repeatedly with using RTC wake-up timer but I am having problem after second sleep. It goes sleep, wakes up and then goes sleep again like I expected but after that point(after second sleep) it never wakes up again. I am too having sleep disorder sometimes but I think it is problem for health forums. Anyway my code is like that: int main(void){ HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); uart_init(); led_init(); adc_init(); while(HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&pADC1)!=HAL_OK) {HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOD,GPIO_PIN_15); HAL_Delay(100);} HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOD,GPIO_PIN_15); HAL_Delay(1000); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WU); enter_standby_mode(); while (1) { }}void enter_standby_mode(void){ RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_PWREN; //enable PWR RCC->APB1RSTR |= RCC_APB1RSTR_PWRRST; RCC->APB1RSTR &= ~RCC_APB1RSTR_PWRRST; PWR->CR |= PWR_CR_DBP; //Disable backup domain write protection RCC->CSR |= RCC_CSR_LSION;

Hi everybody)I have a problem with exiting after shutdown mode. Entering codeif( (LL_PWR_IsActiveFlag_C1SB() == 0) || (LL_PWR_IsActiveFlag_C2SB() == 0) ) { /* Set the lowest low-power mode for CPU2: shutdown mode */ LL_C2_PWR_SetPowerMode(LL_PWR_MODE_SHUTDOWN); } HAL_RTCEx_BKUPWrite(&hrtc, 5, 0x0005); HAL_PWREx_ClearWakeupFlag(PWR_FLAG_WU); HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1_LOW); HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_PWREx_EnterSHUTDOWNMode();My board have a button in PA0 with external pullup resistor.When I press the button MCU exiting from shutdown mode, but my function if (__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF1)) ...return FALSE always. My starting code:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */   /

Hi I would like to know whether the interface is cubic-bezier left in touchgfx.I noticed that there's a little bit less description of the easing equation .Thank you.

Hello,I try to play a sound using stm32h747i_discovery_audio.c. Initialization goes well void CAudioController::AudioOutInit() { BSP_AUDIO_Init_t audioOutInit;   if (!audioOutInitDone_) { audioOutInit.Device = AUDIO_OUT_DEVICE_HEADPHONE; audioOutInit.ChannelsNbr = 2; audioOutInit.SampleRate = AUDIO_FREQUENCY_44K; audioOutInit.BitsPerSample = AUDIO_RESOLUTION_16B; audioOutInit.Volume = 50; if (BSP_AUDIO_OUT_Init(0, &audioOutInit)!=BSP_ERROR_NONE) { while(1); } audioOutInitDone_ = true; } } But first call BSP_AUDIO_OUT_Play callBSP_AUDIO_OUT_Play(0,playBuf,1024);ends up in the default handler. It is a bit strange but while debugging the program jumps to the default handler either from HAL_DMA_Start_ITcall or from __HAL_SAI_ENABLE_IT(hsai, SAI_InterruptFlag(hsai, SAI_MODE_DMA));inside BSP_AUDIO_OUT_Play().The BSP_AUDIO_OUT_Init() initializes Sai and DMA. Does anybody have a hint in which direction to look for the root cause?Best Regards,Anton

Hi, I would like to know the current consumption of a LSM6DS3 with it's accelerometer and gyroscope running at 52 Hz and 104 Hz. The LSM6DS3 will be powered by a 2.8V source. Are there any official numbers or documents available for this?

I am trying to interface another cpu to ST25RU3993 EVAL using the serial port. what are the serial port settings? baud rate 3000000, 8N1, RTS_CTS on ? Can i change the baud rate without uploading new firmware to the board?

Posted on February 21, 2018 at 13:01Hi;I have a problem.I want to be output pins PC14 and PC 15, so make the registers PWR -> CR = 0x00000100, RCC-> BDCR = 0x00000000. probably  LSE ocillator isn't off. thim my code :#include 'stm32f10x.h'#include 'stm32f10x_gpio.h'#include 'stm32f10x_rcc.h'int main(void){PWR -> CR = 0x00000100;RCC-> BDCR = 0x00000000.;RCC_APB2PeriphClockCmd(RCC_APB2Perirh_GPIOC, ENABLE);GPIO_InitTypeDef control;control.GPIO_Pin = GPIO_Pin_14 | GPIO_Pin_15;control.GPIO_Mode = GPIO_Mode_Out_PP;control.GPIO_Speed = GPIO_Speed_2MHz;GPIO_Init(GPIOC, &control);      while(1){                  GPIO_SetBits(GPIOC, GPIO_Pin_15);          GPIO_SetBits(GPIOC, GPIO_Pin_14);      }}How can do this ?Thanks,

Hello!Dear ST technician!Using the chip STM32L476 +3993 provided by your company and the original code provided by the official,I have encountered a problem of operating tags. I sincerely consult you here:When the tags of GB29768 is inventory,In tag memory, read from area:Read operation of coding, Tag Information, Security, User,"Could not read tag..." Warning, unable to operate,Compared with gen2 tag, the above functions can successfully perform read and set operations,detailed reading of the source code, see a complete preparation of GB29768 tags operation procedures,the ST25RU3993 Reader Suite also feels perfectly functional,So I'm glad to consult you, could you tell me what caused it?I wish you good health!ST loyal user

Hello, I could not infer from the datasheet that ST25DV04K could be used at fast mode I2C speeds (400 kb/s). The datasheet states "Two-wire I2C serial interface supports 1MHz protocol". The datasheet does not mention compatibility with other I2C speeds. I want to confirm that the IC will work for I2C@400 kb/s operations smoothlyThanks,Eshwar

Hello, I would like to know in detail how exactly does the Engineering mode work on this platform. The information at https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32CubeMP1_development_guidelines are kind of vague and a little confusing. Is the Cortex-A7 being used in this mode at all, or it goes straight to an infinite loop? Where is the secure debugger running, if the A7 is not used? Is the ROM code executed by the Cortex-M4? The figure shows that the debugger runs on the Cortex-A7, which technically means it also loads and runs the co-processor firmware, so it can not go into an infinite loop?

Hello,I am trying to read some NFC tag with a X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 attached to a NUCLEO F091RC board. I am a beginner into those technology, so basically I was trying to load the sample "NFC Detect " from the package "X-CUBE-NFC3" wich can be found on ST official website to understand how to use NFC stuff. The problem is, I tried to build the project on the STM32 IDE Cube, and it worked fine, but i can't read anything on the NFC NUcleo's antenna after running the programm. I suppose there are problems of initialisation , but i have no idea how to debug this. Thanks you for your time,Best Regards,Karim

Dear all, I am using SAI in STM32H7 to control an external audio codec. Everything works fine except the fact that when I look at the actual sampling frequency (SAI FS signal ) I measure 45.5kHz rather than 44.1kHz as specified in the init. The clock of the SAI is 128M. Do you know what i should look at to get the closest frequency possible ?

Can I use only the TX and RX pins of an USART and make it work exactly as an UART?

Hardware Setup: MCU: STM32L496ZG (Nucleo- L496ZG board) connected to ST25R3911B over SPI, tag is ISO15693 compliant Software: Using the rfal library and the iso15693 APIs in en.STSW-ST25RFAL001 (V2.1.2)IDE: Atollic TrueStudio V9.3.0Is it possible to use non-blocking SPI drivers to create an RFID comms interface using the ST25r3911B and STM32L496 MCU?So far I have successfully implemented RFID comms using blocking drivers that involve using the `spiTxRx` function in the platform.h file and calling the `st25r3911Isr()` in the ISR for the INT pin of the STM32L496.But what happens if I have non-blocking SPI drivers that implement a state machine to handle SPI transactions and is not a single function call like `spiTxRx`? How do I modify the `platform.h` file and use the rfal in that case?Does the ST25R3911B support RFID comms using non-blocking SPI drivers?
