ST link V3 Mini uses dense 10 lead cables. Ebay doesn't find anything suitable and Digikey has some I think, but it is expensive to order just some cable. This I think is one https://www.digikey.fi/product-detail/en/adafruit-industries-llc/1675/1528-2009-ND/6827142

Hi, I'm using STM32L072KZT6 microcontroller, and I'm trying to make USB DFU Standalone bootloader. I've done many bootloader standalone firmwares for STM32 MCUs, for F0, F1, F3, F4 series, and had never encountered this kind of a problem. It's not deterministic, I've succeeded couple of times to write my firmware via DfuSe, and successfully run the main program, but in most cases it fails. Windows does not complain about the driver when the USB is plugged in, when I try to update it, it says that I'm already using the newest version. The problem appears in the following moments:When USB is plugged inWhen Upgrade button is pressed inside DfuSe demoI've tried different solutions, running DfuSe from STM32L folder, but nothing helped. My firmware is almost the same as an example for 32L0538DISCOVERY inside Cube L0 repository, and I'm using the latest version of L0 Cube firmware (V1.11.2). I've attached some pictures of the error message, driver version, and .zip file of my CubeIDE project.

Hello St Forum! Good to be back at it for another little project here. Good to see familiar names.SPI Going to try and match up an STM32l476VG using SPI to a Ethernet widget. Widget says it can use SPI and apparently it (widget) will auto increment address for storage/reading of incoming/outgoing bytes by simply continuing the SCLK! Example:send 4 DATA bytes to sequential addresses in widget by :32 clocks ( containing, for this device, MODE BYTE for READ/WRITE, 2 address bytes and a DATA BYTE)Then 8 more clocks and data bits and data bits get shoved to the next address in widgetDo that 2 more times and --- you've send 4 bytes!Hopefully I understood *THAT* like it was meant.Burst mode maybe? Not Googled it yet. Obviously I value here more than Google :) Many acronyms and buzzwords with SPI. Especially from various different manufactures and a LOOSE spec! I see in the 476 RM timing diagrams, that the SPI1,2,3 channels *LOOK* like they will do this 8 bit data size "mul

I am developing an X-CUBE-USB-PD system that works with the STM32G070CB and FUSB307B.It is based on an example project for the FUSB307BGEVB, which behaves as a DRP.The library I'm using for it is M0_PD3_FULL.It works fine in most cases, but there is one problem. When acting as a sink, PE will send a HardReset about 450ms after Explicit Contract. What could be the reason for the state transition from PE_STATE_READY_WAIT to PE_STATE_HARD_RESET?

hey hi ,To read the memory blocks from NFC-A T2T PICC , do we need to use all the stuffs like authentication and all just like in MFRC522 library files or this all is handled in RFAL Library ?rfalT2TPollerRead() ---Does this function serves the purpose?

Hi,I have problem (OVERRUN flag) with data transfer from DCMI to external SDRAM.I have STM32H753 which in AN5020 has architecture like this:(Application note, Digital camera interface (DCMI) for STM32 MCUs)So it has connection between DCMI and FMC via DMA1/2 and D2-D1-bridge.Great, but ...when I send frame 320x240@RGB888 from DCMI to SDRAM, I get in HAL_DCMI_GetError value 0x41 (HAL_DCMI_ERROR_DMA | HAL_DCMI_ERROR_OVR) and in HAL_DMA_GetError valueo 0x00 (HAL_DMA_ERROR_NONE).Configuration for DCMI and DMA:hdcmi.Instance = DCMI; hdcmi.Init.SynchroMode = DCMI_SYNCHRO_HARDWARE; hdcmi.Init.PCKPolarity = DCMI_PCKPOLARITY_RISING; hdcmi.Init.VSPolarity = DCMI_VSPOLARITY_HIGH; hdcmi.Init.HSPolarity = DCMI_HSPOLARITY_LOW; hdcmi.Init.CaptureRate = DCMI_CR_ALL_FRAME; hdcmi.Init.ExtendedDataMode = DCMI_EXTEND_DATA_8B; hdcmi.Init.JPEGMode = DCMI_JPEG_DISABLE; hdcmi.Init.ByteSelectMode = DCMI_BSM_ALL; hdcmi.Init.ByteSelectStart = DCMI_OEBS_ODD; hdcmi.Init.LineSelectMode = DCMI_LSM_ALL; hdcmi.Init.Li

I would like to increase no-response time by a few ms instead of 64/fc (4.72us) or 4096/fc(302.08us?), say 100ms(milliseconds). What should be the values in 0Fh, 10h and 11h registers.? I see bit4 in 0Fh register mentions time configuration in milliseconds configuration but don't how to use.Host uses rfal API.Thank you for your support! Thanks,Veera

Hi,Master:Platform: STM32F301K8UCPU clock frequency：72MAs shown in the figure, the original analog video signal (PA7 pin) is compared with DAC1_CH1 through a comparator, and a pulse sequence with a slightly changed duty cycle and period is output. ).my question:How to control PA8 (or PA9 / PA10) to output a pulse sequence that is inverse to this pulse sequence, but the phase shift should not exceed 0.25us? I now capture the input of PA3 and control the PWM output of PA8 in its interrupt, resulting in the output waveform always being slower than PA2 (much greater than 0.25us).Thank you very much.

Hello,I am trying to set up CAN communication on my F042K6 using the HAL library. I have followed the stm guide (attached). I got most of the functionality working, however if i try to use the Rx interrupt using "void HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback(CAN_HandleTypeDef*hcan)" the MCU gets stuck in this interrupt when it receives a message. I do not know what i am doing wrong and why I cannot leave the interrupt. I think it might have something to do with the NVIC interrupt priorities maybe? If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Please see attached my code, NVIC settings and the guide i followed.Thank you:)

Hello everyone,I'm working on the ST B-G431B-ESC1 board and I don't understand the function of the pin GPIO_BEMF from the Back-EMF detection. This pin is in common with the others motor phase. Can you explain the function of this pin please ?The full schematics is available here : https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/dm00564746-electronic-speed-controller-discovery-kit-for-drones-with-stm32g431cb-stmicroelectronics.pdfThank you.

Hello, I am trying to use the LSM to detect taps . I use the default configuration which suggested in the application notes : 1. Write 60h to CTRL1_XL // Turn on the accelerometer   // ODR_XL = 417 Hz, FS_XL = ±2 g   2. Write 0Eh to TAP_CFG0 // Enable tap detection on X, Y, Z-axis   3. Write 0Ch to TAP_CFG1 // Set X-axis threshold and axes priority   4. Write 8Ch to TAP_CFG2 // Set Y-axis threshold and enable interrupt   5. Write 0Ch to TAP_THS_6D // Set Z-axis threshold   6. Write 7Fh to INT_DUR2 // Set Duration, Quiet and Shock time windows   7. Write 80h to WAKE_UP_THS // Single-tap and double-tap enabled (SINGLE_DOUBLE_TAP = 1)   8. Write 08h to MD1_CFG // Double-tap interrupt driven to INT1 pin With this configuration i am able to get interrupts. My problem starts when i try to check the cause of the interrupt by reading TAP_SRC or ALL_INT_SRC. When i read ALL_INT_SRC register i see that the cause of the interrupt was Wake-up event(W

I am trying to install autodevkit plugin using install new software option from help but some features are not getting installed.I am getting the following error:Missing requirement: Autodevkit feature Group 1.1.1.20200327200248 (com.st.tools.autodevkit.feature.group.feature.group 1.1.1.20200327200248) requires 'com.st.spc5.components.spc5rla.usbtypec.full.feature.feature.group 1.3.2' but it could not be foundI think this error is linked to the missing feature/improper installation of autodevkit. Please guide .

Hello,I'm using a STM32L072CB with STOP mode and in section 32.9.3 in the user manual I stumbled over following information:"When exiting from Stop mode, the clock configuration is identical to theone after RESET. Consequently, the software must reprogram the clock controller to enable the PLL, the Xtal, etc."I'm using the MSI at range 6 (default is 5) and the LSI is ON. Additionally there are changes for example in RCC_CCIPR and RCC_CSR. And also checked following question:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009q2xHv/stm32f0-reconfigure-clocks-after-exiting-stop-modehttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkWtNSAV/what-to-configure-after-stopmode-wakeup1. Question: What is the meaning of RESET? The reset values in the register map in section 7.3.22? 2. Question: Are only the registers of the RCC affected or also the peripherals (e.g. LPTIMER?)3. Question: Basically I "only" need to reconfigure the RCC registers (section 7.3 in user manual) again after leaving STOP mode?

Hello,I'm using STMCubeIDE, with firmware version: STM32Cube FW_F4 V1.25.0I am trying to implement a USB virtual COM port. My code is working on the STM32F4 discovery board. I then created a new project for the STM32F411CEU6 "Black Pill", but the USB device will not enumerate. Error message in windows is "Device Descriptor Request Failed"For the project, I select "Device Only" for USB_OTG_FS, and in the USB_DEVICE middleware, I select "Communication Device Class (Virtual Port Com). The only other change I made to the generated code was to usb_cdc_if.c file to add the lineCoding.I've attached my clock configuration screenshot.Has anyone tried to implement a USB device on one of these black pills? If so, would you know if I'm making any obvious error with what I'm trying to do?Thank you very much,Garrett.

When I want to detect the variables of 2-d array, found it have not be support in this tool, just support for 1-d array, can anyone help to check it whether is my omission or this function is not existed.

Hi,I am working on CAN on STM32F103C8T6. I am using a Callback Function of (HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback) but soon after receiving message code hangs in Callback Function even though no data sent afterwards it.I am not getting the reason. Because this function works fine on CORTEX-M4 pocessor. However, Transmit_Interrupt is working fine. But receive interrupt is hanging. Here, is the code Snippet.Code is getting stuck in the receiver callback function (HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback)./* INTERRUPT HANG IN RECEIVER ISR FUNCTION */void HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback (CAN_HandleTypeDef *hcan) {CAN_RxHeaderTypeDef RxHeader;uint8_t rcvd_msg[5];char msg[50];if(HAL_CAN_GetRxMessage((CAN_HandleTypeDef*)&hcan,CAN_RX_FIFO0,&RxHeader,rcvd_msg) != HAL_OK){Error_Handler();}sprintf(msg,"Message Received : %s\n",rcvd_msg);HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1,(uint8_t*)msg,strlen(msg),10);}Guys, please help. Thanks,Alankrit

Hi !Don't know if this issue relies to new version V5.6.1, but if SW4STM32 is chosen as tool chain the linker script file (*.ld) is not generated anymore!Steps to reproduce:1) generate a new project (e.g. from board selector: NUCLEO-F072RB)2) goto "Project Manager" tab:enter Project Name and Project Locationselect SW4STM32 toolchain3) press button GENERATE CODE==> the generated output folder contains no *.ld file.Same procedure with makefile as toolchain: file STM32F072RBTx_FLASH.ld is generated

I am trying to get user input from the GUI to FreeRTOS. The text area buffer is transferred from my screen1View, to screen1Presenter, to model then added to a queue. Finally, my task in FreeRTOS will check for new data in the queue every 1 second. The problem now is the received data. The user input in gui is 57346,the text area display this number correctly i.e. no space in between the numbers. But in my ucData[10] buffer, a 0 space exist in between the number i.e. 5070304060. How can I correctly transfer the user input to my main.c? Where is the cause for this ? Thank you!Other code information below if relevant.Screen1View.cpp   void Screen1View::doUpdatePIDParam() {   presenter->doUpdatePIDParamB( textArea_PBuffer, textArea_IBuffer, textArea_DBuffer, textArea_TargetBuffer); }Screen1Presenter.cpp   void Screen1Presenter::doUpdatePIDParamB( Unicode::UnicodeChar *bufferP, Unicode::UnicodeChar *bufferI, Unicode::UnicodeChar *bufferD, Unicode::Unico

So I am guessing it's the issue with the memory allocation. I followed the steps given for External addressable flash in TouchGFX documentation in STM32Cube IDE.(I am not using my application to test Quad SPI Memory: I followed the exact steps given for memory mapped mode with the same example as given in the TouchGFX Documentation)I have read application notes 4760 as well and tried that too still I am getting "???????" from memory address 0x90000000 onwards. What does that mean? Is it reading anything? This application is going to display real time data on the display. which External memory should be compatible for this? External RAM or External flash? Can you please guide me in the right direction?Thank you in advance.
