Hello there, I am newbie to PCB design and I am going to use TDA7575B. Here I have an input from a mobile which have two wires. I have few question regarding its design:Can I joint In1+ to In2+, In1- to In2- ? then those joints will be connected to signal from phoneSecondly, CD_OUT, V, MUTE, ST-BY/HE pins connected where as its just a simple design.On Pin 17, 17ohm setting is written, what's its purpose?

Hello everyone!I'm working on a TouchGFX project on an STM32F429i discovery boardWhen creating project automatically, the default clock source selected in my project is HSE clock source with HCLK frequency of 168Mhz, the program works fine. But when I change the HCLK frequency to 180 Mhz nothing appears on the LCD.What do I need to do next? Please give me some advice!Thanks everyone!

Dear all,I am quite new to the STM32-verse but need to work on a project using an STM32L0 (if possible the L081KZ) to count pulses. The pulses are generated by a clock (~2Mhz) and a gate / AND with an other signal. So there are some pulses with 2Mhz and then a long time nothing and again some pulses… I need to count how many of these short pulses there are per time interval. Because of power constrains I would like to use 1Mhz or less as clock and later implement the sleep-mode.Therefore I wanted to use two timers:- the LPTIM with an external oscillator to generate the time interval (and later to wake up the MCU)- a TIM to count the pulses(or vice versa)I tried a bit and found that I cant count pulses with a frequency higher than ~0.5 of the system clock. In the AN47776 “generalpurpose-timer-cookbook? I found something regarding this and on page 21 a disconcerting part that I must use a prescaler with the ETR (mode 2) input to count frequencies higher than the clock…This is not feasib

I need ModalWindow functionality where clicks outside it are forbidden. In my case my window is a container, how can I prevent clicks outside it?Seems easy but doesn't work for me. I tried make empty boxes and empty containers size of screen and set them untouchable and visible. However I still can click content under them.

Hello,I try to use the USB Device of STM32F078RB as a HID FS.I don't have external quartz, I use HSI48.I've configured CubeIDE properly (I guess) : clock & USB_Device.But the USB doesn't want to work, it's not recognized by the PC.I already work with the STM32F103 and it was perfect, but not with F078.Any idea?Thanks for our help.Regards,laurent

LL Code generated by the CubeMX:ADC_InitStruct.Resolution = LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; ADC_InitStruct.LowPowerMode = LL_ADC_LP_MODE_NONE; LL_ADC_Init(ADC3, &ADC_InitStruct);The define "LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B" should be value "0" (as per ADC3 datasheet).However it seems to use the ADC12 define which results in value "2":/** @defgroup ADC_LL_EC_RESOLUTION ADC instance - Resolution * @{ */ #define LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_16B (0x00000000UL) /*!< ADC resolution 16 bits */ #define LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_14B ( ADC_CFGR_RES_0) /*!< ADC resolution 12 bits */ #define LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B ( ADC_CFGR_RES_1 ) /*!< ADC resolution 12 bits */ #define LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_10B ( ADC_CFGR_RES_1 | ADC_CFGR_RES_0) /*!< ADC resolution 10 bits */

Hello,neither in a STM32L0/L4/U5 datasheet I find electrical specifications for the LPTIM unit.At least the maximium external frequency needs to be specified.Regards

We are trying build a LoRa based vibration sensor node. We are using Murata's 1SJ open MCU based LoRa model, having inbuilt STM32L072 controller. We wanted to ensure the suitability of the inbuilt MCU for vibration measurement and analysis. We wanted to do FFT transformation of the vibration data with help of the DSP library provided with CMSIS. We also intend to use  X-CUBE-DSPDEMO cube expansion package for the same. Does STM32L0 series controllers are capable of taking such workloads or should I go for an external MCU (say with Cortex-M4 core)?

I use counting on TIM15 and now need change to 14 , but seems here external pulses counting dont work. FYI STM32F030Is any setup for 14 possible?

Hello.I developed my own board based on A-DK1 board using STM32MP157CAC and MicroSD, PMIC, Ethernet and DDR periphery. When I connect my plate to the usb with sd-card (st-link 2.1) I always receive the message:PANIC at PC : 0x2fff2d17Exception mode=0x00000016 at: 0x2fff2d17Only these 2 strings.My power and clock schematics exactly the same as -dk1 board.I have only one difference. There is a STM32MP157AAC on the dk-1 and I use STM32MP157CAC...I have one sd-card for the both boards. My MPU just doesn't wake up and I don't understand what should I doing

Hi everyone First time i read the nand ID with fmc it was all good.It was 0x2c 0xF1 0x80 that the micron told.But some times it couldnt read the id and it was all 0xff.Now when i read the id, i get two different ids.first ox2c 0x1 0x2 0x3 and sometimes 0xAc 0x80 0x81 0x82What am i doing wrong?I changed frequency from 240 mhz to 80 mhz and changed the timings but that was not the matter.

Hi, NUCLEO-G431RB + X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1MCWB 5.Y.3 + STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0Maxon motor combination: 200142 + 166935 + 673026BLDC motors are supposed to be "silent" however this doesn't seem to be the case when I attempt to drive the motor with the combination above. I have noticed the amplitude of the sound increases as more torque is requested, I have then tried changing the torque PIDs and they seem to make a difference but not completely solve the issue. PID tuning helped to reduce noise from very loud to loud. The motor itself is fine! I have used the Maxon BLDC controller and it is completely silent with that. Thanks in advanceManpreet Singh

Is there a similar guide to this: How to create project for STM32H7 with Ethernet and LwIP stack working, but instead using Azure RTOS?I know there are code examples in CubeMX but I would prefer a simple step-by-step guide including the CubeMX configurations

Hi everyone!I have found that the System Memory (Boot ROM) is always mapped to 0x0000_0000 on the STM32L471RET6 that I'm developing on. The Flash Memory is mapped to 0x0800_0000 as expected but as soon as interrupts are triggered they jump to 0x1FFFF_xxxx.To prevent this SCB_VTOR must be set to 0x0800_0000 by defining USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS so that code in system_stm32l4xx.c:SystemInit() is compiled in.As far as I can tell there are two settings in the Reference Manual that can affect this. The BFB2 bit in User Options and the SYSCFG_MEMRMP:MEM_MODE[2:0] register.I have checked and SYSCFG_MEMRMP = 0x0000_0000 and @0x1FFFF_7800 = 0xFFEF_F8AA and FLASH_OPTR = 0xFFEF_F8AA so no surprises there.Can anyone confirm that this is indeed a bug? Did I miss something?Thanks in advance,Pieterhttps://piconomix.comP.S. I checked and the STM32L476 on the NUCLEO-L476RG does not exhibit this problem.

I converted project from C to C++ with right click on project-> Convert to C++. The problem occurs when I generate the code in graphic configurator . It creates main.c file. Which is also loaded to controller if I run it. How to solve this problem?

While looking at the rcc registers, you can see the ICSCR register on the debug screen, but when I write on the program, I encounter an error, I wonder what is the reason.

I want to implement the GPIO unit in the SPC560P50L5 microcontroller with the SPC5STUDIO IDE. Please advise me how to configure the SIUL unit and registers? Or give me an example of SIUL unit setting up in the SPC560P50L5 microcontroller.(I actually want to run the SIUL unit as a registry in the SPC5STUDIO IDE)

I am coming at the cubeIDE as a newbie AND as a hardware guy. With that said can someone tell me why when I am on a function / header file / or even a #define that SOMETIMES when I hit the F3 on the keyboard I do not jump to the corresponding definition? I realize it's a simple question (am coming from a Code Composer Studio background and it always seems to jump to the link).....I am guessing it could be I don't have something set up correctly in cubeIDE?? For instance I downloaded the BLE_p2pServer project.....Within this I go to the SystemClock_Config function where they call the following...__HAL_RCC_LSEDRIVE_CONFIG. If I place my cursor there and hit F3 nothing happens BUT I have a similar project that I am working in with an identical call and when I hit F3 with cursor on function I jump right to the file...I downloaded and installed this from github....The intereseting thing is if I right click on properties of this project I don't have options for C/C++ Build.ThanksSteve

my goal is to use this board in [-40°C +85°C] climatic chamber.Regards:)Oliver

Hello I am very new to c programming and embedded design. I know there is a right way to do what I am trying to accomplish. I seem to be doing it the wrong way even though my code still "works" I am getting warnings on a couple lines of code. Line 51 and 53 of this code snippet. the warning is "pointer targets in passing argument 1 of 'SSD1306_Puts' differ in signedness [-Wpointer-sign] I can't include all my code because it is saying my post is too long so I have tried to include all the relevant information. I/* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */   /* Buffers used to display Time and Date */ uint8_t aShowTime[50] = {0}; uint8_t aShowDate[50] = {0};             /** * @brief Display the current time and date. * @param showtime : pointer to buffer * @param showdate : pointer to buffer * @retval None */ static void RTC_CalendarUpdate(uint8_t *showtime, uint8_t *showdate) {   RTC_DateTypeDef sdatestructureget; RTC_TimeTypeDef stimestructureget;

Hi all,I got a strange issue. I'd like to use USART3 or UART5 on my STM32F446 chip. We have the chip on a pcb, so I am not talking about the nucleo board. The issue is when I do the system_clock_config(), the listed uarts does not work. void init() { // Loop forever on error such that the error can be diagnosed with a debugger. auto loop_forever = []() { while (true) {} };   if (HAL_Init() != HAL_OK) { loop_forever(); } if (system_clock_config() != HAL_OK) { loop_forever(); } gpio_config(); }auto system_clock_config() { RCC_ClkInitTypeDef rcc_clk_init {}; RCC_OscInitTypeDef rcc_osc_init {};   /* Enable Power Control clock */ __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE();   /* Max frequency of the chip is 168MHz (voltage scale 1, normal mode) * or 180Mhz (voltage scale 1, overdrive mode) * Lower power consumption and heat can be achieved if the internal voltage regulator * is set to a lower level. * With a scale factor of 3, the lowest voltage across the two ceramic condensato

I do void Screen1View::updateAsciiInView(char* CwChar){ // add to txtbuffer Unicode::strncpy(textAreaAsciiBuffer, CwChar, 1); textAreaAscii.invalidate();}and that works fine ...my char i s displayed in the first position.But i need to add it to the end so need something likevoid Screen1View::updateAsciiInView(char* CwChar){ get the current textbuffer add to the end of the buffer Unicode::strncpy(textAreaAsciiBuffer, buffer, buffer length); textAreaAscii.invalidate();}But how to do that ...THANKS ;o)Hjalmar

The code after the LAN speed auto detection is this :line 443 @stm32f4xx_hal_eth.c   if((phyreg & PHY_SPEED_STATUS) == PHY_SPEED_STATUS)   {     /* Set Ethernet speed to 10M following the auto-negotiation */   (heth->Init).Speed = ETH_SPEED_10M;  }  else  {     /* Set Ethernet speed to 100M following the auto-negotiation */   (heth->Init).Speed = ETH_SPEED_100M;  }I think that the speed selection is inverted, I reverse the values and the interface start working

I am trying to transmit through SPI to a MAX7219 chip on my STM32F412G-Discovery board. The system clock is running at 100 MHz. I am using a level shifter to handle the 3.3V -> 5V voltage changing. I have used this IC on an arduino so I do know it works. I am trying to transmit through HAL_SPI_Transmit and manually controlling the CS line through GPIO.I am transmitting SPI with this code:HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_RESET); uint16_t spiData = 0x0C00; HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, &spiData, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); while (HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi1) != HAL_SPI_STATE_READY);     spiData = 0x0C01; HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, &spiData, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); while (HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi1) != HAL_SPI_STATE_READY);     spiData = 0x0900; HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, &spiData, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); while (HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi1) != HAL_SPI_STATE_READY);     spiData = 0x0303; HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, &spiData, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY)
