Hello,My question is that how many interrupts could be in pending state in STM32F1 MCUs? What would happen when a interrupt is running and in the same time another interrupt with same preempt priority be fired, does the running interrupt finishes and the second one be run or the first one should be finish and the next starts? And my next question is that Assume that an interrupt is running and in this moment 2 or more interrupts with lower preempt priorities be fired. In this case two situations will occur:1. Fired interrupts have the same preempt priority: Does the sub priority is determine the priority of interrupts?2. Fired interrupts have different preempt priority: In this case does preempt priority determine the priority of interrupt execution?Best regards

Hello guys,I've implemented SBSFU along side with an USB standalone loader for my project using a STM32WB. My question is, should i implement hardware semaphores and shci_notification for CPU2 during flash erasing and writing operations on my USB external loader? I don't use BLE in this loader, but the user app will and the microcontroller CPU2 will have a running ble stack. I'm not sure how the "reset" of CPU2 works, if my userapp call for "NVIC_SYSTEM_RESET()", will CPU2 reset aswell? After reset, will CPU2 only start when my application call appe_init() or will it start automatically? I'm considering that because if CPU2 reset when microcontroller get a software reset and only runs after the call of appe_init(), i wouldn't need any hardware semaphores in my external loader, since CPU2 would be halted, right? So, should or shouldn't implement hardware semaphores and shci_notification in my USB loader?

On the project we are using LPUART1, more out of pinout convenience than low power, but STM32cubeMX 6.30 and STMCube_FW_H7 V1.9.0 miss placing the HAL_DMA handler for LPUART1 in the BDMA handler. Is there a better place to report STM32CubeMX and FW/HAL bugs?Below is my simple fix.

in software package STM32L0 1.12.1in file stm32l0xx_hal_rcc_ex.cin functionHAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef *PeriphClkInit)The RTC and LCD have their own settings, though they share the same clock. These settings are usually handled correctly, e.g./*------------------------------- RTC/LCD Configuration ------------------------*/ if ((((PeriphClkInit->PeriphClockSelection) & RCC_PERIPHCLK_RTC) == RCC_PERIPHCLK_RTC) #if defined(LCD) || (((PeriphClkInit->PeriphClockSelection) & RCC_PERIPHCLK_LCD) == RCC_PERIPHCLK_LCD) #endif /* LCD */ )but they're not correctly handled everywhere; at the end of the block quoted above, there is this initialization:__HAL_RCC_RTC_CONFIG(PeriphClkInit->RTCClockSelection);However, if the function was called to initialize the LCD and not the RTC, this is wrong, as it will disable the clock. This is what that one-line init should actually be:#if defined(LCD) if((((PeriphClkInit->PeriphClockSelection) &amp

Hi, I want to reconfigure the TX Power from transmitter to receiver. How to adjust my code to control automatic antenna tuning (AAT)? For example, I can increase the TVDD to max value which is the power supply of the tx driver, and which part of the programming code needs to be defined? Thanks,

Why would an ADC sample in 8-bit mode when DMA is used, but when used without DMA the full 12-bit conversion is retrieved?STM32F411 I am trying to set up an example project for ADC with DMA using HAL library.I am sampling a slow ramp function from 0-3.3V over 2500ms. For conventional ADC setup:When debugging the code I can see that the retrieved ADC value the full 12 bits. For ADC with DMA:When debugging I see 2 possible issues.->Firstly, the retrieved ADC value is 8-bit. The value only reaches 255 then overflows and starts at 0 again.->Secondly, the buffer array does not seem to populate in either normal or circular fashion. Only the first element is populated with this above mentioned 8-bit value. My ADC and DMA setup is as follows: static void MX_ADC1_Init(void){ ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};  hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV8; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; ha

in software package STM32L0 1.12.1in file stm32l0xx_hal_gpio.cin function void HAL_GPIO_DeInit(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx, uint32_t GPIO_Pin)The pin is deinited by setting it as input floating:/* Configure IO Direction in Input Floting Mode */ GPIOx->MODER |= (GPIO_MODER_MODE0 << (position * 2U));But on STM32L0x3 all the pins are configured as ANALOG after a reset.See also the reference manual RM0367 (Section "9.4.1 GPIO port mode register (GPIOx_MODER)").The code above should be replaced with/* Configure IO Direction as Analog Mode */ GPIOx->MODER |= (GPIO_MODER_MODE3 << (position * 2U));I'm assuming that all the devices in the L0 family have pins defaulting to ANALOG; otherwise, the code above should be tailored to the various subfamilies.

Hello.I'm finding the MTBF data of MCU STM32H7B3IIK6Q working at 60℃. The document UM2331: STM32H7 single-core safety manual not answer my question, as it is a general introduction about the reliability of STM32, but not include the detailed MTBF or MTTF data. In this situation, it is hard for the user to evaluate the MTBF. Please help on this. Thank you.

In the STM32f302R8 Reference manual, it is stated for master initialization, I need to Enable Interrupts and/or DMA in I2C_CR1:Does this mean I need to enable all the bits that is related to interrupts? Example, from bit 1 until bit 8, do I need to enable all of it? Or is it OK to just ignore it?

This question is geared towards the STM32 Online Training that STM provides on their website here: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/learning/stm32-education/stm32-online-training.htmlI have an STM32 NUCLEO-F411RE board and I wasn't sure under which category that board falls under. My initial assumption was to follow the 'STM32F7' module, but that has a Cortex-M7 core vs the Cortex-M4 core.So the big question is that does STM provide the same 'Online Training' modules for the STM32-F411RE Nucleo board? Or should I just follow the STM32F7 training since it falls under the same board 'family'?

Hi,Is it possible to zoom in on a text?I'm trying to create a scrollList with the selected element larger than the rest. Thanks!

Im following this adafruit tutorial (gpio bitbanging swd).As they are flashing an AVR chip and i want to flash an stm32f072 chip im using a different .cfg file:source [find interface/raspberrypi2-native.cfg] transport select swd   set WORKAREASIZE 0x2000   source [find target/stm32f0x.cfg]   reset_config srst_only srst_nogate   #transport select swd   adapter srst delay 100 adapter srst pulse_width 100   init targets reset halt program myfirmware.bin verify reset shutdownim using a RaspberryPi 3 model B v1.2.my stm32 chip is externaly powered.Wiring is made as follows: Once i do "sudo openocd" i get randomly 3 different errors in reading IDR: IDR 0x0000000 IDR 0xdeadbeef,cannot read IDR

Dear STM forum,So far we are using STM32F205ZF (with 768k flash) for all our devices. Because of the chip shortage, they are not available at the moment. The STM32F205ZG (with 1MB flash) seems to be a bit better available. So the question came up if there is a way to compile firmware which would run on both devices? We would like to avoid two different firmwares depending on the flash size because this would cause a support nightmare.Help is greatly appreciated!Best regards,Stefan

Hello,I am working on a project where I need to send information from an NFC reader to a tag. The idea is to use an (Arduino UNO + PN532) as an NFC reader and send the information to the ANT7-T-ST25DV04K module which will be connected to an MSP430 microcontroller. The question is if this connection would be possible for data transmission. On the other hand, I would like to know if you have examples of code in which the ANT7-T-ST25DV04K module receives data and sends it to the microcontroller. If you don't have examples, how could I do it? what registers should I use? is there any library? I would like to have more information about this.I send you a picture attached to better understand the circuit:

I'm having trouble resetting the board from linux. Not using a PMIC but discrete power supplies.I followed the app notes and errata, connecting the NRST and CORE_NRST pins with a cap then later a 0R resistor.I'm using a single 100nF cap on NRST.I can see the reset pin going down when rebooting from linux, unfortunately the MPU just freezes. It looks like it gets stuck in BootROM after reset. So far only a very long pull down (250ms+) on NRST works. This or cycling power on VDDCORE which I can't do on my current prototype... (PWR_ON wired directly to VDDCORE supply enable pin)Reset works fine from u-boot. (booting from SDMMC1, so already enabled)I remember reset working a while ago, so I'll try to reproduce it and see what is blocking.Any ideas?NRST + CORE_NRST signals: (connected together)

Hello,I want to know about the display drivers which touchgfx supported directly, so that I can decide which LCD suitable with TouchGFX like TouchGFX supports ILI9325 and OTM8009a.But I want to know complete lcd driver list. Thanks in advance.

I am working on a project and the example is written for STM32L476RG. I would like to use some other STM32 mcus for my product such as STM32L486RG, STM32L496RG, STM32L4A6RG. Could you please help me to know, would this code run on the above-mentioned mcus without making any changes to the code? Do I need to make any changes for the libraries to make this work? What all changes are to be made for the code to work. I am using almost all the peripherals.

I am using STEVAL-STLKT01V1 kit for my project. i got the sensortile solered on cradle expansion. earlier i was able to configure it using stm32cubeprogrammer using readymade applications like audioLoop, etc. but now i don't know what have i done the device is not even recognized by st-link-utility or stm32cubeprogrammer. is it possible to reset the devices.

I created a project with CubeIde for the nucleo144 board. I managed the pins for my specific configuration, I inserted files already created externally to perform functions but at the time of compilation I get this errorCannot find the specified linker script. Check the linker settings in the build configuration. Cannot find the specified linker script. Check the linker settings in the build configuration. but in the configuration I have not touched anything from the initial creation of the project and its first compilation.

Is there a sample code for the on board eeprom access on the STM32L552E evaluation board ?
