I am trying understand the sampling rate of lis3mdl on the Z axis. The datasheet has only stated on setting the ODR of X and Y but not Z. Only the performance of Z can be set. During testing, I have noticed that the Z axis sampling rate is slower than X and Y. Could you provide more details regarding Z axis sampling frequency?

Dear Sir,In STM32G070 series, the code shows the speed setting for GPIO output,If my GPIO is setting for input to receive external interrupt, does the speed setting also apply for GPIO input mode?Thanks/** @defgroup GPIO_speed GPIO speed * @brief GPIO Output Maximum frequency * @{ */ #define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW (0x00000000u) /*!< Low speed */ #define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_MEDIUM (0x00000001u) /*!< Medium speed */ #define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH (0x00000002u) /*!< High speed */ #define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_VERY_HIGH (0x00000003u) /*!< Very high speed */

Hello,I followed all instructions and created new example project in CubeMX for CubeIDE. Then I used the vsCode extention to import an existing project with the .cproject file. How should you now open the linked source files to be able to edit the files? Since the .cproject file is in the "STM32CubeIDE" Folder and the Src files are located in the "Src" folder it is not opened by by vsCode. Are you suposed to change the projects folder structure, or is there an other way, to keep the structure as it is intended by STM?

Hi, When I insert a breakpoint or pause the debugger, the debugger first stops at a point where there was probably an ISR, showing the error message in the figure below, and I need to press F5 again so that the degugger goes to the breakpoint that I inserted.

I am prototyping an application on a Nucleo H7 board and I would like to use 50 MHz SPI master for performance reasons. At lower speeds (25 MHz, for example) I am able to generate a fairly clean SPI Mclk that passes requirements, however at 50 MHz I end up with a clock signal that very much resembles a sine wave and does not meet setup / hold requirements.I have tried various configurations of the SPI peripherals (e.g., 100 MHz master clock /2 divider, 200 MHz master clock /4 divider), various master clock sources, etc. At this point I am fairly sure that the problem I am observing is related to the GPIO characteristics of the Mclk pin.Referencing "Table 68. Output timing characteristics" of the datasheet "Output high to low level fall time and output low to high level rise time" =~ 5ns (depends on load capacitance) @ very fast drive speed, I would expect to see a better signal here, one that reaches 3.3V (or 1.8V - I tested both!) and levels off for some time before falling edge @ 50 M

i have a textArea called endPoint_Value which i would like to write both text from the TypeText ids using the setTypedText, but i also on different occations need to use the Unicode::snprintf & Unicode::snprintFloatThe textArea has a wildcard and buffer applied to in in TouchGFX DesignerUnicode::snprintf ( endPoint_ValueBuffer, ENDPOINT_VALUE_SIZE, "%d", *( menu_ActiveEndPoint->Value_u8 ) );     Unicode::snprintfFloat ( endPoint_ValueBuffer, ENDPOINT_VALUE_SIZE, "%02.1f", *( menu_ActiveEndPoint->Value_f ) );     endPoint_Value.setTypedText ( TypedText ( T_MNUDEVICE_CONFIG ) );each of these line work perfectly and the text changes as expected. However, as soon as i use the "setTypedText" the "snprintf" no longer seems to work on the textArea.I do use the endPoint_Value.invalidate (); It seems the textArea is no longer attached to the wildcard or something like that. i've tried the endPoint_Value.setWildcard (endPoint_ValueBuffer);, but that hasn't helped.Any

Dear ST,I am using the ISM330DLC gyro and accelerometer,In the electrical connection mode 1 I have a pin called VDDIO.In my application I connected this pin to 3V but, I don't have any idea what is the use of this pin?Thank you for explaining

We tried the simplest and the most basic LL driver based App, LED blinking, on Nucleo boards:int main(void) { LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SYSCFG); LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_PWR); NVIC_SetPriorityGrouping(NVIC_PRIORITYGROUP_4); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART2_UART_Init(); while (1) { LL_GPIO_TogglePin(LD3_GPIO_Port, LD3_Pin); LL_mDelay(1000); } }Comments and empty lines are removed. We just added two lines of code in the while loop. Everything else is from MX. (LED pin changes with different Nucleo boards).Well, it doesn't work. It failed on Nucleo-L432KC and Nucleo-L452RE. Both are L4 MCU so they use the same FW and library. It can't pass through the system clock configuration. The MCO output of the internal PLL has no life at all. However, it works on Nucleo-WB55RG. The LED is blinking! Is there anything I missed in LL based programming? or is there anything to fix for L4 firmware and library? Thanks. -wq

Hello, i'm using an STM32H7 but unfortunately for a known bug of the firmware package i'm not able to select the ADC prescaler. Uprading to a newer firmware package is not considered. At the moment i resolved applying a prescaler with the linehadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV1;The problem is that this only works with the synchronous clock, if i try the asynchronous clock the ADC doesn't work, like if the clock is not enabled. My idea is that i have to enable PLL2P because is disabled, how can i do it with code since i'm not able to manage it througth cube ide?Thank you in advice

Hello all, I am currently working on a project with the STM32H743VIHX and I have been having some issues getting SPI communication with an external DAC working. The test I have built is supposed to transmit 24bits of data to the external DAC and record the output on one of the STM32's ADC's. I have a code snippet below but the full project is zipped for further detail:typedef struct __attribute__((__packed__)) DACDataPacket { unsigned int bit23 :1; unsigned int bit22 :1; unsigned int command :3; unsigned int address :3; unsigned int dataUpperHalf :8; unsigned int dataLowerHalf :8; }DACDataPacket;   #define COMMAND 0b000 #define ADDRESSB 0b001 #define MAXOUTPUT 0x00   DACDataPacket MyPacket;   MyPacket.command = COMMAND; MyPacket.address = ADDRESSB; MyPacket.dataUpperHalf = MAXOUTPUT; MyPacket.dataLowerHalf = MAXOUTPUT;   uint8_t spiSendBuff[3];     spiSendBuff[0] = (MyPacket.address) | (MyPacket.command << 3); spiSendBuff[1]

I installed the latest TouchGFX release 4.21.3 for my new project. Separately I now opened the project in the latest Cube Version 6.8.0. and I get a message that tells me that the CMSIS-Pack for my TouchGFX project is unknown.Where can I get the new corresponding release? The reason I opened the CubeMX editor was, that I get a compiler error which is create for the touch HAL file PaintRGB565Impl.h:compiling TouchGFXGeneratedHAL.cpp...../middlewares/st/touchgfx/framework/include/touchgfx/hal/PaintRGB565Impl.hpp(156): error: #20: identifier "blendL8CLUT" is undefined             const uint8_t* src = &blendL8CLUT[*bitmapPointer++ * 3];../middlewares/st/touchgfx/framework/include/touchgfx/hal/PaintRGB565Impl.hpp(168): error: #20: identifier "blendL8CLUT" is undefined             const uint8_t* src = &blendL8CLUT[*bitmapPointer++ * 3];../middlewa

Hi,I'm using STM32CubeProgrammer CLI (2.13.0).I'm trying to write a file to my device using this command :"C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\bin\STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe" -C port=SWD mode=UR -vb 1 -e all -w "%firmware%" 0x08020000 -V -w "%bootloader%" 0x08000000 -VI get this error :Warning: Wrong file path to be downloaded: "g:\.shortcut-targets-by-id\***\yyy" Error: The download command you trying to perform (-w "g:\.shortcut-targets-by-id\***\yyy" "firmwares\***\yyyy\zzz\firmware.hex" 0x08000000) is missing the filePath to be loaded or it has a wrong extension, please note that the supported extension are .bin, .hex, .srec, .s19 .elf, .stm32, .ext2, .ext3, .ext4, .vfat, .ubi, .jffs2, .img and .tsv files.I understand that the CLI parsed the firmware file path, which contains spaces, but I don't understand why as I put double quotes arround the %firmware% variable. Can you help me solving this issue ? Is there a way of forcing not to parse or conver

I'm developing a device with embeded display running using TouchGFX which has set of valves and actuators and sensors. I have to control those valves and actuators based on user inputs and sensor readings. User inputs are given by the user from multiple scrreens. Also the display has no touch, screen navigation and option selection should implement using physical buttons. My question is in which thread those application logic and state machines of of all physical components should be handled. From wheres shoud I do the decision making. In DefaultTask or TouchGFX task ? i.e. in main.c or Model.cpp ?Thank you

In stm32h743, in SPI, I have a slave device with interrupts enabled. In particular, I'm enabling all the error interrupts (UDR, OVR, CRCERR, FRE, MODF), and the RXP, TXP and EOTIE interrupts, in that order. If I enable EOTIE the first of all of them, everything goes fine. If I enable it after the TXP (as above), the SPI ISR gets fired endlessly. I read the SR reg. within it and its value is 0x12 (TXTF and TXP set), which makes sense because I didn't fill the TxFIFO, but I don't see why it fires all the time. Any idea why this happens?

Hi,I ran the SBSFU example of STM32CubeU5 following what is in the readme file without any problem. Then I disabled TrustZone but I cannot run the projects made with STM32CubeIDE, verification of the downloaded firmware fails. If I try to erase the flash memory (full chip erase) with STM32CubeProgrammer I get an error message. The error message indicates to check the flash memory protection but I have not set some flash memory protection. Thanks

I'm trying to use images through the flex button, but, when i select some images, there isn't any visual update and selection update. I tried change the "released" image and continuous with "No image" after the selection in my library images.anyone know about this problem?

Hi,Im using the Embedded Lib. I want one device to be a Target and the other the Initiator in every connection. Im trying to help me with the Ap2p example but couldnt fint anithing that tells me what the devices role is.

I am using the GUI version and the command line tool to work with a device, but one of these tools has a bug. Checking which bank is use to boot from I get clearly contradictory results. See screenshot. Which tool tells me the bank used to boot from?CLI: 2.13.0GUI: 2.12.0 (update not possible; that will be yet another bug report...)

I use CR95HF for charging type electric vehicle charger. I'm going to use the T-money card for RFID.The information you need should be able to read T-money Card number, month, day, and balance check. I need to use CR95HF, so could you share a commander that I can implement?About 2,000 units will be serviced. We need to consider purchasing the reader, and if this is not implemented, we need to replace the reader. If it can be implemented with CR95HF, I would appreciate it if you could share the data Tx Rx packet commander.

STPM32's document DS10272 states that Vref is 1.18V.However, if you install the "STPM3x Evaluation Software" program provided by ST and select the EVAL-STPM32 board in Configuration, Vref is set to 1.2V.which value is correct? In addition, if you look at the list (ppm/C) of Vref Temp Compensation in the "STPM3x Evaluation Software" program, you will see the picture below. It differs from Table8 in document DS10272.Is there a reason the two are different?
