For a given forum, say “STM32 MCUs Products”, I guess subscribers only receive emails for new Topics, but not the replies. Is there any way to get emails for all the posts, including the replies? If not now, then I suggest/request adding that option to the user settings somehow. The old forum allowed one to capture pretty much everything for a forum of interest.

I have some subscriptions around STM32 community and appreciate email notifications for it. This gives me many mails every day with only a few of them beeing really interesting for me. So I have a look on my incoming mails from time to time and want to have at least a short reading in a few interesting ones and delete the others immediately.Before switching to the new forum SW I received emails for my subscription with a sender field reading Community Mailer and a useful subject line like e.g.:Re: Floating point vs fixed point calculations (STMicroelectronics Community Subscription Update)So I see could decide very fast which mails could be deleted immediately leaving only some of them to open for reading. Now all notification mails have the same sender again of course entry (now ST Community notification) and nearly all the same subject line like A new topic has been created in STM32 MCUs Boards and hardware tools. The new community seems to be very slow in terms of surfing it (3/6 second for each page load). It’s definetly not my internet as I’ve 1gbps and before it was super snappyEDIT above seems back to normalI’ve figured out that there’s no HTML view when edit the post________________________________________________________________________________________________ Another thing is that the answered questions have basically the same feeling of the unanswered ones. A green checkmark is not enought in my opinion. It should be highlighted more. 

This list, which appears in the right-hand sidebar of every thread: This is that highlighted one:It is 7 years old, has no replies, and is locked.It doesn’t seem at all useful/valuable to link to that post ?

We went through this on the old forum: We’re now back to the situation where an announcement, article, etc from ST looks exactly the same as a User question: There needs to be something that identifies this as Not A Question. Not particularly urgent, but something to add to list for “next stages” ...

Hello,After the migration to the new Community Platform, I appear to have lost access to my previous community account.When I logged in today, I was unexpectedly asked to enter a nickname again. After doing so, I received the following email:"Your account is successfully activated."Since then:* My badges have disappeared.* My post history is empty.* Links to my previous topics redirect to the community home page. One example is my topic:VL53L1X returns 0x00 instead of 0xEA on PIC18F16Q41 hardware I2CThread ID: 901006The topic still appears in Google search results, including the title, replies, and accepted solution, but clicking the result redirects to the community home page.Could you please check whether my previous community account and content were properly migrated?Thank you for your help.Best regards,AndyO 

There was an option to set this on the old forum, and it was agreed that ‘open in new tab’ was the best default. When this forum turns a post link  into a clickable box like this:it opens in the current tab.Please can this be changed to new tab ?

I’ve noticed that when replying to a post that I had written a lot of text and added images. I expanded (red circle) the text area (blue area) to see everything. I needed to copy some text from the OP so I used the scroll bar (red rectangle) to view the first post.But as you can see in green, it’s just a small area that can be seen and that is all that is seen during scrolling. The edit textbox stays in place and doesn’t scroll. If i expand the edit textbox even further, all of the green area is totally out of frame.  

One of the complaints from the previous platform was that a lot of the space was lost.Yet, this new platform shows the same behavior: On the screen cap above, almost 1/3 of the screen is taken by the very large “Welcome” message + search box (the size of this can be divided by 2 without losing functionality, nor visibility).The posts themselves also take a lot of height for no real reasons.The point is, on a 32” monitor a lot of space is wasted and more information could be displayed at once.Maybe there is a hidden setting for a compact view ? I know I wish there would be one… Have a nice day !

The “Others: Hardware and Software” forum has over ten thousand entries. That is a lot. IMO, it would make sense to have a separate forum for the STM8; that would make it easier to browse STM8 ports, and declutter the “Others: Hardware and Software” forum. The only thing about STM8 that is still there in the new forums is the “STM8 MCUs” tag. And apparently most existing posts about the STM8 don’t even have that tag. 

It isn’t possible to add new lines in signatures.

I have a discussion in progress, started on 5 June, so it has not been ported to this new forum.I cannot carry on the discussion here, but I can’t seem to log into the old forum - if I use my email address and password it complains about illegal characters but if I use my username, it says “Attempt to sign in to SSO account using a username and password.” I have no idea what and SSO account is!How do I continue my discussion?

 Also, the old forum would have noted when it’s not just any comment, but my own comment that was marked.

There was one in the old forum.Having to visit every single thread individually - especially the ones in which I have no interest and nothing to contribute - just to get rid of the ‘New’ highlighting is going to be a real pain!

Browsing the main forum at https://community.st.com/, possibly I hit Show More Activity and then a duplicate shows up:But there is no duplicate thread, it is just listed twice. Forum is forcing me to choose a product area for this, despite it being in the feedback forum. There is no relevant selection.Also no relevant tags that I can see.

Heyho,please move the code insertion tag out of the “...” dots menu to the “main menu”.And improve its visibility.This will hopefully make (new) people use it more.We all know how unreadable it is otherwise, and “hiding” the tag surely does not help.

@Lina_DABASINSKAITE The forum seems to no longer explicitly identify which users are ST Staff.I think it should.

I noticed knowledge base articles don’t have a date and the sorting order can’t be changed(‘most recent post’, ‘most recent comment’,...). Is that intentional, and are they sorted by ‘most recent post’?

When going through many pages of topics, clicking the Show more activity button, when you go back to the main thread from a topic, all the topics you’ve gone through are collapsed. So you have to click the Show more activity button a bunch of times all over to resume where you left off. Though you can right click and open a new tab, sometimes you may forget. Also, why was the page selection removed from the previous forum version and this one? I was hoping this new one would bring it back. :(

I posted on 3rd June and have received emails today saying i have replies. However the topic has now vanished! It is no longer on my topic list or reply list.
