TN1235, released this month has some basic information on the new STLINK-V3 (which already can be ordered at some distributors, but lead times are long, and where there are pictures they show the older ST-LINK/V1)
According to TN1235, for the SWIM interface (and thus for using STLINK-V3 with STM8) one needs some adapter board called MB1440. I found no mention of MB1440 outside of TN1235.
When will STLINK-V3 and MB 1440 become available?

I received a note from someone who bought it at Mouser. Apparently, the STLINK-V3SET comes with the MB1440 included.

@S C
It is a nice piece of hardware, with excellent capabilities!
Do you know if the protocol for the direct access of the USB-CAN, USB-I2C, USB-SPI will be published?
Documentation to the standard programming capabilities JTAG, SWD, SWIM would be very useful as well. (If not we have to reverse engineer it ;))
