I am using the following code to write data to flash memory:#include "stm32f4xx_hal.h"#include "stm32f4xx_hal_flash.h"#define DATA_SIZE 4int main(void){   uint32_t data[DATA_SIZE] = {0x12345678, 0x90ABCDEF, 0xDEADBEEF, 0xCAFEBABE};   uint32_t address = 0x08000040; // Starting address of sector 0   HAL_Init();   HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); // Unlock flash   // Erase sector 0   FLASH_Erase_Sector(FLASH_SECTOR_0, FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3);   // Write data to flash   for (int i = 0; i < DATA_SIZE; i++) {       if (HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_WORD, address, data[i]) != HAL_OK) {           // Handle write error       }       address += sizeof(data[i]);   }   HAL_FLASH_Lock(); // Lock fla

I have a complex GUI that has many custom containers displaying information. This information shall be updated at specific perios to avoid confusing the end user. For example the voltage shall be updated every second while the frequency shall be updated every 200msCurrently my custom containers have the following code which updates the values every 16ms and depends on the refresh rate of the screen.void MyCustomContainer::initialize() { MyCustomContainer::initialize(); /* Register tick functions */ Application::getInstance()->registerTimerWidget(this); }   void MyCustomContainer::handleTickEvent(void) { /* ... get value () */ /*... update text gui() */ }I could add to every widged something in the lines of (pseudo code):void MyCustomContainer::handleTickEvent(void) { static uint8_t counter = 0; if (counter >= SOME_VALUE { /* ... get value () */ /*... update text gui() */ counter =0; } else { counter ++; } }...or make the parent widget in charge of handling the u

Hello, I am trying to create a simple openthread project on my NUCLEO-WB55RG. There is no custom code in this project; just the code generated from the CubeMX ioc file attached.By all means, I think that I have all the necessary settings for this project selected in the IOC file (attached), but "SHCI_USER_EVT_PROC" task never finishes, and instead hangs on SHCI_C2_Thread_Init(). Am I doing something wrong?

I can make the RTC wakeup work in Standby mode, but not STOP2 mode.

When i init UCPD ,the function USBPD_CAD_Init returns NO OK,then i try to find what is CAD,could you tell me?thanks

I generated my code by stm32cubemx,version6.1.2， and use ucpd2 as sink&dead battery,. But got USBPD_ERROR in USBPD_DPM_InitCore after execute " CHECK_PE_FUNCTION_CALL(USBPD_PE_Init(USBPD_PORT_0, (USBPD_SettingsTypeDef *)&DPM_Settings[USBPD_PORT_0], &DPM_Params[USBPD_PORT_0], &dpmCallbacks));"Changing stack size is useless；any other solution？thanks.

We use dev. kit: ANT7-T-ST25DV64KC with app version: ST25NFCTap version V3.7.0 / ST25SDK: 1.10.0 public version. Q: I try to write binary data from file to it. I succeed in sending 4096 bytes. But when I try to send larger files it fails (tried 8192 bytes) with the error message:Error while writing data:com.st.st25sdk.STException: Error BAD_PARAMETERQ: Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Greetings,in the video STM32MP1 workshop - 9 OpenSTLinux BSP pin Muxing - STM32CubeMX lab after modifying the DK2_TIMER_A7 project in the mx cube directly open the project in workbench from generate code, open the file.On my pc this doesn't happen, this file opens:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><workspace>  <project>   <path>$WS_DIR$\DK2_TIMER_A7.ewp</path>  </project>  <batchBuild /></workspace>And if I try to open the project directly from workbench I can't open it.When I open workbench it tries to install GCC GNU COMPILER but failsI attach some screenshots

I need to drive a stepper motor with an X-NUCLEO-IHM02A1 and the related expension package X-CUBE-SPN2 is only compatible with STM32-Nucleo-F072RB, STM32-Nucleo-F302R8 and STM32-Nucleo-F401RE. The problem is that i only have (and need to use) a STM32-Nucleo-L010RB board and i use STM32CubeIDE to develop my application. So, is the X-CUBE-SPN2 package really not compatible with my board or it is only the exemples that have been developped for the 3 specific boards mantionned ? I am very new to these and i don't know how i could set my own exemple to work on my STM32-Nucleo-L010RB board. So if you have relevant links, it would be much appreciated.

Hi there. Before attempting any password locking on my STM32575, I read the password lock location and it returned all zeroes like soReading 32-bit memory content Size     : 4 Bytes Address:   : 0x400220200x40022020 : 00000000After setting the PW, it now returns non zero like soReading 32-bit memory content Size     : 4 Bytes Address:   : 0x400220200x40022020 : 000C0000I've tried disabling the PW, writing to all zeroes and writing it to all FFs, but I can't get back to the point where all zeroes are returned. Can you advise how to get to that state?thanks in advancePaul

Hi fellas,We are planning for LoRa based FUOTA updates using STM32 MCUs. The LoRa Transceiver we are planning to use is SX1302. In I-CUBE-LRWAN blog, they told its meant for STM32L0/1/4 series alone. Can we use some other series like STM32G0 series, for cost reasons? If not, what is the actual reason for it? As STM32G0 also has SPI interface, which can be interfaced to our Transceiver. Also, as another hiccup, SX1302 has only HAL support, which works in Linux based Processor and no implementation idea has been given in terms of Controller? Any suggestions regarding that?

I recently upgraded from StM32CubeMX 6.6.1 to 6.8.0. The coloring of the TABS in Configuration are switched from darkblue and lightblue to something gray( hard to see).Is there a way to change it back?

I use H743I Eval2 board , able to build application with TouchGFX to display data. I am trying to activate ETH with lwip middleware with CubeIDE. have enable CORTEX_M7 (Icache,Dcache) but can not select any mode (MII, RMII) in ETH, (a forbidden mark is showing) ,as result, lwip is also unable to select. please advice, thanks

Hello, I am using an STM32F427ZIT6 on a custom board for my project and it was working perfectly until now. I was able to programming it with an ST-Link V2 + ST-Link Utility as expected.I was working on adding DMA to my code but one day my chip stopped working and I was unable to flash code in it. In fact, I could flash data to the chip but it was flashing it in reverse order MSB LSB instead of LSB MSB.I tried updating and changing my ST-Link V2. I also tried using another similar board but I did not encounter the same problem. However, I did had strange behavior when flashing my other board (doesn't boot at start address when after power cycle). Here is the error message from St-Link Utility (Programming error @ 0x08000000!) :Here is the error message from STM32CubeProgrammer (Error: Data mismatch found at address 0x08000000 (byte = 0x8D instead of 0x00)) :Here is the difference between the data flashed in the chip and the data from the binary file I tried to flashed. As you can s

Hi,I had a doubt regarding the timer interrupt stop function.if(isOpen_Unload == 1){  HAL_NVIC_DisableIRQ(EXTI15_10_IRQn);  HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(EXTI9_5_IRQn);  Start_Motor(1);  HAL_Delay(5000);  HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(EXTI15_10_IRQn);  HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim3);  time_up = 0;  close_tray_unloading(); }void close_tray_unloading(){ curr = 0; while(!time_up){  curr = final_load();  if(curr < initial_weight){   HAL_TIM_Base_Stop_IT(&htim3);   if(isClose_Unload == 1){       isClose = 1;      }   break;  } }}Now in the above code as you can see I have started the timer interrupt after motor starts running and it is set to 15 secs. But I want to stop the timer interrupt when my current weight < initial weight as you can see in the condition but even though my current weight < initial w

I need an active high UART signal. Yes, the STM8S UART2_TX signal is active, but for hardware reasons I must invert the active low PCB output (UART2_TX). An easy solution would be a programmable STM8S feature to invert the signal. The reference manual does not list that option. Is that correct? Thank you for your response.

I found the pin of PG8 on the GPIO pin map on the board. So I connected to PG8 and GND to connect with oscilloscope. In the picture, the blue line is the oscilloscope's GND port.I connected the board and the oscilloscope like the picture above. And I entered the command to output the PPS signal, but the waveform is not displayed.I looked up various answers and followed the answers such as PTP activation command and adding PG8 to AF11.What am I doing wrong? For your information, I used the following image when I uploaded the image.en.FLASH-stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.11.23\stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.11.23\images\stm32mp1\flashlayout_st-image-weston\optee FlashLayout_emmc_stm32mp157d-ev1-optee.tsv

On the NUCLEO-G474RE board I have tested the QSPI interface with a flash memory. The interface seems to work properly but the read transfer in quad mode is slower than expected. To analyze the issue I have reduced my test program to two calls: HAL_QSPI_Command and HAL_QSPI_Receive. There are no devices connected to the QSPI interface. I try to read 32 bytes, the CPU clock is set to 170MHz and the QSPI is working with 10MHz. On the oscilloscope I can observe the following behavior (yellow: QSPI_NCS, blue: QSPI_CLK):There are 3 breaks in the clock generation: A, B and C (2 + 8 + 8 clocks). In the phases (1), (2), (3) and (4) the data will be transfered:(1): 46 clocks = 8 (instruction) + 38 (19 data bytes)(2): 8 clocks (4 data bytes)(3): 8 clocks (4 data bytes)(4): 10 clocks (5 data bytes)The total number of transfered bytes (32) is correct. What is the reason for the breaks in the clock generation? My test program has been generated with STM32CubeMX 6.6.0 / STM32Cube FW_G4 V1.5.2. As

According to the STM32U585 documentation, there is supposed to be a SP1 clock mux selection register, but none is described in the latest programming manual.Does anyone have any idea on what bits I need to set in which register to select the MSIK clock for the SPI1 peripheral?

I've run into an issue with the section of the UserApp linker script which ensures that the binary size is a multiple of 16 bytes:.align16 : { . = . + 1; /* _edata=. is aligned on 8 bytes so could be aligned on 16 bytes: add 1 byte gap */ . = ALIGN(16) - 1; /* increment the location counter until next 16 bytes aligned address (-1 byte) */ BYTE(0); /* allocate 1 byte (value is 0) to be a multiple of 16 bytes */ } > APPLI_region_ROMThis seems to fail for some binary sizes, where the following error is given:ld.exe:STM32WB5MMGHX_FLASH.ld:139 cannot move location counter backwards (from 0000000008032340 to 000000000803233f)If I change the size of the binary by adding some other command, the error goes away. I believe what's happening here is this:For a binary size of 0x3233f bytes, the first line advances the location counter to 0x32340.The second line rounds this to 0x32340, since it's already a multiple of 16 bytes, but then subtracts 1 byte, so it's attempting to set the location
