Subscribe to all messages, not just Topics?

For a given forum, say “STM32 MCUs Products”, I guess subscribers only receive emails for new Topics, but not the replies. Is there any way to get emails for all the posts, including the replies? If not now, then I suggest/request adding that option to the user settings somehow. The old forum allowed one to capture pretty much everything for a forum of interest.

You can do this by going to: https://community.st.com/settings/notifications and selecting Notify me about every reply.

However, unless I am mistaken, one only receives all the replies for topics one is already involved with. If you look at the Subscribe option inside a forum (group) it says “When you subscribe, we will email you when there is a new topic in this category.” What I was hoping for was to receive an email for all messages in the category (ex: STM32CubeIDE).

A few days of receiving subscribed messages have confirmed for me that the feature is exactly that (the quoted description). Perhaps the forum software also allows and enable for what I was hoping for?

This is intended behavior. Unfortunately, there is no option to subscribe to all messages and their replies, if you are not involved in them. To subscribe to topics and the incoming replies it’s only possible on the topic level by selecting Follow.

This idea is registered but we have no timeline about its development so I would suggest relying on existing options.
