Question

It would be nice if clicking Send would be observable

When writing a reply, clicking Send does visually nothing until the thread reloads with the new post.

This can take quite a couple of seconds, during which one wonders whether he did click Send properly or what’s going on.

It would be nice if clicking Send would result in some immediate visual confirmation, before the actual reload.

PS> I have no idea what “product area” nor “tags” would this post belong to, so I just clicked some random. Maybe “Other” could be added for such purposes?

Hi @waclawek.jan ,

Can you share a screen recording of this issue? Thanks.

Just testing:

You’re right: the button changes colour when you move the mouse over it, but there’s nothing to indicate when it’s actually been clicked.

@Lina_DABASINSKAITE ,

sorry, I’m not equipped to make screen recordings.

Also it’s not really an issue, rather, a request for improvement, and I don’t want to go into video editing and animations nor to predicate what method of highlighting the “Sending-in-progress” state would be the most intuitively understood.

IIRC, Khoros simply left the “Send” button’s equivalent shaded out for that time. This is not to say it’s the “right” method.

When starting a new thread yesterday I realized that this funcitonality *is* implemented for the initial post (the send button changes to an animated “...”), but not for the replies.

What a rookie error.
