I would like to use a 24bit 800*480 LCD.I ask if the value set in CUBE MX is correct. Please help.

I want to generate waveform for 8 channel WS2812 leds using STM32F103. This device uses pulse with to transfer bits.. The longer pulse means 1, the shorter means 0.. Because I want to generate 8 channel wavefrm, I configured 3 DMA's, one moves 0xFF to GPIO, one moves value from RAM to GPIO, and the third one moves 0x00 to GPIO.. The timing is generated by TIM2's CC1, CC2 and TIM2's update events.. That way, CC1 moves 1s to GPIO, CC2 moves Data to GPIO, update moves 0s to GPIO.TIM3 is connected as slave to the TIM2. In each TIM2 update, TIM3 counts up. It is configured as oen pulse, so that when TIM3 reaches ARR, it disables it self.. TIM2 is connected as slave to TIM3 as gated mode.. When TIM3 starts/stops TIM2 starts/stops as well.. This way I limit the transfers, and after final TIM2 update, which moves 0 to the GPIO, system stops until I reenable the timer.Waveform for 8 channels is generated correctly but the very first pulse is generated wrong.. It looks like TIM2 generates reques

I did check the reference manual, but it was not stated. I have also seen in an image the same core has different counts of UART. Hence I am a bit confused.

Posted on December 04, 2017 at 07:31Hi, We are planning to use SPC5 Studio as IDE for SPC56xP series microcontroller.I would like to get information on the below points regarding the SPC5 Studio.1. I understood that its free trial evaluation is available for 3 Months. I would like to know what shall be license cost after the 3 months trial period.2. Please let me know how to get the Low Level Drivers with the SPC5 Studio.3. I have also downloaded the SPC5-CRYP-LIB. Would like to know how to include it in SPC5 Studio to get the Library Code. Let me know if any manuals available to understand the points 2 & 3.Also would like to know if any NDA required to use SPC5-CRYP-LIB and SPC5 Studio.  Regards,Kavitha

I need more info about how i can read and write this MCU.Which software and programmer i need to acces to this MCU?

Hi,I am trying to use subGHz RF modules in my design. I have following questions. It would great if any one could answer these questions. I am trying to build sensor nodes + Gateway. Planning to use mesh over sub GHz.What is the difference between S2LP, SPIRIT1, SPSGRF and SPSGRFC.out of S2LP, SPIRIT1, SPSGRF and SPSGRFC which one is best suited for quick prototyping After designing the solution do we need to have FCC certifications again? even for SPSGRF and SPSGRFC.All sub Ghz radios supported by Contiki stack?Out of above transceiver modules which one provide long range with Low power. WHat is the advantage of using 3 party radios based on SPSGRF . That is, radio controli etc..I have ordered EV kits SPSGRF. I will explore more. Thanks,Naveen

HiI met a problem with generating a single interrupt after an NDEF message is written to the tag.I have managed to change the GPO register to 0b11000000, which means the interrupt should only happen when a successful RF-write is performed. However, the interrupt is generated as long as I put my phone near the tag, which based on my understanding should correspond to FIELD_CHANGE_EN=1. But I have checked the GPO register and FIELD_CHANGE_EN=0. I have also checked the interrupt signal with a logic analyzer. During NDEF message writing, there are multiple pulses generated by the chip.I don't know what is wrong, any suggestions?I have attached the main.c file in the post.Thank you guys in advance.Yuechuan

hello,i use a NUCLEO-G071RB board and want to route the internal HSI16 clock to MCO pin (Pin12).First i created a board project with CubeMX and aktivated the MCO pin. Then i set HSI16 as default clock and routed the clock signal to MCO pin. After code generation and starting the programm i cant measure a signal on MCO pin.

This is a fairly high-level question... but just wondering whether the NVIC system is capable of interrupting an interrupt when one of higher priority comes in? Can someone point me to information on this? Thanks,Doug Burrell

I'm using a Nucleo-144 and have not been able to get X-CUBE-AI working in TrustZone. I'm using STM32CubeIDE and trying to add X-CUBE-AI with the software component manager (with the integrated STM32CubeMX).Interestingly, before a recent update (so STM32CubeIDE 1.5.1, STM32L5 package version 1.3.1, and I think STM32CubeMX 6.1.1), adding X-CUBE-AI wasn't even an option in the component manager with TrustZone applications, I just tried to manually add the code but it would hang once it entered the X-CUBE-AI library (NetworkRuntime520_CM33_GCC.a). After an update (STM32Cube IDE 1.6.0, STM32L5 package version 1.4.0, and STM32CubeMX 6.2.0) it's an option in the component manager but STM32CubeMX fails to generate the code (FreeMarker template error).Anyways, I'm just wondering if there are any known reasons why X-CUBE-AI should or shouldn't work in a TrustZone application. It's hard to tell if the component "support" in the latest version was on accident or if there's just a bug in the code g

I am using STM32G030K8 and driving 3 DC motors with relays in the circuit. Also I am controlling voltage of motors with MOSFET. Most of the time its working well but sometimes when I change the direction of motor with relays MCU stops working. I am using buttons for controlling motors. If relay pins were set when it happens, pins stay set and motors still working, it is becoming dangerous. Timer or GPIO interrupts stop working. 10% of times it goes hardfault_handler, %90 of times it stops working without going hardfault_handler. What causes this? and how can I solve this problem? Thank you.

Hi everyone, I am currently working on a project working on a STM32F469I-DISCO. I would like to be able to use the embedded RTC as well as the backup SRAM. I have seen on the schematic that the VBAT pin is tied up to the 3.3V. Is there a way to still supply voltage to the VBAT pin (through the 3.3V for exemple) ?Thank you.

The MotionFX Library is initialized as follows: MotionFX_getKnobs(&iKnobs); /* Modify knobs settings */ // Configure knobs with non-default values iKnobs.output_type = MFX_ENGINE_OUTPUT_ENU; iKnobs.modx  = 1; // No decimation iKnobs.ATime = 10; // kalman_settings.static_accel_time_coeff; iKnobs.FrTime = 10; // kalman_settings.dynamic_accel_time_coeff; iKnobs.LMode = 1; // Enable gyro bias calculation during static motion iKnobs.gbias_gyro_th_sc_6X = 0.0036; // Per datasheet, this is empirically determined  MotionFX_setKnobs(&iKnobs);When new data arrives, it's processed like this: MotionFX_propagate(&data_out, &imu, &delta_s); MotionFX_update(&data_out, &imu, &delta_s, NULL);Interstingly, if instead I first make the left-hand rotation, it has no significant error, but after making the right-hand rotation, a similar ~3 degree error is detected. Each time motion occurs in the direction in which the error is present, the error increa

In specific circunstances (power available, ...) I want to put the MCU in STOP2 mode. That decision is taken on a FreeRTOS task. I've tried some approaches but the MCU didn't stop at all. Is there any example available using FreeRTOS? The code I'm using (not working) is the following: /* suspend scheduler*/ vTaskSuspendAll();   /* disables Interrupt requests, interrupts will still be able to wake up the system*/ __disable_irq();   __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_DISABLE(); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WU);   HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); HAL_ResumeTick();   /* System sleeps here*/   __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WU); /* on wake up, restore system clock*/ HAL_RCC_DeInit(); SystemClock_Config();   /* check interrupts now*/ __enable_irq();   /*resume scheduler*/ xTaskResumeAll();Do you have any suggestion to change? In the final code I want it to be able to wake up when some pins c

I have STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeMonitor and STM32Cube_FW_H7 ,but they are not the same version as the required version. Some are older version and some are newer versionWhat should I do.1-Should I uninstall my already installed SW and use the "STM32H72x3xWS-material_1.0.exe" to install the correct versions? or just running "STM32H72x3xWS-material_1.0.exe" will install the cortrect versions without need to uninstall the old version?2-Should updating to new FW version affect my old SW based on old FW versions?3-Is there a migration guide between FW versions and cube verions or the migration can be done seamlessly?

Hi,I am using STM32cube IDE and trying to create project for STM32L151RCT6 MCU .Requirement is like need to create 7Khz (means 143 microsec )pulse(i.e 71.4 micro sec ON and 71.4 microsec OFF) on Timer 4 channel 1 without using interrupt. Not using PWM also, using counter method .I checked some examples , all are interrupt based examples. Please suggest me any link for reference

If I want to create C++ project from Cube configurator then after my intentions it says that it is done (picture 1). After that it says that not all the necessary firmware pacakges is downloaded (picture 2). In the end it gives me empty project with .ioc file and do nothing (picture 3). But if I try to generate code after configuring everything - it's ok. There will be code.

Hi! Since I am not a native speaker, I apologize in advance for my English. When switching on the pulsed mode strange things start to happen. Until yesterday I used int1 pad, everything worked fine, but at a certain moment it became necessary to count the ODR in real time and i activated pulsed mode for int2 pad (I am not interested in alternative counting options). I was doing this as it said in datasheet: -set the dataready_pulsed bit of the COUNTER_BDR_REG1 (0Bh) register to 1-set int2_drdy_xl bit to 1/*IIS3DWB interrupt setup register * \brief acc data-ready interrupt value */ static iis3dwb_pin_int2_route_t AccHalIIS3DWBirq2Cfg= { .drdy_xl = 1, /* Accelerometer data ready */ .drdy_temp = 0, /* Temperature data ready */ .fifo_th = 0, /* FIFO threshold reached */ .fifo_ovr = 0, /* FIFO overrun */ .fifo_full = 0, /* FIFO full */ .fifo_bdr = 0, /* FIFO Batch counter threshold reached */ .wake_up = 0, /* wake up event */ .sleep_change = 0, /* Act/Inact (or Vice-versa) status ch

Hi I have a display running in video mode over the DSI Burst Mode with attached B-LCDAD-HDMI1 hdmi adapter boart. Resolution is at 720x480.Is it possible to change the resolution to 1024x600? I see that the Stm32F7 board supports up to 720p so what configuration changes do I need to make?Kind Regards

I have SPC58EC-DISP,now I use sample code(Network Gateway Test),it's MII mode and working; then,I want to use RMII mode,I set PHY MODE = RMII,it's not working, how to do it?ps:The OSC is changed to 50MHz,and SB5 Close & SB6 Open.

Hi all.I've created an external loader for a custom STM32H743 board with external W25Q64 FLASH (MCUDEV DevEBox H743). The project works really well when I'm testing on CubeIDE. When exported to .stldr inside CubeProgrammer I can upload a 1MB file to the external FLASH, but the returned data when reading is incorrect. It always shows 0x99999999 for all the data.If I switched to another loader made by @Community member for the same board (view it here), data returned is as expected, so I'm pretty sure data has been written correctly. What could be the problem? Read operation is managed directly by CubeProgrammer and dummy cycles are configured conform the datasheet. Any Idea? Thanks in advance!
