Hello guys,I have adapted this example from repository to work with a STM32L071CB:STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.12.2\Projects\NUCLEO-L073RZ\Examples_LL\ADC\ADC_SingleConversion_TriggerSW_DMAIt works fine until I want to add RTC and select LSE as RTC clock source.If I select LSI as clock source for RTC, it works fine.I have a loop showing the converted data every second, but when selected LSE as clock source for RTC, it does not show any results.I think it makes not sense to use LSI as clock source for RTC, so I am stuck in this point.Any idea on what might be the problem?

Hi,So I want to have a timer interrupt of 15 seconds. So I calculated the values of pre scalar and counter accordingly:Prescalar - 18356Counter - 65347I just wanted to ask if I set such values. Will it work? Cause I tried the same using an LED Toggle program but the LED didn't toggle. Also PS I'm using 3 timers and 2 External interrupts so I wonder if all collide and thats's why maybe it doesn't work?Thanks!

I want to be able to implement different projects same way as implemented from Atmega328 of Arduino. So i want to move from Arduino to STM32 for better performance and technology.

I'm trying to load some text data into a scroll list. Those texts are generated at runtime. I want to show them as list items. Also, the number of elements is not fixed. No sharply defined upper limit and lower limit for the number of elements.

Hi all,I am using a STM32H7 and I implemented a composite usb device (CDC + AUDIO recording) using IAD interface descriptor.I can successfully configure the audio interface as type I PCM (I tested both 16 and 32 bit), but if I try to configure the audio as type I IEEE_FLOAT windows does not recognize the microphone (the device is still present in device manager under 'sound devices', but there is no input device under 'Audio inputs and outputs'.I just changed the wFormatTag field of the descriptor, leaving the bSubFrameSize=4 and bBitResolution=32.Have I to change something else?Thank you in advance,regardsArianna

I am using the STM32L433RBT6 for some uart communication project.My pcb only have STM32L433RBT6, LDO, LED, UART related circuit.I am also using the Nucleo-L433RC-P (STM32L433RCT6 )for the development.The Nucleo-L433RC is working fine for the LED4 and uart.However, STM32L433RBT6 did not work on my pcb.Therefore, I have create a simple LED switching program to test both hardware.Only enable some GPIO and the Timebase Source set as TIM1 or TIM6 (Both tested and result are the same)CODE:int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ __disable_irq(); /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured pe

Hello, community.So, we are using STM32F753 and activated the LWIP library from the CubeMx.We use a UDP socket to send strings (used as commands for our own made CLI protocol).When reading the Rx buffer in the STM, we see that the strings are sometimes received wrong.For example, we send the following strings over the UDP (the content itself is not important):"ver 4d" - Received correctly in the Rx buffer"pwmgen 100 ef" - Received as "pwer" (some kind of a mix with the previous packet)This mix causes misreading of the string and therefore the CLI protocol not working.We hope to find some direction to the solution.If any more details are needed, I'll be happy to provide them. Thanks,Raz

Hello,Here's the context of my issue.I'm using buildroot 2022.11 to build a rootfs for a custom stm32mp157 board using a LCD display;the Linux kernel is 5.10.116 (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/linux/tree/v5.10-stm32mp);the GUI app is built using the Qt5.15 QML framework.After the buildroot team upgraded the gcnano binaries package to v6.4.7 I'm facing flickering issues with the display. To figure out if the gcnano binaries are the root cause, I manually downgraded the gcnano to v6.4.3 in which the flickering issue is not present.I can confirm that the same rootfs/kernel with the gcnano binaries 6.4.3 has no flickering issue.Find attached to this post two videos :one showing that everything works fine with gcnano 6.4.3;one showing the flickering issue with gcnano 6.4.7.The display is mandatory for our product and we can not accept flickering issues like this one.How can we fix this issue ?Let me know if you need more traces or tests.Best RegardsAlexandre Gambier

Hello,I am trying to build a NFC project that receives 3 different ADC data from the MCU side (stm32l031k5) to the mobile phone.However, there is a critical problem that:NFC reading is too slow. There is a term like few seconds to read new text tag.The values for the ADCs are not renewed and the text tag stays same. (not always but most time, it happens)I am sharing my NFC code here.void MX_NFC7_NDEF_URI_Process(void) { char s1[200];  sprintf(s1, "%d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d", vol1[0], vol2[0], vol3[0], vol1[1], vol2[1], vol3[1], vol1[2], vol2[2], vol3[2], vol1[3], vol2[3], vol3[3], vol1[4], vol2[4], vol3[4]); /* Init ST25DVXXKC driver */ while (NFC07A1_NFCTAG_Init(NFC07A1_NFCTAG_INSTANCE) != NFCTAG_OK); /* Reset Mailbox enable to allow write to EEPROM */ NFC07A1_NFCTAG_ResetMBEN_Dyn(NFC07A1_NFCTAG_INSTANCE); NfcTag_SelectProtocol(NFCTAG_TYPE5); /* Check if no NDEF detected, init mem in Tag Type 5 */ if (NfcType5_NDEFDetection() != NDEF_OK) { CCFileStruct.MagicNu

Hello Support TeamI am working on a single-phase EV charging product. and I have seen a certain metering solution on the STM website.For Communication and Application purposes, we selected the below MCU1. STM32G484QET62. STM32G473VET6 3. STM32G491RET6I have some queries regarding the Complaint and certification related below I mentioned.1. I refer to this document ("x-cube-classb.pdf"). STM32G491RET6 does have not a Class B lib. am I right?2. STM32G473VET6 and STM32G484QET6 have HAL Class B libraries so In STM IDE how to use this lib?3. Is it certified IEC 60730 and UL1998 Safety Standard Compliance?if the selected MCU part is not certified certain certification so can you suggest me another STM solutionThanksHiren R. Thumar

Hi,After compiling my project I noticed that I have the flash on my H743 is almost full. When I checked the Memory Details under the Build Analyser I found that all of my screen functions repeated two times. The attached sreenshot shows more clearly what I mean. Could anyone tell if it is a necessity for some reason or am I doing something wrong? Many thanks,Namik

I have been trying to read a memory area as follows on windows power shell:.\STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD -r8 0x08080000 8 -r8 0x08080C00 8but that triggers a reset of the device. I do not want a device reset, I just want to read the memory as specified. How to do that?

Hi! I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question and it may seem stupid but I am a beginner and have been trying to resolve this for one day.I am receiving one byte of data through UART to Rxdata, I want to copy this one byte to a 10 bytes buffer. I used this function:uint8_t Rxdata[1];uint8_t* Buffer[10];int head=0;memcpy(Buffer[head],Rxdata,1);head++;If someone can help me with this I would be grateful. And if you have also good explanation of variable types (It is still not very clear in my head)Thank you!

Hi,I'm running STM32Cube 1.11.2 under Ubuntu 22.04While I can compile the TCP_Echo_Client_PPP example with no issue, I can't do the same with TCP_Echo_Client.The compilation issue is the tx_thread_schedule.s has undefined references to _tx_thread_secure_stack_context_save, _tx_thread_secure_stack_context_restore, _tx_thread_secure_mode_stack_allocate, _tx_thread_secure_mode_stack_free and _tx_thread_secure_mode_stack_initializeThis issue is systematic, including trying with a fresh new workspace.Thank you for your help,Guillaume

Hi, I am trying to get DAC work on Nucleo-L432KC board, DAC 1 is activated, output on Pin PA4, normal mode, output buffer enabled, software trigger, no wave generation, and LL driver. I use LL_DAC_ConvertData12RightAligned or WRITE_REG(DACx->DHR12R1, dac_data) to write the dac output data with the voltages measured on PA4:dac_data=0, VPA4=0.041V dac_data=409, VPA4=2.992V dac_data=819, VPA4=2.659V dac_data=1228, VPA4=2.328V dac_data=1638, VPA4=1.996V dac_data=2047, VPA4=1.664V dac_data=2457, VPA4=1.332V dac_data=2866, VPA4=1.000V dac_data=3276, VPA4=0.668V dac_data=3685, VPA4=0.336V dac_data=4095, VPA4=0.041V dac_data=0,, VPA4=0.041VVREF = VDDA = 3.323V. The data is 1/10th incremental from 0 to VDDA. I expected to see same increment on output voltage. However, it is backward from near VDDA (actually 2.992V, 9/10 of VDDA) to 0V. The output is reversed. It is also weird that the output is 0.041V when dac_data is 0 (if the dac is reversed, I expected to see near VDDA when dac_data=0).

Hi,I'm wondering whether I'm always getting into the HAL layer when configuring a project using the CubeMX configurator in STM32CubeIDE? Is it configurable? How to I get rid of the HAL layer while still being able to use the configurator? Where is the decision taken?EDIT: found it. was up to delete my question but I'll leave the answer here anyway.In the project manager tab one can configure whether one wishes to generate HAL or LL code.

The following features require in the microcontroller Flash memory size 4k maxData RAM size 256 bytesEEPROM size 64 bytesTwo 16-bits timersI2C protocol supported External clock supported20 GPIOIf third timer can operate on 32 768 KHz External crystal then it is more preferablewhich have this featureno issue with SOP OR TSSOP 28 etc

We are working with an STM32L476JGY6TR with a project generated through cube, and we have sometimes seen a sporadic issue with the LSCOEN bit being set in the RCC->BDCR register. This causes the LSE clock to be output on PA2 where we are using the UART.We have mitigated the problem by explicitly setting the BDCR register to all zero before calling SystemClock_Config() and disabling access to the backup domain. However, we do not know exactly why this happened and whether it may happen during runtime. So far we've seen the problem at boot-up (reports from different developers are not clear on if it is only at boot-up or if it also occurred runtime).We never set the LSCOEN bit on purpose at any point in our program. We want to be sure that it doesn't happen again during runtime. Any help and/or tips is greatly appreciated.
