Hi,I am working on a project that requires three SensorTiles (STEVAL-STLKT01V1). I am using Raspberry Pi 3B but I am open to use a different device if needed. I am a newbie and need guidance to learn how to do it. Where can I find instructions/documentation to work with multiple SensorTiles connected via bluetooth to the data receiver (RPi)?

Hello, I read the Application note AN4602 about the start-up procedure of the LIS3MDL. When I change the mode of the sensor, the DRDY signal remains low and the sensor does not answer to the following I2C transactions.Without changing the mode of the sensor, I am still able to read the measurement done during the start-up procedure and communicate with I2C with the sensor.Does anyone had the same issue or has any suggestion?

Hello,I'm trying to get some audio samples with 24 bit resolution from the SAI (RX, connected to an external ADC) into SRAM via DMA.When DMA data sizes / alignments are set to WORD (32bit) for peripheral and memory everything works fine.To save some SRAM (and later on bandwidth) I tried to get only the 3 bytes (24 bits) from the SAI output into SRAM, so I set the DMA data sizes / alignments to BYTE.Now the data in SRAM is crap... (looks like some bytes from somewhere within the ADC data).The F7 ref manual (RM0410) made me think that the DMA is smart enough to get data bytewise from the SAI FIFO, although the SAI writes only 3 bytes per sample to the FIFO.My questions are:1) Is it possible to get only the 3 bytes via DMA into SRAM?2) If yes, then how?

Hi, I have been working on STM32 G474RE Nucleo Board and I need to configure HRTIM for generating PWM signals. Is there any documentation or user manual available related to the HAL functions which are implemented for HRTIM? Thanks in advance.

Hello!I'm trying to set up the output compare channels of TIM3 of an STM32F103RB MCU. For now I only enabled channel 1, but later I'll need CH2 and CH3 as well. When CH1 triggers, the TIM3->SR register gets the value of 0x0000001f, i have looked at it in the dedugger. The other channels are not even set up, so their interrupts should be disabled right?So it enters the TIM3_IRQHandler function and it executes the ISR of all the channels. Not only that, but it doesn't even reset the CCxIF bits when I tell it to. It just goes over the line and does nothing, according to the debugger, the TIM3->SR value remains unchanged.Also, the TIM3->SR gets the value 0x0000001f when the counter enable CEN bit is set, and when I modify the prescaler or enable the CC1IE bit.Have I misunderstood something about interrupt operation? What could be the problem? Why do all interrupt channel flags set at once? Could you provide some example as to how to properly setup output compare interrupts? Any he

Hi everyone, I have been trying to debug my project, the moment I select the debug option, the window appears which shows the message "No source available for main() at ---- " What does this mean? How to reolve this issue? Looking forward to the help. Thanks in advance. BR

Hi,Would you please help me to choose a STM32 microcontroller which must have 6 number of ADCs and must be capable of generating PWM signals with deadtime. Thanks in advance.BR

I am attempting to drive some I2C 5.0v / 3.3v peripherals via the Sparkfun Arduino Qwiic Shield connected to an STM32H7451-DISCO.I can't seem to raise the devices on the I2C bus despite being able to communicate with the audio codec and LCD which are on the same bus. I've tried all the usual tricks, shifting and not shifting the address, and also simply polling everything on the bus in sequence.Am I making a wrong assumption that the levels will be ok with 3.3v coming from the DISCO, the Qwiic Shield being 5.0v / 3.3v and the devices being 5.0v / 3.3v compatible? Or should that be ok?

Hello, I was wondering if the FW compiled for STM32L476RC could be safety flashed in STM32L476RE which is the same core but with a larger size of flash.

Hi,I am developing an application on SPC58EC that uses the serial with DMA for reading.I'd like to know if there is a way to know and get the position where it's writing in the buffer. I mean something like the corresponding "__HAL_DMA_GET_COUNTER(...)" or to the "...->CNDTR" register of the STM32.I already use the receive callback that trigger at the end, but it's not enough for my purpose.Thanks,Rob

Hello geeks..Hope all are doing well I'm using multi channel ADC with STM32WB having DMA activated My issue is, every time when i perform the power ON reset, at the same time the channel sequence getting change! It means, the conversion buffer in HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback function sequence is getting changeI have verified the same thing manually by connecting the 3.3V & GND at the particular channelsFor example, when i connect the 3.3v at PC4 then the allocated buffer variable shows 4096 samples. However when i do the power on reset then some different buffer shows the value 4096I have activated the 6 channels here with DMA I have shared ADC initialization code snippet here Can any one help me here ?All suggestions & comments welcome Thanks  /** * @brief ADC1 Initialization Function * @param None * @retval None */ int32_t BSP_ADC1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = { 0 }

Hey.. there I hope all are doing well I have just upgraded my Ubuntu desktop version from 18.0 to 20.04Right now, I'm playing with STM32MP1 and that's how to flash the new image i have downloaded the STM32Cube programmer Linux version 2.8.0After successfully downloading when i try to run the programmer from the search bar then it's unable to run When i try to run from the command line then, at the same time I'm getting following JRE errors Can any one leads me the right solution?All suggestions and comments welcome :)Many Thanks ./STM32CubeProgrammerLauncher /home/mahendra/STMicroelectronics/STM32Cube/STM32CubeProgrammer/bin chdir /home/mahendra/STMicroelectronics/STM32Cube/STM32CubeProgrammer/bin/. current dir /home/mahendra/STMicroelectronics/STM32Cube/STM32CubeProgrammer/bin   (java:10912): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 16:49:55.369: gdk_x11_display_set_window_scale: assertion 'GDK_IS_X11_DISPLAY (display)' failed # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGS

Hi. I want to use HMC5833L for my project but I couldn't find any library to be used as a reference. Can someone briefly explain what are the steps needed to read data from the sensor? I have a little piece of code below but it doesn't work.HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c1, GY271_ADDR, 0x10, 1, &check, 1, 1000); if (check == 'H') { sprintf(data, "OK\r\n"); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t *) data, sizeof(data), 100); memset(data, '\0', sizeof(data)); } The value that I get for check is 8.

Hello experts,I am in purpose of developing driver of the peripheral CRYP1 with MDMA on STM32MP157C-DK2 board.I refer to STM32MP157 advanced Arm®-based 32-bit MPUs - Reference manual(RM0436),firstly in page 1160, CRYP1 is AHB5 source, and two stream are supported to MDMA,and at page 2025, CRYP_DIN address must be fixed. However according to description of MDMA address update configure register(MDMA_CxTCR) at page 1181, configuring DINC and SINC , address pointer fix is forbidden when AHB bus setted.In addition, setting DBUS and SBUS in MDMA_CxTBR, cannot be writen even eEN bit is 0.I wonder how CRYP1 can be implemented with MDMA.
