It's not possible to change the application structure in STM32CubeIDE v1.1.0.
STM32CubeMX v5.4.0 is installed.
The option "Advanced" is always used on every new created projects.

for the moment you can start your project from CubeMX 5.4.0 and set the basic advanced settings , then generate code with Toolchain CubeIDE.
Best Regards,
Khouloud.

Dear @AScha.381 ,
After discussed with team :
When starting the project, CubeIDE starts a “CubeMX? project. And the project structure must be frozen at the beginning.
We have considered that it will be easier for our customers to start with a default “advanced? structure, which is more “future proof? for your design rather than to ask the enigmatic question to most of our customers. ( so maybe this will not be fixed in the next release :\ ).
Otherwise, if you need the basic Application structure* please start your project with CubeMX then generate CubeIDE code.
Best Regards,
Khouloud

Thank you for your help. Luckely I had an older IDE software installed and migrated a clean project to the newest project.
We regularly use the basic structure. I would be very grateful if the option will be available again in the next release.

This bug is not fixed yet. This option is just removed from the Code Generator page...
