I am experiencing a vey long external interrupt latency up to 2 microseconds.Clock is internal PLL, 64MHz.void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Rising_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin){   if (GPIO_Pin == TRIGGER_Pin)      {           __disable_irq();            LL_GPIO_ResetOutputPin(S2_GPIO_Port, S2_Pin);                      __enable_irq();      }}how can I speed it up, I need it to be <1 microsecondThanks

As per the question I'm trying to run a ILI9163c based display on the NUCLEO-F446RE. I'm using this library: (https://github.com/Spirit532/ILI9163C_STM32_HAL_DMA). My questions are:The library tells you to put DMA into circular mode. However, after every SPI transmit complete event it calls HAL_SPI_DMAStop. Isn't the entire point of putting it in circular mode to leave it running constantly. I thought it might be to avoid having to manually reload the DMA_SXNDTR register but won't calling HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA to start DMA back up again reload it anyway. The interrupt handler is as follows: void HAL_SPI_TxCpltCallback(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { SPI_DMA_CNT--; if(SPI_DMA_CNT == 0) { HAL_SPI_DMAStop(&hspi1); SPI_DMA_CNT = 1; SPI_DMA_FL = 1; } }Related to the previous question what is the point of the SPI_DMA_CNT variable. It isn't incremented or decremented anywhere else in the program. I'm not sure what it's suppose to do. I would like to use the F446RE at or close to it's m

Hi, I have been able to get this sensor working, but the issue is that tap/double tap is really, really insensitive. Maybe its the plastic case of the unit, I do not know. I did the tap detection as in example:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers/blob/master/lsm6dsm_STdC/examples/lsm6dsm_tap_double.cIs there any good method to calibrate and find correct values? I can sample the accelerometer to a file etc via RTT, if it helps to use Excel etc.Any help appreciated!

So it looks like Uboot supports /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf boot menu file on STM32MP157-DK2 board? But does it support FDT entry used to specify device tree file to use? Or I have to rebuild the kernel anytime when I want to make small changes to device tree? -albertr

I have a device (base on STM32F030C8). Which use I2C to connect ESP32. we think maybe NFC is suit to it (for simple version) . So I buy a ST25DV_Discovery board to study how to import it.(It's NFC board also use I2C)Use a ST25DV_DIscovery board. Use STM32CubeIDEWhen I create a new project, I try to copy and add link lib_nfc in middlewares from ST25DV sample to my project. After file added to my project and build all. There are so many error happen.Common.h error, It's OK, I create minie from ST25DV sample. In lib_95HF_wrapper.c so many error and undefined structure inside (DeviceMode_t, TagType_t). I remove it from liblib_NDEF_config.c include nfc04a1_nfctag.h, I can't find it anywhere.Maybe i need is just a simple nfc lib . I try search nfc lib in ST. There are so many project base on some board. Where can I found some simple and board independent which communicate with ST25DV_Discovery_ANT_C5 board by I2C message?

While developing my application I ran into the problem that the state of my timers working in "One pulse mode" (configured used STM32CubeMX with HAL libraries) where getting locked in the "HAL_TIM_STATE_BUSY" state after the "HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback" was executed. Trying to start the timer(s) again to generate a pulse once again didn't work anymore because the "HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT" returns "HAL_ERROR". I was able to solve this by removing the check and setting of the state as shownin the screenshot in attachment. Is this a known issue and is there a better/correct way to solve this? Thanks in advance.

I have BL654 as a tag. When reading it from the ST-25 Android app it receives 992 as mentioned below. Whereas the write data size in the tag is only 14 bytes. Hello! I already seen the post where it says that version 1.1.0 solves this problem. I'm using version 1.2.0 and booleans still not appear. Converting them to uint8_t obviously works but I read that this thing was fixed so maybe I'm missing something.Thank you all!Mirco

Hi, I've been facing some issue using HAL_UART_TRANSMIT. The thing is that I want to send a message when I press a button. My idea is to catch the interrupt of the button and setting a flag, then in main sending the message detecting the flag. The problem is that when the flag is detected in the main and the message is sent I can see in the logic analyzer how it has been split into 2 parts. But if I introduce the exact same code in the interruption callback it works perfectly. I have tried putting the code in the Main just before the loop and I always get the same result everywhere in main.c it only works okay in the stm32fxx_it.c file. Where stm32cubeIde generates the interruption callbacks. This is the code I use to send:uint8_t converted2[100] = {0b01011011, 0b01011011, 0b01011011, 0b01011011, 0b01000001, 0b01011011};HAL_StatusTypeDef statuss;statuss = HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, converted2, 6, 20);How can I solve that?Good transmission from callback: Bad Transmission from mai

Is st mc sdk support measure the motor parameter only use the board, not use STMotorProfiler? It is useful to driver different motor when the foc board used as a general driver product.

I have a STEVALSTWINK1TB board which I am trying to connect to Unico so that I can program the ml core in the ISM 330DHC chip. However, I cannot find the option for ISM330DHC chip on UNICO and the closest I can find is ISM330DHCX, but when I try to connect to it, an error message appears saying that the board does not respond. Is STEVALSTWINK1TB compatible with UNICO? If so, how should I go about connecting it to UNICO?

I can't install crontab with apt-get installapt-get install cron Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package cronWhat do you suggest?

Hi,I am running Capture Mode at TIM2 channel 1. My CubeMx configuration below. I am getting CCR1 value correctly but i checked at debugger mode, CCR2 value is always 0. Thus i can't measure duty. What's the problem ?

..

So I have a .ucf file which I would like to upload to the ISM330DHC sensor inside the STEVALSTWINK1TB board. I am trying to use the ST BLE APP to do this, but when I connect my board to the ST BLE APP it does not show any of the accelerometer and gyroscope readings. I flashed the sample predictive maintenance program in order to establish this BT connection. Is what I am trying to accomplish possible? If so how should I do it?

Dear sir, We have followed STEVAL-VP319X1B development board schematic for converting 110V/230V AC to 5V DC. In one of board we found that inrush current limiting resistor is burn out. We have followed same part number for resistor which is in development kit BOM. Can you suggest how we can increase soft start time.ThanksKadam

Hi,I'm trying to generate a serial data pattern in STM32H753 for WS2812B LED chip. I did it before with STM32F2, as the TIM, GPIO & DMA2 are within the same data bus matrix, i'm able to use TIM module events as a trigger event for DMA, and start moving data from RAM to GPIO.In STM32H753, TIM modules are inside D2 domain, GPIOs are within D3 domain, if i gonna move data to GPIOs, data must be in SRAM4 and handled by BDMA.Is it possible to use TIM module in D2 domain to trigger BDMA, that i can move data from SRAM4 to GPIO for generating the serial data pattern? Many thanks

Hello,We have custom board with the STM32H7A3 and when i configure the HSI i always get error at. it return HAL_TIMEOUT    /* Wait till PLL is ready */    while(__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG(RCC_FLAG_PLLRDY) == 0U)    {     if((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart ) > PLL_TIMEOUT_VALUE)     {      return HAL_TIMEOUT;     }    }I tried with the STM32H7B3 discovery board and its fine when i use the HSI with same configuration.Attached you can see screen of my clock configuration.

Hi.I use a custom board for my application. The MCU is STM32F746 and my IDE is STM32cubeide. My board has a SD card with SDIO connection and I use RTOS in my application. After power on , mounting and opening are OK but when I reject SD card and insert it again, after correct mounting "F_OPEN" function return "FR_NOT_ENABLED" error. After rejecting of SD card, unmount it. All of this code is in one thread. My Mounting code is: FATFS_LinkDriver(&SD_Driver,SDPath); HAL_Delay(200); res = f_mount(&SDFatFS, (TCHAR const*)SDPath, 1); if (res == FR_OK) { SD_CARD_Mount_Status = 1; RS485_Write_Read(RS485_Write); printf("Mount OK\n\r"); RS485_Write_Read(RS485_Read); } else { SD_CARD_Mount_Status = 0; RS485_Write_Read(RS485_Write); printf("Mount Failed = %u\n\r",res); RS485_Write_Read(RS485_Read); }My Unmounting code is: res = f_mount(NULL, (TCHAR const*)SDPath, 1); HAL_Delay(200); FATFS_UnLinkDriver(SDPath); SD_CARD_Mount_Status = 0; RS4

The solution was to hard reset the SPI module using RCC_APB1RSTR register.HAL includes macros for this:__HAL_RCC_SPI2_FORCE_RESET(); __HAL_RCC_SPI2_RELEASE_RESET();With these it completely resets and can be initialized again!I'm using SPI slave mode. STM32F411. Tried with a 32F103CB and does the same thing.Everything works fine if the communication is perfect, but I need to be able to recover from errors that could appear, ex. missing a clock pulse or some random noise. When a certain time passes, if the SPI module is still busy, it means that it missed some clock pulses and it's still waiting for the rest. This condition requires resetting the spi shift register, so the next frame is read correctly.I checked the errata sheet, states that the BSY flag can get stuck in high state and suggests to use RXNE instead. From 1st to 7th clock pulses the only flag that changes is BSY, nothing else changes in SR, CR1 and CR2 registers. So that's the only way I have to know if the the SPI lost clocks

STM32L452 ADC1 single-mode works with DMA1. ADC results are higher than the actual Voltage by around 25%. Any possible directions?

I was able to interface "is42s16400j-7tl" (which comes in the discovery board) successfully but not "is42s16400j-6tl".The problem is I get random values while reading the data from SDRAM even though serial data is written from the starting address. Is "is42s16400j-6tl" not supported by the STM32F4 controller?I have attached the expected result and actual result with this thread.

Hello,This is my first attempt on using the TouchGFX library, so I'm still learning how everything works. I've a custom board running on a STM32G473CBU6 with a 1.54" ST7789V LCD interfaced through SPI.I know the LCD driver is working because I can run a test without using TouchGFX library and I get expected results, just basic functions like drawing rect, circ, filling with colours etc they all work.I've implemented a simple screen on ToughGFX Designer that is just a simple Text element with a colour background, this excerpt is from screenViewBase.cppscreenViewBase::screenViewBase() {   __background.setPosition(0, 0, 240, 240); __background.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFromRGB(0, 0, 255));   textAreaVoltage.setXY(46, 59); textAreaVoltage.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFromRGB(0, 255, 0)); textAreaVoltage.setLinespacing(0); textAreaVoltage.setTypedText(touchgfx::TypedText(T_RESOURCEIDVOLTAGE));   add(__background); add(textAreaVoltage); }The simulator show
