I have a hexagon shape. I want to move (40,0) to (80,0), (0,0) to (40,0), (40,80) to (0,80), (80,80) to (40,80) and I want to move them back. What should be the condition? I gave a try but I couldn't see any move.Here is my shape;shape1.setPosition(111, 89, 80, 80); shape1.setOrigin(0.000f, 0.000f); shape1.setScale(1.000f, 1.000f); shape1.setAngle(0.000f); shape1Painter.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(122, 51, 51)); shape1.setPainter(shape1Painter); const touchgfx::AbstractShape::ShapePoint<float> shape1Points[6] = { { 80.000f, 40.000f }, { 80.000f, 80.000f }, { 40.000f, 80.000f }, { 0.000f, 40.000f }, { 0.000f, 0.000f }, { 40.000f, 0.000f } }; shape1.setShape(shape1Points);and the animation in handleTickEvent ;CWRUtil::Q5 currentX, currentY;   shape1.invalidate(); shape1.getCornerX(5) = currentX; shape1.getCornerY(5) = currentY;   if (currentX < shape1.getCornerX(1)) { shapeXChangeFactor = CWRUtil::Q5(80); } else if (currentX == shap

Posted on April 17, 2018 at 18:46I'm using FatFs on SDMMC1 configured by CubeMX (v.4.23) on a STM32F722. Everything runs perfectly fine.But when I activate DMA by enabling DMA template in FatFscreating DMA channel for SDMMC1 RX and TXenabling the DMA and SDMMC1 interruptsI can see that the code in sd_diskio.c has changed, and two IRs have been generated.But the mounting and/or reading of the SD card fails.This worked with v.4.22 (even without creating DMA channels), but now doesn't.What is missing here?#fatfs #dma

Hello all, I worked with the Nucleo-F429ZI (which includes the STM32F429ZI) at the project start. I updated my software via UART and do following steps:I connect the Nucleo-F429ZI via USB to the PC (it's the power supply too)I connect a MM232R to pin PA9 and PA10 (UART1) and GND.I connect the BOOT0 pin to 3V3I press the reset button B2I start the tool "STM32CubeProgrammer"I choose UART and my MM232R, set the baudrate to 115200 and the parity to evenI connect the MM232R load the new software and disconnect the MM232RI remove the connection of BOOT0 and 3V3I press the reset button B2The new software works!Then I designed my own PCB with the STM32F429ZI. My software works on it and I can update it with the STM32CubeIDE and the SWD connection (PA13 and PA14). Now I want to update the software via UART and the bootloader:I have two leds which blink during my hole software. If I connect BOOT0 to 3V3 and reset the mikrocontroller the leds don't blink any more. So I think the mikrocontroller i

Hi all,I'm using STLink V2 (Not STLink V2 ISOL) to program and debug a STM32F103C8 microcontroller(Development board is a low cost STM32 bluepill). Programming and debugging via SWD works like a charm, without any issue. But I was never able to get the JTAG working. I made all the pin connections according to page 12 of UM1075. The way I tried is given below.Connected all the relevant JTAG pins according to UM1075 documentation.Reserved all JTAG pins from CubeMX in Cube IDEInside "stm32f1xx_hal_msp.c" file, it was checked and verified if "__HAL_AFIO_REMAP_SWJ_ENABLE()" line is there in HAL_MspInit() function.From Project > Debug configurations,Debug Probe - ST-LINK(ST-LINK GDB Server)Interface - JTAGReset Behavior - Connect Under resetAnd that's all.When I try to debug I get the message "Failed to Start GDB server" along with"Error in initializing ST-LINK device." and "Reason: No device found on target." messages on console. But when I select SWD as debug interface, it works fine.An

I know you can with the 32 bit nucleo boards but is it possible with the STM8L152R8T6 Nucleo-64 board? My feeling is no because the SWIM protocol requires VDD, SWIO,GND and RESET pins which i cant see anywhere in the ST-link section of the STM8L152R8T6 Nucleo-64 boards schematic. Hopefully someone can tell me I'm wrong though.Thanks

Dear all: I want to use STM32CubeMx or STM32CubeIDE to generate official demo of the this board, but not find that at STM32CubeMX->New Project->Example Selector->Board. Thank you!

We have PCB assemblies built that contain STM324L7 with 1M and 2M flash memory. How can we determine the flash memory size using a JTAG connection (e.g. by reading a register value)?

I'd like to check if any pull requests break the build by automatically running headlessbuild as part of CI.Unfortunately, there's a critical flaw with how STM32CubeIDE projects are setup, which makes this impossible.The headless build depends on content in .metadata. This folder is automatically created when importing a project into STM32CubeIDE. But .metadata is also automatically added to .gitignore. It's definitely correct to ignore .metadata, since that contains a lot of user-specific content that you don't want to share among developers. But this now means that headless builds from a fresh clone don't work either.You can try this out yourself by cloning this repo and branch. Note that this project is setup for Linux, but I'm sure you can reproduce the same issue on Windows too from a new project. You'll just need to call the headless build command directly, instead of using the ci.sh script.git clone --branch issue-report https://github.com/milesfrain/stm32demo.gitAnd running:./c

I noticed that even if I create a new project using STM32CubeMX IDE for STM32MP157F-EV1 board, in the clock configuration, the MPUSS_CK is 650MHz. In Linux, I can see the CPU frequency is 650MHz only. How can I clock the CPU to 800MHz as supported by the SoC?

I placed the buttons which are made with custom container in ScrollList.I'd like to change screen by pressing each button.How should I write my code for pressing button and change screen?I uploaded the sample project. Please see the attached for your reference.Thank you.

Hello,I enter stop mode using HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode and the processor come out of this function immediately and does not wait for any external interrupt. can someone help me on this?

We're using a ST25R3916 on several projects, one of which is space constrained for the antenna. The circuit for the given antenna has been tuned up and electrically, is as good as it gets for the size.I was wondering what register settings a person can play with to maximize read range of smallish NFC-V tags for any given antenna configuration?

Hi,It seems that there is a bug where a hard fault is triggered when dragging a finger on a dynamic graph area.I have tested this behavior on an STM32F746G-DISCO as well as on a custom board with an H743.In my case, the hard fault gets only triggered if there are enough objects on the screen and when the graph is not on the start screen. I guess it depends on the memory footprint.I have increased the project heap and stack size to 4096 and Touchgfx heap size to 8192 with no changes.I cannot see where the hard fault happens as it seems to be inside the TouchGfx library.The attached code is for an STM32F746G-DISCO.To reproduce the error, click on the central button to open screen2 with the graph is. Then drag a finger on the graph.The other buttons and the custom container are not used, they are just here because the hard fault is not triggered without them.

lis2mdl_reg.c has an error in the function int32_t lis2mdl_mag_user_offset_set(stmdev_ctx_t *ctx, int16_t *val).The function incorrectly calculates the OFFSET_X_REG_H, OFFSET_Y_REG_H, and the OFFSET_Z_REG_H registers because it converts val[0] to an uint8_t before performing the calculation. I believe the function should be modified as follows:int32_t lis2mdl_mag_user_offset_set(stmdev_ctx_t *ctx, int16_t *val){ uint8_t buff[6]; int32_t ret; buff[1] = (uint8_t) (val[0] / 256U); buff[0] = (uint8_t) (val[0] - (buff[1] * 256U)); buff[3] = (uint8_t) (val[1] / 256U); buff[2] = (uint8_t) (val[1] - (buff[1] * 256U)); buff[5] = (uint8_t) (val[2] / 256U); buff[4] = (uint8_t) (val[2] - (buff[1] * 256U)); ret = lis2mdl_write_reg(ctx, LIS2MDL_OFFSET_X_REG_L, buff, 6); return ret;}

I have external flash of size 1MB. I want to explore the possibility of having encrypted code of size 500kb in external memory and run it through OTFDEC feature of STM32L562QE.From the reference manual I saw that provision of 4 different OTFDEC regions is given ( 4 different portions in external flash with 4 different crypto keys if required). My use case is I just want a single key to encrypt whole of my code thus defining a OTFDEC region of size 500kb (is it feasible ?? )The following was also provided in the manual : Granularity for the region determination is 4096 bytes. Note:Although OTFDEC does not prevent region overlapping it is not a valid programming and it should be avoided by application software. OTFDEC can decrypt incremental or wrap bursts only if they do not cross the 4096-byte aligned address boundaries.Does above statements have any impact in my use case ? how should I handle this ? Can some one guide please

I'm a beginner who's learned to program STM32 with Nucleos (GPIO, SPI, UART etc.) and want to try to control stepper motors now. I've purchased an X-NUCLEO-IHM03A1 board based on the PowerSTEP01 driver by ST to control a stepper motor. I've had a look at the example files and drivers but am completely lost. There are a number of long and detailed source files and there is no clear documentation on how to program this driver and interface it with an STM32. My question is then, are there any resources/docs to learn how to use/make a driver file to control a stepper motor? particularly for this module i'm using.
