In datasheet, pin 43 as PB0 and pin 44 as PB1. However, it is reversed on the module.

I am trying to interface the VL53L1x sensor with a TI controller. I have checked the I2C read and write operations on the board, and they are working properly. The data sent and received over I2C are correct. However, when I try to read Model_ID 0x010F or Module_Type 0x0110, the response I get is 0xA5. What does this value mean? I get this value for both the reads. I am not able to solve this issue. What could I possibly be doing wrong?

Hi,I'm using a NUCLEO-G491 board with a G491RET6 MCU.To test the DAC, I created a Triangle signal by incrementing a variable and writing it to the DHR12R register. However the top of the Triangle is cut-off and the maximum voltage on the Pin is 3.45 V. I'm using the Pin A4 (with the Buffer enabled) which was only connected to an Oscilloscope. The same happens with a sawtooth signal.bool rampUp = true; uint16_t value_dc=0;   while(1) { if (rampUp == true) { DAC -> DHR12R1 = (value_dc & 0x0FFF); value_dc++; if (value_dc == 4095) { rampUp = false; } } else { DAC -> DHR12R1 = (value_dc & 0x0FFF); value_dc--; if (value_dc == 0) { rampUp = true; } } }I also tried the on-board Triangle-wave generation, but the same thing happens.I changed manually the values and measured the voltages with a voltmeter. The voltage increased until the value 3100 and didn't change any more after this.I also tried:Output Buffer Enabled / Disabled

When the number of defined custom container increases the flat menu is dificult to navigate and I find myself looking around to find my container. Can the container be organized in folders?With the images it is "possible" to have some order with the folder. Is the same achiveable with the containers?

Hello everyone, I'm an HW engineer and I'm quite new in the communication betweer mcu.I'm now facing a communication error related to FDCAN.My colleagues and I have made a system that needs to communicate with the outside world via FD CAN, working on a prototype with H7A3ZIQ Nucleo and STM32H7A3ZIQ micro with dual CAN (1 and 2) of which we use only the FDCAN1.On demo board everything works properly. We interface the demo board CAN RX and TX with the SN65HVD230DR transceiver and we connect the CANH and CANL and GND to the tool Microchip CAN analyzer which reads the data correctly and manages to establish communication (as can be seen from attached presentation).We replicated the necessary circuits on our own PCB, copying the demo board subsystems (SPI, CAN, a timer, direct programming via STLink and SN65HVD230DR) .The only variation is the absence of power supply from SMPS, but we use the linear internal to the micro.In addition, the external HSE oscillator is missing as on demo board,

I just updated TouchGFX designer from version 4.2.0 to 4.21.0. Trying to open my projects saved last time with version 4.2.0, I'm obliged to update them to the new version. After this, they are all corrupted.

Hi,We are using stm32mp157a-dk1 board. In this when we boot Cortex-M4 code with rproc commands in uboot, cortex-M4 is running.We are using stm32mp157aaa3 processor in my custom board. When we are trying to boot Cortex-M4 in Uboot with rproc commands. It is not running.When we give rproc init commands we are getting Remote Processors are alread Intialized message on Console.When we give rproc load command we are getting load failed message on console.Note:Cortex-M4 is running individually with Jtag and QSPI boot.How can i boot Cortex-M4 in Uboot With Rproc commands?You can find in below Attachment for rproc Commands in my custom board.Please help us in this reagrds.

Hi, i need to find a mcu with 2 usb, min 512k of total ram and min 1024k of flash.When i put RAM and flash on selector, the result is mcu without USB, but you can see on list many mcu with 2 USB.The result is worst if you put on selector directly 2 usb ( without flash and ram )... the mcu showed are different.Its a selector bug ?Sorry for my english !Regards

How do I change the pin for the u-boot-stm32mp programmer mode at boot up?

I am fiddling with a STM32WB5M discovery kit.This kit includes a QuadSPI external NOR FLASH chip and i need to understand this in order to make early design choices. Could the DMA access that external FLASH memory space?I didnt try it yet, but my limited understanding of how DMA magic works is telling me it wont work because QSPI is in the way... am i wrong?is there any way to include external FLASH/RAM thats accessible by DMA?

Using HAL_UART_Transmit_DMAUSART is in async mode, 115200,8,1,-DMA: Data width = byte (nothing else works)Any clues as to what could be happening here?Thank you!Ned

I'm trying to open a security session with an st25DV tag. I followed the manual and I am sending a message to present the default password (8 x 00h + 09h command + 8 x 00h) using HAL_I2C_Mem_Write. I already looked at the signal with a logic analyzer and all the bytes are being acknowledged, however, when I try to read the I2C_SSO_Dyn register right after I get a zero.Does anyone know what the problem could be? The password has never been changed before, is it possible that the default password is different? Or maybe I'm not reading the register correctly?The present password code I am using is as follows:int32_t PresentI2CPassword(const ST25DV_Object_t *const pObj, const ST25DV_PASSWD PassWord) { uint8_t ai2c_message[17] = {0}; uint8_t i;   /* Build I2C Message with Password + Validation code 0x09 + Password */ ai2c_message[8] = 0x09; for(i = 0; i < 4; i++) { ai2c_message[i] = (PassWord.MsbPasswd >> ((3 - i) * 8)) & 0xFF; ai2c_message[i + 4] = (PassWord.LsbPa

Am in the infancy of a proof-of-concept investigation with ST25DV64. I have been able to do some read/writes with NFC without issue - and am working on the i2c side.We are working with a custom/proprietary system/i2c stack so I don't have much off-the-shelf code to fall back on, but I've written what seems to be a proper implementation of the basic register read/write protocols outlined in ST25DV64 datasheet - and they MOSTLY work. I can read the NFC NDEF data via i2c from registers at i2c address 0x53, device addresses 0 - 32.I am also getting what appears to be valid Dynamic Configuration registers via device 0x53 register addresses 0x2000-2007 as such:2000: 88 ff 08 00 00 00 00 00Which seem to be a valid representation of the initial state of these registers. I can also write and modify one of the GPO bits and read it back But here's where things get weird:If I write like an 0x08 to location 2000 - it seems to turn off the high 8 bit. But If I write a 0xff I read back an 0x88. If I

Hello,I am facing an issue with nCS pin of QSPI on STM32H747BIT.Reference manual indicates that SCLK is supposed to wait one period after nCS fall before starting operations :But I do not observe this wait on my board.*Yellow is the clock *Blue is the nCS signalHere is my QSPI configuration : hqspi.Instance = QUADSPI; hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 111; hqspi.Init.FifoThreshold = 32; hqspi.Init.SampleShifting = QSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_NONE; hqspi.Init.FlashSize = 21; hqspi.Init.ChipSelectHighTime = QSPI_CS_HIGH_TIME_1_CYCLE; hqspi.Init.ClockMode = QSPI_CLOCK_MODE_0; hqspi.Init.FlashID = QSPI_FLASH_ID_2; hqspi.Init.DualFlash = QSPI_DUALFLASH_DISABLE;Then I use the following commands to communicate with my peripheral (APS6404L-SQH QSPI PSRAM) :HAL_QSPI_Command(&hqspi, &APS_QSPI_Command, HAL_QSPI_TIMEOUT_DEFAULT_VALUE); HAL_QSPI_Receive(&hqspi,buffer,HAL_QSPI_TIMEOUT_DEFAULT_VALUE) ;The small wait period I saw with scope seems to decrease when clock frequency increase. Hello I'm using a STM32F1107VCT6 on an EasyMx Pro V7 dev board and I've a problem of clock. I create a project from STM32 Cube MX and I'm using STM32 Cube IDE for developing. I want to toggle a LED every 1 second. For this I'm using the library HAL and the function "HAL_Delay(1000)" but the LED doesn't blink at 1 second. The module of my MCU have two quartz X1(HSE) at 25MHz and X2(LSE) and I want to use the HSE to toggle my LED at 1 second. I've configured the clock configuration on STM32 Cube MX like this :I don't understand from where the problem come from if anyone have some idea of this problem and could help me.

I created a MDK-ARM project in CubeMXwith touchgfx custom target, BW display 128x64I generate the sources via cube mx adn the touchgfx DesignerI try to compile and getTouchGFX\target\generated\TouchGFXConfiguration.cpp(32): error: #20: identifier "LCD1bpp" is undefinedIt looks like the Middlewares\ST\touchgfx\framework\include\platform\driver\lcd\LCD1bpp.h is not included.Had anyone this problem before?

I try to implement a multilevel menusystem with one scrollwheel-widget and pysical buttons.I added a scrollwheel with 10 items(even if my menu has not 10 items in every level of hierachy) and want to manage the items on my own, as i want to use this scrollwheel to show every level of my menusystemroot A A0 A1 B B0 B1 C C0 C1But i'm having some troubles with foring the correct redraw of the scrollwheel.I overloaded void MenuLevel1View::scrollWheel1UpdateItem(menuItemNormal& item, int16_t itemIndex)     void MenuLevel1View::scrollWheel1UpdateCenterItem(menuItemSelected& item, int16_t itemIndex)    I can navigate trough my root menu level and the overloaded update functions are called and i see ABC in a list as expected.When i want to switch to another menulevel i call a function to set the root of my scroolwheel to the new tree-node to show all it's leafes (set to C should show C0 and C1)When i have selected "C" the itemindex of the scrollwheel is 2I

I had been debugging this program for some time with no problems. After making change to a header file to resolve a conflict, the debugger would no longer run. The program compiled , loaded and verified OK, but as soon as the debug perspective appeared the console reported "connection lost" "shutting down" and the C/C++ perspective returned. The board itself ran OK, and other programs ran and debugged OK on it, but this one program always caused GDB to terminate. I was using "ST-Link GDB server", but I got the same problem with "OpenOCD".I couldn't find any way to diagnose the problem, just asking "What have I changed?".Eventually I discovered it was a value in the Expressions window, that had been invalidated by the change in the header file, that was causing GDB to exit. Not sure whether this is a problem with CubeIDE or with GDB as there doesn't seem to be any diagnostics.

at the datasheet:LDO only - can work with VOS0SMPS directly cant work with VOS0.SMPS on and supplies only the LDO - ?

Hello all....Ok....not sure what i am missing here but this fails miserably....The compiler hates when I try and assign test = The return function works fine, I have made the return variable static so as not to lose the scope....test is an array so I expect test is the same as me doing &test[0]...What am I missing here?uint8_t test[6];   for (uint8_t k = 0; k < NO_ADC_CH; k++) { test = hex2Ascii(&stream[k]); test[4] = '\r'; test[5] = '\n'; //new line HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart2, test, sizeof(test)); }     char*hex2Ascii(uint16_t *val) { unsigned char d; static char buff[4];   buff[0] = (char)((d = (*val >> 12)) > 9 ? Hey allI am building an application using a STM32G071RB with a DRP1M1 as ucpd 0 and a USBDP1 (old SNK1M1) as ucpd 1 and new to the STM UCPD worldIn an attempt to start from a working base, I used the DRP1M1_DRP example project as a starting point. This works until I change the "USBPD_PORT_COUNT" in the .cproject file to "=2" at witch point the the running board stops being picked up by cubeMonitor After that I created a blank project to see if I could get both ucpd's working. The system only seems to work when cmsis v2 is used.The DemoUCPD example seems to run on cmsis v1, so my my question is there something I missed setting to get two ports on cmsis v1?These are the changes to the DRP1M1_DRP example so far-the additional PDO lists for port 1, in pdo_defs-adition of an ADC channel for sink vbus-setting "USBPD_PORT_COUNT=2" in the .cproject fileThanks
