follow youtube STM32 USB training - 11.2 USB MSC host labs to try a board with STM32F723vct6. set as USB Host_Only on HSstatic void USBH_UserProcess (USBH_HandleTypeDef *phost, uint8_t id){ /* USER CODE BEGIN CALL_BACK_1 */ switch(id) { case HOST_USER_SELECT_CONFIGURATION: break; case HOST_USER_DISCONNECTION: Appli_state = APPLICATION_DISCONNECT; break; case HOST_USER_CLASS_ACTIVE: Appli_state = APPLICATION_READY; break; case HOST_USER_CONNECTION: Appli_state = APPLICATION_START; //---------------zz if (f_mount (&USBH_fatfs, USBHPath, 0) != FR_OK ) {//     Display_Line8x6 (1, 0, "fmout fail", 15,nH_lit); }else {//     Display_Line8x6 (1, 0, "fmout rdy", 15,nH_lit);// }f_mout can detect thumb drive plug in/plug out but never go to Appli_state == APPLICATION_READYbut can be OK If try on STM32F723E-DISCO board, can create files on thumb drive

Has ST done any research into the level of vibration these sensors can safely withstand? I'd like to use these on an application which experiences intermittently high vibration (up to 15m/s^2, mostly parallel to the sensor measurement direction). Accurate measurement during periods of vibration is not important (but the sensors failing obviously is)Would the models which include a lens (VL53L1x, VL53L5x) be less tolerant to vibration than those without?

I want to measure duty cycle and frequency with STM32F407-Disc.I know to measure high frequency PPWM with input capture mode.STM32F407 allow to measure 1.5KHz frequency pwm .But I want to learn how can I measure dutycycle and frequency of 1 HZ pwm .Or lower frequency.

In STMCube programmer I don't see the serial number, and cliccking on Connect I don't see any message on log box.The firmware seems to be updated, and driver properly installed! What can I do ?

Posted on June 11, 2018 at 20:22Hi,In the Advanced Parameters of the ETH configuration, there is only the LAN8742A external PHY configuration. Is it possible to use an other external PHY (like 8720A) using CubeMX?I tried with the user PHY, but I don't know where I can find the configs for the PHY 8720A. I tried the datasheet, but there's nothing like Read TimeOut or Write TimeOut.Did anyone already created a project with PHY 8720A on CubeMx and can tell me about the configs or where I can find them?Thank you very much.#ethernet-stm32f7 #cubemx-4.25 #phy-8720a #external-phy #ethernet-phy

Obviously Read Protection Level 2 is the most secure in protecting IP on the G series MCUs, but in the worst case scenario it could involve unsoldering and replacing the IC. Do you use Level 2 or is Level 1 secure enough for most scenarios ?

i'm using STM32F730 and trying to use CAN in LOOPBACK mode.i'm using HAL_CAN for programming and STM32MXcube for configuration purpose. The transmission is successful (TXOK0=1 and RQCP0=1) but i'm unable to observe any activity in receiver FIFO. i have attached my code.i have not configured any filters till now, as i'dont want to use them. is it necessary to configure them for receiver purpose. plz guide me where i'm wrong. is there any problem with my bit timing. i have used 120ohm resistor at transreciever end. if i switch to normal mode it results in TXOK0=0 and TERR0=1 and acknowledgement error code (03). plz guide me, i'm stuck here with no breakthrough.

Right now I am having to manually alter the code after each generateI would expect it here But all I see is What am I missing? Many thanks,Thomas

Hello,I am working on Nucleo-h745ziq board ,I have to create project for Azure Rtos .So how I can create project for it which parameter i have to configure in stm32cubeide.Can you help me?

this is my basic flow

I am checking for end of transmission like this, while(hcdc->TxState == 1). But it seems to blow right past this although the transmission hasn't ended. I am checking the speed with the core cycle counter and am getting ridiculously fast speeds. But if I measure a 500000 for loop, I get what I suspect to be about the time. Any one have any clues?

I came from TM4C background. TM4C has a library file that lists each peripheral and the function calls for that peripheral. I'm going to work on STM32F4 and looking for a similar library. Can any point to a pdf file somewhere in the net.

For PH 0 & PWM 1, is the current OUT1 -> OUT2 correct?I think the picture below is an act for the above case. If my guess is wrong, how do I rotate the motor in the reverse direction?

I am struggling on SPI Master receive on STM32F407-disco board.I plan to interface to the microphone using SPI2 master receive.I setup the DMA but I always get to HAL_SPI_ErrorCallback().I setup the same setup using Nucleo-G474 but it can go to HAL_SPI_RxCpltCallback().I used the same codes for both G474 and F407.HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA(&hspi2, receive_data, 5);   void HAL_SPI_RxCpltCallback(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { printf("SPI Received! \n"); }   void HAL_SPI_ErrorCallback(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { printf("TRANSFER_ERROR! \n"); }I am using CubeMX to setup F407 as shown below.F407 parameter setting F407 DMA setting I used the same on G474 as shown below.G474 parameter setting G474 DMA setting Basically everything is almost the same. When debug, I checked the before and after HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA() of both SPI and DMA register data as shown below.G474 DMA1 before HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA() G474 DMA1 after HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA() G474 SPI2 before HAL_S

Hi. Where can I find the schematic of the STM32F429I-DISC1 development board. I have not found it in any document provided by ST.Thanks.

Hello! I'm trying to interface with a sensor that requires a repeated start condition.Datasheet: https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/348/ROHM_S_A0005047448_1-2562246.pdfI have other sensors on my I2C bus that I can communicate with. I also get '1' on HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1, 0x5B, 3, 5);I tried using HAL_I2C_Mem_Read, as it's my understanding that this function does a repeated start, but it doesn't seem to work with the sensor (this function works with 3 other sensors on my bus).I'm assuming the implementation of HAL_I2C_Mem_Read doesn't meet my requirements. The sensor I'm interfacing requires: [ST][SLAVE ADDR][W/0][ACK][READ REG][ACK][ST][SLAVE ADDR][R/1][ACK][DATA][NACK][SP]What am I getting wrong here?Using STM32WB, with CubeIDE.Thank you!!! :)

Hi,Please advise how to add middleware in "https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32u5-classic-coremw-apps" to stm32cubeide. After that, the new middleware will display in the stm32cubeide's Middleware. Thanks,QiZhang

Hello to all,I would like to know what considerations and calculations i have to do to know the frequency shift as a consequence of the metal presence near the NFC/RFID antenna tag and also it is dependent of metal type and size of the tag. Thank you!

Hello and all good wishes for the new year! While RM0433 has 4 bits reserved for FLASH_ACR_LATENCY, stm32h743xx.h only defined#define FLASH_ACR_LATENCY_Msk               (0x7U << FLASH_ACR_LATENCY_Pos)What counts? Is bit3 in FLASH_ACR evaluated by the STM32H743 or not?

Several MCU are described with the label 'value line' but I could not find an explanation what that mean. I assume it is related to a system architecture, right?

- Create the directory for the project (C:\Project)- Create a New STM32 project- Select the processor and package- Setup STM32 project > Enter project name, for location enter project directory, select language and project type STM32Cube- Code Generator options: Copy only necessary library filesWhen I start the project generation I get a popup message "C:\: Access is denied".Using the "Project > Generate Code" option gives me the same message. If I follow the same procedure and use the default workspace directory the project gets created successfully. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this problem would be appreciated.ThanksLee
