STM32 cube programmer doesn't recognize my custom board neither via USB DFU nor USART.
My circuit is simply the STM32F070F6, a 12 MHz crystal and some LEDs to control (also caps and res as necessary).
Even with boot0 direct in high or low, I'm not able to make the SW identify the MCU.

So it sounds like your design isn't viable. Provide an actionable schematic or wiring diagram for those of us not familiar with the specifics of your design..
Make sure all the power pins, including VDDA/VSSA are connected, even if your aren't using ADC/DAC, the reset circuit is in that domain.
Check part orientation. Check pin numbering

The circuit is as follow.
3V3 is regulated from a 5V source.
