I have a custom board with an STM32H7A3ZIT6Q. It has the MT25TL256 NOR flash connected to the pins of OCTOSPI1.I'm trying to write a flashloader/driver.In our application we do not need to execute code from this flash. We only need it for data. But if there is a way to get execution working that would be nice too.I'm following the tutorial from ST:ST tutorial:https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/learning/stm32-education/stm32-moocs/external_QSPI_loader.htmlhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFIvJVsvIsE&list=PLnMKNibPkDnHIrq5BICcFhLsmJFI_ytvE&index=1Template project: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KiaqXgiubk81EvevofK-y3LxrCl9NHfiSTM git repo https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader/tree/contribApplication note: https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/group0/91/dd/af/52/e1/d3/48/8e/DM00407776/files/DM00407776.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00407776.pdfMCU Datasheet: https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/st

I have a nucleo-U575ZI-Q and can run the examples for the ADCs just fine. However when I try and make my own project using STM32CubeMX the code hangs at the ADC calibration. I've gone over the settings a dozen times and compared them against the example and cannot find anything different. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks

I am trying to use LWIP on the STM32H723 Nucleo board to send and receive UDP packets. I have generated code using CubeMX version 6.70 and configured it to use LWIP with FreeRTOS. I have referred to the H7 series LWIP related problems and H723 address setting problems in this community. But when I run the project, it triggers the MemMange_Handler(void) and no longer proceeds. I believe the issue may be with the MPU configuration. If I don't set up MPU, the project runs, but I can't send or receive UDP packets. When I check packets using WireShark, I can only see ARP protocol when sending UDP packets. I would appreciate it if you could tell me the solution.

Hello, I have an application where we are using a couple of the ST25R3916B in a design but with a different processor. I've looked through the forum posts and gleaned some information here and there, but is there a guide on how to port this library to a different processor? It is the MSP430F5xx series. Or I don't suppose you have any example code that is already ported for this processor?We will be reading either the ISO15693 or ISO 14443 tags; that hasn't been decided yet.I'm using ST25NFC_Embedded_Lib_ST25R3916_1.4. I will be using the basic polling example.Ideally the porting guide would include:How to set up the directory tree so that everything is foundWhich files I will need to port to my own hardwareHow to test that we are communicating with the ST253916 successfully.Which middleware I need to includeAny "gotchas" or information that is important to know when portingThank you,Derek

Hello,I need to if it´s possible to perform an OOK modulation with the STM32WL55JC (433 MHz or 868 MHz). If so, how can I do it, and does somebody has an example for this?Thanks!

Hi,I'm wondering if it's possible to freeze the IWDG in stop mode for STM32F429. I couldn't find this option in the STM32CubeProgrammer. Not sure if this is feasible.Thanks,

Hi,I am looking to use the STM32U575CIT6Q in a USB project. The documentation everywhere mentions VDDUSB but that pin does not appear to be present on the LQFP48 package. Is it just tied to VDD internally? The data sheet appears to show that OTG FS is available on all of the different packages, so I'm not sure how the transceivers are powered.If the VDDUSB is internally tied to VDD then does this imply that VDD >= 3V?Thanks,TG

I would like to set the low-power timer as wake up source to wake up the Linux from sleep mode with some periodic time, let's see every 5 minutes. All I have found is pwm and counter examples here: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/LPTIM_device_tree_configuration

From the datasheet from the slave device: "First the host must write a command to the slave device. Then it must follow that command with a repeated start condition to denote a read from that device's address. The slave then returns two bytes of data.Note that there is not a stop condition before the repeated start condition, and that a "Not Acknowledge" signifies the end of the read transfer."The data format:S - Device Addr - Wr - A Cmd Code - A - S - Device Addr - Rd - A - Data Byte Low - A - Data High - !A - PThe Slave's responses are underlined.Any ideas? Hi, i've been building self balancing robot, so i needed quite lot of periphelias to be working together, they are: I2C, EXTI's, two Timers in encoder mode, Timer in PWM generation mode and GPIO outputs.I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.9.0., and STM32L432KC nucleo boardI've been enabling those peripherals one by one in cubeMX, and every time when i generated code i've checked if it works. (It all went fine, MPU6050, EEPROM, and LCD connected to I2C bus worked well, so i assume my hardware setup is good) Unfortunately, after enabling PA6 and/or PA5 as GPIO output, my I2C1_SDA and I2C1_SCL lines are immediately pulled down after powering up the device.That's weird behaviour because I2C1 has nothing in common with pins PA6 and PA5.Maybe i missed something in documentation or in chip errata.I posted the code (whole project) on GitHub because it's easy to see changes in the code between commits, it helped me a lot in finding this bug source (i suppose lol). I apologize if the names of the commits a

I have an STM32F403ZH Nucleo board and it's connected to three separate CAN channels. I would like to be able to receive identical messages on any channel (same identifier, baud rate, etc) and have the microcontroller be able to determine which one it came from so it can handle it differently. This would allow my three identical devices to not have to be reprogrammed to send messages with different identifiers.I've been looking through the reference manual and I don't think it's possible. The 3 different CAN controllers all send the same interrupt to the main controller. No trace of which CAN controller sent the interrupt or received the message is stored when the message is sent to the FIFO, or in the mailbox when the main controller receives the message from the FIFO. I could differentiate between two channels by having them output into different FIFOs, but not three. If anybody knows a way then I'd be happy to hear it. Thank you.

Hello, I want to flash a FW to my STSPIN32G4 custom boards that tests each phase FET individually by switching through the different high- and lowside FETs one per one. Is there an easy way to do this? Any help is appreciated.PS:All I found is a function to turn on all lowsidefets:  For the highside switches I know its more complicated because the bootstrap caps first need to be charged. I also found this init function:All I need is a code snippet to change the output state of those 6 pins from low to high and vice versa. Thanks! :)

Welcome, why for STM32MP157FAA1 at "STM32MP1 Series DDR memory routing guidelines examples" there is no terminating resistors?

Hi,I'm having a STM32G474 with Bootloader block (0x0800 0000 - 0x0800 4FFF) and Application block (0x0800 5000 - 0x0807 FFFF).I need to update Bootloader from Application, by copying a new bootloader located on higher memory. Is it possible ?I'm using the same code of the bootloader to erase the pages 0 to 4 but no success. I can't even write on the bootloader block.So is it possible to erase the bootloader from the running application ?Thanks

Hello,even though I have selected an external QSPI loader, at "Erasing & Programming" the firmware is not uploaded to the external memory, the programmer loads it to the internal memory.Why this?Thank you

So, the issue is as follows, according to datasheet the timer for pin B14 AF1, which is the PWM signal I believe, is the TIM1_CH2N. I have gone out of my way to try and output something, I just can't seem to understand what the problem is#define AF01 0x01   void ms_delay(int ms) { while (ms-- > 0) { volatile int x = 500; while(x-- > 0) __asm("nop"); } }   void setup() { RCC->AHB1ENR |= 1<<1; //Enable clock for GPIOB RCC->APB2ENR |= 1<<0; //Enable clock for TIM1   GPIOB->MODER |= 1<<29; //Set pin B14 to alternate function GPIOB->MODER &= ~(1<<28);   GPIOB->MODER |= 1<<0; GPIOB->OTYPER &= ~(1<<0);   GPIOB->AFR[1] |= AF01<<24; //Set the alternate function register for pin 14 to 0001   TIM1->PSC=0; TIM1->ARR=255; TIM1->CNT=0;   TIM1->CCMR1 |= (1<<13)|(1<<14); //Set channel 2 to pwm mode 1 TIM1->CCER |= 1<<4; //Enable channel 2 TI

Hello, In the product specification STM32WLE5xx/STM32WLE4xx, december, 2022 DS13105 Rev 12, we can find on page 137 a recommended footprint in Figure 32 for the UFQFPN48 casing.But, we can also download the footprint of this casing in the CAD Ressources, for example link: STM32WLE5CC - Sub-GHz Wireless Microcontrollers. Arm Cortex-M4 @48 MHz with 256 Kbytes of Flash memory, 64 Kbytes of SRAM. LoRa, (G)FSK, (G)MSK, BPSK modulations. AES 256-bit. Multiprotocol System-on-Chip. - STMicroelectronicsThe both footprints are not identical (pad dimensions etc...).Why do we have 2 footprints for the UFQFPN48 casing ? Could you tell me the best footprint to use? Thanks in advance, regards, Daniel.

HI,I'm new here.I found that three adc can be configured for alternate use by querying the STM32F7xxx datasheet.But But I have encountered some difficulties. I hope someone can explain it to me.Tell me how to use ADC_TRIPLEMODE_INTERL. The following is the program I tried to configure, but failed.Thank you.

Hi, I have to develope a system where an stm32 connected via ethernet handles files stored in a sdcard through an FTP connection from a PC.I know there is a sample from ST exactly about this but I can't get it to work on my nucleo H723 board, it seems that somehow the generated files from cubemx are totally scrambled, different content and placed in different locations.Infact if I try to setup a project using cubemx as found in an online blog the project is generated but I cannot find ethernetif.c under src folder for example...Could you please help me and show me the right directions?thanks
