Hi Everyone,I have a STM32L1 connected via USB in DFU-Mode.I'd like to write EEPROM, but trying to do so results in "Memory Limits Error".Using old DfuSe 3.0.6., this is possible... What am I missing? Is CubeProgrammer at all capable of writing EEPROM?Thank you!

please share the link to download the hardware schematic for board NUCLEO=F767ZI

Hi all!!Follow the wiki page, I added support to kernel FIT image in my Yocto distro for the board stm32mp157c-dk2 based on openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.11.23.Just I added the option: MACHINE_FEATURES += "fit" and I selected BOOTSCHEME_LABELS += "trusted" in stm32mp15-disco.conf and finally I generated the new image.The problem is thar after start kernel I see a ETZPC trace that does not appear in the typical configuration.FIT image traces:## Loading kernel from FIT Image at c2000000 ... Can anyone suggest me some easy tips/libraries to play or decode those mp3 files to the speaker.

I am using a U585QI and have some external flash memory connected to an OCTOSPI. We are having some intermittent failures with it, and since we're powering the processor with 1.8v I want to try enabling HSLV for the Data/Clock lines. I found HAL_GPIO_EnableHighSPeedLowVoltage, but I'm not sure when to call it...1) Is this a common use case for the high-speed-low-voltage functionality?2) Is there any example code for this? Particularly the option bits aspect?

I connected my STM32WB5M DK with USB DFU mode according to manual and description.When i want to read or write the opt area over the cli and i got the error:Error: OTP programming is currently not supported on MCU devices What does it mean it is currently not supported? I saw in other post it was working in other versions?

A packet with CRC error has both SUBGHZ_IT_RX_CPLT and SUBGHZ_IT_CRC_ERROR flag set.In stm32wlxx_hal_subghz.c, this leads to both RxCpltCallback() and CRCErrorCallback() being called.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWL/blob/main/Drivers/STM32WLxx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32wlxx_hal_subghz.c#L1244I believe that only CRCErrorCallback() should be called. That is what is done in the drivers provided by semtech for the sx126x:https://github.com/Lora-net/LoRaMac-node/blob/master/src/radio/sx126x/radio.c#L1282

I am using stm32f405 mcu and stm32cubeide.I'm beginner with cmsis v2 of rtos.i'm setting deferred interrupt task. so I want to set priority of deferred task.but I can't select "osPriorityISR".please help me.

I'm using the Nucleo32L031 board connected to a Adafruit TCA9548A 1:8 multiplexer board. I have the board setup properly, Vcc = 3.3, GND, SCA and SCL pins double checked. I have a Sparkfun TMP102 temp sensor board connected to the TCA9548A's port0.I set the mux channel with:HAL_StatusTypeDef ret;uint16_t TCA9548A_ADDR = (0x70 << 1); //default address is 0x70uint8_t current_buf[3];channel_buf[0] = 0;ret = HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, TCA9548A_ADDR, channel_buf, 1, 15000); // sets TCA9548A output channel to port 0ret = OK hereThen I try to communicate with the temp sensor TMP102:uint16_t SEN_13314_ADDR = (0x48 << 1); // default address is 0x48uint8_t temp_buf[3];ret = HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c1, SEN_13314_ADDR, temp_buf, 2, 5000);ret != OK hereI've checked all of the pull-ups are correct. If I connect the TMP102 I2C lines directly to the Nucleo's I2C lines I can read the temperature. I just can't using the mux.Has anybody successfully used the TCA9548A chip? Any

I wrote a simple GPIO driver for Nucleo-l432kc board I used one GPIO.c file and multiple headers for RCC GPIO ..etcI added the main method in the same file GPIO.c and it worked fine now I moved the main function to another file main.c (to isolate the example and the driver code) but now I got multiple definitions linker error when trying to link main.o and GPIO.o so how I can compile multiple source files and avoid this linker error ?GPIO.c:#include <GPIO.h>       uint8_t gpio_read_pin(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx, uint8_t pin){ return ((GPIOx->IDR & (1 << pin)) ? 1 : 0); } void gpio_write_pin(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx, uint8_t pin, uint8_t value){ if(value) GPIOx->ODR |= (1 << pin) ; else GPIOx->ODR &= ~(1 << pin); } void gpio_set_alt_func(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx, uint8_t pin, uint8_t alt_fun){ uint8_t baseBit = (pin * 4) % 32; uint8_t reg = pin < 8 ? 0 : 1;   GPIOx->AFR[reg] &= ~(0b1111 << baseBit); GPIOx->AFR[reg

The file "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" as per windows does exist in C:\Windows\SysWOW64I get the same result after installing: en.st-stm32cubeide_1.11.0and  en.st-stm32cubeide_1.11.2Any ideas?

Hi I am trying to initialize TIM2 to get a PWM outpt from PA15 of my STM32F407 development board. have tried with STLink V2 and it's works fine. In the manual of ST-Link V3 they are not specifying any particular jumper settings for SWD. With a multimeter I cannot detect Vcc of 3.3V between the VCC and GND of SWD pins. Please find the below picture. Is it not possible to power the STM bluepill board target using ST-Link V3 SET. With Cube Programmer I am getting below error. The ST-Link V3 is detected by the system. I have double checked the SWD connection and as you guys know its simple with 4 wire.

I have the array of character strings that I am trying to printout to Real Term using a Nucleo -F072. The code compiles with no warnings or errors, yet every time I run this it jumps into the HardFault_Handler....Can someone please tell me what am I doing incorrectly??? My lack of knowledge on pointers and casting is somehow the cause.......char t[][4] = {"1234", "3455", "1121", "0032", "0621"};     for (k = 0; k < NO_ADC_CH; k++) { //test = hex2Ascii(stream + k); HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart2, (uint8_t*)(&test[k]), sizeof(test[k])); //HAL_Delay(1); while(!ISR.UART_TxComplete); ISR.UART_TxComplete = F; }   void HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { ISR.UART_TxComplete = T; }

i had I2S 16bit out in slave mode running, but with 32bit data no success. always wrong byte order. so i try SAI , slave mode, 32bit data. but nothing coming from SAI....check with DSO.also DMA -> callbacks for half + full buffer never triggered.i dont know, what i am doing wrong, anyone can help ?i did (CubeIDE -> HAL ...) :init from HAL: MX_SAI1_Init();callbacks: HAL_SAI_RegisterCallback(&hsai_BlockA1, HAL_SAI_TX_HALFCOMPLETE_CB_ID, HAL_SAI_TxHalfCpltCallback); HAL_SAI_RegisterCallback(&hsai_BlockA1, HAL_SAI_TX_COMPLETE_CB_ID, HAL_SAI_TxCpltCallback);DMA init: fresult = HAL_DMA_Init(&hdma_sai1_a);start DMA: fresult = HAL_SAI_Transmit_DMA(&hsai_BlockA1, (uint8_t *)playbuf , (sizeof(playbuf))/2);i think, SAI should run now and via callbacks data send...but nothing happens.whats wrong , missing... ??

I'm using ST's X-CUBE-GNSS1 software pack but it only prints the minute part of my location coordinateCompared with the actual coordinate that shows the degree and seconds partHere's the software pack code that correspond with the above outputvoid GNSS_DATA_GetGPRMCInfo(GNSSParser_Data_t *pGNSSParser_Data) { PRINT_INFO("\r\n");   (void)snprintf((char *)msg, MSG_SZ, "UTC:\t\t\t\t[ %02d:%02d:%02d ]\n\r", pGNSSParser_Data->gprmc_data.utc.hh, pGNSSParser_Data->gprmc_data.utc.mm, pGNSSParser_Data->gprmc_data.utc.ss); PRINT_INFO((char *)msg);   (void)snprintf((char *)msg, MSG_SZ, "Status:\t\t\t\t[ %c ]\t\t", pGNSSParser_Data->gprmc_data.status); PRINT_INFO((char *)msg); if (pGNSSParser_Data->gprmc_data.status == (uint8_t)'A') { PRINT_INFO("-- Valid (reported in 2D and 3D fix conditions)\n\r"); } else if (pGNSSParser_Data->gprmc_data.status == (uint8_t)'V') { PRINT_INFO("-- Warning (reported in NO FIX conditions)\n\r"); } else { PRINT_INFO("-- U

Edit: HAL_CAN_Start() and configuring the CAN filter correctly fixed it. Hi, I am trying to read CAN messages sent by a device, but are not able to.Hardware setup should be correct, my setup works when testing with a program using mBed OS, messages are correctly received. Some notes:The messages are specified to be CAN2.0B, standard frame format, baud 250kbps, Sampling point 70%, SJW 2 Tq.CAN1 is used configured to PD0 and PD1.UART and GPIO works as expected.I used http://www.bittiming.can-wiki.info/ for bit timing, BTR register is set to 0x0149000b which I have verified in the debugger.HAL_CAN_GetRxFifoFillLevel() returns 0 and HAL_CAN_GetRxMessage returns no message. The clocks is configured to the default that CubeMX set when initializing default settings for peripherals, APB1 clock is set to 48 MHz, which is used as basis for the CAN bit timings.I have not configured any filter. Code(irrelevant code removed, msp at the end):#include "main.h" #include <stdio.h>   CAN_Hand

I am trying to communicate with SMBUS Master and Slave configuration on both STM32G070RB (NUCLEO Boards). So the master sends the address signal correctly to the slave. I can see the slave address on the address match code register on the slave. But the slave couldn't get the data from the master because the master is also stuck on the address stage because it couldn't get the ack signal from the slave. You can check the graph below. After sending the address SCL pin stays low until the timeout. So HAL_SMBUS_GetState is never returning HAL_SMBUS_STATE_READY. How can I solve this issue? Master Code: int main(void) { HAL_Init();   SystemClock_Config();   MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_I2C1_SMBUS_Init(); while (1) {   if (HAL_SMBUS_Master_Transmit_IT(&hsmbus1, (125U << 1), &txData, 1, SMBUS_FIRST_AND_LAST_FRAME_NO_PEC) != HAL_OK) {   HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LED_GREEN_GPIO_Port, LED_GREEN_Pin); }     while (HAL_SMBUS_GetState(&hsmbus1) !

When I try to transmit can CAN data it doesn't work inside the time-delay condition... but it works properly without that condition...Does anyone knows what's the issue?Regards

I am using STS35 DIS and Nucleo-WB55RG board and wants to know how to get temperature readings from the sensor. I am using STM32CubeIDE for programming. It would be helpful for my learning and proceed with my project. if you share some example coding for this.

Hello , Unable to figure out why On STM32F051 I2C bus fails time to time after sometimes working perfectly for 15 to 20 hours . We have 1k pull up resistors on SCL and SDA lines . The bus operates at 400 KHz . I2C bus fails time to time we are unable to figure out why . Is there any explanation for I2C bus failure and how to recover the I2C bus ?.Once the I2C bus on the STM hangs up after working perfectly for sometimes about 15 to 20 hours no other devices on the entire I2C bus can be access its like the I2C bus is locked up once we reset the STM32F051 every device starts to communicate else they are dead lock .

I'd like to generate an image that surrounds the simulator window. I've seen it done in a Tutorial (which I now can not find) so I know it can be done. The image I use always seems offset and doesn't align. I've looked in the documentation, but find nothing.What are the requirements for an image to be used in the simulator?

Hi.I want to show battery image in screen of STM32F746_DISCOVERY and change battery image by UART value that stm receives from an atmega. I have 4 images to show battery level and they must replace by each other according to Uart data values.I read "Loading Images at Runtime" in support.touchgfx.com but it confused me and I don't understand how to do it. please help me.
