I'm looking for a dev board for the ST25R3916 and I see two options: what would be the difference between the ST25R3916-EMVCO and X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1?I see that the X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 requires a separate MCU board to connect to, but is that the only difference? In terms of functionality and testing the ST25R3916, would they be equivalent? In that case, what would be the use case for the ST25R3916-EMVCO?

Hi! I am using STM32MP157C-DK2 board to create an application on the screen (using GTK library). My idea is to create a window with the following image inside:Created code:#include <gtk/gtk.h>   int main(int argc, char **argv) { GtkWidget *window; GtkWidget *layout; GtkWidget *image; GtkWidget *button;   gtk_init(&argc, &argv);   window = gtk_window_new(GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL); gtk_window_set_default_size (GTK_WINDOW (window), 800, 480); gtk_window_set_title (GTK_WINDOW (window), "Info window"); // gtk_window_fullscreen(GTK_WINDOW(window)); gtk_window_set_position(GTK_WINDOW(window), GTK_WIN_POS_CENTER);   layout = gtk_layout_new(NULL, NULL); gtk_container_add(GTK_CONTAINER (window), layout); gtk_widget_show(layout);   image = gtk_image_new_from_file("linux.png"); gtk_layout_put(GTK_LAYOUT(layout), image, 600, 50);   button = gtk_button_new_with_label("PREVIOUS"); gtk_layout_put(GTK_LAYOUT(layout), button, 150, 300); gtk_widget

Hello! I am new to TouchGFX Designer and I was wondering if there is a way to automate the process of importing Figma designs to TouchGFX Designer.

I am using X-CUBE-EEPROM software to emulate EEPROM in flash memory of the MCU.It is running on STM32G070RB. This MCU has endurance only 1 kcycle. We would like to store only a few variables (about 10) to the virtual eeprom. I expect that the main application will modify these variables only couple of times.I found that the zeros (64bits) are written to the emulated eeprom on every restart during EE_Init (due to data recovery mechanism). It doesn't matter if the EE_Init is called with EE_FORCED_ERASE or EE_CONDITIONAL_ERASE. And it doesn't matter if some eeprom variable was modified from the last restart. Is it possible to remove writing of the zeros on every restart? E.g. If the device didn't modified any eeprom variable from the last restart? It means that there are already zeros from the last restart at the end of the virtual eeprom and they can be used for recovery mechanism if it would needed. Why it is necessary to write additional 64bit zeros? It can wear the emulated eeprom becaus

hello...I have a swipe container which consist of three pages ..what i have done is i want a scroll wheel in page 2 as screen, so i covered whole screen (page 2) with scroll wheel but when am doing swipe i can't able to swipe from page 2 to page 3..may i haves scroll wheel entire may be it is not working..is there any solution for this issue...if any please let me know..thank you..

I bought the P-NUCLEO-LRWAN3 STM32 Nucleo starter pack for LoRa and it says that if the NUCLEO-LO73RZ board's serial number is within a certain range, which it is, the board must be updated with a new firmware before use. However, the link provided only takes me to the LoRaWAN software expansion for STMCube. So, where can I get the new firmware that I must update the board with?

I am trying to run a simple application with my Nucleo-L476RG where I only enable HSE clock and I activate the software pack TouchGFX, nothing else. Unfortunately I get these errors in STM32CubeIDE: No commands are in the main, only the usual init() and stuff. Where I can find these missing files?Thank you!

Hello,I'm using a stm32f7508-DK and so far I've only created a small gui (a page with a few functions). As I added more widgets and containers, the time to flash the board increased enormously. is that normal?? 1:46 min..

I would like to see a schematic for this ic

Is it possible to create 2 or more types in a custom trigger? i tried it with a komma, but i doesn't work.

I've successfully created a custom flash loader for the STM32H7A3ZIT6Q with the MT25TL256 dual-quad NOR FLASH. I can erase, program and read the external memory in STM32CubeProgrammer with a dummy file. Flashing an elf file with external flash data fails. Memory mapping also works in my STM32CubeIDE project. The project has some dummy data in the external flash section. It shows up in the Build Analyzer. I can export the external memory section to a bin file, which I can manually flash with STM32CubeProgrammer. If I debug my application I can see the dummy variable is correctly initialized and in the right location. I use the following post-build command to export my bin file:arm-none-eabi-objcopy.exe -O binary --only-section=.textqspi "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.elf" textqspi.binI've added my flash loader to a new launch file and I get the following output:STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. I am working with STM32nucleoL476RG on a code able to establish an I2C communication between the pressure sensor Ilps22qs and my board. I am using the Qvar functionality, so I followed this pseudocode as reported on Qvar documentation:Write(0x10, 0x08); // ODR set to 1 HzWrite(0x12, 0x80); // QVAR_enableAnd then reading on register 2Ah, 29h, 28h to read the stored data:MultiRead(0x28, (uint8_t*)&qvar_out, 3) As you can see on my code reported below, I used the HAL library functions HAL_I2C_Mem_Write() and HAL_I2C_Mem_Read() to perform write and read operations and then HAL uart functions to send the data on a terminal. The code builds without errors but when I run it nothing happens. The trouble is related only on the I2C part, I am sure because I tested the uart by sending some characters and it works correctly. I tried to execute a debug, I noticed that when I arrive on the first I2C function the program gets in stuck. What is wrong in my code? Thank you very much. #include "mai

I have a board P-Nucleo55WB and I have to receive data from usart syncronized with external clock. Is it possible?I tried to configure with CubeMX as Syncronized Slave and I see USART1_CK enabled, but this pin is not used for receive the external clock, is it correct? In the generated code I see this /*-------------------------- USART BRR Configuration -----------------------*/ /* BRR is filled-up according to OVER8 bit setting which is forced to 1 */ USART_GETCLOCKSOURCE(husart, clocksource);   switch (clocksource) { case USART_CLOCKSOURCE_PCLK2: pclk = HAL_RCC_GetPCLK2Freq(); usartdiv = (uint32_t)(USART_DIV_SAMPLING8(pclk, husart->Init.BaudRate, husart->Init.ClockPrescaler)); break; case USART_CLOCKSOURCE_HSI: usartdiv = (uint32_t)(USART_DIV_SAMPLING8(HSI_VALUE, husart->Init.BaudRate, husart->Init.ClockPrescaler)); break; case USART_CLOCKSOURCE_SYSCLK: pclk = HAL_RCC_GetSysClockFreq(); usartdiv = (uint32_t)(USART_DIV_SAMPLING8(pclk, husart->Init.BaudR

I have STSafe a110 crypto chip in my hardware. I have created the private and public key pairs and signed the firmware image. During the firmware upgrade, on host side, the signature needs to be verified using the stsafe a110 chip. I have used ECDSA_do_verify(&Hash[0], 64, sig, eckey_pub); but i got "OpenSSL error 218570907 error:0D07209B:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_get_object:too long" error. After that i have changed the message size to ECDSA_do_verify(&Hash[0], 32, sig, eckey_pub); But now it is failing with StSafeA_VerifyMessageSignature called, StatusCode:0 SignatureValidity=0 error. What could be the reason for it? is there a limitation of 32byte message size? are there any other limitations because of which signature verification is failing?

After update TouchGFX 4.20.0 to 4.21.0, all fixed element on the screen don't stay where they are meant to be. I post the following image, in which the Text element and MORE-logo element are locked. But after simulation these elements are all arranged to the left up of the page. If I unlock those elements, there is then no such problems. How does that come?Best wishes,J.Pan

Hello,We are using STM32MP157A.We are working on IPCC from A7-0,A7-1 to M4.We are getting IPCC interrupt A7-1 to M4,But when we are not getting interrupt from A7-0 to M4.In cubeMx it is showing NVIC to IPCC RX1 and TX1, but not showing to RX0,TX0.we are using CubeMX 6.3.0 and firmware version is STM32Cube_FW_MP1_V1.4.0.But in reference manual showing IPCC_RX0,IPCC_TX0 these interrupts are available. in our application we need interrupts both A7_0 ,A7_1 processors to M4 controller.please help us in this regards.regardssrikanth

We made a custom PCB board using STM32WB5MMG. We tried connecting BLE and USB (DFU mode) together using STMCubeIDE, but if we enable BLE USB is not working. But without both are working well independently. We are new to this controller. So we didn't know how to enable both.

Hi,I am using STM32L071 micro controller for my product. We planned to flash the code using USART communication. The USART1 from MCU is connected to embedded system ( Nvidia Xavier NX ) using USB to UART converter. Then the MCU is put into boot mode by setting BOOT0 pin HIGH. I confirmed that the MCU entered bootloader mode by connecting ST-Link V2 with the MCU and ensured that the PC pointed to the bootloader address(0X1FF00B38) of the STM32L071 series as shown in the image belowAfter entering system memory mode, if I try to flash the code through UART using STflash tool from Source Forge , I was not able to flash the code. Error shown by the program: Timed out.Can someone please guide me what I am missing here?

I am working with the STM32F072CB device on a custom PCB. Working from this STM32 example.I just want to implement a basic loopback test. However i don't seem to receive any data.HAL_CAN_Init() is called succesfulHAL_CAN_Start() is called succesfulHAL_CAN_ActivateNotification(&hcan, CAN_IT_RX_FIFO0_MSG_PENDING) is called successful and should call HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback() when any message are recieved.I then transmit a basic message from HAL_CAN_AddTxMessage() of which I can see is complete from the HAL_CAN_TxMailbox0CompleteCallback().But still no receive interrupt is generated.static void MX_CAN_Init(void) { hcan.Instance = CAN; hcan.Init.Prescaler = 8; hcan.Init.Mode = CAN_MODE_SILENT_LOOPBACK; hcan.Init.SyncJumpWidth = CAN_SJW_1TQ; hcan.Init.TimeSeg1 = CAN_BS1_5TQ; hcan.Init.TimeSeg2 = CAN_BS2_6TQ; hcan.Init.TimeTriggeredMode = DISABLE; hcan.Init.AutoBusOff = DISABLE; hcan.Init.AutoWakeUp = DISABLE; hcan.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; hcan.Init.Rec

I have the following DTS file and I have not been able to get the GPIO external interrupt working correctly. I have read this document on interrupt overviews, and tried to enable the EXTI to have control of the GPIOB pin 12. /dts-v1/;   #include "stm32mp157.dtsi" #include "stm32mp15xa.dtsi" #include "stm32mp15-pinctrl.dtsi" #include "stm32mp15xxac-pinctrl.dtsi" #include "stm32mp15xx-dkx.dtsi"   / { model = "STMicroelectronics STM32MP157A-DK1 Discovery Board"; compatible = "st,stm32mp157a-dk1", "st,stm32mp157";   chosen { stdout-path = "serial0:115200n8"; };     button { compatible = "test,button"; input-gpios = <&gpiob 12 (GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW | GPIO_PULL_UP)>; //Works with pull-up once the driver is loaded. interrupts-extended = <&gpiob 12 IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_FALLING>; interrupt-names = "qwerty"; status = "okay"; };   led { extern-led { compatible = "test,led"; gpios = <&gpiob 10 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; linux

I have a WIO-5 mini from Seeed. I bought STM-LINK V2 to program it. But I can't attach it to STM32 Cube Programmer; I read this page Wio-E5 mini - Seeed Wiki (seeedstudio.com), but I found it completely unusable. I tried to connect STM8 wires to that chip, but the cables on the photo are entirely different from those in my ST-LINK device. They have different colors, and the authors of this page don't explain which pin should be attached to WIO-5 pins. I tried to do it in many ways, but STM32 Cube Programmer doesn't;t react to Connect button (without success or fail message)So I have a question, how to program a WIO-5 device using ST-LINK?

Hello, I solve a problem with writing the value to the register of sensor VL53L1X. It is the main purpose, why the sensor doesn´t read distance because the init state is invalid. For example, I tried to write the value 0x2 to the register 0x30 on the Arduino board and then on the BluePill board with chip STM32f103C8T6. On the Arduino, it worked, but on the STM didnť work. I´m adding PrintScreens from the oscilloscope with the same message in Arduino and in STM for comparison. The messages are different in length and count of peaks. It looks like, then STM has an incorrect SCL. I´m also adding the STM code using vl53l1_platform.c// STM write and read byte status += VL53L1_WrByte(dev, 0x30, 0x2); status += VL53L1_RdByte(dev, 0x30, &byteData);     int8_t VL53L1_WrByte(uint16_t dev, uint16_t index, uint8_t data) { StatusErr = 0; int32_t status_int;   _I2CBuffer[0] = (uint8_t)(index >> 8); _I2CBuffer[1] = (uint8_t)(index & 0xFF); _I2CBuffer[2] = (u

can somebody tell me, how to do it

Hi! I have tested this in all my projects.I have several compilation flavours with several symbols but you can test this issue only with default flavours: Release and Debug.Delete DEBUG preprocessor symbol in Debug flavourOpen device configuration toolClick code generation After that, DEBUG symbol is again added to Debug flavour. This symbol is not used and isn't a problem but in my projects and flavours I want not this symbol because may be confused to others developers. I can solve it by creating flavours based in Release but I would like to know if there is any option to avoid this behaviourThanks!!
