Previous posts, badges, and profile history missing after New Community Platform migration

Hello,

After the migration to the new Community Platform, I appear to have lost access to my previous community account.

When I logged in today, I was unexpectedly asked to enter a nickname again. After doing so, I received the following email:

"Your account is successfully activated."

Since then:

* My badges have disappeared.
* My post history is empty.
* Links to my previous topics redirect to the community home page.

One example is my topic:

VL53L1X returns 0x00 instead of 0xEA on PIC18F16Q41 hardware I2C
Thread ID: 901006

The topic still appears in Google search results, including the title, replies, and accepted solution, but clicking the result redirects to the community home page.

Could you please check whether my previous community account and content were properly migrated?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,
AndyO

Hello @AndyO ,

Thanks for reporting. I see your account was created on ‎2026-05-28 which falls under the migration timeline: Now live: your new ST Community platform | Community

The need to re-enter the nicknames confirms that the account was migrated. Otherwise, the system redirects to a new account registration window.

Regarding the content, it was not migrated yet because it was created during the transition phase from May 22 to June 9.

If the topic is urgent, recreate the post. Otherwise, patience is appreciated until the remaining content is carried over.

Kind regards,
Lina

Did you create your account during the migration period?

That’s covered here:

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Thank you, Andrew. I was new to the community and wasn't aware that some content could be lost during the migration period.
Everything is clear now.

Thank you, Lina. I was new to the community and wasn't aware that content created during the migration period would not be migrated immediately.
Everything is clear now. I will wait for the remaining content to be carried over.
