I receive the following error trying to start the project: Error Downloading the following files: stm32cube_fw_u5_v102.zip (Target directory already exists). The zip file is in fact there. But I can't proceed any further.

When starting my DynamicGraph (wrap and override) in simulation, I get these weird progress bar artifacts. As you can see in the following gif, once the wrap-around is done, the artifact disappears.https://i.imgur.com/wWQHgpX.gifAny idea what could do this?Information- TouchGFX version: 4.16.0

In the MCUFInder application, I can filter on the CAN bus, but it doesn't get the MCUs having a FDCAN controller. Is there a way to get only the ones having FDCAN ?Example : if you check one CAN controller, you don't get the STM32G0B1 who has FDCAN.I wish I could have these controllers only

I'm using the STM32F469I-DISCO board with TouchGFX. In portrait mode, I set the swipe threshold to 400 because I want the user to swipe almost all the way across the screen to switch pages. When I swipe slowly, it seems to work. However, a fast swipe changes pages with a swipe distance of only 1/2" or so. Is there a way to not make this speed-dependent? Right now, it is very easy to accidentally change pages. I want the page change to be very intentional.

Hello everyone,I'm currently developing a project using Touchgfx on a custom board with a STM32F469II and a 1024x600 screen on RGB565 format. I'm also using both an external SDRAM and Flash and the DMA2D is activated.Recently, I've been having an issue where a Hard Fault occurs when performing some screen transitions. The error always happens, as an example, when performing 2 up sliding transition followed by a left of right slide transition. It can also happens randomly when performing any screen transition (including "none" transition) at any time during the process. Disabling DMA2D does not fix the issue. When entering the Hard Fault handler, the fault analyzer gives us the following flags:So, by looking at the flags, I believe that this was a Bus Fault which transformed into a Hard Fault although it does not mention if the data access is precise or not. The address stored in BFAR seems to not have been updated and does not help to locate the fault's origin. The SP register points to

Hi,We are working for obsolesce management project for our existing medical project. In this we are using VN820-E (Pentawatt -5 pin Package from ST ) IC to driver the load.Let us want to know part availability status ,EOL and stock available details

The MCU stops when the program reaches this line (FLASH->CR |= FLASH_CR_OBL_LAUNCH;) in the function below.The option bytes I want to write are at the moment still unchanged to the delivery state. Later they will be changed to RDP Level 1.void Optionbytes_Config(void) { Flash_Unlock(); Optionbytes_Unlock(); FLASH->OPTR = 0xFFFFFEAA;   while((FLASH ->SR & FLASH_SR_BSY1) == FLASH_SR_BSY1);   FLASH->CR |= FLASH_CR_OPTSTRT;   while((FLASH ->SR & FLASH_SR_BSY1) == FLASH_SR_BSY1);   FLASH->CR &= ~FLASH_CR_OPTSTRT;   FLASH->CR |= FLASH_CR_OBL_LAUNCH;   while((FLASH ->SR & FLASH_SR_BSY1) == FLASH_SR_BSY1);   FLASH->CR |= FLASH_CR_LOCK; FLASH->CR |= FLASH_CR_OPTLOCK; }Thank you for your help.

There is too much uncertainty ? Would be possible to use this measurements to evaluate mechanical vibration according to ISO10816-3 ?

AFAIK the IIS2DH has no anlog anti aliasing filter. So will aliasing occure if I use low ODR settings and the input signal is frequency is higher than ODR/2? Because in our test we are getting quiten often spikes in the signal output signal. And if this is the case we could only crank up the sampling rate?

I use the register settings from the documentation:1. Write 80h to FUNC_CFG_ACCESS // Enable access to embedded functions registers2. Write 10h to EMB_FUNC_EN_A // Enable tilt detection3. Write 10h to EMB_FUNC_INT1 // Tilt interrupt driven to INT1 pin4. Write 80h to PAGE_RW // Enable latched mode for embedded functions5. Write 00h to FUNC_CFG_ACCESS // Disable access to embedded functions registers6. Write 02h to MD1_CFG // Enable embedded functions interrupt routing7. Write 20h to CTRL1_XL // Turn on the accelerometer// ODR_XL = 26 Hz, FS_XL = ±2 gWhen I tilt the sensor, I get an interrupt only once. After that, the level on the interrupt pin remains high all the time. After the power reset, the interrupt works only once again.Thank you for any help

Hello,I'm using the Zephyr RTOS on a STM32F091 and have recently started working on implementing some low-power states (sleep and STOP). The system is fed by the PLL (48MHz) which is in turn fed by a HSE (20MHz).I'm using the RTC peripheral to manage wake-ups, I simply set ALARMA at ~500ms before going to sleep. What I see after waking up from STOP mode, is a bunch of garbage characters on the UART output and the whole system seemed to have slowed down significantly. A blinking LED for example, is now blinking much slower. This is the code I use to enter the STOP mode://Switch to HSI clock before entering stop mode, needed so we can turn HSE off before entering (page 87 of RM) /* Enable HSI if not enabled */ if (LL_RCC_HSI_IsReady() != 1) { /* Enable HSI */ LL_RCC_HSI_Enable(); while (LL_RCC_HSI_IsReady() != 1) { /* Wait for HSI ready */ } }   /* Set HSI as SYSCLCK source */ LL_RCC_SetSysClkSource(LL_RCC_SYS_CLKSOURCE_HSI); while (LL_RCC_GetSysClkSource() != LL_RCC_SYS_CLKSOU

As datasheet states (more than once) the LQFP64 package of the 446RE has 2 SAI blocks (both with SAI-A and SAI-B) and in the HAL driver/definitions stm32f446xx.h both are available, but I'm not able to select the 2nd SAI in Cube (it is not shown there !), so the pinout caanot be done ! Any idea what happens there ?

Dear all,I am working on a project with an L081KZ and want to count pulses with a frequency higher than the clock. In the post here (community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001EyzG5SAJ/) I thankfully got the tip to use the LPTIM as it has an asynchronous feature.Sadly I cant get the LPTIM to run at all with an external clock and would like your help. There must be a fundamental problem I am overlooking.I apply a signal (quite slow with 1kHz and 3Vpp) onto PB5 / LPTIM but neither do I get a 1/20th of the signal (counting to 10 and 2 times because of the toggle-function) on PB3 / TOGGLE nor do I reach the breakpoints in “LPTIM1_IRQHandler?. In “Instance? → “CNT? is always 0.Looking at the “Low-power timer block diagram“ i get i want the „LPTIM_IN1„ as input and not the trigger so I don’t get constrains by the Mux. Do I need to specify anywhere that it is PB5 or is it implied as there is no other pin possible? Also I activated the interrupt checkbox NVIC. I configured the LPTIM via the Cube

Hi, I want to use external clock 16 MHz.So I implemented the following code.CLK_ClockSwitchConfig(CLK_SWITCHMODE_AUTO, CLK_SOURCE_HSE, DISABLE, CLK_CURRENTCLOCKSTATE_ENABLE);It was confirmed that 16MHz oscillated when programmed from STVD.However, when the same firmware is programmed from STVP, 16MHz does not oscillate. Why?Regards, Gotoda

I want to create a new project based on STM32H7A3 with an LCD 800 x 480 Picels and TouchGFX user interface. When setting up the project I get an error message on the TouchGFX Generator page which will not dissapear. I don't know, what is wrong with my initialisation. It says that the "Width/height values mus equal LTDC Window values". But they are both equal to 800x480. I even tried the computed values but the error keeps alive. Please see my screen dumps. What is wrong with this? Can anybody help? Thank you for any proposals.

Hi, I found there is nothing about how to develop on STA1385, even if there is no data sheet about thish chip. Could anyone tell me how to develop on this chip?Thank you

My SD card interface (using SDMMC1) stops working after the SD card has been removed/re-inserted.I have tried un-mounting using f_mount(0, &SDPath, 0) and then re-mounting with no success. As a test, I executed the following for each transaction:f_mount(&SDFatFs, &SDPath, 0);f_open(&SDFile,.....);f_write(&SDFile, .....);f_close(&SDFile);f_mount(0, &SDPath, 0);If I remove/re-insert the SD card after the 1st transaction, I get an FR_DISK_ERR error on the f_open() on the second transaction (following the reinsertion of the SD card). I have traced this error down into the HAL_SD_ReadBlocks_DMA() functions which gets a timeout on the call to SDMMC_CmdBlockLength(hsd->Instance, BLOCKSIZE).Any suggestions?

Currently when I unplug my Nucleo Board from my computer, my computer blue screens with a "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" error. Any ideas on what would cause this?It happens every time I unplug the board, even if all I do is plug it in, then unplug it right away.

** Question asked by @toshko ** I'd like to know more about the similarities and differences when writing NFC messages to NFC enabled telephone devices (for example, between WiFi OOB and (File, Text, SMS and Mail))I have ST25R3916 and STM32F429 and I can write NFC messages in Card Emulation mode: URI, Bluetooth pairing and WiFi OOB. I would like to know exactly what are those important details when I have to write a file, text SMS and e-mail. For example, if I have to write such NFC messages, what encryption function should I use for each NFC message here. Also other details and of your good practices how to organize what is needed.Best Regards,Toshko

Hi there,I have a blown TVS diode, with code: G30 P436, see attached. Looking at one of the other threads, suggests its SMAJ5.0A-TR. Is there anyway to confirm this? Any help identifying the component will be great. Cheers,
