I working on a STM32L462 project, which needs to invoke the bootloader from the user program. I don't have access to the Boot0 pin. I came across two methods of doing the same but not sure which one should i employ for clean transition.Method 1: - Set the system memory address in a pointer and set the main stack pointer after which invoke the system memory address.Method 2: Hardware manual says about writing the option bytes of FLASH_OPTR register to ignore the boot pin ( setting nSWBOOT0 to 0) and setting the nBOOT0(0)and nBOOT1(1) option bytes. How this two methods are different and which one to employ for a clean transition?

I want to know maximun number of pairing device information can the STM32WB save.Is regard to device's flash capacity?

hello it's me againI am a beginner and I have a question about the RTC, what is it ? it is an alarm something on the stm32? thank you.

Hi,I'm implementing ADC on a STM32F469HI board (in particular LIZARD board from ACTRON).I alreay implemented SPI comunication and UART (this one with DMA).Now the focus is to get ADC Reading implemented with DMA also.i set the timer 8 to trigger the ADC.I get no error from initialization of the pheriperals.I created a one element array to feed to the ADC so every time this get writed i assumed the callback from the conversion complete treats the data and so on like this. The problem is i get no callback, i put a led to see if the callback gets executed.the init code is as follows:ADC initvoid SIN_ADC1_Init() {   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 1 */   /** Configure the global features of the ADC (Clock, Resolution, Data Alignment and number of conversion) */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = AD

in usb library in the file generated by STM32CubeMx for the STM32G0B1 * @file          : Target/usbd_conf.c * @version       : v3.0_Cube * @brief         : This file implements the board support package for the USB device libraryin function void HAL_PCD_ResetCallback(PCD_HandleTypeDef *hpcd)line 205 you have the test  if (( hpcd->Init.speed != USB_DRD_SPEED_FS) ) || (hpcd->Init.speed != USB_DRD_SPEED_LS)) {   Error_Handler(); }this is obviously always true, and you always go to Error_HandlerI modified the test  if (( hpcd->Init.speed != USB_DRD_SPEED_FS) )) {   Error_Handler(); }now it's running.Please can you check your library and give me a better solution, I don't like to modify manufacturer library.

Is it possible to create a project in CubeMX for a concurrent BLE & Thread application for the STM32WB55?My attempts so far only allow for either a BLE or a Thread project (not both together). Thanks

I tried to flash Zephyr Firmware by DFU and I the firmware flashed as I expected.In the other hand, I tried flashing firmware by STLINK-V3MINI something raise an error.This is the contents of board.cmake file:# west flash -r openocd   # west flash -r dfu-util   board_runner_args(dfu-util "--pid=0483:df11" "--alt=0" "--dfuse")   board_runner_args(jlink "--device=STM32L4R9ZIJ6" "--speed=4000")   board_runner_args(pyocd "--target=STM32L4")   board_runner_args(stm32cubeprogrammer "--port=swd" "--reset-mode=hw")   include(${ZEPHYR_BASE}/boards/common/jlink.board.cmake)   include(${ZEPHYR_BASE}/boards/common/openocd.board.cmake)   include(${ZEPHYR_BASE}/boards/common/pyocd.board.cmake)   include(${ZEPHYR_BASE}/boards/common/dfu-util.board.cmake)Also, this is the contents of openocd.cfg file:# source [find interface/stlink.cfg]   source [find interface/stlink-dap.cfg]   set WORKAREASIZE 0x8000   # transport select hla_swd   # Tr

When I create a new project using STM32CubeMX with my board (NUCLEO-WL55JC1), neither defines for PIN labels will be generated in main.h nor is there a BSP folder in the Drivers folder with a xxxnucleo.h containing definitions as I have seen in the examples.   I have tried with another board configuration (NUCLEO-C031C6) where label defines were populated in main.h as expected....

I use an array, for example, peakindex[6]. The biulder shows no errors. When debugging and looking for the values in the Expressions window the following error messages occur:Multiple errors reported.1) Failed to execute MI command:-var-create - * peakindexError message from debugger back end:-var-create: unable to create variable object2) Unable to create variable object3) Failed to execute MI command:-data-evaluate-expression peakindexError message from debugger back end:No symbol "peakindex" in current context.4) Failed to execute MI command:-var-create - * peakindexError message from debugger back end:-var-create: unable to create variable objectI appreciate any help.RegardsUlrich

I bought the STM32U5A9J-DK board. I want to start digging it out by modifying the default OOB example code. But I can't find the OOB code even the binary. It would be appreciated if to provide the OOB code or binary.

Currently in our app, we are able to read 64 EEPROM memory from ST25DV64k using extendedReadMultipleBlocks command. But we would need to know the procedure to read the Mailbox memory of 256 bytes to get the active data from NFC Mailbox memory. Could you please help with the commands for the same and also if you can show us an iOS example code for the same it will be very helpful?

I have been using STM32CubeIDE for the last couple of years. Recently after getting a low space warning in C drive found that  STM32CubeIDE is taking over 32GB of space in C drive. There I found that some libraries are there with previous versions. Also their zip formats. My question is, is there any problem if I remove the older versions there? Or is there any way to clean older files that are not necessary?

Hi,I'm using Nucleo-l476RG and try to get an Interrupt with RTC accuarcy every second. My plan is to use the RTC WakeUp in Internal WakeUp mode with "RTC wake-up interrupt through EXTI line 20"However the problem is that the interrupt is fireing only once and then the WUTF in the RTC_ISR cannot be reset.I'm using the cubemx generated code and implement the interrupt with the following code:void HAL_RTCEx_WakeUpTimerEventCallback(RTC_HandleTypeDef *hrtc) { HAL_Delay(1); }and activate the time with the following:HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT(&hrtc, 10, RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_CK_SPRE_16BITS);What am I missing?Regards

I am attempting to configure the UART2 peripheral of the STM8S105C4 MCU with an even parity control using this development environment: ST Visual Develop, ST Visual Programmer, STM8 Cosmic compiler, Library: STM8 Standard Peripheral Library (SPL).Problem: No parity bit generated, as shown by the Logic8 logic analyzer. See the below screenshot: the parity bit is configured but is missing in the signal. Question: why is the Parity Control not working? The following SPL function UART_Config() should configure one even parity bit per byte.Thank you!static void UART_Config(void) { /* UART2 configured as follow: - BaudRate = 38400 - Word Length = 8 Bits - Two Stop Bit - One parity bit (even) - Receive and transmit enabled */ UART2_DeInit(); UART2_Init((uint32_t) 38400, UART2_WORDLENGTH_8D, UART2_STOPBITS_2, UART2_PARITY_EVEN, UART2_SYNCMODE_CLOCK_DISABLE, UART2_MODE_TXRX_ENABLE);   /* UART2: Disable the Receive interrupt: */ /* RXNE - Received data ready to be read */ /* O

Hi I'm trying to write text via NDEF library to be available to read from EEPROM by phone nfc aplication. Also I want to read text send by phone directly to EEPROM. I tried to change NDEF_URI example method to implement NDEF_WriteText and NDEF_ReadText method and write some text into ST25DV EEPROM and read from but honestly I have no idea what's wrong with my conception. Could you show me some code where you are using these methods?

Hello dear friends,It's been a week since I worked on the CAN transceiver and couldn't make it work. I have set up the chip rcc, bit rate, and receive interrupt of CAN, set the receive filter, and the receiver id in transmission, with no success. I have used only a single board and connected Tx to Rx (PB8 PB9) through a jumper. I have checked that there is some signal on the Tx line with a voltmeter(Sadly I have no oscilloscope now to check the absolute signals.)What I am looking for is that I can get the receive interrupt.I am not going to use the software loop-back mood since I'm not going to use simulation. The code is attached. Help me what had make it not

Hello, I am working on a project that integrates the ST25DV64KC NFC chip and I think that there is a bug in ST25DVxxKC_ReadMemSize function. I added the driver from the STM32CubeMX X-CUBE-NFC7 pack. I also found a GitHub repository with this pack but it is empty. How can I report a bug?The mentioned function should compute the size of the EEPROM memory but the condition on line 1252 fails, so the size is not computed and the NFCTAG_OK is returned. When the inequality operator is inverted the function works as expected. Can you point me to the bug tracker or the correct repository? Thanks.Best regards,Tomas

I have a TouchGFX project with some buttons used for navigating a menu. The problem is that for some reason every couple of touches is registered as a double click. So I click the touch button once, but the virtual function called by the click event is called twice. Any way to decrease the sensitivity?I can do this in the source code, but wondering if there is a way directly in TouchGFX designer.

Hello,I am currently testing my custom board that utilizes the STM32H7B3IIT6 MCU. Since it is a custom board, I generated the code via CubeMX with the TouchGFX 4.20.0 software package. When I try to run the firmware, I noticed that I never entered the model::tick() function in the Model.cpp function. I ran the debugger and, in the taskEntry code, I have a function OSWrappers::waitForVSync() and the firmware stays in that function. It never gets past there. This function exists in my "custom board" bring up where I used the STM32H7B3I-EVAL evaluation board and it does not get stuck in it. I acknowledge that TouchGFX know the evaluation board's pinout and specific configuration. My custom board cannot use that, so I copied the files from the evaluation board's working code and pasted them into my custom board project. I have attached my .ioc file for reference, along with the snippet of my taskEntry code.void TouchGFXHAL::taskEntry() { enableLCDControllerInterrupt(); enableInterrupts()

In my organization we have developed a few docker images so that any developer is able to quickly get a working development environment having all the needed tools (e.g. compiler, debugger, static analysis tools, utilities, programmers, etc.)A very useful tool to have is the Cube Programmer, especially the cli version, to have the official application to program microcontrollers. However at the moment it is not easy to include it inside a dockerfile, because I could find no permanent link for download, and manual operations are required to download it and install it, defeating the purpose of a ready to go environment which is what we want to obtain. At the moment we've been using other programmers (e.g. pyocd or texane/st-link) but for some specific things (e.g. unlocking, option bytes) the cube programmer is more reliable and would be nice to have.So my question is, is there a way to have a permanent link for downloading the cube programmer, so that it can be easily downloaded and insta

Hello everyone,I'm working on a STM32L4 project which embeds a QSPI external Flash Memory (not yet sourced but doesn't matter). This QSPI Flash Memory would be splitted into 2 parts, one for TouchGFX Images and one for 10MB Filesystem. This FS will have some configurations files and above all a 300kB DataLog file updated each second. The aim is that this DataLog would be easily exported to a PC by USB.So this is how the stage is set. The DataLog file will be updated more than 500 000 times per year, so I obviously have to implement a wear leveling algorithm.I've been thinking for LittleFS rathan than FatFS for his wear leveling feature and then use this FS as a USB MSC. Will these files be readable/writable by a PC ?Are my ideas faisible ? If not, would you have some recommendations ?I hope that everythings's clear, Many thanks for being interested to my demand,Maël

Good day, Support TeamWe chose the STM32G484QET6 for our product development, and I have a question about programming in production time that I've listed below. In production, Can we dump the hex file into the controller(STM32G484QET6) via UART or SPI or Modbus?if have any documents regarding this so please provide them to usThanksHiren R. I have created a project in IAR Embedded Workbench and it is working alright but now due to some reasons I have converted and debugging the same project with same buffer values in STM32cubeide but in this compiler it is showing "region RAM overflowed by 7256 bytes" and also i have modified the .ld file according to the .icf file of IAR embedded workbench.I have attached the both files. Please help me !!!
